MidTown Welcome Center

Compared to cities of similar size, I’ve always found midtown to be clean, safe, and lively. I’ve never felt uncomfortable walking around by myself as a small female, and there is always a solid crowd of friendly folk every day of the week. Great bar scene, and tons of food options. I loved stays at MidTown Manor for a week and toodling around the city with my fiancé.

Reno is definitely making improvements to this area, and it has amazing potential. And the businesses that are currently in the area are all great. Friendly, good people working in them, always quick to go out of their way and give top-notch service. I have nothing but good to say about every aspect of the experience... except... The current road construction happening is a big pain in the keister. If you can put that aside, you are in for an experience that will at least plant a smile on your face. Because the people of Midtown region are amazing, and worthy of praise. I highly recommend stopping by for a few beers... do a crawl... but stop by, say "hey" and see where the evening takes you. You should find yourself lost in an atmosphere that will sweep you away.

Small town mom & pop atmosphere. Very inviting, friendly service at all the specialty shops. A place one can spend hours perusing, shopping, people watching... Blend of exotic treats & cultures

Just a great place to hang around in. Love all the shops and restaurants. It's just got such great energy down there.

Great atmosphere, good bars & restaurants, whole different vibe than downtown. I loved living in midtown!

Tons of different things to do all kinds of things to see...a wide variety if different cultures and what they eat(delicious in every different way)

Cool area with good food and drinks, and the occasional good band

Probably good, but road was so awful, I didn't bother to find out.
