Delicious doughnuts with a light, airy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. My favorites were the Coffee Bomb and Lemon Poppyseed—highly recommend trying them! The coffee is also great, and the ambience is bright and inviting. A perfect spot to enjoy coffee and doughnuts while getting some work done.

Absolutely love Mighty-O Donuts! The quality of the donuts is incredible — perfectly soft, flavorful, and made with real ingredients. Whether you're craving a classic or something wacky, every donut tastes fresh and thoughtfully crafted. What really made my visit stand out was the amazing customer service. Chloe was so friendly and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. Her positive energy and attention to detail made the experience even sweeter. Highly recommend this spot — delicious donuts and top-notch service!

Google
One fine Saturday morning, we discovered this charming donut shop, and it set the perfect tone for the day. We tried a mix of coffees and a variety of delicious donuts, including the Apple fritter, a jam-filled delight, and a zesty lemon poppy seed. Each bite was a treat. The two friendly ladies serving us provided impeccable service, making our visit even more enjoyable. For a delightful morning treat and friendly service, this donut shop is a must-visit. It's the perfect way to kick off your Saturday with a smile.

Google
Honestly would recommend to anyone that wants a darn good donut. I just stopped in for my first time today while I was heading into work, and the staff was super friendly and super patient while they waited for me to make my decision on what I wanted. I didn’t try the coffee this time, but if the donuts are any indicator, I’m sure the coffee will be amazing too.

Kay

Google
Delicious, perfectly glazed yet guilt-free donuts. They didn't have a creme filled option which is my default choice, and they are a little pricey but it was a good treat. The barista on staff also helped about five people in the fifteen minutes I was here, very quick service. Could have been more friendly and cleaner inside. Sweet hang out or meeting spot, can't miss the O!

Truly delightful! I needed a little break from my morning and this was just what I needed. 💖🥹

Google
Stopped in with my son to grab donuts and coffee. The staff was friendly and struck up conversation with us. The coffee I had was Francesca’s recommendation: Hazelnut oat latte and it was delicious, not too sweet -it was perfectly balanced. Donuts: Nutty french toast, raspberry (ignore the bite taken out in photo 🤪), and coffee bomb. Delicious as well

Yelp
The best donuts in Seattle! Cake donuts are my jam and Mighty-O does them perfectly. The flavor, texture, ratio of glaze to cake, fried crunchy goodness (I could go on...)--all of it is top notch. Some of my favorites are pumpkin spice, French toast, and chocolate raspberry. My partner loves the apple fritter. The Ballard location is quite spacious, it would be a great place to work or read. The staff are super nice and helpful too--shout out to baristas Quinne and Anna! (One heads up, their default milk for coffee drinks is regular old cow milk. For years I thought Mighty-O was fully vegan, so was surprised to recently learn this.)

Yelp
I never come here bc imo the donuts are dry. However, my bf stopped there to snag a treat after I got a mammogram, bc getting those are awful. 1/17/25 about 1pm, I got a chocolate donut with "creme filling." $5 for a rotten donut! The creme was SOUR and curdled. Waste of time, waste of $5. No one cares about quality anymore! Do not go here. Not worth the upset stomach and possible sickness due to rotten food.

Yelp
The location of this donut shop is fantastic, though parking can be a bit tricky depending on the day and time. The staff is friendly and quick to serve, which makes for a good experience. They offer a great variety of donut flavors, but I found the batter to be a bit too cakey for my taste, just a personal preference. Still a good spot to grab donuts !

Yelp
When I frequented Mighty-O Donuts awhile back, it was usually at the Tangletown location (located between Wallingford and Green Lake). Originally, we headed down this way to an adjacent business but found it didn't open until 2pm. So we ended up next door at the Ballard Mighty-O Donuts instead. Passed on cupcakes, ice cream spot was closed, so going with doughnuts and coffee. Yes, both my brother and son were happy with this. The Bro had a vanilla nonfat latte and a peanut butter and chocolate doughnut. The Homie had a chocolate long john. Me - I had the glazed doughnut. It was a great way to wrap up our lunch get together. Service was okay, the staff seemed a bit stressed on this sunny Saturday. Maybe they had been pretty slammed earlier that morning. Doughnuts and coffee were on the pricier side, but that seems to be the new norm these days. This visit was an overall 2.5 rounded to a 3. Convenient and did the job for its hours and location. Would we or just me return...probably not.

Yelp
Best donuts I've ever had! Love that they also happen to be plant-based and non-gmo My favorite place to stop for a treat. Inside is wonderful and cozy too
google avatar

Pratima M.

Yelp
A bright, airy spot for donuts and coffee which is located a short walk from Downtown Ballard -- I've always walked by this place and decided to stop in for a sweet treat. There's plenty of seating inside, and we decided to enjoy our donuts there. They have all of the classic favorites, as well as their own spin on some popular flavors. For the price point, I felt like the donuts were a touch expensive for pretty basic flavors. I got a chocolate glazed and a maple bar, but neither knocked my socks off. Either way, it was a cute spot and I would stop by again (though likely not regularly)!
google avatar

Layne D.

Yelp
Cute place, friendly service, but the donuts were just okay. Especially for the price point, I'm not sure that I would come back. Our half dozen was $20. We tried two glazed donut os, a jam-o, chocolate raspberry, coffee bomb, and devils playground. The donuts themselves look great. The glazed were just okay. The coffee bomb wasn't necessarily giving me much coffee flavor, but it wasn't overly sweet. The jam-o wasn't very good but I did appreciate the filling (although there wasn't much of it). The chocolate raspberry was definitely the best, but not enough for me to crave it. Overall, maybe it was an off day?

N P.

Yelp
The chocolate raspberry and chocolate peanut butter donuts are worth trying / also vegan! The employee Aja was amazing and helpful.

Brittany S.

Yelp
Fantastic donuts!! The service is wonderful and I would highly recommend! The raspberry chocolate is my favorite.

Yelp
Free street parking on Sundays in Ballard enticed me to the Mighty-O Donuts on Northwest Market Street this morning, Sunday 7 May 2023. I had just visited Bergen Place, not many places were yet open at about 7:40 a.m. on a Sunday, and since parking was free I decided to see about getting a Mighty-O Donut. On entrance, I noticed no cash was accepted at this location. The donuts were on display directly inside the entrance. Seating was abundant, but I decided to go with a donut to-go. I was helped by a friendly and knowledgable worker, and selected a lemon poppy donut. The price was $3.50 and I paid (and tipped $0.50) via credit card. When I was living in South African for a little under half a year in 2012, I met people from multiple continents that held Mighty-O Donuts in high regard. The donut lived up to the hype. It was soft and crumbly, not too dense, and had an intense lemon flavor that was not jarring to my taste buds. Glaze speckled with poppy seeds topped the cake donut in a meticulous way and paired well with the cake donut flavor. The size of the donut I found to be satisfying.

Yelp
Dirty AF. I stopped in here for a cup of coffee and a donut and sat down. The benches were not wiped down and the I looked under them
google avatar

Kenneth K.

Yelp
Came here with my wife and two of her friends when visiting Seattle last month on an early Sunday afternoon before we saw Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at Majestic Bay. My wife had a latte and I had a matcha latte which were amazing. They were out of most of the donuts except the Naked Cake and French Toast donuts but they were the best donuts I ever had. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance is nice and rustic. We look forward to returning and trying more of their donuts.
google avatar

Sunny T.

Yelp
Love the organic donut option. Ordered a cinnamon and sugar donut that was very tasty but did feel like maybe it was a little too sugary perhaps? Not bad at all by any means. Service was quick and people were friendly. Would recommend for some organic donuts.
google avatar

Yelp
Had to make a quick phone call, so I was looking for a place to sit. Since I love donuts, I thought this might be a good place. I picked up an apple fritter and an original glazed. It was nothing to really write home about. The store also splits with Sweet Alchemy, which was closed when I got there. Half the floor being dim with the chairs up felt a little uninviting.
google avatar

Jenny J.

Yelp
My friends who live in Ballard prefer this place to Dough Boy, but I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. While this store is cute, I thought the donuts were only so so and nothing to write home about. They were kind of heavy in feeling, as the Raspberry Riot donut was kind of cake-like. I also felt that the Raspberry Riot wasn't big enough for its price. Many of the other flavors didn't appeal to me, as they were either chocolate-based or just boring (aka plain donut or glazed donut). The only other ones I'd try may be Lemon Poppyseed and French toast.
google avatar

Yelp
We walked with my husband. We decided to go for sweets and coffee. We ordered coffee and chocolate donuts. This is the coolest donuts we've had ever lived in America. And we've been living in America for a long time. And coffee was normal, because usually coffee is not very good in such places. The service was normal. You couldn't go to the toilet because for some reason it was closed. But definitely recommend this place. For 3.50 donuts, it's a bit expensive, but it's worth it.

Lily B.

Yelp
my favorite it the glazed twist with an Americano or Latte. Try to go early for the best selection. I love the seasonal Banana Bread also
google avatar

Brian E.

Yelp
For a vegan donut joint, pretty tastyyyyyyy. The Raspberry Riots are my jam, the mini-donut holes are a no-brainer
google avatar

J W.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. One of the employees was coughing all over the coffee station. Eek.
google avatar

Laurel H.

Yelp
Very disappointed. I ordered our favorite donuts- a maple bar and an apple fritter. I hadn't looked at the prices so was shocked by a $9.75 balance. It would have been OK if they had been acceptable donuts. My husband described the maple bar as a thick slice of bread with a thin layer of frosting that had almost no maple flavor. My apple fritter was doughy. McDonald's quality. Definitely neither was worth the calories.

Sandra L.

Yelp
Doughnuts are dry, pricing is high. Each topping is going to cost you, even if it's a slight drizzle. Left with one $3.50 doughnut... it wasn't the one I wanted... but I wasn't going to pay more than $3.50 for a single doughnut. Staff was ok, but it was uncomfortable trying to get information on pricing. I had to ask several times and then finally figured out the tiered pricing corresponds to each topping. Not everyone wants to pay $4.50 for a single doughnut in this economy, staff doesn't have to be snooty about it. -1 star for the dry doughnut. -1 star for the high price -1 star for the effort it took to figure out the unclear pricing of doughnuts with staff. -1 star for automatic 30% tip default request for putting doughnut in to go bag. (I tip 25% for full service when I dine in, expecting 30% to put one doughnut in a bag is a trend I don't appreciate in Seattle). **no cash excepted at this location**
google avatar

B T.

Yelp
Got the cake donut. Stale. Icing was just sweet and not flavorful. Very disappointing because the donuts all look so good. Also, the place more expensive. $3.85 total for one donut.
google avatar

Vicki S.

Yelp
Have you stopped in a MIGHTY-O DONUTS shop lately to try their latest Seasonal creation? I went to their Ballard shop this morning and got my favorite Americano and tried their Banana Bread Seasonal Donut. I agree, "Banana Bread" sounds pretty plain and boring but it tasted amazing and was far from boring! I love how this donut was wonderfully cakey, moist, and had that perfect not too sweet semi-crunchy brown sugar texture and banana taste in every bite. Their donuts are surprisingly plant-based and they use the best fair trade, organic, and non-GMO ingredients which makes me feel better about myself when choosing to eat a donut, lol. SWEET ALCHEMY ICE CREAM is right next door. You can order donuts á la mode at their Ballard shop. I can imagine eating this Banana Bread donut with a scoop of ice cream (like coconut) which would make this dessert taste even better and take it to the next level. Maybe next time! Unfortunately, it was too early for ice cream. Mighty-O has 5 shops in the Seattle area. Check them out!!!
google avatar

Bracken K.

Yelp
Pretty good vegan donuts! Will definitely come back for more. They have a pretty decent selection and the coffee drinks are also tasty. We gave some to our non-vegan friends and they had a great time. They didn't know the donuts were vegan until we told them. Yum!
google avatar

Rob E.

Yelp
WTF, who serves refrigerated donuts? The only thing mighty about Mighty O is the price.
google avatar

Anonymous ..

Yelp
$4.75 for a single donut Sorry, guys. Not paying that for one donut
google avatar

Kari D.

Yelp
Mighty-o donuts is a quaint little donut shop with pretty good cake donuts. I would definitely recommend the peanut French toast and the cookies and cream.
google avatar

Bret S.

Yelp
These aren't very good. I asked the person working there for her fav and she said she doesn't like donuts lol so maybe training to staff to recommend something even if it's a white lie, but they were friendly. I tried the lemon poppy, cinnamon French toast, raspberry and the maple bar. The donuts themselves taste all the same but the icing makes them taste different. The icing stays liquidy and tacky instead of that set glaze so it's unpleasant to eat. It also doesn't have enough icing so it's virtually like eating a faintly flavored roll of bread. My diet isn't restricted so I'm comparing these to donuts that aren't fill in the blank free. Them being $4.00 a donut is also nuts because they're so plain.
google avatar

Michelle Y.

Yelp
I was craving for a donut and was glad to find this place nearby. I ordered a traditional cinnamon sugar and my daughter had the sprinkles. Mine was a good solid donut but my daughter thought hers was too sweet. I ended up eating hers as well, but she was right, it was a little too sweet and I wouldn't be able to take it if I didn't have a cup of coffee with me.
google avatar

Carrie W.

Yelp
Nearly $5 for a small Donut and twice now when I've ordered a double shot Americano I get Drip coffee, grounds and all. Also if they think the customer is dumb and can't taste the difference between these two coffee styles then they are wrong.
google avatar

Kai E.

Yelp
ALL THE DONUTS ARE VEGAN?! COUNT ME IN. Also, the cold brew is very good and the staff is wonderful. If donuts were health foods, I'd be here every day!
google avatar

Kelly L.

Yelp
These are expensive non-donut donuts. They are vegan, which I didn't realize until I got home. I've had great vegan donuts in my day, but as these contained soy flour and straight soy products mess with my stomach, I decided not to eat mine. Glad I checked prior to taking a bite. My husband had the "coffee bomb" donut and said it was just "okay". The most jarring thing was the price, though. It cost me $7.10 for two donuts. If they were amazing, that would be one thing, but for these? Cannot justify returning.
google avatar

tony L.

Yelp
This organization seconds employees up for failure on April fools day. They advertised poop donuts, and then did not make enough. They sent their employees up for failure and difficult conversations with unhappy customers. In fact, they did not have enough donuts when the store opens.

Andres A.

Yelp
Love these donuts. So lucky to have this place in our neighborhood. We come here all the time and when family visits from New York they insist on getting these donuts multiple times.
google avatar

Katy H.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and it's only gotten more enjoyable. LET'S TALK DOUGH. The donuts themselves are good and there are plenty of options. My partner gets the apple fritter each time. The lemon poppy, coconut, and raspberry options won't let you down. I appreciate how there are always new seasonal flavors. Plus, they are vegan so I don't have to worry about milk setting off my lactose intolerance. I do miss their mini donuts though (Honestly, I think they were meant for dogs, but I ate them as a small snack for myself). A DELIGHTFUL ATMOSPHERE. The staff are always friendly. I love that the interior is shared by Sweet Alchemy ice cream (another great Ballard treat). There are good coffee and tea selections (specifically their jasmine tea is quite good). Oh! I haven't even mentioned all their items are compostable! Parking has never been a problem for me and they usually have tables and chairs outside. Plus, it's just fun to hop off the step through the big open wall after you've gotten your donut (you'll know what I mean when you stop by).

C C.

Yelp
Super friendly staff, giving a shout out to ABBY. Had the maple bar there and it was delicious, will definitely return and vibe there is great.
google avatar

Kaitlyn P.

Yelp
Simply the best! I've gone to Might-O more times than I should admit for a weekend treat but I'm always happy when I do. My all time favorite has to be the Raspberry Riot. I love switching it up and getting their seasonal like the Cookies and Cream pictured. As a vegan it's pretty cool to go to a place that doesn't advertise themselves as vegan so you can lure in your friends who may be turned off. I don't think anyone could ever tell. Each donut is moist, perfectly sweet, and uniquely flavored.
google avatar

Joe P.

Yelp
This is a really cool spot on the corner of 17th avenue and Northwest market Street. I was driving around actually looking for breakfast but couldn't pass this by so I stopped in.This is an organic certified bakery... Pretty cool to be able to say that. Anyway I love the lotsa chocolate donut I purchased it was fresh... just a great different taste and approach to this delicacy. They also serve organic drinks lemonades and orange juice along with coffees.
google avatar

Jeremiah J.

Yelp
I have had numerous bad interactions with employees being very rude about covid policies at the Ballard location in particular. This has turned me off of this location even though it is close to my home. We now go exclusively to green lake bakery, same policies just much better attitude.
google avatar

Jezebel P.

Yelp
BTW, they never did send a msg to "make this right". To be fair, I'd never eat here again, so it doesn't matter.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Great donuts, great coffee, but even better employees! Very welcoming and inviting. But seriously the donuts are great too
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Updating: This place happens to have vegan donuts as in they are dairy free but it's not a vegan spot. I can't not stomach the cost of ordering a latte with dairy free milk here anymore. I could go buy my own soy milk for the cost. I casually asked after the last price hike what was going on... and was reminded that they don't cater to vegans intentionally so the rest of their menu (coffee) doesn't cater to vegans either. Ok, bye!
google avatar

Wendy G.

Yelp
LOVE. My favorites are nutty chocolate and nutty vanilla. My husband got me a dozen Mighty-O donuts for my birthday (instead of a birthday cake), and I was so happy!!
google avatar

Madeline M.

Yelp
I'm no donut conossieur, I just know what I like. And MMM-MM-MMM these are freakin good. All of their donuts are vegan, I'm not vegan and I enjoy them immensely. I love the Grasshopper, personally. I also appreciate anywhere that has decent tea, since I can't drink coffee (waaah). Nom Nom, def bringing my friends here.
google avatar

Mark O.

Yelp
Seattle - Day 2 - Donuts. Banana bread donut (seasonal) - 4/5 French toast donut - 3/5 Texture - Moist Overall, "I'm a fan."
google avatar

Ligaya D.

Yelp
These are my favorite Donuts in Seattle. Of course I'm not supposed to eat gluten or sugar, but every so often I splurge on these because they don't have the other things I'm not supposed to eat- egg or dairy. These donuts are vegan. They have a large variety. My sons fave is the apple fritter, my daughters fave is the chocolate long John. I like the coconut one, chocolate with peanuts on top, and the chocolate peanut butter. It's true the people who work here aren't the cheeriest, but they're pretty quick. There's never much of a line and if you wait too long in the day they'll be out of some but there's always some left.
google avatar

Mackenzie C.

Yelp
Mighty-O is my favorite place to get donuts in Seattle. They're vegan, which may scare people away, but don't let it!! Their donuts are flavorful and moist, and they have a really good variety. The only donut I've ever tried here that I didn't like was their take on vegan Bavarian cream. My favorites are the chocolate raspberry and the grasshopper. Their coffee is also really good, and they have oatmilk!! They even take Amex :)
