So I was in the mood for a hearty breakfast option early on Saturday and the other options around that area were either closed or only took cash. I ordered the “crack” and I sort of regret it. For me, WAY too much meat. In fact for the second half of the sandwich I opened up and removed most of the meat. If I was going to go back I would definitely order their basic breakfast sandwich. That being said the egg portion of the sandwich was REALLY well cooked. Seasoned nicely, and the yolk nice and jammy but not too runny as to make a huge mess when you bite into it (not that I mind that particularly but it is very messy). I also ordered a hash brown and that was definitely the biggest disappointment. Sub McDonalds offering. You can get much better hash browns at any Dunks, and that’s not a high bar. But still the eggs and bread were really nice and I would definitely consider coming back and just getting their basic sandwich. The crack was way too heavy and the bacon wasn’t crispy.

Mike & Patty’s completely changed how I feel about English muffins, before them, I didn’t even like them! Their English muffins are hands down the best I’ve ever had: perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. Another standout is the house mayo, tangy with just the right touch of garlic. Everything is consistently delicious. Highly recommend!

Google
For those seeking a top-notch breakfast sandwich, Mike & Patty's outpost in High Street Place delivers. On a recent visit, two classic breakfast sandwiches hit all the right notes, proving to be an excellent and satisfying choice. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation were evident, making for a truly enjoyable meal. This experience was nearly perfect, earning a solid recommendation. However, a small detail prevented a full 10/10 rating: the additional $0.50 charge for sriracha ketchup. While a minor point, offering this popular condiment as a complimentary option would elevate the overall value and customer experience to an even higher level. Despite this small critique, Mike & Patty's at High Street Place is a must-try for breakfast sandwich aficionados. The delicious food speaks for itself, and with a slight adjustment to their condiment policy, it could easily be a flawless experience.

My go to breakfast since our office moved up to Federal St is Mike & Patty’s! Orders are always made fresh, workers are friendly and helpful and this Mission Breakfast burrito is so good I almost forget to eat lunch! Always appreciate that my order is ready for me at the quoted time and still hot when I get to my desk! Delicious! Thelefthandedbox approved!

Google
Soooo delicious! Affordable, modest hole in the wall that really knows how to make their sandwiches. Each ingredient was well made, generous portions, every bite was so good! Sandwich was also filling. Got the “Fancy”. There’s 2 barstool counter seats- very tight squeeze esp when there’s so many customers walking in and out for orders.

Google
Great breakfast sandwiches! Baller and The Fancy were great. They are located in a food court and there’s good seating in an atrium under a big glass ceiling (walk straight and to the right from the place). The coffee place right opposite is great!

I’m from NY originally so I’m a bit of a breakfast snob. This egg sandwich was fabulous! Homemade English muffin was delicious and so fresh. My son told me about it because he loves your breakfast burrito. I definitely recommend and will order again. Thank you!

Google
Mike and Patty’s is the go to when you need a solid breakfast to leave you full and focused. The mission breakfast burrito is crunchy, flavorful, and vegetarian! Super nice staff who work very hard.

Yelp
Love the gooey, crispy and savory of the breakfast sandwiches. Even the Nutella was yum. Our favorite was the fancy. Note the cheese pull.

Yelp
Mike & Patty's is a fantastic spot for a no-fuss, delicious breakfast sandwich. I've had two sandwiches from here--the Maple Clucker and the Breakfast Grilled Crack--and both were incredible. The Maple Clucker had the perfect balance of savory and sweet, while the Breakfast Grilled Crack was packed with layers of flavor that made every bite amazing. The place is tiny, more of a grab-and-go spot than somewhere to sit and relax. The food is definitely worth it, but be warned--the sandwiches are messy! With all the delicious fillings, they tend to spill out, so you'll need some napkins. If you're in the mood for a tasty, no-frills breakfast, this place hits the spot. Just don't expect a quiet sit-down meal--it's all about great food and quick service here!

Yelp
While I may not be enough of a bacon expert to entirely appreciate the imported-from-Spain bacon on the $10 Baller sandwich, Mike & Patty's is certainly a skillful purveyor of egg sandwiches. The science of finding the right amount of runniness is a secretive one, known to a few hush-hush labs at MIT and a small number of delis. Service was friendly and fast giving me more time to pursue Boston adventures.

Yelp
The crack sandwich is so good!!! Iots of cheese so be warned but delicious- even better with a hash brown added. Very fast service and the good hall is so cool inside!

Yelp
The original Mike's and Patty's is a bit far for a workday treat, but now they've made their way to the Downtown area. For a time, I found myself treating myself to a stop at Mike and Patty's at High Street for one of their big, delicious chocolate chip cookies. Take a gander if you are hankering for something sweet, but not outrageously sweet.

Yelp
I got the Fancy and it was delicious! They are pretty quick making them and you can tell it's fresh. The food hall is cool with plenty of options if you want a beverage or snack of a different variety to accompany your sandwich.

Yelp
Seriously, run don't walk here! I kept hearing they have the best breakfast sandwich in Boston so I had to try it. The fancy was AMAZING. Plenty of bacon, crisp bread and not greasy at all. It is a little messy but that didn't take away from how much I enjoyed it. I can't wait to go back and try more of their sandwiches. The location in High Street Place was a quick and easy stop on the way to work.

Yelp
Heard sooo many raves about this spot and as a lover of breakfast sandwiches, I had to stop by! This location was more conveniently located to where I was, so I opted to visit here vs. their original location. They're located in a food hall! I ordered the Fancy, which comes with fried eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, avocado, red onions, and mayo on a multigrain bread. I thought the sandwich was good, but not great - I loved how well the bacon, eggs, and cheese integrated with each other. The bites of red onion every now and then was also refreshing, though the bread was a bit dry. You order on a self-serve kiosk here. There's limited seating in the dining hall, but it was convenient for a grab and go meal. My sandwich came out probably about 5-8 minutes after ordering!

Yelp
Omg seriously one of the best places in Boston. I've tried the bacon crack and sausage and egg muffin. So good. The crack sandwich has the most perfect crispy bread ever and a bunch of thick bacon. They use super fresh ingredients highly recommend

Yelp
Food was delicious! Best breakfast sandwich I ever had! Totally worth the trip! Orange juice was also very as well!

Yelp
Solid breakfast sandwiches though bit on the pricier side. I ordered the baller during my visit. The English muffin was perfectly toasted and the cheese and eggs were griddled to perfection. Only knock was that there wasn't much bacon added. Enjoying the sandwich in the High St food court atmosphere was really nice though

Yelp
Do you love eating breakfast, specifically breakfast sandwiches? Mike and Patty's is the place to get your breakfast sandwiches on. M&P's has a varieties of breakfast sandwiches. I had the Fancy and the Carolina Caviar and both were delectable and messy to eat, but so worth it. The runny egg yolks and all that cheese from both sandwiches were sinful. I loved the Carolina Caviar, it was lush and creamy and their house-made English muffin was incredible. I will try the grilled crack next time. The hash browns, golden, brown, and delicious with some ketchup is the perfect companion to these breakfast sandwiches.

Yelp
We had stopped at the High Street Place Food Hall for breakfast on a Saturday. They had just opened at 9am, pretty empty with a lot of police officers and construction workers in line at Mike and Patty's. The food hall offers a lot of choices and plenty of seating. We ordered the grilled crack to split and a coffee. Just over $20. Ordering was quick and food was ready to go pretty quickly. The sandwich was like a breakfast grilled cheese, all warm and ooey gooey. Perfect comfort food for the brisk morning. The coffee was good and not too strong.

Yelp
I ordered the Fancy, a solid sandwich that was cheesy, eggy, and tied together with the creamy mayo. If anything it was a little overpriced for the size - I could have eaten two of them!

Yelp
Breakfast sandwich spot inside the High Street Food Hall. First time here, tried the "Grilled Crack" sandwich- fried egg, extra bacon, cheese (Swiss, cheddar, Gruyère, American) on buttered sourdough. When I read the name of the sandwich, I expect a sandwich that is mouth-watering and loaded with unique flavors and/or flavor combinations. I don't think the sandwich quite lived up to its name (little misleading), but it was VERY yummy. The sandwich was hot and fresh, the 4 cheeses all melted together perfectly, the bread was in fact buttery, the yolk broke after the first bite, and there was a substantial amount of bacon. I would definitely come back to have another breakfast sandwich (several of them sounded amazing). Service is also very fast, which is convenient when you're hungry!!

Susan R.

Yelp
The limited menu is actually a plus to me- there was a good variety of options, so not difficult to find the right thing. The coffee was delicious as well. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
Loved Mike and Patty's! Quick service, fun location, and tasty sandwich! A little on the greasy side, but can't turndown a vegan breakfast sandwich!

Yelp
Two months ago, I dropped by this breakfast place in the High Street Place food hall. Having heard the great reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I ordered the grilled crack sandwich and a cup of orange juice. The sandwich came with fried egg, bacon, and 4 types of cheeses(American, Swiss, gruyere, and cheddar) on a grilled sourdough. It was so delicious! One of the best breakfast sandwiches I had in a while.

Michael F.

Yelp
As a person from California this was good asf the hashie was hashin. The service was quick and polite. The cheese was phenomenal. I'd give Boston another NBA championship if they moved one spot out in LA

Yelp
I originally discovered the original location via Yelp. The ambience isn't as nice here, but ample seating in the food hall. And the Grilled Breakfast Crack sandwich is just as sublime.

Brendan R.

Yelp
Carolina caviar was good, add avocado to it though. They're quick too. This location is in the food hall.

Yelp
TL;DR - The Fancy is an excellent breakfast sandwich; it is meaty, cheesy, and eggy. Onion adds some welcome freshness, but a little more is needed. Avocado is a nice touch, and I wish there were more. I had written almost 200 words haranguing this place for their "fancy" not being fancy enough. I had even brought up a "date" and the Cheesecake Factory. However, after giving it another chance, I can say: "I get it now!" At least, I hope so. I deleted all 192 words and am starting fresh. It was all about expectations. I read "avocado and red onion," I expected a proper slather; for the avocado and onion to be as prominent as any other ingredient. Instead, I got a schmear and was a little salty about being shorted avocado. Then, having it the second time, I thought: "maybe that's the idea? It is supposed to be a schmear." I absolutely want to give credit where credit is due. This sandwich was delectably cheesy, they did not skimp on the bacon, and with eggs being worth their weight in gold, I will not say 'no' to two eggs. Due to the cheesiness and meatiness, the sandwich was a bit heavy on salt, though this is understandable and forgivable. Where I felt it fell a little short was the avocado and the onion. The ingredients, which I assume are supposed to make this thing "fancy." Despite its use as a schmear, I would have liked more avocado. Especially because it would take unto itself some of that extra salt. Furthermore, what I felt the sandwich lacked was more of a fresh element. The onions got it halfway there; all there needed to be was more of them. Finally, I want to give them kudos for having hot sauce available. Now, unfortunately, to my taste buds, this one lacked heat. I wish there were an extra spicy option for daredevils like myself. While this sandwich was unquestionably a step above Dunkin' or Starbucks, it was great as far as gourmet breakfast sandos go. Still, it did not blow me away sufficiently to earn the fifth star.

Yelp
Tbh I wasn't too impressed with this location. I wanted to go the original location but it was too far for us to get there, I wish we'd made the effort to get there, Mike and Patty's has been on my list for literally a decade! The food court was nice but every city is getting/had a food court now (it's pretty unoriginal now). The sandwich came wrapped in foil and make the toasted bread go soggy. The sandwich wasn't as fat I've seen it in photos. Kinda just unimpressed tbh, average at best. My husband got the burrito but it needed to be mixed, one side was egg, the other the rest of the filling and it wasn't wrapped well.

Yelp
Always awesome! Traveling from West Coast - we have nothing like M&P! Love this place

Amy K.

Yelp
Very difficult to find in the food hall but worth the effort. We had three different breakfast sandwiches. They were all well prepared and tasted great.
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
Egg-cellent breakfast sandwiches! A much better option than the fast food places around. You can taste the quality ingredients they use. A bit pricey for what it is, but then again, so is everything else in the city - but I'd still recommend checking them out!

Yelp
Got the Grilled Crack. It was good but pretty greasy and really rich. Would be a good sandwich to share with someone. I wanted to go to the OG location but this was easier for me. I didn't realize it was a food hall. Most of the stalls were closed in the morning and the seating was blocked off so I had to walk to a nearby park to eat.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday morning to the address that was given to me on google maps. It is located inside a food hall. It took about 10 mins for us to find because it was hidden in the comer. My partner and I got the Fancy sandwich without cheese. It consist of two fried eggs, bacon, avocado, red onions, and house mayo on toasted multigrain. The red onion was a little overpowering but other than that the sandwich was really good ! We also added a hash brown inside the sandwich which was $2 extra. My partner and I shared half and we were surprisingly pretty full from it. Def a must visit when coming to Boston. The food hall is beautiful with a lot of seating and clean bathrooms.

Yelp
The Vegan One at Mike and Patty's has got to be one of my favorite breakfast/brunch sandwiches! I especially love the balance of savory and sweetness. The best part is definitely the oyster mushrooms, which is mixed with a delicious maple-srircaha sauce. I never liked Just Egg before I tried this sandwich, and they definitely converted me! The way that it is cooked to brown on the outside makes it a really nice texture. The vegan smoked gouda also adds another depth of flavor and is sort of the cherry on the sundae to the sandwich. I also love the softness of the English Muffin! Looking forward to more of the Vegan Ones at Mike and Pattys!

Emily J.

Yelp
Really good food. Service was quick and there was plenty of cheese on both. So much bacon on the grilled crack one. My favorite was the grilled crack.

Emaan S.

Yelp
went to try the fancy, but they ran out so i ended up getting the grilled crack (without bacon) instead. it was really delicious, but a little too greasy and cheesy. i love cheese, but honestly felt a little sick after eating this lol. so go try at your own risk....

Maureen D.

Yelp
GO! It was the best breakfast sandwich ever! Didn't watch them make it but heard all the vibe from from the cooks, such fun! Whenever I I took my first bite, I was sold! It made the ending to a great night and morning in Boston! Will make it a point to go there, on any Boston visit!
