Mighty-O Donuts is hands-down one of my favorite spots—not just for the amazing donuts, but because of the incredible people behind the counter. Jarrett is truly one of a kind: warm, kind, and always going above and beyond to create a welcoming experience. He brings such positive energy and care to everything he does, and it’s clear his team reflects that same spirit. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and clearly takes pride in their work. You can feel the love and intention behind every visit. Huge thank you to Jarrett and the entire Mighty-O team for making this place so special! Find me with a box of assorted minis and a iced lavender oat milk latte!

Google
Delicious vegan doughnuts!! Super yummy- and the coffee is also amazing! Its very much worth the price. Thank you so much for a great breakfast, we will definintely be back! 😍

This is one of my favorite places in Seattle. I've been going here for a decade now! The staff has always been friendly, the cake donuts deliver EVERY. TIME. And their coffee is so good too! There are large windows that look out over the peaceful neighborhood. 10 out of 10! I love this place.

Google
Mighty-O has great cake donuts. My favorite is the nutty french toast, but they're all good. We also really liked the seasonal snowball donut. Their soy lattes are great. Our dog loves to come here, too! They gave us a little chunk of donut for him since they were out of the naked mini donuts. We've been to several Mighty-O locations with our dog (including on the Tour de Donut bike event) and appreciate how welcome he is.

Google
Delicious cake-y donuts. They’re very sugary but not too greasy. Our top 3 favorites are the grasshopper (chocolate mint), raspberry chocolate and lemon poppyseed.

I grew up coming here and am so happy it still has its positive vibes and devine donuts.

Google
Best place to grab a feel-good cake donut and the coffee drinks are always the most delicious. Are they actual wizards? Please add more coffee to the coffee bomb, TY!!

Google
Very good donuts, can't stop eating 🙈 Totally not so sweet. I'm pregnant, and they satisfied my desire of donuts but have to control my sugar level. Good product and friendly service. I'm glad I bought the half box with 6 donuts.

Yelp
When you're hard craving amazing donuts - you'd be hard pressed to turn away from one of the best, Mighty-O Donuts. Their donuts are all 100% vegan and, I'd confidently put these up to a blind taste test challenge for non vegan friends any day of the week. Based on their website, they can be found at five different locations ( https://mightyo.com/locations/ ): Ballard, Green Lake, Capitol Hill, 2nd & Madison, and Marginal Way (pre-order only). Often times they can be found in other stores as well, many times when I've visited Whole Foods, they had Mighty O's donuts in their donut case. My favorite location is the one at Greenlake (2110 N 55th St Seattle) as that's the one I've known since moving to Seattle 18+ years ago. Let's talk more about 18+ years because .. well, Mighty O's has the distinction of being a Seattle Vegan classic, as they first started selling their donuts in (wait for it....) 2001 and opened their first bakery/cafe in Wallingford all the way back in 2003, 20+ years of vegan donut goodness ... it's hard to beat that level of consistency and continuity !! Trivia Time! Did you know that Mighty O's won the first ever Food Network Donut Challenge! True story! This was back in 2011, Season 11 Episode 8, April 10th 2011. There were four competitors overall, one of which was also local to the Seattle area but not vegan. Mighty O's persevered and rose above all challengers to win the competition. You can read more about it here == https://www.wallyhood.org/.../food-network-donut.../... I would provide a link to the video but try as I might, I wasn't able to find a playable link. If you're able to find one, I would love if you could share it in the comments section! Ok, now that you're well entrenched in some history of this Seattle iconic classic of vegan donut mastery, time to talk about ... the donuts!! They always seem to have a colorful, flavorful, tempting array of donuts, from the more demure and classic to bold flavors (they're fun on holidays with temporary holiday flavors). They specialize in cake donuts (yum!), and I do mean specialize (!!!) but also offer the yeast variety as well. It's so difficult choosing one (or two) donuts over another that it's not all together uncommon to end up leaving there with a dozen , maybe that's just a "me" problem . For our recent visit, we managed to keep our order somewhat ... reasonable, Twist - a soft, doughy yeast type donut, and three perfect cake donuts Orange Glazed mini, Coffee Bomb, and a Chocolate Peanut Butter, each with their own unique base of cake donut goodness with specialized flavors to elevate each in their own unique way. If you haven't tried Mighty O's, you're in for a treat (or two) and if you have tried them, always check back because they routinely add new flavors to their itinerary as well as having regular classics available.

Yelp
I've been coming to the Green Lake/Tangletown location several mornings a week for 20 years, and honestly what keeps me coming back isn't the donuts (I love them, but not for every day) or the coffee (it's really good, but good coffee abounds in the Wallingford/Green Lake area), but the staff. Interesting, friendly, fun, and efficient people who take the time to connect with their customers. Jarrett, Rowan, Kevin, Ciarrah(?), Zach, Devin, Rachel, Gabby... these and so many others over the years who enjoy engaging and making the morning coffee interaction an enjoyable one. Keep on picking winners, M-O, and treat them well! Waste receptacles returned a while back, good on ya guys!

Yelp
Located in the beautiful university district of Seattle, Mighty-O turned out to be a great spot for coffee and you guessed it-Donuts!!! I tried a variety and loved them all-Jelly donut was one of the best. Great coffee options and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Parking garage nearby as well.
google avatar

Haley N.

Yelp
Fun organic vegan donut options! They have mini sizes which I loved so I could try more flavors. Not going to lie though, I enjoyed the classic donut flavors more than the chocolate peanut butter one. French toast donut was good too though. Coffee was yummy as well! Outdoor seating with shaded area was appreciated and enjoyed. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Vibe is totally appropriate with wood tones and a pleasant, friendly feel. Donuts ended up being a bit too dense and heavy tho, especially the glazed raised twist, which was quite disappointing. The peanut butter cake also was too heavy a feel and not interesting. The mini-frosted cake was actually pretty good tho... should have stuck to those!

Yelp
This spot is a go-to for delightful, vegan sweet treats made with locally sourced, high-quality ingredients. However, my excitement for the seasonal s'mores donut was met with a bit of disappointment; it looked quite different from the enticing online pictures. One of the images captures the online expectation, while the other two reflects the reality of what I received.

Stacy S.

Yelp
Everything is great, I wish they would have a facility or shop in Bellevue or Kirkland, maybe because Top Pot is there?
google avatar

Kelly B.

Yelp
Good vegan donuts. They are vegan. This does not mean they are healthy! Sugar is vegan LOL! But they are pretty tasty!
google avatar

Yelp
We've patronized this place for over five years but today is our last day. The person working the register was extremely rude- she rolls her eyes and treats people poorly. We are so turned off by our experience, we won't be back.
google avatar

Garrett F.

Yelp
A wonderful ambiance, friendly baristas, and excellent donuts. I love to do work there.

Yelp
A "must to" when I come to Washington. I wish we had a Mighty-O in Louisville! This store is cute & quaint. The service is always great. Parking can get difficult. Their donuts are fresh & scrumptious. They have so many various flavors. In previous years I've come during the summer so they had blueberry donuts & fritters (highly recommend if you are in town during the summer months). This was my first fall visit & they had pumpkin spice donuts. Delicious! However my new absolute favorite that I wish I had more of: Grasshopper. It's the perfect mix of chocolate & mint. So so so yum!
google avatar

Tracy A.

Yelp
One of my favorite Mighty locations. Near Greenlake, Tangletown nestled in a residential area, they have a lot of foot traffic which I think contributes to a better store. While they do run out of some donuts by mid day, they keep a lot of donuts at the ready. There's a nice selection including seasonal and celebratory flavors. It's a nice shop with inside and outside seating to enjoy a coffee too. The staff is a friendly group.
google avatar

Koyuki B.

Yelp
Order a maple bar and cost $5! I have to say... The worst maple bar I ever had. Why is it white sugar frosting? And no flavor?
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
While I am still not a fan of mighty-o's donuts, I do like this location and the staff. I come in looking like a complete idiot unsure of where the line is, which donuts are for sale, etc. But the staff were very friendly and my dog went bonkers when they gave him a donut. It feels festive in here whenever I pass by.
google avatar

Wendi K.

Yelp
I tried the vanilla cake donut with pink sprinkles - it was dense and delicious. There were so many flavors, they all looked so pretty - it was so difficult to choose! Definitely want to come back and try more.
google avatar

Brian G.

Yelp
We go here any time we are in Seattle visiting my brother-in law. Given that they are plant based and organic the are decent donuts. They still aren't up to the texture and taste of normal donuts, but they hit the spot. There isn't a lot of parking in the area, but we walk there so it isn't an inconvenience. It is just something to consider if you are traveling to Tangletown.

Yelp
My husband has been dropping hints of donut cravings so I decided to surprise him with donuts and coffee this morning; not being a donut lover I used Yelp to help me find a top rated donut shop. The ratings and even media coverage I found on Mighty-O Donuts really peaked my interest, yielding a preorder I placed two days prior to pickup. I greatly appreciate the option to preorder, this ensures your desired selections are available and makes the pick up process extremely efficient. These donuts are truly unlike any other donut I've smelt, they don't reek of grease. I chose to order a variety my husband really appreciated being able to taste the fresh apples, lemon, raspberry, and maple. My toddler whom loves pumpkin devoured the pumpkin spice donut; I had to try it and it was spectacular (I truly don't like donuts, I'm still surprised I actually enjoyed it!!) The coffee is really good also, definitely grab a cup! Overall, my little Friday morning surprise went perfectly and my husband couldn't be happier hosting his meetings. Thanks Mighty- O Donuts; I highly recommend!

Yelp
Dense, delectable donuts. Expensive. No frills, to-go setup storefront. Enjoyed ~ Raspberry Riot, French Toast, Apple Fritter. Service ~ no one else in the shop but the guy looked in a rush. His suggestion was 'depends what you like' and nothing more. Turns out he just wanted to get on his phone after handing out the box to us. Neighborhood in and out nook.

William R.

Yelp
OK so these are by far some of the best doughnuts. The quality and flavors are incredible. The size is just right. Pricing is a little high but well worth it. Some favorites are grasshopper, chocolate raspberry, and raspberry riot. Kids' favorite is devil's playground (hmm...?). The shop is small and quaint with a decent kids' area in the back. Service is good with friendly staff. Recently though the boys wanted stickers, and they were over $2 ea. I thought that was lame but shelled out almost $5 for two, since they had seen them to took them not realizing there was a charge. Maybe put a sign, because it felt short of chintzy. So... skip the stickers and get the doughnuts.

Zaina I.

Yelp
Do not come here if you love maple bars. There is no maple flavor and it's just sugar glaze. Grocery store donuts are better than this. And it's overpriced for a not good donut. The donut itself is fluffy at least

Elaine P.

Yelp
One star because the coffee was decent. Ordered a maple bar and peanut butter chocolate donut. Neither, I mean neither had any flavor. They were moist enough, but not even a hint of flavor. The maple bar glaze was a strange blond color. We both thought that someone had forgotten to add the maple extract. The peanut butter chocolate donut had no peanut butter, or chocolate flavor. We ended up throwing both of them away. Can't believe what a brisk business they do. We are baffled.
google avatar

Kristen C.

Yelp
Disappointed. The donut flavors are very muted. It was upsetting not getting a flavor punch, even the coffee donut with a cold brew donut, coffee glaze, and espresso powder serious lacked that unmistakable coffee flavor. This was the same for the chocolate donut and French toast donut. The exception was the lemon poppyseed donut. The lemon glaze was puckeringly (my new word) good! Note: If you order less than 1/2 dozen they stick all the donuts in the same bag. Also, they DO NOT have restrooms (for use) and there's no table seating. I will try it again, but not anytime soon.

Em S.

Yelp
Can't wait for another vegan donut option to put Mighty O in their place. Every time I get a chocolate covered donut it's soaking wet and they throw it in a bag. 30 seconds later and you've lost a LOT of chocolate. Very often the yeast donuts are over mixed and too chewy, dry, not fresh.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Alright alright, I've been craving donuts for months now and having recently moved cross-country to the west coast, my quest for donuts began. Now we all know donuts can be made, too sweet, too dry, too soggy, the list goes on - so naturally I had to find the best ones. My friend highly recommended Mighty-O donuts so I was down to try them. Guess what? They deliver them TO YOU for a few extra dollars!! Dang, I gotta say that's good service. To my delight, they are by far THE BEST donuts I have ever had. My favorite would have to be the Sprinkles donut. Now, I'm not one to like Sprinkles in general, but I said why not. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but they're also so darn good!!! If you haven't tried their donuts, I can confidently say that I highly recommend these donuts because they will fill that donut void that you've been having for days, weeks, months, maybe years. You will NOT regret it. Pair it with some coffee & you'll start the day off on a great note! Your taste buds will thank you!!!
google avatar

Carlos E.

Yelp
Delicious! They are so worth it. The donuts are great, and the coffee is a perfect pair. The staff is very friendly, fast, and efficient. I always go hungry and leave satisfied each time. Also, Greenlake is the best location, in my opinion.
google avatar

Arjun M.

Yelp
amazing cake donuts, really interesting flavors too. Cute shop and the service was fast.

Charlie W.

Yelp
Mighty O donuts has some great donuts my favorite of which being the grasshopper a delicious chocolate vanilla donut. There is a vast array of donuts all of which being vegan, but not the bad kind of vegan donut there delicious and I'm not vegan. You get your donuts really fast and 1 tap boom 12 donuts. I usually don't eat my donuts at mighty o, but when I do the view of the outside is great.

Mariah B.

Yelp
We love Mighty-O so much, we had their donuts in lieu of a wedding cake!!! We ordered 8 different flavors to make up our donut wall. Everything being gluten free and vegan made it so easy to accommodate all of our wedding guests. Easily a highlight of the day!!

Yelp
I've been a long time lover of Mighty-O and this is my most frequented location. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but this is the most northern option, in my dreams a location comes even further north, but so far no luck. I'm happy to see there has been so much expansion in locations since my previous review nearly a decade ago, it's so awesome to be able to get donuts in Ballard, Capitol Hill and South Lake Union. The Greenlake is still where I usually end up. I do consider donuts a special treat and not necessarily an ideal breakfast food so I don't get them all too frequently, but I do enjoy a special occasion day that starts off with some delicious donuts. It seems like forever since I've come across the creme filled ones, but I have made my peace with it and now enjoy the Sprinkles, Raspberry Riot and Lemon Poppy. I do like that they always tempt me with samples while I wait in line, but I do still tend to stick to what I love. My non veg partner is happy to share these donuts with me, despite his usual complaints that vegan products taste different than their non vegan counterparts. I like to make a morning of enjoying some coffee, reading the paper, people watching from the bar stools and getting my fingers all sticky. In the future I'll try to remember to get my coffee in a to-go cup since the donuts will disappear super quick.
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Solid cake donuts with interesting flavors. Can't tell they did anything to make them vegan so that's always good.
google avatar

Shenoah C.

Yelp
The most delicious donuts ever. My favorites are always the Devil's Playground and Lemon Poppyseed.
google avatar

Yelp
Early morning pick-me-up-donuts I've always enjoyed their donuts, although my hubby likes the good'ol regular donuts . The emoji expressions says it all. One bite ‍ and you'll want more ... Happy Halloween "pumpkin spice."

Lily B.

Yelp
Best donuts in Seattle! Made from scratch no commercial mixes. These are 100% plant-based and organic!

Yelp
I've spent almost every Saturday morning at this Mighty O's over the last year getting many dozens of every donut they make for my wife's study group at our house. I personally have probably tried every single donut they sell. There are a couple I'm not a fan of but for the most part these are amazing, wonderful, tasty and flat out delicious. Vegan? Vegetarian? Yeah I was a skeptic my first time in line but someone in the study group swore these were great and sure enough YES THEY ARE. Don't let the vegan-thing sway you at all. Believe me, I am a full on meat eater through and through, but now I'm also a Mighty-O vegan donut lover. Don't worry at all, unless you tell yourself something you won't even care they're so good. It's so bad that I sometimes make an excuse, to myself, to drive this way home and grab a donut for the short drive home from here. Wife will never know (so I think). Half way through their semester I asked my wife if the group were getting bored of the Mighty-O's and if I should find somewhere else or something else. I think that's the only time I feel my life has been threatened LOL. Just kidding, but the group did immediately respond NO NO NO we're not sick of it please keep them coming. Not only have we all enjoyed the donuts, but man I've seen some funny things and funny people in the line ahead of me. Like the Mom who wanted to buy 50 donuts and asked if they could put them all in individual bags and put the bags in the box for her. OK that wasn't so bad other than the line behind her. Or the guy who took 15 minutes for six donuts changing his mind about 100 times, now that one was SO FUNNY, I couldn't help but start laughing out loud, it was hilarious. And on and on, come on people get your sh*$ together LOL All innocent but funny, for a good laugh.

Emily C.

Yelp
The donuts were terrible worst donuts I've ever tried. The coffee was burnt and gross.
google avatar

Elyse M.

Yelp
Mighty o donuts are delicious! I love the maple bars, they are so chewy, sweet, and moist. Yummy! Their other donuts are also good. The shop is cute and has a decent amount of seating. I've been here at various times during the day and they seem to have a more limited supply later in the day, so come early to get the flavor you want!
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Went here to get a couple donuts and was hoping to find basic powdered donut with cream filling. No luck. Only had gourmet donuts with exotic ingredients and $$$$ prices. Got a lemon poppy seeds and a very black donut that had very little cream inside. Total bill for 2 donuts: $8.00. Taste was meh.

Robyn S.

Yelp
This was my first time in. I took a cinnamon twist and a coffee bomb to go. They were tasty but both of them were a little bit dry. It was 3PM so may be because it was so late in the day? I will give this place another try earlier in the day. The cashier was very friendly and had excellent customer service!! They are a little pricy, but it's hard to find organic and vegan!! Thank you!!

Yelp
Mighty-O is a unique donut. Yet, unique doesn't always mean great. I love donuts, I eat one every other day and when I get a chance to. I went in and asked for my classic favorite, a simple chocolate glazed donut. Mighty-O gave me a donut that looked like a typical donut with a darker look. As I took a bite, I was met with a blast of flavors - from clove, to cinnamon, to sugar, and a hint of salt. Definitely not what I expected in a classic chocolate donut. The pastry itself is fluffy, great bite, and nice consistency and chew throughout. The chocolate was delicious. However, the bread of the donut was a bit too much flavor for me. It was like it was baked in an assaulting amount of Christmas pastry ingredients and topped with chocolate. The creme filled donut was a similar experience, the creme was a bit off, sort of sour and heavily flavored. It's ok. Would not pick over other donuts.
google avatar

Pauline L.

Yelp
Donuts are forever ruined for me. The cake donuts here are the best. T_T P-: Went to the Dogs and Donuts Dash at Brooks down the street. They catered a wide selection of donuts from Mighty-O. I tried the plain unglazed donut. It was glorious in texture and flavor. They even had adorable mini donuts, lemon poppyseed, some kind of pink glazed donut I'm guessing is strawberry or raspberry, and more. I can't believe they're organic and vegan. Lord have mercy. Please bring Mighty-O to Eastside.

DJ K.

Yelp
April fools bring poop doughnuts. They are overpriced and look like diarrhea. They smooshed them all in one bag and refused to apologize for them being squished together. 5.00 for this? InSANE!
google avatar

Jacqueline W.

Yelp
my son has a dairy and egg allergy and it's really hard to find places where we can safely eat and enjoy together. I'm SOO happy we found out about Mighty O donuts. Not only is everything safe for him to eat, it's so so soo delicious. I can't wait to come back for their pumpkin flavors next month.
google avatar

Irena S.

Yelp
Really great donuts! I had my doubts about vegan donuts (really thought it would be super dry, etc.) but it was super good! My friends and I got an assortment (original glazed, rasberry, blueberry, poppyseed) and they were all pretty good! (I'm a very simple person - or what my friends call a basic bitch - so the original glazed was still my favorite) It's awesome that their ingredients are vegan - the donut tastes kind of like a cake instead of a donut, and it's pretty moist - not dry at all (which is always my biggest fear when it comes to donuts) Cute vibes here too - self-serve water available. Parking could be a struggle if it's a sunny day near green lake but not too bad! The only thing I wish is that the donuts were a little cheaper (because they're not enormous) - but I get it, sometimes you gotta charge what you gotta charge. Great service - the lady let us take our time, answered our questions, etc.
google avatar

Yen D.

Yelp
The people here are so friendly. Grateful the line was short enough even with social distancing so I could get these beauties for work. I've never seen such unique donuts like the blueberry fritter or french toast donut. Got whatever I had never seen before. My coworkers raved about the blueberry fritter. I got to try everything except for the fritter and lemon poppyseed. They all have great flavor, however they're too sweet for me, but my coworkers loved them. If I were to go back, I would get the french toast donut, even though it was a heavy cake donut, I loved the spiced cake.
google avatar

Robyn J.

Yelp
Every donut is a winner at Mighty-O! If no one told you, you'd have no idea these donuts were vegan- cake donuts are moist and just the right amount of dense. Plain cake donuts are perfectly sweet and topped/glazed donuts hit the spot when you need something extra decadent. Bonus- their mini donuts make the perfect party treat. I used them on a tiered stand instead of cake at my wedding and they were a hit!

Shay H.

Yelp
Decided to try these out - they are the best cake doughnuts I've personally ever had! I didn't try the yeast doughnuts so I don't know about those, but overall I loved the variety of flavors. My favorite was apple spice and the vanilla glaze.
google avatar

Julian S.

Yelp
"Because you are lukewarm...I shall spit you out" The donuts here taste a tad bit too healthy (not sweet enough). I wasn't sure if they were trying to be a donut or some healthy, low-sugar coffee cake (describing my lemon poppyseed donut). This donut had a nice flavor profile in itself (balanced between the brightness of the lemon and the unique poppyseed flavor), but was not sweet enough. Something is weird about the glaze here (maybe because it's vegan? No idea). $2.75 for a small donut is a bit pricey. Coffee was good though! Will eat these if they're brought into work, but defInitely won't buy on my own.
google avatar

Keith T.

Yelp
Being bad never tasted so good. Other than my sticker shock at paying $24 for a box of donuts this place is 5 star ALL THE WAY! You can definitely taste the quality ingredients that you are paying for. I actually just updated my review to a 5 star because you ARE getting what you pay for... an INCREDIBLE high quality product... and terrific service. I just couldn't pay for it as often as I wanted it if we lived here... LOL We tried the samples and thought everything was superb so we just created our own DONUT BUFFET for our family to munch on throughout our stay in Seattle. Some of Our Favorites (keep in mind they were all phenomenal) Chocolate Peanut Butter - peanut butter glazed on chocolate French Toast - spiced cake donut with maple glaze Cinnamon & Sugar - pretty self explanatory... just simple elegance here Raspberry Riot - as Joey Lawrence would say, "WHOOOOOAAAAH" Also need to mention their Apple Fritter separately as this specific treat is my GO TO DONUT wherever I ... er... go to... and it is also my personal mark of a great donut shop. The Verdict... NAILED IT!!!! (but not like those internet memes that say that... they really friggin' nailed it) Perfect crispness to the outside, especially around the corners and sweet, slightly gooey chunks of apple carefully crafted in throughout. Parking was a little tricky but there is free parking under the building around the back. Careful... the spots were tough enough to squeeze into when you arrive, but after you have a bunch of these donuts, it gets really tough to squeeze back out.

Yelp
Always good, solid, amazing donuts. Spendy but when you consider the quality it is right on point. Great for families and kids too.
