6/5 Stars! ⭐️ Amazing food and amazing staff and owner! You could feel the love Miguel's has for his restaurant and serving people wonderful food. His joy and kindness was infectious! We got an omelette, sweet bread french roast and home fries! I forgot to take pictures before I started to eat because I was so excited to eat the food 🤣 truly the best service I've ever received! I can't recommend this place enough! I plan to make the hour drive to come back here to eat!

I took my 10 year old to Miguel's for breakfast last week. The waitress Maria was a sweetheart and the food was fantastic! My picky daughter said everything was the best she ever had. I was impressed that Miguel, the owner, was there and not just hands on with the food but also went around talking to all of the customers. It felt so homey and wonderful. I then went back today with my teenage daughter, who also loved all of the food. Again, Maria was our waitress and wonderful and Miguel came by to chat with us. You can tell that most of the customers are regulars and they are just as friendly. I'll be going back very often as it's a place where you feel not just welcomed but like family and the food is amazing. I highly recommend!

First time at Miguel's, it is very very good. Good food, fair prices and friendly people. You can't ask for anything more for breakfast. Do yourself a favor, stop in for a good meal, do your community a favor, support a locally owned business.

Beyond 5 stars. Always the best breakfast, with wonderful, friendly service. Highly recommended. The owner is there and comes out a lot to make sure everyone is happy. They also have offered More than I requested, going above and beyond all three times I've eaten there. I highly recommend Miguel's for breakfast. It's my go to now and will be for a while I'm sure. Good is always excellent.

Yelp
Went with a large groups. Miguel pushed together tables for us and was very friendly the whole time we were there. Everyone really enjoyed their food and we all agreed we would return if in the area again. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Found this gem thanks to yelp! Such an old school mom and pop joint. The second I walked in I felt like I was back on summer vacation in Greece. It is a big old school room with a bunch of tables and lunch bar. There are old school Christian pictures on the walls, TVs in Portuguese and the nicest man welcoming you in. I had the lenguisa egg and cheese which came w some potatoes. The man recommended the pop bread and it was perfect. Just a well done breakfast sandwich. I also had a Portuguese passion fruit soda that was a nice change from the overly sweetened American sodas. The potatoes could have been crispier but it was a great breakfast in a wonderful environment. The entire staff was so kind. 100% going back next time I'm in New Bedford. I wanna try the soup and benifa sandwich. It looked good.

Yelp
The owner Miguel greets you at the door, a great warm smile is a sign of things to come. He seats us, greets us, tells about specials and right away drops off warms sweet Portuguese bread. It's breakfast, or lunch they make sure we get whatever we want, the way we want it. Great service, very good food, and then more sample and inside information on where he gets his fresh ingredients. Hungry, go see Miguel. Prices are very reasonable, service is fantastic and you will not go away hungry.

Yelp
The Portuguese sandwiches were great and come with hash brown potatoes. The cacoila sandwich was decent, but the one that was simply delicious was the bifana sandwich ($6.99). Service was great and the restaurant had enough ac to be cool.

Yelp
Always old school Portuguese breakfast. Maria whips up some great sunnyside for me and my friends a couple times a week. Miguel would never let you leave hungry offering up "more patato" (miguel voice) and fresh malasadas with cinnamon and sugar. Very warm homemade food. Love it! .. GreAt lunch too fresh kale soup , Chicken Mozambique & grilled cheese w/ bacon are a few of my faves!
