"Newly opened in the same Clairemont Mesa Boulevard mall as Zen Curry and Lolita’s Mexican Food, Mikami spans a whopping 6,000-square-feet of restaurant and bar space with a large glassed-in kitchen dedicated to kaiten-zushi, a convenient and affordable Japanese style of dining that sends plates of sushi on a circuitous conveyor belt route, winding past customers seated in each booth. Kaiten-zushi is also the specialty of the always-busy Kura Revolving Sushi, which has been open on Convoy Street since 2015. Currently open for lunch and dinner, Mikami prices all of its kaiten-zushi at $2.80 per plate. Guests can pull plates off the conveyor belt or order directly from a tablet installed at each table. The Kearny Mesa restaurant also features a separate bar and dining area pouring beer, wine, sake, and plum wine; it will eventually offer an eclectic menu that ranges from Cajun seafood buckets to yakitori, fried rice, sushi rolls, and salt and pepper chicken wings." - Candice Woo

The sushi here was good! I really enjoyed the à la carte option because you can bring your leftovers home. I think that the rolls were fair priced and tasted solid. The ambiance is very family friendly and relaxed. The service was great! The servers were very welcoming and thorough with the ordering process. Super nice staff!

Google
Great sushi, great staff, and a wonderful bright atmosphere! Fresh sushi always on the conveyor belt and the teriyaki glazed salmon bowl was amazing. Loved every bite.

Google
Do not choose the all you can eat if you like variety sushi. The presentation could use some work. The sushi does not look like it is fresh, not appetizing. The conveyor is empty and no revolving sushi happening. The IPad does not have much choices. A bit confusing to use. The tasty, properly prepared sushi you have to pay and not included in the all you can eat. They charge$4.00 per plate if you choose the a la carte and not the all you can eat. Staff are friendly. Towards the end of our meal we found out no working bathroom inside the restaurant or the bar so not sure how their employees relieve themselves. We paid and left the place. I vomited as soon as I got home and swear not to return to this place again. Definitely not recommending this place.

Google
The service was great and it wasn't that busy which was nice, however I prefer Kura food-wise I think the quality is better however Kura is usually way more busy. Idk how long the California rolls were on the belt but the avocado had already turned that brownish color when you leave it out too long so yeah. The nigiri was good though.

Google
First time eating here and I didn't expect much being in a strip mall, but it came through. A la carte dining is the way to go as all you can eat opinions are limited. Right by my work and the bus stop home to downtown San Diego! I'll be back!

Such a futuristic experience! Served by a robot and revolving sushi on a conveyor belt. It was so fun! And the food was delicious, so affordable too. I loved the all you can eat option!

Google
This place was such an experience my kids loved it and the servers/employees were really nice. It's so futuristic too; they have a robot that brings you your food and drinks. We're from Vegas; however, anytime we're back in town we're definitely coming back here again! Oh & also, the picture is of the desert which we absolutley destroyed before we could get a picture. Let's just say we loved it! It was so yummy!

Google
Wedgewood my son when visiting California this was a fun good place to try. Only wish they had more of a selection of the sushi the chefs for not putting out as much as we thought the variations were duplicated quite a bit.

Yelp
Erin, Allen, hector and the whole staff was awesome. Such a cool experience. Came with my aunt for impromptu dinner and came across this place! Sushi was great! appetizer were amazing! So full! And loved the tempura ice cream! Wil be back with my family! And also loved Mika the robot! Will be back again soon!

Yelp
food is -10000/10 but the server is wayy too nice she even apologized for something she didnt do WARNING!!!! DONT COME HERE FROM THE INSTAGRAM ADS ~ FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!!! came in around 5pm for AYCE place looks dark & empty sushi looks like its hella unappetizing, thought it was the lighting but then we tried a plate of salmon nigiri.. it was warm & sour inedible its probably just been sitting revolving for hours so we canceled the ayce & pay by the plate instead its 4$

Claire A.

Yelp
Service was good despite it was a slow day when we went in(weekday). Servers are attentive and always checks on us. 5/5 for service. For the ambience, it was a good clean space, music a little loud nothing stood out and shows a typical simple seating cubicles. Lighting can improve Food for $30 AYCE i would say if you are not picky with the type of sushi or nigiris it's okay. Wished they had more selection and i feel like they limit what they offer on weekends. During our time, they probably only served eel twice on the conveyor, then it never came back. It's either the Tamago, alaskan roll, california roll or tuna. Selection for AYCE is too limited for the price.

Yelp
This is my 2nd time having revolving sushi, but 1st time at Mikami. I was looking forward to it, but it was unfortunately not a worthwhile experience. Our duration was 90 minutes, but just before our 60min mark, the staff stopped making sushi & was cleaning, so the same rolls (from before we arrived) kept circulating. They were the ones that people didn't want over and over & the avocado rolls probably shouldn't be going around for over an hour. The ones we did eat were pretty decent, except for the krab nigiri, which looked & felt like an eraser. The place looks pretty cool inside, although the cooks looking over, through the glass, all the time felt kinda weird. I wish the wait at Kura wasn't over an hour, because that's where we like going & I understand why this place was mostly empty. It would've been a good deal if the sushi available was less basic & boring. Also, it was very spaced out & just felt like they wanted us to leave unsatisfied.

Yelp
Did you ever see "The Great Outdoors" starring John Candy? The steak scene? My experience at Mikami is similar, but swap our sushi instead. It's $30 All You Can Eat, but after 4pm it's $35. Kids are $15. They charge extra if you have any uneaten sushi on your plates. As soon as we sat down, each of my kids pulled off a plate of what we thought was NOT spicy rolls, but indeed they were spicy. So I took them and ate them. Round two. Also spicy. I ate those. You can see where this is going, right? I asked the server if there is a way we can tell if the sushi is spicy or not and he said it will say on the sign, but none of the signs had the word "Spicy" or any type of indicator (different color sign, a jalapeño symbol, a fire symbol...guys, i could go on here) The cat robot was adorable and brought me plenty of water to wash down the insane number of spicy rolls I was consuming. In the end, we had 18 plates of sushi and sweet Jesus we managed to make it out alive without having to pay an additional fee. The sushi itself was close to grocery-store quality, maybe even a notch lower. This place is all about the novelty of the conveyor belt and the kitten robot. But guys...the AYCE sushi isn't a great deal. You pay the price one way or another.

Han L.

Yelp
It's alright. 30 for lunch and if you're a student, 25. But, I got tired of the food because it wasn't as fresh as I wanted. I recommend ordering nigiri with the server if you want a lot.

Kyannah H.

Yelp
We were super excited to come here for a date back in February and even booked a reservation. When we got to the restaurant, they were closed and had a health code violation posted.... They didn't even call us to cancel our appointment or let us know that they'll be closed. Super disappointed

Joong Y.

Yelp
If I could give this place a 0, I would. Fish isn't fresh, servers don't check in on you, and it's $35 for all you can eat but all they have is California rolls and spicy tuna. Also, they don't wash the lids that are on top of the sushi plates on their conveyer belt. The stinky fish that they had gave us diarrhea for the next 3 days after eating here. 0/10 bring your business to Kura Revolving Sushi for a decent revolving sushi place or Little Sakana in Mira Mesa for much better AYCE sushi for the same price.

Yannis A.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience this time, around. Came here for lunch, chose the AYCE option; very few choices, I asked several times for simple plates like Salmon nigiri as the people preparing the plates kept loading the belt with rolls... Terrible to not have the basics (tuna, salmon) and all you had to choose is shrimp or rolls... Server was nice but can't make up for the offerings; if this is devolving to AYCE rolls, they should let the customers know so they can walk away if they so choose.

Rick T.

Yelp
If you are looking for good conveyor belt experience, this is not it.  If you're looking for tasty sushi, this is also not it.  If you are looking for good ambiance and service, sadly, this isn't it either.   If you are looking for good value AYCE, this is far from it. What this is, is an exercise in futility and frustration.  The novelty factor was all but over in 5 minutes.  It all started downhill when we were refused to be seated closest to where the conveyor belt started, even though there was plenty of empty booth seating that was all the same -- it was claimed to be reserved.  So we seated closest to the door far away from the starting point ... this should have been the first red flag. For most of the night, we sat staring at the empty conveyor belts going round and round and round with no food in sight.  Multiple tables all around us grew hangry and at the few plates of sad looking edamame, California rolls, and grapes with orange slices that sat unwanted, circling around like abandoned luggage with fleas, in an empty lonely airport terminal.   Finally, the wait staff took pity by taking direct orders, but that did little to assuage the disappointment that was already done.  Even though there was four of us, one order of masago per table (2 pieces)...they explained this was a management decision.  What?  Pouring more salt into wounds, we didn't have the energy to fight back and it didn't even sting anymore, as my daughters birthday dinner was already bummed out.  There were only two chefs making sushi, while there five servers.  This is on management for mismanaging the ratio of staff. Even if there was food, the quality was shockingly, or perhaps unshockingly poor.  It was the equivalent to grocery store sushi.  No, not hyperbole... actually grocery store is better as it was at least chilled.  The sushi temperature was warm, but by neglect and not design.  The fish to rice ratio heavily favors rice. Bottom line, go to Kura for a much more fun conveyor belt experience, at least you get a cheap plastic toy.  For AYCE, go to Little Sakana, Yakumi, or even the decidedly mediocre Olleh.

Yelp
Great sushi, Great ambiance, Amazing service! (Shoutout to Erin, constantly checked on our table and provided above and beyond service!) The revolving sushi bar was SO cool, and there is this cool little robot that comes around and talks to you and brings you your drinks! What a wonderful experience! We will definitely be going back!

Quynh N.

Yelp
We want to try the sushi with the rolling around and we remember this place has it. They change a bit that if you want to sit in the rolling bell, you have to go all you can eat. It's $35 per person. The food is not that great and not a lot of options to choose from. We saw the robot brining drinks and appetizers and my son was very excited. Maybe they saw that we has a toddler so they brought thr stuff in person instead of the robot. Customer service is really bad. Not friendly at all. First, we ask first extra wasabi and they never bring to us. We cannot ask first extra in the iPad either. Second we ordered the appetizer from the iPad and when the sever brought it out, he gave us a wrong stuff. He gave us gyoza instead of Takoyaki. When we told him, he was not happy and did not trust us. He was like let me see the order. I showed him and he didn't apologize, he was like okay.

Amber P.

Yelp
The only reason I'd choose Mikami over Kura is solely because of wait time. Nothing more. Mikami has very limited options in sushi and service is slow when requested for. Establishment was only about 60% filled on Mother's Day.

Tim H.

Yelp
Conveyor belt had mostly rolls, and selection was limited. Nigiri only showed up a few times during our AYCE visit. Items ordered through the ipad at the table took a long time to arrive.

Irene D.

Yelp
Mikami is one of the largest revolving sushi in San Diego! Mikami Revolving Sushi & Bar is a new "Kaiten" (Conveyor Belt) style restaurant. A variety to choose from on the menu including high quality all you can eat sushi, creative rolls, appetizers, and more. The flowers and plating presentation was a bonus! Servers were professional, kind, and did their best even on a busy evening. Come visit and experience "Mika" - a robot server! Kids also get a complimentary Mikami yo-yo that lights up! Featured a few of my faves... Conveyor belt rolls: Nigiri Hokkaido Scallop Crunchy Alaska Hot Night Nigiri Yellowtail Red dragon Special order (not part of all-you-can- eat): Nagoya Roll (this week only) Tonkotsu Ramen Assorted Sashimi Mikami Roll Las Vegas Roll Paparazzi Roll Ruffner Roll Mikami Fried Rice Beef Yokisoba Tempura Fried Rocky Road Ice Cream Matcha & Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream

Yelp
The rice was overcooked and overpacked onto all of the rolls. The serving size of the fish is so stingy, very thin, and OK quality. The servers were attentive and sweet, but the sushi chefs were very slow and I was sitting at the beginning of the track and still had to wait so long in between to get the things that I wanted. Too many strange options offered and not enough basic nigiri, also some signs would just be left there and you would anticipate something good coming and it would be empty. It was cute inside, but if you're looking for quality sushi I would skip over this place. For 2 people for the AYCE option it was $65, which is wayyy too much for the quality of food.

Andrew R.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere with mod decor and a robot that rolls up to your table with any special request items you order from the tablet at your table. Love the all-you-can-eat concept blended with the conveyor belt concept. I had my fill of what I wanted, but I did notice the salmon nigiri was on the "costs extra" list on the tablet. Luckily for me, it wasn't crowded, and I was seated at the very front of the conveyor belt, so I quickly snagged two little plates of salmon nigiri for no extra charge and didn't see any more the whole time I was there (apologies to other patrons, I didn't expect there wouldn't be any more). As others mentioned, too many rolls versus the limited selection of nigiri that came around, and the nigiri didn't get refilled very quickly once it was taken. My favorite was the seared salmon nigiri (a couple of plates of that came around, and I special ordered another for no extra charge). Kids must really go nuts when the robot comes to the table and delivers the special orders. It's not interactive but does talk. There is also a little wooden boat that apparently is for kids to play in by the windows in front. Fun stuff. Typical AYCE quality, meaning adequate not sublime. Lunch was $31. Better selection and quality at Kura conveyor belt sushi; much better price here if you're hungry.

Brian M.

Yelp
Subpar sushi at best, the change in ownership is very apparent from the first time we ate here. Not worth it at all

Cyra M.

Yelp
We came here on 1/15 for a special occasion and didn't have the greatest experience. However, the manager, Natalia, immediately got in touch with me to make things right. We made reservations for my twins' birthdays and were treated with such warmth, professionalism, and most importantly, the tastiest food & the most amazing experience! Jonathan, another manager, was equally as amazing! He was fun, attentive, professional, and clearly loves what he does. This is exactly what a great restaurant and its staff should do!!! This is now one of our fave restaurants and we will most definitely come back! Thank you so much Mikami!!!

Alyssa N.

Yelp
Sushi was fresh and there were so much options to choose from. Adriana was amazing the whole night and super attentive. Mika was adorable!

Brandon L.

Yelp
Wide variety of sushi and the quality is very good. I was surprised since the reviews were mixed but I had a great experience. Overall a great value for all you can eat conveyor sushi. Ambience is also great. I enjoyed the moving cart that delivers the hot foods from the kitchen. Remember to press the glowing button below the conveyor to send it back. Service was good too. Friendly and helpful with explanation. A serving robot delivered our waters to us.

Galang N.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday, right at the beginning of the dinner hours. Parking was easy and there was no wait for a table for 4. You can order individual items brought to your table by the monorail and drinks are initially brought by their cute cat robot server. Overall it was an efficient service. It's really standard in terms of the quality of food when it comes to AYCE fair. But the hand rolls were outstanding! They were absolutely filled with ingredients and really satisfying. We had the salmon, eel, and soft shell crab hand rolls. The tempura udon broth was a little sweet for my taste but the chicken karaage was a decent portion and crispy. I think it's worth a try at least once for the novelty.

LINA M.

Yelp
PROS: Cool concept for kids but food was cheap sushi. Its $35/person and kids over 5 are $15 I believe. They charged for my husband and I but said they won't for my son since it was our 1st time there which was nice of them. The sushi goes around in between booth seatings on a conveyor belt and you just grab whatever you want. They have coverings and you just leave the empty plates stacked on your table. Any leftover food is charged $1/plate which is not bad. I liked that you can easily grab the plates (unlike Kula Revolving Sushi) and the portions on each plate. Usually most sushi spots have a minimum of 8 rolls but these come in 4 pieces or 2 pieces of nigiri. If you don't see anything you want on the belt you can also order from the iPad and the robot brings it out. I enjoyed their mackerel nigiri, the tako roll on the iPad, and a roll that I forgot the name of from the belt. CONS: The tiniest bottle of peach sake cost $19 I was expecting the bigger bottle for that price which is what we usually get at other restaurants for only $16. The ayce menu options are VERY limited here. I'm used to having a bigger variety of kitchen/hot items but this place only had a couple and if you did want some of what's not included in ayce, you had to pay for the item a la carte. They didn't even have seaweed salad on the kitchen menu! Rolls and nigiris were also very few selections to choose from. I asked for wasabi, ginger, and spicy mayo but never got the spicy mayo and never reminded them. We ordered kitchen items and never got it until the end of our meal since supposedly the robot delivered it to another table. We were never notified until we asked for it. I'm also wondering why the other table took items they didn't order. The waiters never check up on you here. We had to flag them down more than twice. They have a big sign out front for rewards system. At the end of our meal they never asked if we had an account and after the fact I paid they said its too late to claim points for my bill since we already paid. Then we asked about the free items when you sign up: chopsticks or yo-yo. All they had left were chopsticks so the guy with the mad crazy dripping jerry curls just gave us 2 pairs. Lol all I could look at was his jerry curls whenever he was near our table.

Jackie G.

Yelp
Service was excellent, staff and our robot were very attentive. My family loved the revolving sushi. We also loved that we could order whatever we wanted and the belt or robot delivered it too. There was a huge variety on the menu and everything was fresh looking. The place was clean. The dining area is huge. We were there at lunch so it was quiet but it looks as though it must get busy at dinner time. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. Overall we had excellent service, quality food and a great experience. We will be back.

Carolina S.

Yelp
It was my first time here and I love it so much Totally recommend this place, perfect for family with kids

Martin L.

Yelp
Cool place w good sushi. Came here for the first time 2024. Had salmon; rolls; scallop; tamago; Spanish mackerel; Kids loved gyoza and miso. They also liked the delivery robot Mika.

Claire S.

Yelp
We were looking for another sushi place after realizing that Kura had over an hour's wait. After searching on google maps, we found this place. We added ourselves to the waitlist online so that we could be seated when we arrived. There is a Tesla charging station in the parking lot so we thought this would be a good place to get food while charging our car. When we arrived, we told the host that we added ourselves to the waitlist. He told us that it's faster to walk in than to add ourselves to the waitlist. We were confused about what he meant by that but he escorted us to our table. We were not given any direction on how to order and had to figure it out by ourselves. We ordered water and an appetizer from the tablet at the table. There were a lot of empty plates on the conveyor belt and I felt like the kitchen was understaffed and couldn't keep up with the conveyor belt. We spent a lot of time waiting to see sushi on the conveyor belt. It was a bit sad to see so many empty containers and barely any sushi. There is a mini bullet train that brings food to your table once you order it from the tablet. However, it kept getting stuck and the kitchen staff had to keep asking the customers to manually push the train back to the kitchen. In addition, the train wasn't very stable and there was a lot of soup/sauce spilling as it was on the way to the customer. We ordered the soft shell crab as an appetizer first thing when we sat down and it wasn't out to us until we almost finished eating when it came out. It came with the dipping sauce spilled out of the container and all over the plate which was a bummer. We almost canceled it because we had to wait 30+ minutes for it to arrive. I'd rather wait over an hour for another place than go here again.

Goosby T.

Yelp
Dined at Mikimi Bar & Revolving Sushi this past weekend for lunch. The sushi rolls were fresh and tasty. The service and servers were wonderful and knowledgeable. They just incorporated a drink menu from the restaurant next door which adds a nice touch for those who drink cocktails. There's so many rolls to choose from and their selection is wide range. Everything on the revolver is $4 which is a good price considering the other places around town. We'd recommend coming with a big appetite because there's so many rolls, appetizers, and hot dishes to try. We'll definitely be back for their lunch and dinner specials on the weekdays . Don't forget to follow @GoosbyTwins on your journey for more amazing LA SD & Beyond Travel | Cuisine |and Experiences!

Yelp
I've been coming here ever since it opened. Great food, atmosphere and service! Also the mochi ice creams are delicious.

Yelp
I was hungry, and I was in this plaza with the intention of buying Pho for my daughter. However, before bringing my daughter her soup, I wanted to eat a quick dinner. I saw the sign, and the revolving sushi caught my eye. This was perfect for me since I wanted to eat quickly. Luckily, I came before the dinner rush and was seated right away. The restaurant definitely had the feel of a diner, with booths situated next to the conveyor belts. This place was definitely twice the size of Kura! Figuring out happy hour, the AYCE, and the regular menu was a bit confusing, especially since the tablet on the table didn't have pictures of some of the items. Please note there are no BLUE plates. It was apparently replaced with white. The sushi selection on the belt didn't warrant an AYCE for me, so I just picked out three items from the belt, and the rest was ordered on the tablet. Cocktails: Sakarita flight. Loved the presentation. It looked cute and Instagram worthy. However, they were all way too sweet. It was hard for me to drink these. Also, the hot sake was sweet, I don't recommend it unless you're into hot, sweet sake. The happy hour wasn't very impressive, with only two items on the menu, which was a sake bomb and a sashimi platter. I did order both, though. Sashimi platter does take a while to come out. Salmon Hand Rolls: This was okay Sushito Peppers with bonito flakes: This was also good, but you can't go wrong with this app. Yellowtail Nigiri: This was just okay for me. Fish was a tad frozen, and it didn't have the smooth, silky texture that I was looking for. Sashimi platter: This was actually pretty good. The cuts of fish were lean and fresh. I was surprised to see octopus, and this was surprisingly tender and fresh. The seaweed salad and salmon roe was a nice addition to the platter. Managing the tablet on the table was an issue because there were technical errors that the staff had to correct. They also have a physical menu for drinks that was different from the tablet. Customer service was superb. However, in comparison to other AYCE, this place doesn't equate (ex. Little Sakana). Also, in comparison to Kura, the selection at Kura is better than here. Managing the plate situation is easier at Kura, whereas at Mikami, you need to save the plate and lids. Please note that the white plates on the belt were the same plates as the handrolls (ordered on the tablet) come in, so keeping the lids is important if you don't do the AYCE. I'm not sure if I would come here again considering there are better places to go in SD.

Dana A.

Yelp
Today we visited Mikami for the 3rd time. It was on a Thursday at 7pm for dinner. There was plenty of sushi on the belt, customer service was great! Lori especially was extra helpful. The gentleman who brought us our drinks was also wonderful. The quality of the food is great and you get a few appetizers and miso soup included in the all you can eat menu. A bit more variety on the belt would be amazing but overall great experience. Oh and if you come for your birthday- the robot will sing the 50 cent happy birthday song and they turn off the light of the entire place! And if you don't see a roll you want you can order it on the ayce sushi/nigiri.

Michelle N.

Yelp
We go to other sushi spots in the area but never tried Mikami - when we finally decided to try it at least once, it was definitely the first and only time we'd be here. - PARKING - There's a huge parking lot shared amongst all the other businesses in this plaza, so you'll never have an issue finding a spot. Maybe you'll park further but a walk never hurts anyone! - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - The main upside to going to Mikami versus other restaurants is that there's no wait at all. There are several tables available, but when we arrived only one belt was going. This was probably due to the fact that there were not many people dining in. The belt is definitely less high-tech and less supportive than other rotating sushi bars - there's no barrier that stops someone from taking a plate off the belt and putting it back on... the plates are only covered by a plastic lid that easily comes off, both of which are worrisome in a hygienic sense. The staff was very attentive though, and we appreciated them consistently checking in on us. - FOOD - AYCE ($35): We thought of the price being worth in relation to how many plates we would usually eat, and how much they cost per plate. We figured if we eat at least 10, we would make our money's worth, and it'd be better to do AYCE rather than a la carte. However, beware the selection here is VERY small, and there's not much variety to choose from. You only really have a handful of nigiri options, some rolls, and a few side dishes. The quality of the fish wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either. My personal favorites were the Truffle Salmon and the Seared Salmon. However I stopped pretty soon after we started eating as I noticed a child in another booth touching a few plates on the belt and not taking it off. - OVERALL - I personally wouldn't come back due to the lack of variety and quality, and my worry about cleanliness/hygiene in the restaurant. There's better options nearby, and I'll continue to going to other establishments instead.

Yelp
Not impressed at all. Not nearly enough variety of sushi. Except for the gyoza, every item was only meh. The staff was kind, friendly, and super accommodating but the product and ambiance need a lot of work. They kept bringing items that we did not order to the table; this is only a problem because the food is now being wasted. The lids on the sushi were not clean. Don't want to go on too much a tangent but the bathrooms! Lol this is a random complaint but why is the toilet so close to the stall door? I'm lucky I have shorter legs but even then, it was hard to maneuver in there. (TMI?) Anyway, was it worth 90+ dollars? Not one bit. I am giving (what a consider) a generous rating because of the staff but I will not be back.

Yelp
Service was okay. Nothing extravagant especially considering most of it is self-service (hence the revolving sushi). The food was okay. I can get better at some grocery stores. There's no deep fried rolls or any baked rolls. AYCE includes all the revolving sushi (again nothing to rave about) and a subpar separate ACYE menu. Two stars because it didn't make me sick. We also stopped without reaching our ACYE price match. Each plate ala carte is $4 and ACYE is $35 a person ($15 kids).

Yelp
I'm a huge sushi lover, so i was super excited to try a revolving sushi bar that was all you can eat. I gotta say I wasn't such a big fan. If you're looking for a variety of rolls then I wouldn't suggest this option. There was many items not included and none of the sides were, this was something I should've looked at beforehand. I saw other good reviews and decided to give it a shot! I would stil say to try it for yourself however just be aware that its more for the fun aspect that it revolves than for the actual sushi itself, it's meh. The service was very fast and helpful so at least I do have to say they are quite nice and make the experience better.

Yelp
The entire experience was unfortunately very disorganized and subpar. From the moment we walked in, our host was letting us know that we all had to order all you can eat to sit near the conveyor belt and that we wouldn't be allowed to change our minds later. No problem at all, but the way she said it made it seem like this is an issue they have all the time, and I felt like she was talking to us like we were little kids. They sat us at a table, and proceeded to warn us over and over that if we selected anything other than the all you can eat options on the tablet, we would be charged, so we needed to make sure NOT to press them. Ma'am, I'm an adult who came to spend money on food. Please stop warning me about spending money, it was weird. Then when we started eating the rolls, I thought it was whatever. I didn't enjoy the super thick rice, and most of the rolls weren't interesting to me. My party did find a lot they found good, but nobody really loved anything. Trying to get service is impossible, and even asking to get the plates cleared can take upwards of 20 minutes. Everyone was friendly enough, it just was a very awkward and long experience. Now for the ambiance. It is very bright and beautiful when you walk in and has cool artwork. Until you're there for the 2 hours we were, and you realize that the lights are basically fluorescent lights and they are making you feel super tired and drained like you've been sitting in an office cubicle. No one in my party would visit again. One girl said the fish was very fresh and she loved that part, but that given the service and the vibe, even she wouldn't revisit.

Yelp
UPDATE: 3yrs ago when they opened the spot WAS amazing, went in with my college daughter recently Short & Sweet Umm NO. We went in on a weekend afternoon not busy. Ordered drinks & we each had just grabbed plates from the belt. "Pop the 1st pick of shrimp sushi in my mouth as the drinks arrived, some movement on the belt caught my attention... a Roach crawled out of the belt housing and climbed on the metal display. Yeah, within 6 inches of our table, instantly the food from my mouth went into a napkin and I took a different napkin and grabbed the roach. Noooo nope". Told my daughter to not eat or drink anything we're leaving. Saw the mgr & gave an excuse that the weather was causing them to come out.... Offered to have us come back for free another time, Hard No. And we walked out. If management admits to knowing that you have roaches, then you know that your place Needs Closed to fumigate and then reopen. Don't blame the weather. Can definitely see the wear on the place & lack of upkeep.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor - Try an item on the menu before committing to AYCE. Nearly $40 for barely anything to choose from AND gross dry undercooked rice??? Not only that, they load up their nigiri with a lot of rice so you'd have to find a way to eat it all. If you look around the restaurant, you'd see people leave their table with lots of food unfinished. It's gross, underwhelming and a rip off. If you know sushi, go elsewhere.

Yelp
Mikami sushi bar was such a great time to dine in. We tried alot of different dishes being offer on the conveyor belt. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Once you get ur table if it's ur first time one of these hostess gives you a Lil schooling on how things work there. Besides just grabing what ever plates roll on by on the conveyor belt You can also order items from the menu from a tablet above your table and those get to ur table on a second conveyor belt. Overall a very fun and pleasant experience. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend this place. We had a blast.

Yelp
Be advised and turn away. Go to LITTLE SAKANA for AYCE instead. We ate here and did the AYCE experience only because KURA REVOLVING SUSHI had a long line. It's $35 for adults and $15 for kids. The price is fair if you expect to get a variety of sushi but that's not what happened. The choices are VERY limited. Hardly any nigiri!! No luck getting tuna or salmon. The conveyer was empty after almost every sign and it was just a bunch of California rolls dressed up differently. The sushi didn't even taste fresh but you could see that the same plates made a couple rounds without being grabbed. Appetizers, forget it!! Only miso, fries, takoyaki, and gyoza...

Yelp
Call me high maintenance (although I'm really not!), but I prefer my food, especially if it involves raw fish, made to order. This place is great - if you ignore whatever's going round... and round... and round... on the conveyor belt and simply order off the menu using the touch screen. Yes, I realize this defeats the general purpose of a revolving sushi bar, but it's honestly the way to go here to ensure maximum freshness. The Shinkansen bullet train that delivers orders directly to your table is as super cute as it is expedient, and if a staff member is needed (e.g. for drink or condiment refills), service is helpful and prompt. The one negative is that we were told to bus our own table by placing our plates and bowls at the next (empty) table, which seemed a little weird. Pro tip: sign up for the loyalty program and get a free tempura ice cream right away plus other rewards as you accumulate points!

Yelp
Great place and enjoyed the food. The train and robot that delivered the water was fun

Yelp
I didn't have high hopes for this place but I didn't think it would end up like this. Only giving 2 stars to the hostess who seated us and kindly explained the formatting of the ayce vs a la carte. The sushi was practically inedible. I had the tamago nigiri, salmon nigiri, shrimp nigiri, and another nigiri along with a spicy tuna crunch roll and edamame plus 2 miso soups. Miso soup is likely just sitting out in a giant pot in the back because it was just cold. The spicy tuna was alright. I'd probably prefer spicy tuna roll from a grocery store instead. The edamame was fine. There's really no way you can mess up edamame. Shrimp nigiri was ok too. As for everything else, I literally took a bite of it, then put it down. I felt like if I kept eating it, I would feel sick. Unfortunately the quality of the fish just tasted weird.

Yelp
Normally take pictures with reviews but this place not really worthy of it. The three stars are for the humor the greeter gave me when asked if I had reservations when clearly I could see this place as large as it was had at max two tables. Two ways to order a AYCE version and pay by plate ...went the latter route and glad i did ...sushi rice that I grabbed from conveyor belt tasted like it had been rotating for several days ...if you want revolving sushi that is fresh best go to Kura down the road

Yelp
I visited Mikami with a group of eight and had a highly disappointing experience. Despite making a reservation, the staff initially refused to accommodate us at a single table, instead offering two separate tables. After much insistence, a server reluctantly moved the tables together. The service was abysmal. The staff appeared disinterested and unwilling to work, contributing to a very unwelcoming atmosphere. Additionally, there was no mention of the automatic gratuity charge, leading us to tip extra despite the poor service. The food was mediocre at best. I strongly advise against the all-inclusive option; the items included are subpar, and it's better to order à la carte if you choose to dine here. I'm not one to usually complain, but this experience was exceptionally disappointing.

Yelp
Wonderful service and ambiance! Food was wonderful and kids loved it. It was a super fun concept with the sushi revolving. They even have a hot kitchen option that is part of the AYCE. Will definitely be back

Yelp
Came when it wasn't busy on a Friday afternoon and the food got better! Quality of the food was good. I did hear things that this place was lacking on the food and not being as great but our visit we left with happy stomachs and majority of the food ordered was delicious! Staffing was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The food selection was great as well and love their robot Mika dropping off our drinks/food. If you're second guessing I would give them a try again! Did not disappoint.

Yelp
Delicious and fun. Our kids love the ordering experience with the conveyor belt and robot delivery. Sushi is good for the price. And the all you can eat/kids eat free specials they have regularly are great options.

Yelp
We enjoyed our dining experience with a variety of options. The nigiri and sushi was on par with other places in the area. Props to Mika, the cat robot, who kept us hydrated!
