The atmosphere of the place was excellent. The service was great and everyone was friendly. The live band playing was very good. Plenty of seating inside and out. Beer selection was great. Fries were very tasty. The spicy pepperoni was not as spicy or flavorful as I thought it would be but it was still good. Great place to come have a few beers.

Google
Passing through Portland and stopped here. Great decision. Beer is outstanding...at least the Patio Pale. One of the best pales I've ever had. The Buffalo Chicken wrap was way beyond what i would expect at a brewery. Highly recommend this place. Nice vibe inside with solid ambient style music. Just wasn't expecting anything close to this when I randomly pulled in! :)

Google
We’ve been here a few times. Always good. This time we had the root beer they recommended- it was delicious! We ordered the Italian sandwich and their shoestring French fries. So good! Homemade ranch for dipping. And we took a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza- 3 meat and the Vegetarian w/feta and garlic base not tomato sauce. Both were fantastic! I think I even liked the veggie better!

Google
Decent food. Pizza is good. But their Hawaiin has some over the top jalapeños. Its a good twist with a fiery punch in the mouth. Their beer on tap I tired was okay. Wish they had a stout on tap when I was there. Tried a couple of IPAs and they were cirusy and refreshing. Good place to try at least once.

Google
Food was great. Stopped in on a Friday evening and it wasn't too busy. Took maybe a little long to get our food but we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of food and how good it tasted. Would return 👍

Google
Strange location, but worth finding. Excellent calzone, and I was hesitant about a brewery atmosphere but the live band and high ceilings made it not too noisy and pretty pleasant. Also, great drinks on tap!

Google
Highly recommend visiting Migration Brewery in Gresham. !!!! Great beer selection. The food menu was delicious. Authentic brewery atmosphere and great stuff. Amazing atmosphere in our wedding reception. Extremely grateful for their services, planning, dedication and suggestions for menus, quantities and drinks to serve for our big group. The entire Migration Brewing-Gresham team, made our Wedding the most memorable moment of life for family and friends. Excellent variety of food, beers and non-alcoholic drinks were served with the highest quality, dedication and excellent service from everyone. Always with a great standard of customer service and the highest level of relationship between quality and prices. All of our guests were fascinated with the great taste and quality of the food served. They provided us with the space and gave all the support to decorate with every detail for our wedding. Our event was unforgettable, thanks to all of you. Highly recommended for events, meetings and special moments.

A great hidden place that serves great pizza! I would recommend a stop.

Yelp

Yelp
Our favorite brewery in Gresham! Beer is good, food is good and the service is always on point. It's a good place to bring my kids because it's not crowded and we can always find a table for all of us easily.
google avatar

Yelp
Totally bumped into this place by accident. Lots and lots of parking. It's a big space, they had a nice outdoor tented area but it was too cold to be outside. You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. We ordered shoestring fries which were good, artichoke dip & chips was delicious. We also ordered a pizza, I wasn't such a fan, I like a firmer crust, this was just floppy and a little undercooked for my taste. Beer was yummy.

Yelp
Gave Migration Brewing another whirl recently. This time at their Gresham location. Nice, spacious taproom that can take plenty of people or even host special occasions to some capacity. I had a wonderful Imperial Stout here. The Mexican Chocolate BA Westward Frankie is what I had and it was wonderful! Rich, dark, chocolaty with a hint of cinnamon and a slight kick this stout has everything going for it and easily qualifies in the "Mexican Chocolate" category. This beer has a higher ABV and so you serving is a tulip glass which is more than enough for this chocolate drinking decadence.

Yelp
We stopped in for a beer on our way home after hiking out in Gresham. The inside is pretty big with plenty of room for large groups, and they have a small patio with picnic tables & tent awnings for coverage out front along their parking lot. They are in an industrial/commercial area along the highway, so don't expect a scenic view. We only had a beer & didn't eat there, but they do serve pizza & calzones, they just don't have any gluten-free options for those.
google avatar

Mike K.

Yelp
What a cool place... They were doing trivia the night I was in, which looked fun. The atmosphere is light and festive. The building is really cool and it has a unique location. The food menu is a little bit limited, so I had their calzone. Their calzone is a really nice size and delicious. The service is very limited so you have to order at the counter. But it is a cool place to eat in that area.

Marina S.

Yelp
Burnt pizza tastes like ashes. The garlic knot was also too heavy on the garlic probably would have been decent if they didn't nuke the pizza.
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
Yet another industrial brewery with uncomfortable seating, obnoxiously loud pop music and expensive ($8!!) beers. I miss Portland.

John E.

Yelp
Beer is excellent as is the Food and service.... Nice atmosphere with lots of TV's and large tent for outdoor seating...
google avatar

Ryan H.

Yelp
SOMF their pizza slaps! The veggie pizza was delish and the ranch perfection. Also loved the vibe inside! Worth a visit if you are staying in the area
google avatar

Joe B.

Yelp
When you head to a microbrewery you expect a variety of beers - brown ales, red ales, IPAs, marzens, porters, stouts etc. This brewery serves almost exclusively IPAs
google avatar

Yelp
Good food and outstanding beer. Perfect after a long day of traveling and geocaching.

Mellissa H.

Yelp
They let us host an end of year party here for my work...service was great, the space was perfect, the food was delicious, and the beer was awesome. I'll definitely be back with friends!
google avatar

Natasha K.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely delicious! Tasty pizzas and calzones, HUGE plate of nachos. You always leave here satisfied. Service is always friendly and super fast. Sometimes the food is ready before we leave even find a spot to sit! I will admit that the prices are rich for this to be a usual hangout spot but a great option for a bunch of friends to meet up and share some apps. The beers are just okay. I wouldn't go out of my way for them, especially for the price points but I'd still for sure come back for the food!
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
The food was very good, but also very expensive for what we got. They had some good brews and it's a nice atmosphere. We just came thinking the focus would be on the beer and we're surprised how expensive the pizza and sandwiches were. The staff was a pretty detached, but I think maybe that's a Portland thing. We weren't disappointed, and would go back, it just wasn't the pricing structure we are used to from breweries in Montana.

Mike B.

Yelp
Great beer and pizza. A bit slow on the pizza, but it was late evening. More tune to enjoy beers!

Yelp
Like salt much? Everything I ordered from here on a recent visit was too salty. Couple with that, their meatball sub/sandwich was beyond mediocre. It was disheartening to shell out $$ and have such substandard food. I guess I should be happy this exists in the neighborhood, but cmon, just try a little bit to not suck.
google avatar

Christy H.

Yelp
This is a perfect location for this area. There isn't much around Wilkes neighborhood that isn't some type of chain so this is a huge deal for everyone around here. A hidden gem. I can only speak for the food here. There is pizzas, salads, and sandwiches. They also have calzone, pretzel, and bread knots. The place is large with about 10 picnic tables out front. Plenty of space and room to expand. The service was slower than I would have liked. The food took a long time to be delivered. I will say it was worth the wait. The meatball sandwich was fresh. They make the balls in house. Good flavor. Quality cheese. Decent marinara. I ordered fries. They were shoelace. Seasoned. Tasty. Pizza was a meat pie. Delicious! Thin crust, wood fired. Wonderful. I'll come back again just hope speed of getting food out improves. Maybe it was an off day.
google avatar

Bob S.

Yelp
$11 for a 6 inch Hawaiian pizza yes, a 6 inch, with 9 pineapple tidbits, maybe an ounce or two of pulled pork, and hard to see or taste the cheese, disappointing. $16 for a meatball sub and french fries that were mediocre at best. $4.50 for a half pint of beer. We really wanted to like this place. Customer service was friendly though.

Yelp
We stopped here for a late dinner and drinks. Big parking lot. Inside and outside seating. Nice big "hall" space inside. You order at the bar, but they bring you your food to the table. Lots of house brewed beer to choose from. The menu is largely centered on pizza (and that is a great thing for me) and salads, though they do have some sandwiches and wraps. No real gluten free options (except the salad). The pizza was very good. Cooked perfectly. Great topping choices, and a good amount of them. The crust is soft and slightly chewy...and incredibly tasty. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Came in with 10 people on a Tuesday afternoon. You order everything from the counter including beer and food. Pizza and beer were decent. Nothing to write home about but overall pretty good. Pizza came out within 15 minutes, but as the line backed up to the counter, it took each of us 10 to 15 minutes of standing in line for every beer that was ordered for the people in our group. My issue is they charge you an automatic 20% gratuity for a large party. Standard yes in an actual restaurant that provides you with table-service. But extremely out of line for a serve yourself establishment. The 20% automatic gratuity was never disclosed to me until I was presented with the bill. A shady business practice at best.

Yelp
I'm not quite sure how I missed this spot but thankfully I found it during a recent search for wood fired pizza. We travel through the Gresham area at least once a month and we don't always want to drive all the way to Portland when we are in the mood for a good meal. Finding something good in this area has been very hit or miss but this time it was a home run. The Brewery is located in an industrial park.. very large and cavernous. Yet despite it's size it has a small neighborhood vibe and is dare I say quite charming. I for sure give major props to gentleman working the tap room and taking orders. He was super knowledgeable about the beers on tap and his demeanor in general was chill and inviting. It for sure set the tone for our meal and pretty much everything after that was on point. We ordered two of their darkest beers.. both were pleasant.. great depth of flavor and complex. The pizza.. I can't tell you how many bad versions of wood fired pizza I have tried in this area and thankfully their pizza did not disappoint. The dough was warm and soft, crust was crispy and fresh.. it wasn't overly dressed and the toppings were spot on. So happy to have a legit go to spot now and we will be back.

Charlie K.

Yelp
AVOID ...Ordered a Hawaiianish pizza which was a disappointment and a gigantic neckbeard yelled at our table for laughing. The beer isn't worth coming here and the staff is ridiculous.
google avatar

Melanie T.

Yelp
Not really an exceptional vibe here because the space is big and open without any flair. After looking over the menu I realized there are very little options for vegetarian or vegan dishes. We ordered bread sticks with marinara... they still put parmesan on them and that's a no no for me. So, it's close to our home & we'll check it out in a few weeks - hoping for improvements to the menu. The breadsticks and marinara were super good though!

Yelp
Take a pass on this location. We love their beer but the food was pretty awful and the service was virtually nonexistent. We had a party of 6 in a completely empty brewery on Sunday afternoon and waited over 45 minutes for food. We sat inside because the tables in the tent outside are directly next to the very noisy freeway. Everything is self service, including water, silverware, bussing your table... and apparently this also means no one will check on you during the meal either. Even in an empty restaurant. The Buffalo wrap was SO spicy it was almost inedible (and I like spicy stuff) and the nachos were some of the worst we've ever had - and the first nachos I've ever seen which don't come with cheese. Everything else was fine, I guess, but we will not be back. Very disappointed in our experience of a place with such amazing beer.

Yelp
Migration Brewing has a wide variety of excellent beer. The atmosphere reminded me of traditional microbreweries when I moved to Portland 25 years ago. Big, open, industrial design with a couple of dart boards. Tables nicely spaced for Covid concerns. They have pizza and a menu of other choices. We didn't care for the nachos: "Tillamook queso" that seemed like thin Cheez Whiz and "creme" that was very "lite" sour cream squeezed from a bottle, perhaps? Next time we'll try the pizza. If they serve pizza, they must have real cheese in the kitchen. We recommend it for the nachos. Tons of parking and outdoor seating as well as lovely ac inside.

Christy J.

Yelp
All you need to know regardless of COVID. We sat at a table with a view into the kitchen. I watched an employee in a green t-shirt and jeans open a bag of buns, no gloves, pull one out, close bag and put away, then wipe his hands on his jeans. He then proceeded to handle the bun again and keep working. He never washed his hands. I can see two sinks. He never washed his hands........ he is not wearing gloves. Two of the other staff have gloves on......

Rik L.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I love Migration. I regularly visited the Glisan location before I moved out of PDX proper and was always impressed with the beer, service and food. The location in Gresham had the same great beer and service I'd come to appreciate, but the food was a huge miss. We ordered the wedge salad, chicken nachos, and kids grilled cheese. The wedge salad wasn't a wedge salad. It was a chopped salad, and for $10, there was not a whole lot of salad to be enjoyed. The nachos had nearly no cheese and the chicken was served in huge, cold chunks tossed on top of the chips as an afterthought. The "kids" "grilled" cheese though. The grilled cheese was ridiculous. The grilled cheese sandwich was served on a ciabatta roll. You may ask yourself, "how can you grill a ciabatta, a bread that is pretty much entirely crust?" The answer is, you can't. What you get is a cold ciabbata roll with melted cheese in the middle. How do they melt the cheese if it's not grilled? I'm assuming a microwave? And have you ever tried feeding a child a sandwich comprised of 70% crust? Let me tell you, it doesn't go over very well with the kid. Migration Gresham still gets 3 stars because the beer and service are great. Just stay away from the food.

Yelp
What a delicious surprise! We wanted a brewery serving good food, we found it! Don't let the fact it is tucked in an industrial park fool you. Beer & cider: selection of beers strong on IPA, weak on darker brews. Excellent beer selection! Cider: only one offered: Rev Nats Cider, excellent taste, 5%. Food: you won't go wrong with anything coming out of their kitchen. Pizza crust is worth fighting over, pulled pork was tasty, rich, salad greens fresh, crisp, dressed with delicious vinaigrette. Slice Pizza & Greens best deal around for those lite eaters. Blue cheese dressing excellent, my pizza was house special pie: broccoli, artichoke hearts, mushrooms & bacon . Five stars! When you are searching for delicious food that offers their own brews, Migration tops them all! The staff is awesome!! Trust me, after 4 hrs shopping at IKEA, this find was awesome.
google avatar

Jadyn N.

Yelp
Pretty good place to hang out and have a beer or cider with some friends. They sell pizza and nacho and stuff like that here. It was nice and big open space. The service was good. Lots of parking. Just a little odd location. It located next to a lot of factory and near the I84 freeway. They can accommodate lots groups here.
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
We tried this place out for lunch for our office. It was close by and the prices were pretty decent - $15 or less a person. I tried the chicken Caesar wrap with a side salad - $11. I wish I would've taken a photo the food was delicious! The wrap was a good size and definitely filling. There was tons of chicken they definitely didn't skimp on that. The salad was great - spinach, arugula, radicchio with a great mustard vinaigrette that honestly would go amazing on nearly anything. Their menu isn't huge but their quality is very good, and definitely worth trying out.
google avatar

Annie H.

Yelp
Love the beer selection here! Food and service were also great. My friends and I ordered a Margherita pizza, fries, and artichoke dip to share. Everything was delicious. We had a great time here. Definitely coming back.

Aya N.

Yelp
I don't even know where to start. First, choices was 6 or 18 slices. I got 4. Next just look at the crust. Hard as rock. I get it it's 'homemade' or used 'openfire' but seriously? I didn't ask for burnt pizza and definitely not extra burn
google avatar

Josie G.

Yelp
All 3 stars are for their beer, I've really liked all the beer I've tasted here - especially the Hazy IPA (try it - it's seriously delicious!) Ok now for the "restaurant" side of things. It's one of those places where you order at the counter, wait for them to bring food for you, get your own water, bus your own table etc. I don't mind that, in fact sometimes I prefer it. However it could just be that this place is newer, but when there's a long line - it moves verrrrrry slowwww. So you're just, like, standing around for what feels like forever. And honestly, the atmosphere is awful. It's like a loud, echoing cafeteria. It's not inviting, it's really bright, if it's on the crowded side you really gotta shout to other people at your table to be heard and I'm not a huge fan of that. Really hated the nachos but other people at my table seemed to like them ok. The garlic fries ROCKED. All the food was expensive. Not a lot of options for cheap sides or snacks while you sip on beer, which is something I really prefer. The pizza is kinda New York style thin crust and is pretty good. Overall - eat somewhere else, come here for the beer!
google avatar

Jeremy G.

Yelp
We have tried to come to Migration twice. On the first visit they had half of the seating area closed due to a private party. The rest of the tables were occupied and it was standing room only, so we left. On our 2nd visit it was much of the same; they had the biggest table reserved for a party and the rest of the place was packed. A long line to order and nowhere to sit isn't a good combination, so we left again. Their menu and drink options sounded intriguing and we liked that it was close. But there simply isn't enough seating (a lot of wasted space imo) and we're not going to wait in a long line just to eat standing up.
google avatar

Humam T.

Yelp
This is brand new Brewery in Gresham. Extend an industrial area on Frontage Road. It's very easy to miss. The beer selection is awesome. They also have a growlers for $6. They don't have a lot of beer in bottles and cans yet. We managed to find vegan options by working with the nice chef. However we find out the tasty breadsticks have cheese inside of them. What a disappointment. The place itself is on the plain side, but that doesn't phase me.
google avatar

Monica S.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday early afternoon. Gal at the front was extremely helpful and patient, so much so we didn't even realize there was a huge line behind us. Ended up with buffalo pizza and FinnRiver cider. Pizza had a kick, housemade crust excellent. Refreshing cider! Enjoyable place after Multnomah Falls. Btw, only 18 minutes away! Check it out.

Yelp
Once we found that tricky little street leading to Migrations new Gresham location we throughly enjoyed a late afternoon of sampling beer here. Loved: -Fantastic brews (so many choices!) -Plenty of parking -Cool open space/cool laid back vibe -Amazing art & sweet decor -Stellar service & super friendly too -Dart games -Tour of the brewing facility was cool Not so much: -It gets really loud in here -Hey, that a big parking lot out there. I know ya have plans for a full-on patio but in the meantime makeshift outdoor space would be awesome. Fun Facts: If you're into sour beers try the Berlin Sour! Made with 400 lbs raspberrys & 150 lbs blackberrys. Yes really! In the future they'll add the fabulous Marion berry. Oh yeah baby!

Alyssa F.

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was so fun. Great beer selection. Excellent ambiance. The staff was so kind and attentive, let us sample multiple beers without hesitation. The pizza (we got the Hawaiian ish one) was sooooo good and fresh. Highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Cynthia W.

Yelp
So happy to have a brewery closer to home. Laid back feel with a cool layout. The beer was good as always and the food was good too! The platter with cheeses & meats was expensive for the amount of food given. The meatball sandwich & the Italian one were pretty good! Will be going back for sure!
google avatar

Jerry P.

Yelp
New place in the neighborhood! We had to come try the pizza. We were not disappointed! The Pizza is above average. Very good. They also get points for being a Portland Trailblazer supporter. My only issue is the place seems very hollow and empty which amplifies the noise in the place. The hosts were uncaring and not very friendly on the day of our visit. They almost seemed to be bothered by taking our order and serving our pizza. Off day? We will be back to sample other pizzas. If the service is the same we won't make it to the third style.
google avatar

Rick I.

Yelp
Migration just opened. 11 beers and cider on tap. This is a full service brewery with beers, cider, and wines. The food menu includes sandwiches, salads, pizza, calzones and for kids foods. Hours Sunday- Thursday 11am -9pm Friday-Saturday 11am -10pm
google avatar

Erikka R.

Yelp
Wow. First time here and everything was great. Loved the outside area and that we were able to bring our dogs. Many Covid precautions available. We took the recommendation of trying the spinach artichoke dip and it did not disappoint! So good. Even though we were warned It was really hot, we didn't wait and ate anyways. Therefore burnt the roof of our mouths lol. So worth it though. We also shared a calzone and it was so good! We will definitely be back. A great stop after a long day of hiking.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
Came here shortly before closing for the first time to meet some friends. Bartenders were attentive but super inviting or friendly (*probably because we came late). Decent beer selection and small menu. You order all food and drinks up at the bar which inst always my favorite but not a big deal. The atmosphere for this place is pretty cool, I will come back again to try out some of their food.
google avatar

Sully J.

Yelp
Stayed at the DaysInn hotel across the street and decided to walk over to Migration brewing for a beer and some food. We got the Three meat pizza and it was AMAZING- the pizza wasn't to thick, crust was done perfectly very light and crispy- I would say probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. We got the IPA the girl recommended, very strong but good(8/10) Girl at the bar was very short and not very informative for someone working at a brewery. We told her we were from out town, she didn't really provide any background on the beers or the food. We had to ask her if everything was brewed in house and which beer was there top seller. Over all the pizza was delicious and beers were good! They could use a friendly staff member who provides some background on the migration brewing and the beers.
google avatar

Colton S.

Yelp
This is a great addition to the east side. The atmosphere and interior of the building seem like it should be down in the pearl, which is refreshing out here. They have great beers, ciders and wines and the food that we had (seasonal salad and wedge salad) was great, big and priced well. The rest of the menu items looked great as well including the various pizza they offer, there is something for everyone. We will be back soon!
google avatar

Patrick B.

Yelp
Just opened (June '18) an extension of their downtown business. Upscale, big, nice restrooms, easy menu. The beers that I had were great. Lots of parking off street. Can be a bit tricky to get off 181st St. To Wilkes Make the trip.

Summer H.

Yelp
Migration beer and food yesterday was amazing. The fresh hops were flowing and enjoyed by all. We had a large group show up and the staff did a fantastic job serving everyone as well as keeping the food high quality. Loved the calzones and chop salad.
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
Great place to stop for some appetizers and a beer! Friendly staff and nice amount of seating outside.
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
Amazing! The spinach artichoke dip is probably the best I've ever had. Good beer selection too. I enjoyed the Hope Double IPA. My husband selects the Dizzy Dean IIPA. Stop on by!
