Midway Pub Review - East Atlanta Village - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"East Atlanta Village isn’t exactly synonymous with sports. But drinking? Yes indeed. So when we want to participate in two of our favorite activities, we head to Midway Pub at the end of the EAV strip to grab a pitcher from their lengthy on-draft list and watch sports on the many TVs and projector screens that line the walls above the wooden bar. The standout here is the massive, partially covered patio, dotted with string lights that set the mood at night—and we’re suckers for some well-placed string lights. Midway’s food is typical bar fare, but they do offer Walking Tacos, in which beef or impossible chili is scooped into a bag of corn chips and topped with the usual fixings." - Juli Horsford

The bartenders are always on point with service, they are funny & very welcoming. They have a good variety of drinks and I just found out they have chilled coffee! I love to go there and play their Firelink games, so much fun! I had an issue with the money machine one time and the owner was just so super sweet and checked it out for me. The place is always clean and smells great! The atmosphere is unbelievably fun with a great variety of music being played on their digital jukebox. There is no food served there anymore, so I cannot leave review on that. Everything else is fantastic!

First time ordering food. Fries are awesome. My burger was a little overdone for my taste, but in all fairness, I also did not specify a cook on it. My husband had the tenders and said they were good also. As always, drinks were great.

The pizza was surprisingly delicious.. this little hole in the wall pub was great! It allows smoking so prepare to smell like ashtrays when you leave but the food was pretty darn good and it's a dart player's paradise as they have cork boards and steel tip darts lining an entire wall.

Have been going to this bar for a few weeks. Decide to go for a friend bday on Sunday. One female bar tenders is rude and very short. As I was putting my credit card away a grabbing my drink to leave the bar area she scream, y'all need to leave the bar area. There a sign.. She was just rude and it cost the bar my business. We went back to order. She refused to service us. The other bartender have always been awesome.

Great little place! Really good drink prices, TouchTunes, free darts and Golden Tee were definitely the selling points for me. As others have mentioned, it is a smoking bar so be prepared. Clean restrooms and a very laid back atmosphere with friendly staff.

Always enjoy the vibe here. The staff is phenomenal and the patrons are easy to get along with. If you're a non-smoker just know that there is smoking allowed. Entertainment abound 💪🏻

Careful, the owner, Ryan, is a thief. He bought pizza ovens from me and I delivered and installed them at a phenomenal price. There was a little issue with one of the ovens, so I gave him $500 off. I then took him a bunch of other kitchen equipment worth over $500. It was during covid so me being an understanding human being said to him, "pay me when the kitchen opens". Well the kitchen is open and he's denying my request for payment. Some people 🤷‍♂️

Came into to say I heard your pizza was good. Got the worst customer service I ever seen. Pretty sure only the same 10 people come hang out here and their a group. Apparently they don't serve food and it was my fault for thinking they did. I might not be the same race they usually accept here though. Don't recommend. Not a bar for newcomers.

Came here for a year, service went to shit. Avoid at all costs 5 Cheese 5 Cheese. I'd show food but it never came out from lack of service smh

I've never had a drink there but it's hands down the best pizza and pepperoni rolls in the area. The staff is always accommodating and welcoming, whether taking an order on the phone or while visiting in person. I'm sure it's a fun place to hang out but don't pass on ordering pizza from them the next time you are craving!

I drive past this place all the time, and I keep thinking I should try it. Today I decided to order food to go, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the cheese pizza, and it was delicious! The pieces are HUGE, but I still ate 3 because I couldn't stop at just 1 or 2. I really want to support local businesses during this pandemic. If you want good pizza order from here!
