Miguel’s Cocina was a phenomenal experience. Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a party of 4 and requested a table outside. I was given a 30 estimated time but waited about half of that time. They brought us water right away and had children coloring page and crayons available right away. Chips and salsa came quickly as well, also cheese jalapeño sauce, yum! The food was really good as well! We ordered the kids the carnitas plate which came with beans and rice, they approved! The carne asada plate was so flavorful I like it better than any other meat I’ve had recently. I ordered the Enchiladas Sucias and was satisfied by how filling it was. There was plenty of shredded chicken in there and the green salsa was so good. Our margaritas did not disappoint as well, strong because of the reposado tequila but yum! Churros and ice cream was delicious! The harbor view was spectacular. Loved it here!

Just walking into Miguel’s Cocina you’re surrounded by eye pleasing decoration pieces and the vibe of a waterfront restaurant. The music is very well selected, so the ambient is set up good. I sat on the outside tables next to the water and they even asked if the sun was too hot so they could bring the shade down. Initially they brought out corn chips which were warm and recently made as well as the salsa which was tomato based, tasty, and well seasoned. It wasn’t too hot, but you can feel the spice. They also brought out their signature white sauce which tastes like drippy white cheese mixed with some peppers, it’s a 10/10 sauce. I ordered the Carne Asada (Medium). The carne asada was cooked all the way through, so it wasn’t medium except on the thicker part which was maybe a bite size area. However the seasoning and marinade was tasty and the little char pieces also added flavor. The orange rice is a classic and the flavors were there, the beans with the cheese on top were also flavorful and the texture on both was great. They also serve the dish with three tortillas and they also tasted delicious. I ordered the Calamari which i’ve never tried before so I didn’t have a reference to, but it tasted bland. Not sure if the calamari itself was not seasoned correctly or if the breading wasn’t seasoned well, but it was only alright. They served the calamari with the white sauce, a lime wedge, a green onion, and some pico de gallo. Overall experience was great, but the food might need a little bit more work done. GREAT service, Mariana was keeping up with the food and her attention was amazing. Would come again mainly for the ambient and location.

Google
The food is amazing but honestly the staff was even better. We had a great time. We had fish tacos, carne asada, and taco of the month. Also Passionfruit margaritas was delicious. If you can get a outside seat do it! The views are beautiful.

Google
This is a wonderful restaurant with a great view, located on the second floor of the beach. The food is delicious, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable. The most expensive dish was the fried seafood, which was around $24, but most dishes were around $18. I smiled as I watched a few people, who seemed to be friends, sitting at the bar and cheering cheerfully.

Google
Couldn’t check-in to hotel, found this place across the street for a nice lunch after landing in SD! Was able to grab a seat on the outside water front deck. Lovely local beer choices and great food!!

Google
I liked the location, on the water. It was a little too loud for me. No espresso, just regular coffee. Food and service was good.

Google
First time at Miguel's and hands-down best meal we've had in our week in San Diego. Promptly seated outside at table for two directly on the water at sunset. Service was extremely fast considering how busy it became shortly thereafter. Delicious food and free chips and salsa while we waited. To top it off, we asked for a box for our few remaining chips and they brought us an entire bag of fresh ones! Highly recommended.

Google
Came as a large group with a reservation and they did excellent in caring for us. Drinks came out all together. Food came out in a quick fashion. It did feel very celebratory. Fajitas are good and prefer the steak. Shrimp was cooked well but I felt could be more seasoned. Chicken and pork were dry. Flour tortillas were the way to go. Carajillo was good.

Yelp
Sat at the bar, August took care of us, he was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Looking forward to coming back again.

Yelp
Miguel's Cocina already has the perfect vibe just from its location, right on the pier with a beautiful view of the bay. It's the kind of spot where you could easily sit back, enjoy the scenery, and stay a while. One of the highlights for me? The free, unlimited chips, salsa, and queso! That's such a win! i love when a restaurant goes beyond the basics. The chips were fresh, and the queso was addicting. For my main dish, I went with La Combinación del Jefe, and wow... so good and filling! Great flavors, good portions, and definitely worth ordering if you want a little bit of everything. Service started off strong...our server was attentive in the beginning. But as the meal went on, it was harder to get their attention. I usually don't like flagging people down, but we eventually had to raise our hands to get more water and our check, even though it wasn't busy (we went around 2p). That was the only downside of the visit. Overall, Miguel's Cocina is a solid San Diego spot for delicious Mexican food with a view. I'd come back for the queso and bay vibes alone.

Yelp
Great location right on port side pier with solid Mexican food Pro tip: the queso sauce that they bring out with chips as a free appetizer is phenomenal Food: Queso fundido 4/5- solid cheese dip with shrimp and chorizo Fajitas 4/5- the steak and shrimp are solid options here, comes with bean rice etc Ahi tostadas 3.75/5- good flavors but would've hoped for more ahi portion Ambiance 5/5- right on the waterfront great views of boats coming to dock and great walking path

Yelp
We loved going here to watch baseball playoffs! The happy hour menu is great and the margaritas are even greater!! My date loved his cold beer. Service was swift and friendly!

Yelp
Loved my margarita, chips and salsa . And loved MIGUEL'S 1/2 POUND CANTINA CHEESEBURGER Bacon, guacamole, pepper jack cheese & spicy chile mayo; served with French fries. I added some Jalapenos to it. Family got Steak fajitas, taco trio, chicken millenesa , and Caldo de Mar. Service was great, loved sitting by the window , Was able to enjoy the ocean view.

Yelp
Food is good and the service is outstanding! Eddie, Gerardo, and Giovanni took excellent care of us. They truly made the experience a 10 out of 10. I got steak fajitas, which were hardy and cooked well. You can tell they used a good cut of steak. I recommend you go at any time but especially sit at the bar if Eddie, Gerardo, and Giovanni are working.

Yelp
Bring a jacket! This place has a beautiful outdoor seating but be aware that it does get cold especially for dinner time. The service was nice & attentive. I got the Asada Torta and although a bit dry, it was still pretty good. I definitely recommend getting the Coco Pina Margarita. I love the coconut shreds that they put on top.

Yelp
Miguel's Cocina is conveniently located on the Pier. If you make a visit either breakfast or lunch, you'll enjoy San Diego's Seaport stunning views. It's the perfect setting for a relaxing time away from Downtown or when docking on a cruise ship short shore excursion. A friendly server quickly delivers fresh tortillas with salsa and cheese dips. This will give you an idea how hungry you are. My appetizer was the Mexico City Style Quesadillas. It was filled with pork belly jack cheese, green onions, cilantro and more. I was amazed at how big the portion was. This left me feeling satisfied and full. Highly recommend. On my next visit, I would like to try the Surf and Turf Burrito and skip an appetizer. I loved this restaurant's view most especially because the weather was mid-spring nearing summer. When I'm back in San Diego during my next visit, I'd also like to have one of their Margaritas or or another Happy Hour Drink. Overall, a wonderful spot for great food, drinks, and views, also great customer service. Food was 5 out of 5. Service another 5 out of 5. Atmosphere also 5 out of 5.

Yelp
Great food at a great price. Couldn't ask for more but you get more because the place is cool and clean and the staff is friendly. Food is delicious and loved all the yummy sauces and drinks. Excellent refried beans and rice along with amazing tacos and empanadas. Great place to enjoy yourself in Old Town.

Yelp
I was on a work trip in San Diego, so my whole crew decided to head over to Miguel's for their Happy Hour. First impression the restaurant has amazing views of the water. Nice bright windows and lots of seating. We opted to sit at the bar, we got free chips and salsa with some queso blanco. The bartender was awesome. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. I ordered from the happy hour menu. Happy hour started at 2pm. I got 3 street style carnitas for $7. They were perfect, the carnitas were juicy, tender, and had incredible flavor! We all shared a ceviche as an appetizer. It was delicious, good flavors with a nice spicy kick. Definitely recommend this place for amazing views, good food, drinks, and ambiance.

Yelp
Good food with a great view. Love that they bring out chips with salsa and warm queso to start, such a great touch. The staff were all very friendly.

Yelp
We went there on a random Tuesday night and it was very much still lively. We did a walk in and was seated right away. They sat us get to the window where we can see part of the pier and the ocean. I got the chicken mole and it was delicious!! No complaints. The chicken was tender, and mile sauce was flavorful and exquisite. Waiter came back to check on us many time and food came out fairly quickly. Overall good experience and I would go there again. Also got the chamoy margarita and it was good!

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch with my daughter after landing from Washington State. We shared the flat bread appetizer. It was delicious. She had a bloody mary, which was tasty. I had a Modelo. The service was good and quick. XI enjoyed the view sitting outside.

Yelp
Very nice classy, place. Beautiful view of the water at almost any seat you're placed in. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were told our seats would be ready in 45ish min, and they were actually ready in 15. Solano was our waiter and he's very kind and lively. Their standard chips with salsa and queso dips are very very tasty. Pleasantly surprised how hard it was not to eat too much of it before our order. I ordered their surf'n turf burrito (without the fries, that's basically a California burrito..) and my girlfriend had the chicken enchiladas. The food didn't take long to come, around 15 min. To get to the point. They were both absolutely delicious. The shrimp was good but I love how the steak tasted in my burrito, another pleasant surprise. Chicken enchiladas were good too. I'm not big on those but I took a bite of it and it didn't disappoint for me and she liked it. Couldn't finish my burrito, so had to take that bad boy home. I blame the chips and dips. My complaints are that it wasn't packed, yet it took a while for Mr. Solano to tend to us. He arrived very briefly to ask how our meal is when we barely took one bite, and we didn't see him for about to 20 min after we finished our meals for the check. No water refills or anything until I wanted the check. Also, there were no utensils for us, so had to ask a kind gentlemen staff that handed our meals for some. Without asking about it, Solano kindly informed me they were unusually understaffed and apologized how long it took to get back to me, so it's nice how he anticipated my concern. All in all, despite these hiccups, it was very wonderful experience along with the food and quality staff and outside view. I think what they do well overcomes what I hope is an aberration, so I very much recommend, if in the area.

Yelp
My friends and I were walking around killing time before heading out to the airport. We decided to stop by at Miguel's since I've dined at the neighboring restaurants but haven't been to this location. I remembered how much I loved the chips and queso so I told my friends let's go have a drink and eat chips. We walked in and told the hostess we'd like a table so we can have drinks. We'll, we were seated outside on the patio which us sweet. We got to look at the water. We were served waters and the chips and cheese. After 10 minutes, a server came by asked if we were helped and we said no. He walked away and came back to help us. We told him we wanted a bottle of champagne. He then said, this area is for dining only and that's why we're given menus. WTF!!!! The fuckin hostess sat us here. He then walked away and said he needed to speak to someone. At that point, we obviously didn't want to stay there because of how he made us feel by sitting in an area where we weren't supposed to be. While leaving, a male spoke to us but at that point, the server already gave us a bad impression of the service there. Would I return? Maybe because the food at the other locations have always been good. But after reading reviews, customer service is a concern here which management should address. Lastly, the restaurant was not busy at all. Maybe less than 25% full just to put things in perspective.

Yelp
We went for lunch here and the atmosphere and service was amazing. The location and views is second to none. The only issue we had was that it was a warm, humid day and the outdoor heaters were on. We were dying outside and asked the heaters to be turned off but it took over an hour to do so. Would highly recommend sitting inside if it's warm outside. The food was decent but not what we expected given all else. Made for a solid start to our day.

Yelp
We were visiting the USS Midway and this was centrally located nearby. Great location. Great view - wasn't too busy. Visited Monday at 5 PM. Our taco special 4/5 Kids taco 2/5 Butter Service 5/5 Location 5/5

Yelp
The food was great but service could've been better. We were never offered refills and only checked on to give check. We were starving though from an afternoon/evening at the beach. The queso was so good, along with the calamari. My husband's order came out wrong but it took so long that it wasn't worth it to him to wait for it to be corrected. My kids loved the quesadilla and refried beans. Parking was expensive and all of the free parking is taken.

Yelp
Great location with a stunning view of the harbor. Delicious Mexican food and great customer service. Worth checking out and enjoying a good meal with a view. There is indoor, outdoor, and bar seating available. There is a beautiful view of the harbor and outdoor heaters to keep you warm. There is complimentary chips, salsa, and a jalapeño cheese dip. The server was attentive, friendly, and kept checking on us. The prices were reasonable, approximately $30 a person for a plate and beer. The food came out quickly, was fresh, hot, and tasted amazing. I ordered the chicken and mole plate. Was a lot of food and I couldn't finish it all. The flavor of the mole was good and had a little kick. The chicken was juicy, and the rice and beans were good. The beers were ice cold and everyone enjoyed their meals. All around great experience. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
I got the vegetarian enchiladas which were okay. The queso they served us was amazing. Service was good. Cute place as well.

Yelp
Ahi tacos were good as were the fish tacos. Chips were a bit stale but second basket was better. Can't beat the view.

Yelp
Sadly this was a very disappointing experience. Two of us ordered off the brunch menu: avocado omelette. 1st not sure if they were running low on Avocado but there were three super tiny slices of avocado on the top of the omelette and that was it. Definitely not what is expected if you advertise an avocado omelette. I also asked for no sour cream as I am allergic and when it came if was absolutely full of sour cream. While the poor waiter DID remedy the situation 1- thank goodness I hadn't taken a bite but 2- the waiter after I told him and he took it back came running over to me to show his screen in my face to prove it wasn't his fault. Super bizarre. I wasn't blaming him in the first place? I don't know based on this experience alone id probably picked a different location next time I'm in the area.. I've had much better omlettes at Denny's
google avatar

Yelp
The location is perfect! We were able to dock right at the restaurant. Unfortunately we did not get outdoor seating. If you can, sit outside. Views are beautiful and right above the water. The chips, salsa and cheese were excellent. Great service, highly recommend dining here.
google avatar

Yelp
Went on a Sunday after church with a large party. We were seated within 20 minutes of getting there. The parking is the only issue unless you valet( best option). Jose was our waiter and he was busy! But he was on it and attentive to us. The cheese for the chips was great. The salsa wasn't too spicy. Everybody got something different and enjoyed it. The food was amazing and flavorful.

Yelp
Good view and good food with a good beer Amazing carne asada I get this every time and it's cooked perfect and just the right amount of food for me

Yelp
It was a long day at Breeders Cup. We decided to walk across the street to Portside and get a light dinner at Miguel's Cocina. The chicken Taquitos were amazing, a good sized appetizer portion and very filling. This is pricey Mexican, but very good. 103

Yelp
Right on San Diego bay. The restaurant is beautiful with amazing views anywhere you sit. We were there for dinner so we got to see a beautiful sunset along with our meal. The portions are big. We got an appetizer and it was great! I would order the flautas each time I go. I had the sopes and they were really good. I had one with each of the three meats offered. Overall we tried a bunch of things on the menu. We really enjoyed the guacamole. Definitely a great place to try for both the food and the view.

Yelp
One of my favorite Sit Down Mexican restaurants. Located in Old Town, Harbor Dr, or by Shelter Island. My favorite being off Harbor Dr because the view is spectacular! This particular restaurant sits right on the water and is one of the best places to have a meal during sun down. The food here is delicious! Fresh made tortillas great chips and salsa and cheese dip! The food portions are big enough for two people to share. They also have some pretty good margaritas and cocktails. Sometimes it takes a while to be seated but you can always grab a soot at the bar if there is a seat or two open! Service is always pretty good and the food comes out fast! Definitely a must try!
google avatar

Aaron D.

Yelp
2 stars for a place in downtown over the water so you know it must be bad. The food is absolutely flavorless. I've made the mistake of eating her 3 times and every time the food gets worse. I would say it would be worth it for the view but ketch brewing is upstairs and better in every way. The shrimp quesadilla I had was $27 and so unbelievably bland and liquidy. Do not go here under any circumstances.

Yelp
We've been here a few times and always love the views and the ambiance. Coming at sunset always feels special even though we're used to the sunset here in sd. They bring out queso and salsa for the table which is always much appreciated. The queso and salsa are quite good and the chips have always been fresh. Hubs always gets a mango margarita and he says it is his favorite drink in all of San Diego which says a lot! The raspberry mojito had such a great mix of flavors and the raspberry and mint were distinguishable. Both couples ordered the beef chimichanga. The outside of it was fried very well, but for some reason the beef inside was room temperature. We let our waitress know and she gave us a free dessert. The beans and rice were good as well and they give a good amount of toppings such as pico, sour cream and guacamole. The fried ice cream was yummy and had a nice cinnamon flavor along with the whipped cream on top. Our server was very kind and attentive to us. Our food hasn't always been the absolute best here, but the location and ambiance are wonderful. We love bringing out of town friends here. I would still recommend coming here!

Yelp
Food we ordered were all good, fresh, and reasonably priced. Love the bay view where we were seated. Service is all right, specially the guy who gives us refillable Chips and Salsa (freebies) and H2° The margaritas we ordered were deliciously mixed and very refreshing. This is the first time we came to this resto, and we will continue to patronize this resto for its quality and delicious taste. Oh by the way, the only thing I did not like is they aren't dog friendly

Yelp
Well, I actually was heading to the restaurant next door when I saw Miguel's hidden between the two bigger restaurants. The other two restaurants featured many seafood entrees and I hate seafood and by looking at the menu at Miguel's, it seemed perfect for me as they had other options. Honestly, I just wanted an ocean view, a nice steak, and good drinks and that would make my evening. I was seated outside facing the ocean, awesome. It was perfect and picturesque. My waiter was very charming, Edderd (sp? -please forgive me) and attentive and got me everything I needed the whole time I was there. I started off with some chips and salsa and a warm queso dip which went well with my beer and tequila shot. For my entree, I ordered the 8oz ribeye with mushroom sauce and sautéed vegetables. I have to say, the plate wasn't very attractive but I took a bite and the sauce with mushrooms was amazing. I'm not sure if it was a chipotle - mole type sauce but it was savory, sweet with a very mild heat to it. I was enjoying it. So, at one moment, I had to run to the restroom which is located all the way at the entrance of the restaurant where the hostess' desk is located. By the time I came back, there were two waitresses finishing up wiping my table. They took all my food away and cleared my table!? I walked up to them and asked where is my food? I wasn't finished with my dinner. They looked at each other and realized their mistake. My waiter came and I told him that I still had 1/3 of my steak and drinks left and that I had ran to the bathroom but took my stuff with me, just in case. The manager was kind enough to apologize and offer me a replacement for any of my meal. I asked for another round of drinks and the dessert menu. I finished this the evenings mishap with churros and caramel sauce. This place has a good vibe the customer service is good and it's located on the harbour - you can't get it any better than this. I hope you have a great experience if you choose to come here for dinner. Njoy!

Yelp
Terrible food and service. Had a salad and it was pretty bad. They forgot the avocado and the mangos were unripe. Over rated and over priced. Service was neglectful at the bar. With all the food options in this area I won't be back.

Yelp
THE VIEW! Stopped in for happy hour in January and enjoyed food, drinks and the sun setting over the water. Great happy hour menu - drinks and food $7 runs 2pm-5pm Sunday thru Friday. Sat at a high top table between the bar and dining room, it provided a great view of the water. Loved the queso served with the chips and the margaritas were delicious. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly. It's a busy place, so reservations recommended for dinner.

Yelp
This chain Mexican restaurant is a pretty good option when you're craving Mexican food and want something convenient in the area. We went on a Friday night, and even though it was very busy, we were able to snag two open seats at the bar right away. The bartender was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. One thing I really appreciate is that they offer complimentary chips with salsa and queso--and honestly, who doesn't love queso? My husband and I split the fajitas, and even between the two of us, we still had leftovers for the next day. The food is decent--it's not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but it's good enough that we find ourselves going back, especially since it's the closest Mexican restaurant within walking distance for us. Overall, it's a reliable spot when you're looking for something casual, quick, and satisfying.

Yelp
It'd been a year since we last visited Miguel's Cocina at Portside Pier, yet Makaela remembered my allergy. That, my friends, is exemplary customer service. After placing our orders, I excused myself to the restroom. During my absence Makaela asked Becky, "Doesn't he have an allergy? His order contains guacamole." I hadn't noticed that my carne asada taco in the La Baja Combo had guac. Makaela made sure that the kitchen omitted the guac. The carne asada was excellent. It was a really good taco. Tender and juicy meat nestled in a quality corn tortilla. The shrimp enchilada was excellent as well. Stuffed with plump shrimp and covered in a delicious sauce. I replaced the refried in favor of borracho beans. I love Miguel's borracho beans. Bex (again) went with the Miguel's Trio Burritos. Three mini burritos with Miguel's signature sauces; carnitas with verde, carne asada with enchilada & shrimp with jalapeno cream. All three were delightful. As usual, we had a lot of leftovers for several future meals. Excellent service, excellent food at Miguel's.

Yelp
This is one of those rare experiences where the food is OK, the drinks are bad, but the view and the service make it worth visiting. I wouldn't say the food is bad or low quality but I also wouldn't say it's amazing. I went for taco Tuesday and had a swordfish taco, a blackened chicken taco and one with octopus. even though they had different toppings, the tacos all kind of tasted the same. The guacamole was also OK, it could've had more lime or more onion or anything besides avocado. I think what makes me love or dislike a restaurant Is the drinks a lot of the time. I had the hh margarita and it tasted like they use artificial mixers. Coming from the Pacific Northwest, most bars use real fruit, real juices, real mixers and so anything that tastes like it's made from fake fruit is disgusting to me. I definitely would not order another drink other than something really plain like a tequila soda. I also saw some of the really cheap mixers on the counter after I already drank my drink and my analysis seem to be correct. These not only taste bad better probably loaded with sugar. Overall, I would probably come back because it has amazing views and I love working from here or from the coffee bar around the corner, but I would not order drinks other than straight booze.

Yelp
The parking is in front but can be busy and you'll need to pay for it. Walking inside, there's a warm modern atmosphere filled with conversations. We opted to seat outside to watch the sunset and have a view of the water. It was chilly outside! They actually had heaters and we requested for them to be turned on but it took about asking 2-3 people until it actually happened. We understood they were busy though. The ceviche fish was a tad overcooked but still yummy with flavor. Enjoyed the free chips and salsa. The passion fruit margaritas had a tajin rim and was light. Definitely recommend the marg! The combo fajita plate was $29. It came with 3 tortillas which was a little disappointing for the amount of food it came with. Ordering 3 more tortillas costed $1.50. We had ordered chicken, beef & pork and it was on a bed of fajita veggies. Pork was the best of the three.

Yelp
Miguel's was a must for me. My mom raved about the location in Coronado Island, but the one off the harbor in San Diego was by far the best swordfish tacos I've ever had. Our awesome server definitely gave us the best suggestions and sat us outdoes on the deck to bore the water the sun and the boats sailing by. It was the perfect setting to end our day! Try the blackened swordfish tacos in blue corn shells you won't regret it!

Yelp
Had a wonderful early lunch with friends and family. Most of us had the traditional fish taco. Some explored with brunch and lunch combos. Everything was timely and delicious. Our server, Mercedes, was outstanding and very attentive to all our needs. We will request her every time we go.

Yelp
Great spot that's off the water near the airport with excellent service and good food! My coworkers and I stopped by while on a layover and the happy hour was Fantastic! We ordered the shredded chicken nacho, beef empanadas, Miguel's flatbread and the flautas. All on the happy hour menu and only $7 good proportions for a single person and great to combine and share. Christian was our bar tender and he was a delight! He was very attentive and social. The restaurant was not very busy but the bar area was almost completely full. The decor was beautiful with a twist of exotic memorization of beautiful paintings of women and colorful eye catching wild cats. Perfect for a happy hour pow wow or family dinning experience.

Yelp
Wow. The food was super yummy but the service was almost even more wonderful. Our server was above perfect and the feel inside here was super comfortable and clean. This was a great place to eat and a great taste of everything we ordered.

Yelp
Good food. Quick service. Friendly staff. Nice ambiance. Good amount of options. All the food had good flavor and was cooked well. They give you large portions.

Yelp
I love the food! Every time I visit San Diego I make sure Miguel's is a stop we make. I love the chicken fajita's. It's nice big chunks of chicken. For me, it's enough to share with someone depending on how much they eat. I love their chips, salsa, and cheese dip they bring complimentary. Their drinks are good and will have you feeling buzzed. The staff is all wonderful. If you like eating outside, I definitely recommend because the view is great of the water. It can be busy on weekends/nights and may have a wait time but it's never too long.

Yelp
By far the worst service I have had in a long time. We arrived last Thursday night at 8:45pm. There was 4 of us and they were set to close at 9:30. Plenty of time to order, eat, and leave. The drinks took 30 mins to come out so they took them off the bill. We had to ask 3x and wait 20 mins for the free chips and cheese. We ordered at 9pm and food came out at 9:40pm. We hurried to eat and leave and many other parties were still there lingering. Only plus was the delicious mojito and food. Service and kitchen turnaround time was the worst. I will never return to this location. I have been a fan of the chain for over 20 years and have been to many locations.

Yelp
Second time at this location. Ana gave wonderful service but the food was a solid two stars. Ordered ceviche, two fajita plates with steak, chicken and adobada and a kids meal with chicken tenders and fries. The steak was good, the adobada had a weird flavor and the chicken was bland. Vegetables with swimming in oil even though we asked for easy oil. Chicken tender for kids meal was perfectly breaded. Adult entrees were flops but would be open to trying something else since my first experience with carne asada tacos was great.

Yelp
Just had a wonderful experience eating at Miguel's Cocina. Excellent food, fair price, and a beautiful view of the San Diego bay. Loved the environment here, everyone seemed to be having a great time! Very tourist friendly (who make up a majority of the customers I imagine) and very close to the USS Midway museum! Right next to the boat museum! Special thank you to Jose Luis! While it felt difficult to reach out to some staff, he made it very comfortable and easy to approach! Constantly checking in on us, and ensuring our experience was more than amazing. He would always put himself out there at our convenience and making our time at the restaurant absolutely epic! Thank you!
