Food was great and so was the koo laid. Our server had great personal skills as well. The owner was actually there checking in on people too which we love to see. I definitely recommend trying them out and I promise you won’t regret it

Don’t you dare miss it they’re about to open up. You gotta go get you a breakfast and everybody know you can’t get your breakfast better go get you a omelette. If you don’t like omelette you better go get you some chicken and waffles now you gotta put some flavor on those waffles like some strawberries and cream with some peaches of cream got a whole wide variety. Also, you better get you some fried chicken wings and get you some sauce OK I like the Parmesan garlic sauce but they got what they got and they got what they call mighty sauce so make sure you get you some mighty sauce oh yeah, and don’t forget you gotta get you some Kool-Aid. Everybody like the red me myself I like the great Don’t meet me there beat me there 😊

Hawaiian and barbecue wings are delicious and fall off the done!!! Those Carmel waffles are sooo soft and buttery. Not too sweet, just right. The apples aren’t fresh but still good none the less.

I sooooo hope this first visit wasn't a fluke. Fast friendly service (thank you Kayla), whoever the cook was at 3pm... was AWESOME. The chicken wings were fried to perfection...I was a little concerned because they were dark... but they were juicy and crunchy, like the chicken from the set ups at cabarets back in the day... decent size wings too. There was this wing sauce, i taste it and felt, the chicken was delicious without it... then i dipped a part of the wing in that sauce... they definitely knew what they were doing marrying those two! When I saw the portion I thought it was a bit too small... especially for the price (I have a healthy appetite), it was perfect! I got the peaches and cream chicken and waffles... when I say did not disappoint... even as a carry out! The only issue the cream was liquid by the time I made it home, which is only one exit away. Otherwise no complaints well worth my 21$ and I shall return. I think if their service and food is consistent, they need a larger sit down establishment, I would've loved to sit and enjoy my food, with a mimosa! My food was still hot and fresh when I made it home.

Came in for Mother’s Day , there were only 3 people sitting inside. We came in with a party of 4 , waited an hour for 3/4 of the plates. Waited another 10 & the fourth plate never came out. We ended up just paying for the 3 meals and leaving but the manager had a TERRIBLE attitude . No apology or discount whatsoever best thing they have is kool•aid. We won’t be back & yall shouldn’t go either

Could not wait to go here and I was not disappointed. Love the art work and beverage take out jar. The potatoes were seasoned so well. The wings and fruity pebbles waffles was good. I can not wait to go back

The food was ok the French toast was ok the eggs was ok the toast didn't have any butter and the grits was absolutely trash they were like soup they definitely didn't do a good job on those I'm not ordering from here again because of how crappy the grits they were horrible and just a lack of caring and I'm not supporting that

Drove all the way from lansing to try this place, and it did not disappoint!!! The chicken was so good, the potatoes and cheese were super flavorful, the waffles were so so good, everything was 10/10!!! you need to stop by and try thisss!!

I love this place I have been coming here for some years and never had any big problems. And if I did they always took very good care of me and made things right. I had the traditional breakfast with scrambled cheese eggs, turkey bacon, potatoes and added pancakes. Everything was good and very flavorful. I also enjoy the chicken and waffles with chicken strips instead of chicken wings (I'm not a fave of the chicken wings because I don't like my meat and bone that looks dark) service is the best she can do because it's usually just her taking care the front of the house. The ambiance is okay it's small but nothing bad. They do added on gratuity on all orders rather it's carry out or dine in. But check them out whenever in the Detroit area. Definitely a hidden gem

Found this place off Yelp ...had taste for chicken and waffles Ordered the waffles and six garlic Parmesan wings ...the wings were very tasty (whole wings) and the waffles were very tender and not tough Everything was freshly made and tasted great Also the customer service was excellent I highly recommend this Resturant

Food was fire. I got the Oreo waffles with lemon pepper wings and some garlic parm wings. They fried that chicken to perfection And the waffles were fluffy dripping with chocolate whip cream and Oreos....man‍ Chill vibes inside. I thought it was cool they turned cartoons on for my son. Waitress was very nice. We definitely are coming back. I don't know how this place has such low reviews. Should be 4.9 easy. Hidden gem.

The chicken was terrible, the fries were even horrible. This use to be a good place to eat. Even when we called to talk the person who I talk to their attitude was nasty. People all ways want us to support Black business and this is why things don't last. You guys should be closed in a year. I know I'm going to tell 10 people and they going to tell 10 people not to support Mighty Wing Shop.

Food is great service is ok but because the food is awesome the service can really past.The Managers attitude was stinky she had no customer service..

Blind try from Yelp reviews after another chicken and waffles place we were planning to go to was closed for remodeling. The waitress was a definite plus. The name of the cashier on the receipt was Harley, so I'm hoping that was the waitress so I can give her proper credit. She was fantastic! I was impressed that she let my daughter take her koolaid to go in the mason jar it came in....until I checked my receipt later and realized I paid $6 for the koolaid . The owner popped in and went around to several tables to say hi. Nice little neighborhood place. Decent waffles. Daughter loved the wings with garlic Parmesan.

Not like it used to be. Came back here since the pandemic and got the mighty wings and it was not as good as it used to be. I don't know I believe it was the signature sauce but any who I was disappointed especially due to the fact they charge 24$ for a 10 piece wing probably maybe I'll come back to try the waffles idk. But I used to love they mighty wings the signature sauce used to be soo good.

My husband and I received rave reviews about the Mighty Wing Shop. We heard they had the best waffles, pancakes and wings. Because I'm vegetarian, I'm very particular about what I eat. I heard they had eggs and seafood, so I was inclined to try them out. Upon entering, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were definitely impressed with the service and the attentive staff, they were very accommodating. Looking at the menu, It took me a while to figure out what I could eat. It's not vegetarian friendly at all. Luckily, I eat eggs and seafood and was considering their veggie omelette. I also asked about their catfish. Turns out for $10, you only get one filet and I didn't think that was enough. Which is why it surprised me that I chose the shrimp and grits. I just knew the the Jumbo Shrimp would be filling...I was so wrong. When I got home with my order (we ordered takeout) I was so surprised to see how small and dainty the Jumbo shrimp looked. I scrambled me a few eggs when I got home to help fill me up. The shrimp was cajun as I requested, but they tasted very tough, like they were cooked too long . So disappointing and a waste of money. My daughter order mini tenders, which were pretty big for her, none the less she loved them perfectly priced at $5, you can please you kid and your pocket. My husband order 15 wings and devoured 6 before I even sat down. I asked how they were and he said they were pretty good. Aside from them not having much seasoning on them, he had no other complaints. Overall, this may not have been a hit for me, but it seems my family were satisfied.

First time coming here after visiting from san diego, ca. This place reminds me of roscoe's chicken in L.A. I ordered their cinnamon crunch french toast, and an order of chicken and fruity pebble waffles. My first impression of the chicken was that it was extremely hot, like a few minutes to eat it after they serve it to you and make sure that if you choose the wings to bring them apart so that the chicken can internally cool down. I nearly burnt the roof of my mouth. But once i dug into those first several bites, i than thought to myself.... this chicken is fuego , its so juicy, and moist and had great taste to it. Next i tried the cinnamon crunch french toast and i thought the cereal provided a great crunch. Its super sweet and you get the french toast is pretty thick so i suggest sharing this dish with another person. Also i highly suggest NOT being heavy handed with the syrup when eating this dish. That made the french too sweet to the point where i couldnt eat it anymore. Next the fruity pebbles waffles i enjoyed a little better than the french toast. I believe they apply a strawberry syrup to waffles which elevates the overall taste. Unlike other places that i have tried which incorporate cereal into their waffles/pancakes/french toast, i enjoyed the fact that they baked the cereal ingrediants into the dish versus placing it on top. I this created an enjoyable dynamic between both components of the dish. All in all, i enjoyed my first time dining experience at this establishment. I would recommend for others to try their meals for yourself if you are big fan of chicken and waffles for breakfast. Sidenote: this place can get really packed fast on the weekends which can lead to slower service so keep in mind that it may take sometime for your waiter to assist you.

I purchased the waffles and wing combo. The food was real good. The staff wasn't the friendliest. I would recommend ordering before you get there. It appeared that customers in the restaurant were waiting for a while before getting there food.

I walked in the same time as a man. He chose to dine in. I also wanted to dine in but thought it better to get my food already in a to go box. I ordered and tipped, the waitress whom may be part owner(unsure). She had a attitude and was yelling & cussing at the cooks in front of everyone. I sat and began to eat. She says nothing to me until the man is done eating and two women walk in to also dine in. She tells them she not taking dine in bc she doesn't have a waitress. Then looks at me to tell me that next time I have to ask to dine in bc this isn't Coney Island it's an actual restaurant. So only the man gets to dine in? It's an actual restaurant but you're cussing out staff in front of customers?? As far as food the chicken was great! and red velvet waffles were nasty, tasted like an ingredient wasn't supposed to be in there. Customer service 0! Wish I could take my tip back.

I would give this place one star but because the food is eatable I'll give it two. I got the side of potatoes, red velvet waffles and 6 chicken wings. The food was very bland and didn't taste like it had a piece of seasoning (something like a dash of pepper then fried). The potatoes look very good and looked as if it had a bunch of flavor but once I bit into I thought I had COVID for a second. Also I added on a side of strawberries and cream which had about two strawberries cut up with a whole lot of whip cream for $3 ( a waste )

Irritated at the fact they say they are open today here it is almost 2:00 on a Tuesday and they are closed no heads up via Instagram or Facebook! Where is the customer service on all of this highly annoyed

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout with the chicken omelette, home fries, and pancakes... except we received chicken omelettes, home fries, and TOAST with SYRUP. What kind of mess is that?? We are both very upset as we were looking forward to having pancakes. My boyfriend received irritated customer services upon his arrival to pick up our food which makes things worse. The omelette and home fries were delicious, but not having the pancakes really dampened the mood.

Great tasting food. I got the chicken and waffles delivered via DoorDash, but they didn't give me any utensils, sauce for the chicken, or even butter or syrup for the waffles. You can't forget the syrup guys.

I was in the area and I'm always interested in a good chicken and waffle place. I'm glad I came. The prices were reasonable. I got 6 whole wings and a whole waffle for $10! Can't beat that. The chicken was seasoned and the waffle was buttery and crispy. The staff was nice and professional and the manager was personable. I will definitely be back!!

I ordered this via door dash and the food was horrible. Everything is old the chicken is overcooked and cooked in dirty grease. The fries are old and some fries are undercooked. I would not recommend this place.

While in my old neighborhood, I decided to stop by. Ordered the chicken & waffles with tenders and a red velvet waffle plus a side of bacon. Absolutely great flavor. Chicken was seasoned well without being salty. Even enough room inside to dine in, if you'd like. I would have given 5 stars. But, my phone order was delayed because it was not actually entered until I arrived to pick it up 15 minutes later. I do appreciate the waitress apologizing and offering me a soda on the house for my inconvenience. Despite this, I'll be back.

Me and my my lil lady fell in love with this cozy and very friendly spot.. The chicken and waffles were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.. The wings were from the fryer right to my table still sizzling and crispy.. The peaches n cream waffles were hot, fluffy, and delicate with a touch of vanilla topped with lots of hot and juicy peaches!!!.. We've been 3 Sundays in a row and counting!

I have eaten at this restaurant multiple times and ordered delivery from here twice. I always get the chicken and waffles with a different specialty waffle. The food is always amazing in restaurant, but when ordering for delivery, the food isn't as good. They put less toppings on the waffles when going for delivery. I'm very disappointed with the service.

Mighty Wings has great breakfast and or brunch. The fruity pebbles French toasts and the Mighty Wings and sauce is pretty good as well. It's a pretty open space so social distancing can be eliminated quickly.

I ordered chicken and waffles, nothing to be excited about. The service was good and expedient I was in and out in less than 15 mins as a walk in.

I do like their chicken and fries and lemonades. But this was my first time getting breakfast from Them and i was very disappointed the potatoes weren't cooked all the way and they tasted weird and i asked for my egg over hard and it was still runny, i had to cook my egg the rest of the way... i won't get breakfast from them again but i will get lunch and dinner

Girlfriend and I were endlessly scrolling through the lists of restaurants in search of maybe finding a spot that cure the hangryness we were experiencing. She stops, turns to me with the light hitting her eyes just right and says, "omg, this place is it!" We got one look at the menu and knew we were in good hands(; the chicken and waffles were tender, seasoned perfectly with a crunch you could hear for a mile away! The waffles were a little airy but paired well with the chicken. The corned beef omelette and roasted potatoes are something that will rock your socks off and have you wanting not only seconds but thirds as well Will be a regular here(;

I ordered the 10 piece wing special with the garlic parmesan fries. I got half lemon pepper, and half hot (buffalo) with a mason jar of Kool aid. First off, I'm from the south so the mason jar with the Kool aid made me a fan. The wings were crispy, and were WHOLE wings, which a lot of wing places don't give you. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the area was pretty cool as well. I frequently travel to Detroit to visit my in laws, and I've always had trouble finding a good wing place. This one was the best I've had thus far. The garlic parm fries are AMAZING. Will definitely return in the future.

The fruity pebbles waffle is amazing and we had great customer service. I give them 5 stars. I will come back to try the other flavor waffles.

I pass this place going home everyday so this week I decided to stop in. Pros: It was not over crowded. The food was prepared fast. Service was okay, not good or bad. Parking was easy. Cons: Expensive. $15 for flavored one waffle and 6 small wings. $3 SMALL Koolaid- the larger one is $6. The chicken was very greasy. I was able to blob mine with a paper towel. The waffles are pretty flat too so it's not fluffy like a Belgium waffle that's typically served with chicken and waffle combos.

Food is inconsistent . I've had really good chicken and sometimes it seems like it's left over from the day before . I would give it another try

I've ordered from Mighty Wing Shop twice now. First, i got the mighty tenders and fries, off of doordash by the way. They came dipped in barbecue sauce, I didn't want it like that, but ate it anyway because i didn't want to be a pain. The tenders were okay nothing too special. The garlic Parmesan fries were not my favorite. The second time, i got the mighty tenders and the fruity pebbles waffles. Again, dipped in barbecue, i thought it was a mistake the first time. It doesn't mention that they come dipped in barbecue sauce, it says seasoned battered and fried. The fruity pebble waffles are also okay nothing special either, soggy and not presented as pretty as on instagram. I wouldn't recommend.

I have had mighty wings food before today. They made some changes that are great. Loved the new dipping sauce for the wings with the waffles. The chicken omelette was so good. It had the bell peppers and onions inside the egg mix and chicken and cheese folded into the omelette middle. Loved this. The dipping sauce is worth buying in its own right. Sell that dipping sauce. Wish I took pictures just open the bag and inhaled the meal.

Tried this place based on Yelp reviews and I wasn't too impressed, I got fried catfish and grits. The batter didn't stay on the fish at all, literally came completely off. Staff was nice, be sure to ask for utensils!

Great little gem with right out of the fryer wings and a very friendly staff. French fries are just right. First time here, won't be my last.

If I could give this establishment a negative star I would. My boyfriend and his friends spoke so highly of this establishment, so today Sunday 21st around 12:35pm we arrive to Might Wing. The service was poor and disgraceful, we sat and patiently waited for our food to arrive. Which never did. As we sat in the dining room it began to fill up, that's excepted. A couple sat right behind us, they came in At least 10-15 minutes after us. This young lady was a family member or a employee of some sort because she walked behind the counter and went into the back to the employee only section. Around 20 minutes later they received their food before us. A gentleman came from the back, not sure if he's the owner or the manager. He came out speak to two tables. He wore an all grey sweat suit. Sat and spoke with a table of church mothers. He left and grabbed the young lady from behind us and went to the back to speak with her. While the time continues to tick away still NO FOOD. Our server was DW young lady in a stripped dress and when she came to the table we were on our way to get ready to leave. She stated " your not leaving are you " we informed her that we've been here a little under a hour. Around 45 minutes or more and still no food. Unacceptable. She apologized and informed us that our order has another 2 minutes in her words. She went to the window and asked the cook in the back short gentleman how long on her order. He proceed to yell about someone else's as been waiting 20 minutes and she stated that we've been waiting for a hour. He continued to yelling "if you don't like how it, come back and help then." This was THE LAST DANG ON STRAW, I wasn't waiting one more dang on minute for this RUDE, Unappreciative and Disrespectful establishment. So we had to leave. An HOUR. seriously it Chicken and Waffles. Yes I WAS here to support a black owned business but I will not support ignorance and rudeness. I wouldn't tolerate this from any other establishment and I'm not going to tolerate it from you. If that's the way you do business you won't last long.

Very friendly staff and amazing food. Everything was delicious the homestyle potatoes (tastes like they were made at home)and lemonade had a OMG factor for me. I had an omelet and French toast. I going to try and he waffle next time I visit. Customer service at its best!

I'm giving them only a 2 because this is the 3rd time I've received old tasting food. My first order was the bomb, waffle, tenders and garlic parm potatoes. My second order the potatoes were totally old and not edible. My 3rd time was suppose to be a charm but my tenders, suppose to be the best part of the meal right, hard and re warmed and still was luke temp when I received them. Not to mention I stopped in a month ago and got potatoes again and dumped them in garbage when I got home.. absolutely old and horrible.

I almost don't want to write this review in fear of this place becoming too popular!! The food is amazing, the service is great and I'm so glad they are open!! I had the wings and waffles and they are delish. My dad has the salmon, grits and pancakes and ate them all and he hardly ever finishes all his food. My bro and sis n law had the tenders and waffles and devoured it! Please try this place out - you won't be disappointed!!

The service is fast, food is reasonably price and taste great. The wings are seasoned to perfection and crispy just right. Delicious flavored waffles. I visit there at least twice a month. Service and food always good.

I don't have much positive to say so I won't say much...I got French toast and my daughter got a waffle...the waffle was soggy but edible...the French toast was burnt and too hard to eat...seems like people love them or hate them...may give them one more try as they are a black owned business and this may have just been an off day...

Where to begin. First we walk in and it takes them about 10 minutes to ask us what we want to drink and order. We order our food at about 12:50pm, we did not get our food until 1:40pm. ALMOST AN HOUR, and it wasn't even that great. The tenders had no seasoning and waffle tasted dry and clumpy. And to top it off, my friend asked for ranch and she never brought it. No waitress ever came to ask if we needed anything else and it was just a terrible experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I try and support the local businesses as much as I can but this was ridiculous. I will not be coming back.

Went to order food at location they literally was doing everything but taking orders ... no way a person should have to wait 15mins to place an order... not to mention the ladies who discussed personal info while I continue to wait!!! They are very unprofessional... and if you trying to support black businesses!!! This another reason why it's hard!! This was truly a terrible experience.......

Pretty good food clean Establishment. Staff could be a lil more informative when answering question on certain food. I've only had the lemon pepper wing w/ garlic Parmesan fries.

I have to say I am fully satisfied. the staff are polite and the food was soooo of soooo good. the potatoes/ pile up was great. it was cooked right. I was truly happy they have turkey sausage and bacon on the menu, which you never can find. I'm from California and am a truly satisfied customer. I definitely recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a great breakfast/brunch or great meal.
