Mija Cantina

Paid $17.95 for a basket of stale ballpark-style chips and overly puréed guacamole. The server was rude, and shockingly, took an alcoholic drink to go after clocking out. Easily the worst dining experience I’ve had at an airport. Would not recommend.

You can do worse for airport breakfast. The tacos were decent, nothing I'd ever crave, but appetizing enough. The service is a little rough. Bored, slow, inattentive, and no refills on anything - even when the restaurant was nearly empty. It's like customers are a burden to be rid of. The breakfast menu states "served until 10:30" - at 9:45, the server warned breakfast would be over soon. I glanced at the menu, realized the time, and said "oh, 10:30? No problem" to which she snapped "no, it's sooner" and hurried away. Again, kind of a captive audience here at the airport but it never feels good to feel like a pest just for engaging in services rendered.

The wait staff of 6 people all gathered five feet away and talked smack the entire time we were here. It took a very long time (in an empty restaurant) for one of them to come to the table and even acknowledge our existence. I especially loved the F bombs dropped while I ate with my kids. On a positive note, the waiter was very friendly when he actually came over. Regardless, if I owned this restaurant I would have probably fired them on the spot. I’ve never seen anything like it.

For breakfast, you can't go wrong here. Fast and friendly. French toast is a bit dry, but butter and syrup fixes that. Mimosas were over $18, so you should skip it. Otherwise, a great breakfast for an airport.

👨🏾‍🍳 My wife and I were served very quickly by a nice waitress named Gabi. Logan Airport wasn't quite as busy as expected, so while the restaurant was pretty occupied, it wasn't extremely packed. 🍽️ We ordered the burrito bowls (they were out of burritos). They were served in regular plates/bowls not tortilla bowls like some restaurants). As the picture shows, the portion size was very generous; we also got a plate of fries to boot. 🥩 Food quality was really good; I got the steak and the wife got the chicken. I preferred the steak, though we both devoured every morsel with no hesitation. A small salad with Mexican rice, beans and a big scoop of guac made up the contents of the plate; all very tasty. 📝🌟 Overall, a really good experience. About $64 was our bill, which is $20 of damage more than we'd usually do in a restaurant. But, not only is this to be expected for an airport restaurant, the surrounding establishments (a steakhouse and seafood place) were far pricier. All things considered, I'd definitely recommend checking this out if you're over in Terminal C. Hopefully it's not too busy when you come, as the neighboring tables are pretty close! May make some new acquaintances that way, though. ✈️

Super good and decently priced for an airport restaurant! My chicken tinga quesodilla was just right the amount of juicy and the pico was perfect.

Food quality summarized in one line: the queso was so liquid that they could serve it in a plastic cup with a straw. Staff attitude: you are welcome if you have a certain skin color. Others - they will make you realize that you are not welcome. Recommendation: avoid!

My flight got delayed HOURSSSSS and I stopped her for a spicy marg and dinner. My waitress Carolina was so attentive and kind to everyone sitting around the bar. She helped recommend food and I had a great experience! I recommend the La Diabla margarita, killer!!

Ate here before our flight out of Boston. It was very good for an airport restaurant. I got a chicken quesadilla and it was good and okay priced. Service was quick.

Food: The carne asada quesadilla was not it. There was barely any protein in it. It was also not piping hot when it came served to me. Service: Food was fast! Best part. Ambiance: Lol the back tables are really crammed together, there wasn't much space between them, but it's set up like a Mexican bar.

The Scarlet Vetter says..... I was stuck at the Boston Logan Airport on a Friday evening, awaiting a late flight. So I decided to stop into this restaurant/bar near my gate, to enjoy a Margarita, and to score some much needed food. I ordered the Signature Miha Margarita, which was lovely. I also ordered a Chicken Quesadilla. The bar service was quick, efficient, businesslike. The Margarita was absolutely excellen and came quickly. It was a very busy Friday evening and the bar looked to be hopping. Despite how busy it was, the Quesadilla also arrived fairly quickly. However, the individual who served it, did not assure that I had a place setting with which to eat it. The bartender, to her credit, noticed it immediately (while she was pouring someone's drink) acknowledged my predicament with a head nod, and as soon as she was free, went quickly to get a place setting for me. 2The Quesadilla was excellent! Flavorful and warm and served with chilled guacamole. Yum. The bartender checked on my satisfaction with the food as did an unrelated server, which was excellent service. I sat for quite a while at the bar and did not feel rushed, which was nice. This place should likely get 4.5 stars but since there is no option for that, I went with four only because of the failure to assure that utensils are with someone who you're of bringing food to. I would definitely recommend stopping in here if you happen to get stuck in the C terminal at Boston Logan airport even on a busy night!

Everyone knows you get what you can in the airport. Mexican food, was really the only choice I had. If you are in a hurry don't go here. The staff need training. Most people can't wait 20 minutes for the breakfast burrito. The staff were nice just very slow. The burrito was good enough for airport food and it's not too expensive either.

I saw they weren't busy and had multiple servers and a lot of tables open so I thought I could fit some food in before my flight. I ordered a beer and fries. Got the beer after about 10 minutes. Never got the fries. I got up and left after about 25 minutes. I was annoyed I couldn't get FRENCH FRIES within half an hour. The waitress never checked up or anything. She only noticed something was wrong when I went up to bar and tried to pay, the waitress and bartender looked confused. "You never got the fries?" Again, they were not busy. There were empty tables all around me. Go to one of the other food spots. And $15 for a draft blue moon? Go to any of the other foods spots in the terminal. This place will waste your time, cash and patience.

Reading the reviews I can see some of the reasons for the low star ratings. However, you're at an airport...not a fine dining establishment. Service is indeed slow. They have one waitress and one bartender for the entire spot. Although the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. BUT for $19 these nachos are insane. Typical airport pricing. Decent environment.

I stopped in here last night after having about an hour to spare before my flight. It was close to my gate & I kinda wanted something small to eat & a drink. For some reason there was a line to get in but it was a seat yourself place. One of the workers had to point out seats to people in line & they went in & sat down. I got a seat at a little bar table area facing where everyone walks by in the corner. I was able to stick my bag on the back of my chair. A female waitress came over right away. I was in the mood for a seltzer (Truly, White Claw) but they don't serve that here so I got a Tito's & soda and asked for a lemon with a glass of ice water. I was given a menu once I was greeted by the waitress. Their menu is very small with not much to choose from to eat. I went with a quesadilla. I normally just get a cheese one but decided to go with chicken to get some protein in to help keep me full longer for my 6hr flight I had ahead of me. Drinks came over quick but I got a lime with my cocktail so I had to ask (again) for a lemon & she brought me one over on a toothpick. My food came out quick but it kinda reminded me of dog food.....lol Not that I know what dog food taste like but that's the thought I had as I was eating it. It was shredded chicken, dark brown in color (not dark meat) believe there was a sauce in it???? It tasted OK but I wasn't a fan. I only had 2 slices. No salsa or sour cream comes with it but some type of guacamole sauce was served with it that was tasty. I was able to ask for my check before I was done & she came over with that & cashed me out quickly. Good thing because while I was eating JetBlue changed my gate which wasn't too far from here. This is probably a better place for drinks then food. Don't come here starving because like I mentioned earlier there isn't much on the menu to choose from.

While my burrito was fine, but the restaurant has not addressed mice living under the bench seating. I twice saw a mouse scammer along the bench going in and out at two locations. The manager claimed they have tried and said she used wood glue to block their escape route, their lax attitude towards this issue is disturbing.

Welcoming bar experience. Choices limited around these parts. Thankfully we weren't hungry as the food we saw coming out didn't look the greatest. But drink wise, I was impressed that an airport bar had La Crema Chardonnay. Husband was okay with bourbon. Friendly bartender.

Don't waste your time or your hard earned money!!! Whoever gave this place 2 stars is waaaay too nice. We waited for 20 minutes at our table and watched the bartender chat it up with the waitresses. I finally walked up to the bar and asked him if we order at the bar? He said no, he'll send a waitress right over. After 1 minute we grabbed our luggage and left.

Lukewarm gross coffee, rude server, absolutely disgusting food for breakfast... Powdered eggs yet charging over $20. Couldn't get a refill on the ice less water. Skip this and get a candy bar

This was a pretty cool spot I got some of that Blended margarita but it wasn't that good. And the passion fruit was amazing though kind of tastes like mango but still really good. The customer service is amazing and you can take your drinks to go

Ordered the Mija burger - kinda gas - blew my expectations out the water - one member of the team is a stud - some really Irish name - but fantastic server - and very good looking - would recommend!

Awesome Steph great location, but freaking cold! Stephanie and Erik are amazing and very professional! You should hire more people like them and turn on the heat!

$17 + tip for this basket of chips labeled "guacamole" That's $20 for a basket of salt. Service was blah. Table was dirty. Definitely don't recommend. Only good side is it's open later than most restaurants in the airport.

Actually good airport food! The chicken tacos were fresh and tasty. I often ask for sparkling soda and lime juice and frequently get a tiny lime. But this place delivered and gave me enough lime that I could actually taste it. Music also kept it fun while I waited for my flight. Highly recommend if you're in Terminal C

They advertise authenticate Mexican food... not that at all! We ordered two carne asada tacos with soft corn tortilla and chips and salsa. The chips were chips from a bag not heated and barely any salsa. The corn tortillas came right out of a bag (cold) so they broke when we picked them up to eat. The gal waiting on us acted like she didn't want to be there, was not very customer service oriented at all and on top of that Overly priced, didn't taste good, bad service, and definitely not authentic!

The staff here are awesome and doing their best. Do enjoy a glass of wine or cocktails here. Expensive, but it's the airport. Avoid eating here. The food isn't cooked on site. Cold and sketchy. Maybe bring a snack in to eat while you're enjoying your booze? Logan airport fails on food....again.

Food was barely edible - it's an airport, I wasn't expecting much. BUT! The service was so nonexistent I might as well have been serving myself - in fact I much would have preferred serving myself. I would have set myself on fire to get some attention from a waiter, but I think they still wouldn't have brought us any water! Ambiance nonexistent - a couple who sat down after us looked around at the open tables and said "oh... so it's all just dirty."

I'm pretty easy on airport spots and obviously don't expect much. That said I would steer clear of this place. The chips and guac was premade guac and chips out of a Tostitos bag. The place was also dirty. The table next to us wasn't cleared for the hour we sat there. The server was rude and disinterested. Couldn't recommend this place less.

Mediocre Mexican food, served slowly by waiters who couldn't care less. It took an hour and a half total, even though there were 7 people working. The utensil I received with my nachos was A SPOON. After my waiter delivered my food, I never saw him again. I waited about 20 minutes with my clean plate pushed away, and my wallet and card in my hand. The waitstaff never saw me because they were engrossed in conversation with each other. On the plus side, it does appear they enjoy each others company.

It is purely OK. If I had to rate terminal C in general, I'd give it a D, so this falls aptly in line w that review. Fine drinks/service & decent food - but way overpriced for what you get.

OMG!!! Loved the Carne asada tacos in lettuce wrap ... so tasty, flavorful, nice cut of meat!! Carolina the bar tender is a fantastic!! Will DEFINITELY be back!! Service all around was EXCELLENT!!

Perfect crispy golden fries. The burger came with a zesty mayonnaise on the side, which perfect dipping sauce for fries. Delish burger and of a reasonable size (some airport eateries give huge servings, as if you were going to take leftovers on the plane -- such a waste.

Abby and Derek were two of the most amazing people. They came to the rescue after a long flight of crackers and coke. They served up amazing food and nice drinks with a huge side of laughs. Will come back again

Food was average, slow service. My husband got half way through his quesadilla before biting into a long disgusting hair. When we sent it back we were told because he ate some of the food they still have to charge us for it. I have never heard of anything like this when a cook is at fault for having hair in the food and they still expect you to pay full price for a ruined meal and appetite.

most disgusting food i've ever had in my life my potatoes tased like rubber and the eggs were almost grey looking. the presentation was nice but wow was this so nasty. the breakfast burritos looked alright but the breakfast platter tasted like toy food.

Definitely doesn't deserve the 1.5 star rating that it currently has. Probably closer to a 3 or 3.5 star restaurant. Quesadillas were very solid.

Luisa was fantastic- speedy service and very sweet. The chips were lacking and the gauc was OK.

I had visited Mija in Boston and loved the food and drinks so we were happy to grab a bite there before our flight. The hostess was awesome and brought us to our table. After waiting about 15 minutes, our waitress finally came over and took our order of margaritas and nachos with chicken. The food and the drinks were made well. I wouldn't recommend going here because after getting out food, getting water or the check was impossible. Other restaurant goers got up and left because they had waited almost 30 minutes before seeing the server. Mijas at Logan needs to staff appropriately to not overwork the section.

No one acknowledges you. I sit. The server comes to take my order after 10 mins and is put out when I am not ready to order because I have no menu. She disappears and comes back w one. Puts it on the table w out a word. Doesn't ask if she can get me a drink...nothing. So I leave. If that's how it's gonna be, I'd rather get out before I ruin my morning.

I was so excited to have some Mexican while waiting for my plane. I was disappointed. The menu choices are very limited and the choices were nothing spectacular. Plus the prices are insane. The sangria ($18.50) was watered down. I would advise against the Mija burger($19.25) It was 2 Pattie's which is not noted, so it was way to much beef. It was over cheesy and no pepper salsa. It wouldn't even stay on the bun. The traditional salad($18.25) was good and the quesadilla($19.50) was ok. But the guacamole($17) was no better than jarred supermarket quality. They need more help too. Our waitress could not keep up. We were never asked if we needed or wanted more drinks. We were never checked on to see how we were doing. Last, they add the tip in which was not warranted at all! I will not be back.

You really hate to see it. Come here if you want your airport experience ruined. Just when I'm about to fly out Mija decided to SCREW ME OVER AND RUIN My vacation. Came here looking for a quick drink or two. Says it closes at 10 pm which is fine. I come in a little before 9 and completely ignored like I'm some peasant. Workers just sweeping the floors around me. Then of course here comes the attitude everyone these days has. How am I supposed to know you decided to close early? Pardon me for thinking the time was 10 since IT SAYS TEN!! Can't say how the food was but if it's anything like the attitude here you'll probably end up dead from food poisoning. Thanks take care !

Breakfast was yummy. Nothing too fancy and perfectly fine for an airport meal. Portions were absolutely huge. I especially appreciated the tables that had outlets available. My server Gabby was kind and extra attentive.

Mexican at 10:30 am? Since we were starting our vacation, why not! Our server Gabby was super attentive and friendly even though she was busy. The food came out quickly and the margaritas were delicious! We will be back the next time we are in terminal C!

Great food option at Logan Airport. I got there just as the breakfast hours were finishing and I ate at the bar. The bartender was so nice to talk to the chef and get my order in just in time. The Chilaquiles were perfect, the chef (I learned that he recently joined Mija from The Tall Ship Boston) used fresh ingredients and just the right amount of seasoning. Plus, he didn't load on the sauce and cheese like other places so that the chips were still a little crunchy. I don't usually expect a lot from airport restaurants so this impressed me. I'll definitely go back there again when I'm flying out of JetBlue Terminal C.

Absolute worst service I'd ever experienced. Staff took over 20 minutes to stop by between requests and I had to ask twice for my check. All customers seemed to have a similar issue.

i stood at the 'please wait to be seated' sign for fifteen minutes. there were less than twenty people in the restaurant. Most at the bar. Two tables were taken. No one indicated they had seen me. I could not catch the eye of anyone working there. There were at least five people working. The food may be good but the service is disappointing. I walked away because I just wanted breakfast. Or lunch. Or anything. This was at the terminal c location and it was not take out only.

Terrible service, do not go here if you want to enjoy your meal and stick around to watch part of a football game. They will push you out.

Service was generally slow. Ordered the chips and queso - it was straight up round sporting event/movie theater chips and jarred grocery store brand nacho cheese...absolutely not worth the $14 price. Disappointed.

Would have loved to enjoy a drink before my morning flight. Looked online to see opening times and they were supposed to be open at 8. Stood outside and waited while the workers slowly set up and restocked the bar. Walked away at 8:20 after the bar was still not open. Should have stayed at legal seafoods. Gave 2 stars because I never made it in to be able to discredit the service. As someone who works in a bar I know that we open at the opening time and continue to set up as we serve so I was pretty disappointed regardless of making it in or not.
