i’ve actually never been here nor have i personally bought anything, but someone brought a cake from here. chocolate strawberry cake. it seems unassuming but WOW it’s one of the best cakes i’ve ever had. i could have eaten all of it myself. it was perfectly sweet (not actually sweet) and the texture was 10/10.

Google
The most gorgeous cake! But it definitely looked better than it tasted. It was a bit too sweet and the green layer was almost inedible. Still 4 stars for the beauty though.

Google
I used to come here a lot and the prices are rising and the quality is lowering. The cakes are hard to eat as the buttercream is hard to eat through even when thawed out. The cupcakes are dry and sour. However the past 2 months when I come in there is a middle aged white lady who is the upmost rudest person ever to her co workers. I have heard her speak very rudely, degrading, and hostile to different workers while myself and other customers were present. If this is your manager I would speak to her because it is utterly unwelcoming.

Google
Cute little bakery that also has some imported and housemade confections. If you have never been before, it is on the first floor to the right of the bank. The sign on the building says "batch pastries" and only the one hanging from the front glass under the awning references "miette". If you want to ensure that they will have the cake that you want, be sure to order online 48 hours before. Even early on a weekend morning, the cake selection is slim and they had already sold out of several flavors.

I spent $300 over ten times at this establishment and the most recent time we went, they berated me for calling in a large order. The employees have consistently been annoyed each time I ask for several dozen cupcakes (in which I helped buy them all out).

Google
It's a cozy little bakery with an excellent selection of baked goods. In fact, their eclairs are some of the best I've ever had! I highly, highly recommend driving up here to check it out.

Neha K.

Google
Absolutely delicious cakes and cupcakes. The buttercream is as soft as butter, especially the vanilla butttercream

Denaya K.

Google
This is such a small little shop. We were happy to have found it though! It has very unique desserts and had I been in Oakland I would have tried more because they looked delicious. I had chocolate cookies called Sables and they were so light, and buttery! They were like a chocolate short bread cookies! So so yummy! Will be back when I make my next trip to Oakland for sure!

Yelp
I recently got to try their fruit fondants and lavender shortbread. The fruit fondants are good if you like sweets since they really mainly taste like sugar - I couldn't really make out distinctive fruit flavors - and are almost powdery in consistency. I really liked the lavender shortbread since it does have a fairly strong lavender flavor and has that buttery richness of shortbread. However, I do find Miette to be a bit on the pricey side so I wouldn't generally want to buy their sweets on a regular basis.

Yelp
I don't know who needs to know this or if anyone would even care, but I purchased a Swedish Princess Cake from Miette through Goldbelly for my daughter's birthday. My daughter lives in Pittsburgh, PA, so I was deperately trying to give her after many months of searching for a company that could ship her favorite cake in the whole world from a bakery she grew up eating that same cake at for almost every birthday since she was 7 - she is now 28. The cake was supposed to be delivered on Friday, 8/22, it didn't arrive until Monday, 8/25 - the date of my daughter's actual birthday. And as you could imagine, the cake was a melted inedible VERY WARM mess. I checked the history on UPS and the cake was late from the start. The cake was picked up at 5:45pm in Oakland, made its way to the UPS facility and arrived at 11:03pm on 8/21 with a note at 11:04pm that the package was given to UPS after the cutoff time and that the delivery date may be impacted so it didn't even depart California until 7:25pm on Thursday 8/22 - so there was absolutely NO WAY the cake was ever going to make it 2,571 miles in less than 24 hours. Needless to say, I am disappointed and my daughter was for sure disappointed as she was looking forward to having something truly special for her birthday.

Yelp
Best bakery in Oakland.... Hands down.... Their cookies are magical..... So crunchy yet chewy and soft.... Beautiful browning......... How do they do it? I ask mysef every time..... Their cupcake..... Wonderful...... Their cream cheese buttercream frosting is to die for....... The carrot cake.... Best carrot cake ive ever had..... Walnuts, coconut, and raisins.... I usually HATE raisins in bakery items but they somehow make it taste delicious to me..... You can always depend on Miette for something marvelous..... I have no doubt that everything they offer is fantastic....... If they ever close down I will fall to my knees and weep........ I don't know if my heart could handle such loss......... 5/5 food 5/5 service 5/5 ambiance 5/5 everything...... (This is NOT a paid review)

Yelp
The cupcakes were hard and not overly flavorful. The place was cute inside but prices high and nothing we had was great.

Yelp
I love this place! OK, so I think my four-word review says it all, but yelp! apparently doesn't think so. Basically, for decorative cakes, this is the only place I ever go. Yes, they're close to my home, and, no, I haven't tried a bunch of other places, but still, I love the cakes just so much, I don't think I'd ever consider going somewhere else. Not only are they just delicious, they're so very beautiful. Go here!

Yelp
Great customer service and I love that they have a "happy hour" on their macarons. A lot of the macarons looked and tasted similar to each other (besides the more obvious flavors like chocolate vs pumpkin), but the texture was perfect. Light and fluffy cupcake. I do wish they had more variety of flavors for fresh baked cookies and cupcakes, but it may have been because I came at the end of the day. The mellow creme candies essentially taste like candy corn, if you're into that.

Yelp
HARD AND CRUSTY 5 DAY OLD SAFEWAY CUPCAKES I don't know what I was expecting after trying to battle for a parking space to satisfy my cupcake craving, but it sure wasn't the stale, hard yellow cupcake I bought for $5.25! James and the Giant Cupcake make these cupcakes look like something Safeway discarded! NASTY!

Yelp
I love the cupcakes! Great texture & flavor & not too sweet. I LOVE the gummies especially the ones imported from Germany. Service...leaves much to be desired. One of the joys of going to sweet shops is a happy joyful experience. You are paying for a luxury item the service should match. Maybe it could be more fun for the employees-even some music would be nice. Looking forward to a consistent uplifting joyful experience.

Yelp
Salted caramel is one of the amazing things I've gotten from Miette. We would go downtown specifically for this place.

Yelp
Had the chance to visit over the weekend and they have a pretty cute setup- I know the last couple of businesses at this spot have all been bakeries, but Miette has clearly spent the most time decorating its business. My girlfriend and I tried the Yellow Cupcake with Buttercream and the Carrot Cupcake with Cream Cheese Frosting. Sadly, the experience was disappointing due to the dry, unappealing texture of the cupcakes themselves. They may look cute and pose well for photos, but we found ourselves not wanting to eat them after a bite or two. The frosting on both, however, was very good and if I listened to my intrusive thoughts I would try to buy a tub of it and eat it in front of the TV. Overall, the experience was okay, and perhaps the macrons are better. As a side note, their macaron happy hour is logistically confusing, since it seems to take place outside of their regular business hours. It might be easier if they extended their business hours to include it or just set the happy hour to their last hour of the day.

Yelp
Miette in Montclair is one of the best kept secrets on the east bay. The cupcakes are in my opinion the best - the chocolate cake recipe they use is dark, rich and moist. Their cookies, macrons, and pastries are delicious and made with high quality ingredients. They also have a variety of bags of little sweet treats of various and interesting flavors. One could put together a wonderful gift basket with variety of items from the shop. It would be a wonderful gift. Did I mention there is also good coffee and friendly customer service? If you live in the east bay - definitely stop by Miette - it really is a little slice of heaven.

Ara B.

Yelp
This is a really cute bakery/candy store. Really fun variety and they're always very friendly. I do see why there are some negative reviews though, mostly around the cakes. Their cupcakes are yummy except for the vanilla. I don't know what's going on with the white cake recipe they have but it is not good. The buttercream is perfect, it's just the cake. Like someone else said, it really does seem stale, dry and old.

Amy C.

Yelp
Fun delightful and also delicious place to visit. Bring your fairy princesses and your knights in armor and anyway you wants to enjoy delightful and inspiring Items. I wanted to make an Easter basket. Large size peeps lollipops! But the shining star is Christos who works there. (sp? Name?!?) He's knowledgeable and friendly and makes me want to go back. Come check out this hidden gem.

Yelp
This is the worst cake I have ever had in my life. It tasted like carboard. The frosting had no trace of chocolate or butter, just some oily goo with no sugar and no flavor. The cake had no flavor. I do not understand the positive reviews. People have no taste.

Yelp
Delicious desserts and treats! My personal favorite is the chocolate covered whoppers and the chocolate chip cookies. Tons of cupcakes to choose from and all came out awesome. This is a great spot to grab something sweet and the staff is very friendly and helpful in selecting the perfect dessert.

Yelp
Was finally able to make it to happy hour for $1 macaron (note: m-f only). They open for happy hour a little after the hour. Was delighted that there was still a good assortment of flavors. Pistachio has a light nutty flavor and not bad. Green tea - was very good, u can taste the green tea but not overpowering. Possibly one of my favorite flavors. Dulche de leche - light caramel taste in the center, wasn't overly sweet as expected for this flavor, but that's why I think I liked it more. One of my favorite flavors. Vanilla - pretty good, but nothing special stood out. I guess can't do much w a vanilla flavor. Hazelnut - I actually like hazelnut flavored desserts and macarons so I thought I would like this. But surprisingly, it was my least favorite of all of them. It tasted more like what u would expect for a chocolate flavor and felt too sweet or rich to me. Flavor was so similar to a Nutella flavor, it didn't taste authentic to me. I liked the Macarons and thought the quality was one of the best I've had. But, one thing I didn't like so much was that all of the outer "cookie" shells had almonds in it, and tasted like it was exactly the same for each flavor. I would have liked some macarons to be wo almonds to give variation in the texture bc I found myself just chewing a lot to eat the almonds. Also would have appreciated various flavor "shells" for different flavors that other bakeries tend to have. Overall, I will be back, and maybe to try the other flavors available

Yelp
I stumbled upon Miette after an unsuccessful dog training session with my puppy, Miss Red, about 6 or so months ago and now we are regular visitors at least twice a week. The Americano is my absolute favorite! Any of their pastries or desserts are wonderful. My favorite is the Lemon scone for breakfast and one of their lemon or chocolate tartlets for dessert. They have a wide selection of cupcakes and cookies as well. I can't wait for the chocolate covered whoppers to come back in stock! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the store is beautifully decorated. Thank you!

Yelp
I have a tradition of getting my wife and son macarons for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, the macaron places I used to go to have closed shop, so I was forced to try a new (to me) place, and with Miette having good cupcakes and being relatively close by, I thought I'd give 'em a try. Sadly, their macarons were disappointing, and I certainly wouldn't get them again. But before I get into the unrelenting mediocrity of their flavors, my biggest complaint is that someone at the shop got their varieties of macarons mixed up, which meant that we ended up with several of the wrong flavor. See, Miette keeps their macarons in these big, clear glass jars on top of the counter. Each jar is clearly marked with the flavor, so you can easily see which ones you're getting. Out of six chocolate macarons I ordered, *four* of them turned out to be orange-chocolate, a flavor which we all find to be vile. Yet, I watched the woman pick six macarons from the jar labeled "chocolate," which means someone screwed up and put some orange-chocolate ones into the chocolate jar. The chocolate and orange-chocolate macarons look nearly identical, so one can see how a mistake like this could happen. But it's still wholly unacceptable to pay for one flavor and wind up with another, especially when it's as gross as orange-chocolate. (I mean, who wants a macaron that tastes like cough syrup?) The same thing happened with the vanilla and pistachio macarons, which also look indistinguishable from each other. Out of six pistachio macarons, *four* of them were vanilla! I watched the woman pull six macarons from the pistachio jar, which means, *again*, someone screwed up and put some vanilla ones in the pistachio jar. The two flavors look similar enough that they're hard to tell apart, but this is unacceptable when you have paying customers. I felt ripped off because we got a bunch of flavors that I did not ask for or want. The other problem is that these macarons were incredibly bland; none of the flavors popped in the way that good macarons do in Paris, nor were they anywhere near as flavorful as the pretty good macarons from Chantal Guillon, which sadly closed its San Francisco location recently. Also, the cookie parts had an odd flavor, which tasted stronger than the filling! So, c'mon, Miette - get it together! This kind of flakiness is inexcusable, especially when these macarons aren't cheap. I paid $60 to get two sets of specific flavors, and I did not get what I ordered. And why go to the trouble of making and selling macarons if you're not even going to get them right? If I ever go back to Miette, I'll stick to their cupcakes.

Yelp
The variety her is pretty amazing. The team is usually pretty helpful. They did need a few days notice to make a birthday cake, which wasn't super convenient. But it was tasty!

Yelp
Stopped in and picked up cupcakes and a carrot cake and everything was delicious! Loved the generous serving of cream cheese frosting on the carrot cake! Could eat that in its own. For the cupcakes, we had lemon, chocolate, and peanut butter.

Yelp
I've long been a Miette fan. Their meringues, caramels, and macarons always cheer me up. As Mother's Day approached I turned to Miette to supply some deserving moms in my life with sweet treats. I ordered macarons, cupcakes, cookies and some other goodies for pick up from their Jack London Square store. I followed up with a note asking if they could pack an assortment of cupcakes in different boxes for each of the moms on my list. They happily obliged me. Miette owner, Meg, even wrote to say "The moms will love you!" And they did. Thank you Miette for making me and many other moms happy this Mother's Day!

Yelp
Be a part of their email list. Preorder cupcakes for Friday pickup at their Oakland location. $2.50 each. They are adorable! And yummy!

John L.

Yelp
$50 for a very average 6 inch birthday cake is way too expensive. They referred to this item as a "naked" birthday cake, which I quickly learned only meant there was no icing on the outside. Felt like a cute way to justify cost savings.

Yelp
AT&T/ Comcast of a cake shop. We placed an order for a Christmas cake on 12/11 over the phone and were told they would call back if the specific cake we wanted was not available. We never received any call from them. A day before the supposed pickup date, we called to confirm the order, just to be told they had no record of our order. The person proceeded to put us on hold to "see if they can do anything about it." We waited on the line for over 15 minutes until being hung up without a word. We tried to call back, but apparently they either blocked our number or unplugged the phone. Rude. Incompetent. Not a way to treat a customer, especially at a location that, without much foot traffic, would benefit from local community support. Now we are left with two toddlers who had been looking forward to the Christmas cake without one. Oh we miss Batch so much! We will never bother with this business.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place because I thought it looked like a cute little bakery. I initially wanted a cappuccino but was told they only have whole milk, no alternative milk options so beware my Lactose intolerant or vegan friends, there isn't many options for you to choose from here. As a result, I ordered their americano which sadly was terrible. It had that overly burnt taste when the poor espresso beans get over heated tarnishing it's natural taste Positives: Plenty of parking in their lot so if you're in need of picking up something quick and sweet, this has its perks compared to the other bakeries in Montclair. No savory options here which was disappointing but it is a dessert bakery not your standard bakery so I can't blame them for that. Personally, I thought their gingerbread cupcake was pure sugar, though the cream cheese frosting on top was phenomenal. The other redeeming quality was their pumpkin walnut bread loaf which was incredibly moist & remained warm when purchasing in the morning. While this place is cute, I much preferred the variety of sweets that Batch Pastries once offered here. Admittedly, I likely won't come back here unless I am in an absolute rush to get a dessert or sweet on my way to an event. I much prefer a bakery with better coffee, savory & not overly sweet options at one of the other shops in Montclair.

Yelp
This is the first place in the bay area where I've tried exceptional macarons. They're so good; moist and the perfect amount of sweetness. My favorite was the hazelnut macaron! My cousin ordered some chocolate toffee bark which I also enjoyed. The place is cute but missing the pink theme like SF.
google avatar

Stacy P.

Yelp
Their page lists vegan options but when we went in the kid behind the counter was not helpful and said no we don't have anything vegan. When I told him their page said they did he then showed me some Turkish candies and said that was it. We drove all the way (20 minute drive) for vegan cupcakes/cookies/desserts not a gel candy. Staff also was not friendly or helpful without prompting. Won't go back or recommend to anyone.

Yelp
Cute bakery and delicious treats. Love their cupcakes as they are delicious and tasty. All of the ingredients they use are local and organic when possible.

Yelp
I ordered a birthday cake for my special 8-year-old. It was expensive -- $50 for their smallest size -- but it turned out to be the best cake I have ever had. Since I am 84 and lived in France as well as a lot of other places in this wide world, that's saying something. The butter-cream frosting was utterly delicious. Everyone in my household who sampled this raspberry butter-cream cake marveled at how delicious it was. Next birthday I have to buy a cake for, the cake will come from the Oakland Miette on Mountain Boulevard.

Yelp
One word: macarons. I have yet to find a bakery that makes maracons with the same consistency as Miette - chewy with that initial crisp, an almond taste that's neither lacking nor overwhelming, and flavors that are scrumptious regardless of which one you pick. I was so very disappointed when the Miette in Larkspur closed down, but luckily, bae had my back and brought me an assortment from the Oakland location. My heart did somersaults! I absolutely love macarons. Their colors excite me and the delectable flavors make me want to buy one of everything. Miette's macarons aren't as colorful, but what they lack in dye, they make up for in taste. I will happily purchase one of each from those large glass jars, which beckon as they sit on top of their display case. I've sampled hazelnut, dulce de leche, strawberry, pistachio, chocolate-lavender, rose geranium, and vanilla - each filled with buttercream or ganache. My favorite flavor is the hazelnut, but you honestly can't go wrong with any of them. And trust me when I say that you'll want more than just one...
google avatar

Yelp
What a cute-looking patisserie within Jack London Square. I went to visit Miette after 4:30pm, which is also when their happy hour for macarons started. What a nice surprise to hear! I wanted to purchase their macarons, too. The service was average (not friendly or welcoming nor not rude), but I only came just for the baked goods. I just bought a box of 8 macarons for $8. I chose to get my all time favorite flavor, rose-gernanium, along with dulce de leche and pistachio flavors. It was just perfect. The texture of the macarons are smooth and crispy, with a chewy bite, and great in-depth flavor. I definitely want to visit more often during happy hour to purchase more macarons. Also, their shortbread cookies look amazing, too. Happy Hour ($1/Macaron): 4:30pm-5:30pm

Yelp
So I have walked right by this little gem of a bakery for years and not gone in but I did yesterday and I am really glad I did. I will be going again, I am sure of that. My first purchase there was a mini pumpkin pie with whipped cream on it and it was the most perfect take on pumpkin pie that I have ever had. Light and delicious and so so yummy. They have lots of things there - cookies, cupcakes and other delights that I am going to go back and look at. But that pumpkin pie tartlet - amazing!

Mae B.

Yelp
I come here every year for my S/O's birthday cake. It's not cheap but it is usually worth it! This year they decided to not include the decorative toppings - I usually like to commemorate the day with a photo of my s/o with his cake to send back to his family. We don't have anyone out here so it's special for us. The scharffen berger cake is my usual go to - but I'll be finding a different bakery to support if they won't make it right. Extremely disappointing to open up an expensive cake and have it presented as a brown shiny turd. *Update* I contacted the store and reached out to customer service via email to address the problem. They refunded my purchase in full and emailed me a $20 miette gift card. I appreciate the business making it right and have amended my review to reflect that.

Elaine D.

Yelp
Stopped by to pick up quick dessert. Lovely little shop with lots of goodies. VERY expensive but worth it. BUT the staff was anything BUT welcoming, not rude but not friendly. No one said hello to me or thanked me for coming in and when asked a question they mumbled the answer. I try so hard to support local business but staff needs to be trained to at least APPEAR to be appreciative of the business. It's no fun going into a cute little shop and be treated as if they could not care whether or not you shopped there. I might or might not return. The little lemon tarts were very good but expensive. I'll think twice before returning,

Yelp
This review is for the macarons only: I got the vanilla, dulce de leche, hazelnut, and salted caramel I believe? I thought the hazelnut was the best as I am a fan of Nutella and the outside had a nice shell. The others however were really chewy and did not have the same crackly shell as the hazelnut. And someone else said they taste very similar because they use the same cookie and they were pretty right on that. Overall, my search continues for excellent macarons in the east bay. But I should mention the person helping me was pleasant and the store was clean so nothing bad to say about these guys.
google avatar

Yekaterina B.

Yelp
Unfriendly, but delicious macarons. Would have given more stars if we didn't have to ask for a free sample that we noticed after we had already paid, because their macarons are tasty. After reluctantly giving us samples, another customer in the store actually had to ask "hey can I have one too?" What's the point of hiding the samples? Don't you want us to buy more stuff? Weird. Also, their Turkish delights contain gelatin according to one of their employees, which is offensive to say the least. Turkish delights are made with cornstarch and should be halal.

Yelp
I happened by this little shop totally by accident. On my way to somewhere else on the JLS waterfront. The offerings in their case are few. The presentation of their product line is clean and immaculate however. Whenever I see that cupcakes are offered, my ears perk up. I was definitely not disappointed with theirs. At this point in time I must say that their cupcakes (especially the dark chocolate devils food kind) are, without a doubt: The best I have ever tasted. Not kidding. At all. They are small and they are expensive (for cupcakes). Smaller than your standard c.c. and @ $3.75 they are @ the A-Ticket ride price. I definitely got my money's worth however. The cupcake was extremely moist, light, and delicate, with rich flavor oozing from each morsel that I inhaled. Their crème frosting is light and luxurious. The most amazing frosting I have ever experienced. Evar! I guess $3.75 per cupcake is not too high a price for something as good as theirs. It would have been very easy for me to have inhaled 3 or 4 w/o sharing. Unfortunately for me, I had to share the 4 c.c. I purchased with my S.O. waiting at home. I almost didn't, they were THAT good!

Jo-Ann D.

Yelp
Got macaroons for Valentines weekend. Wife is all excited that they have moved in not far from our house. $2/each is largely the going rate. I am not a kid. I am not a "foodie" (a poser who only pretends to be knowledgeable/or just "only ~I~ understand food") I'm just a man who likes a good macaroon. And these are NOT that. Sift, uniformly underbaked, almost bad stomach cookie dough. The chocolate taste like chocolate a bit. The others taste like nothing but raw dough. I'm serious. You pinch them between your fingers and they squish like raw cookie dough, and they taste like it, too. This is serious. Surely the company knows how to make macaroons. Do they know how to run QC on their kitchen? Dismal failure. My wife said the cakes and cupcakes looked good. Macaroons were truly raw, inner and outer.

Yelp
Amazing macarons and shortbread cookies. Snickerdoodles we're also really good. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Okay I know this place holds the title for having the 4th best dessert in America, but honestly, I don't understand why... First off, ALL the macaroons, with the exception of the strawberry one, taste exactly the same! Second off, that 4th best dessert in America tastes like sweet vanilla cream cheese frosting...definitely not a fan of a cupcake that only has frosting as a highlight of it. Lastly, I do not appreciate getting poor, rude service because you asked me why I did not like the cupcake. The lady who rang me up heard me tell my friend I was only going to get one because I wasn't sure if I would like more than one cupcake. So when I went to pay and only paid for one- the woman was like "well why didn't you like it?" in a VERY rude tone. Excuse me...it is none of your business why I chose to only buy one cupcake. I told her I just wasn't a huge fan of a lot of frosting. But her face looked very displeased and she did not even tell me to have a good day when I left. Well sorry for not liking your baked goods...jeez Needless to say, I would not make a trip to Miette again. Overpriced baked goods with either bland or overpowered flavors.

Yelp
Walked in today wanting to get some cookies. Everything looked great...except for all the flies in the case that housed all the cookies. If you're making great baked goods, KEEP THE FLIES AWAY! What a disappointment...

Purchased a 6 inch cake for my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, the cake was incredibly dry to the point where it tasted as if it were made several days beforehand. We were pretty disappointed as the cake was beautiful, however it just tasted awful.

Yelp
Fantastic customer service!!! I needed a super special birthday cake for tomorrow and Cristof was amazing by phone, explaining everything in detail, writing down what I wanted the cakes to say, and being patient and kind along the way. I am so excited to pick up the cakes tomorrow! Thank you Cristo / Cristof!! Such a pleasure to work with you!!

Yelp
Came by for some macaroons the other day before lunch at the Jack London Square location. Parking was scarce on the street due to the farmer's market so decided to park in the paid lot underground for $1.5. Macaroons are $1.85 and they were excellent! By comparison, the macaroons at Bottega Louie in Downtown LA is still better! By Nor Cal standards, this place beats Bouchon! ;) Service was excellent by the staff and they recommend keeping them at room temperature for a couple days before popping them in the fridge and bringing them back out to consume at room temperature! :D

Yelp
Really cute little pastry shop in Jack London Square with full (small) cakes and a bunch of take-away baked goods including cupcakes, macaroons, shortbread and brownies. Lots of sweet selection. Delicious and moist brownies, shortbread was amazing and some really delicious-looking cakes. Will definitely try these guys for a birthday cake soon.

Yelp
I truly miss the previous bakery! This place has nothing on 'Batch.' My interactions were unpleasant across the board. This place is not good enough to be so terrible to customers. Sheesh! I will never go back.

Yelp
Beautiful store. Decadent, whimsical feeling thanks to the pink and green pastel colors and the nicely organized cellophane bags of candies sealed with dainty satin bows. There are some neat selections such as gourmet grahams and shortbread cookies, turkish delight and macarons (half off during later hours of the weekday). It was hard to tell what this shop made itself. Many items appeared repackaged with a steep upcharge due to the new packaging and tourist location. Some items like the cupcakes and macarons looked fresh (and were very good!)... For such a pretty store, the clerk displayed indifference at best when I came into the store. She barely looked up when I walked in and when I said hello...I didn't hear a response. Maybe it was just a bad day or moment, but the lack of any engagement really sucked away my excitement at finding this new place. Prices are a bit steep. You are paying a lot for store location and presentation. If that is okay with you....this is definitely your place.
