Mike's Crab House North

Man, oh man — these were some of the best crabs I’ve ever had! We ordered the large male crabs and they were incredibly tasty, seasoned to perfection. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re a true crab lover. We went on a Saturday and had to wait about an hour to be seated, but it was well worth it. The price was a bit on the higher side ($120 a dozen), but honestly, that’s pretty standard for the area. We also had the Rum Punch — super flavorful and strong in all the right ways. Drinks were top-tier. Highly recommend this place for a solid seafood experience.

Food well... the crabs always amazing. Not the cleanest.. busboy not in a rush to clear out tables. And my waiter was extremely slow manager gave us some crush drinks so my party was satisfied I wasn't with the service. The wait wasn't long however it was blazing hot outside and we needed water constantly. Outside of that. Great crabs!

This was my first time there and I was pleasantly pleased. We went for the all you can eat crabs and they were just how I like them. Full of flavor, hot, not overly seasoned and meaty. The view was great and spacing between tables appropriate. In the beginning our server was not attentive but once we had her coworker get her, she had began checking on us regularly. I would definitely recommend this eatery to everyone.

Seafood place. We got chicken kabobs, fried shrimp, seafood platter, and crab soup. All were pretty darn good. Appetizer was crab dip with plenty of crab in the dip. Waitress was on the ball with refilling drinks. Also got dessert....nutty buddy which was huge and tasty. Pretty good place. Parking can be a challenge.

Dropped in for dinner at Mike's North for some seafood and they didn't disappoint. They had a $20 Lobster special and I ordered the fried seafood platter. Our server was fast and friendly and the outdoor view is priceless.

Beautiful atmosphere, especially for outdoor meals in the hours before sunset. We had the Chesapeake wings and the crab cakes as well as a few of the crushes. Everything was delicious, particularly a fan of the creamsicle crush. The crab cakes were classic Maryland style with plenty of lump crab and very little filler if any. Mike’s is a great place for dates, celebrations, and soaking up the summer.

The appetizers I had, crab dip and Boom Boom Wings were just ok. They only had medium males left when we got there and they were MID at best. Very light some were mushy. The fried green beans were delicious though

I came here for crabs since this location is closer to home, and my past experience on Riva Road had me excited to do it again. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to my expectations. The all-you-can-eat crabs are only available Wednesday through Saturday, and when we went, the crabs were much smaller than I prefer--just not as satisfying to pick through. There's an automatic 18% gratuity added, which I wouldn't normally mind, but it did make me wonder if that contributed to our server's lack of attentiveness. We barely saw them, and our drink orders took a while to arrive. The waterfront views are definitely a highlight, but between the small crabs and the lackluster service, I don't think I'll be returning to this location.

IYKYK...just in case you don't...let me tell you!! I'm visiting my home state Maryland and my cousin suggested Mike's. Such a great suggestion! It has been a while since I had MD steamed crabs..we opted for all you can eat crabs for 50.00. The 3 of us ate and enjoyed crabs and cocktails!! Our server Yonny was top notch, he ensured we were well taken care of. We we also celebrating my cousin's birthday, Yonny surprised her with complimentary birthday ice cream and cake!! The setting was on the water and it was beautiful!! We enjoyed our visit.

Always a great time whenever I visit here! Service is great, sitting by the water getting a breeze while listening to live band was just what I needed. Food was good, tried the hamachi fish -was flaky but reminded me of Cod fish, came with fries and pickle. Enough to share so portions were adequate. Shrimp salad sandwich was good-large shrimp just needed additional seasoning. The crab stuffed potato skins were tasty as well. I think they're afraid to add seasoning but will give you a container of old bay to add accordingly.

My friend and I decided to go for the all-you-can-eat crabs. Pull up to the parking lot. It didn't appear to be too crowded. We arrived a little after 7pm. The first thing we see is a sign on the store stating no all-you-can-eat crabs. BID DISAPPOINTMENT. OK so we get past that. I can't remember how much the offered the medium crabs for but, the offered a dozen of large for $100.00 a dozen. Ok so we decided to order the large and an order of the crab dip shrimp. The crabs were a big disappointment as far as size. Some were meaty and some were not. The crab dip shrimp was pretty delicious. I ordered an hybrid crush which had orange and grapefruit in it. I didn't care for that at all. I then ordered a creamsicle crush. It was definitely better than the hybrid crush. Overall the dining experience was ok. The outdoor seating had an amazing view. It was awesome watching the sunset. I did place a carryout order of steamed shrimp, coconut shrimp and the crab cake sandwich with fries that came with a pickle spear. That order was to eat the following day. Now what I can say is I enjoyed all of my carryout food. It was delicious. I even shared with my sister. I would come again but, I wouldn't set my mind on getting crabs or drinks.

I finally visited this location during the summer, and I'm really glad I did! We sat outside on the deck to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. We ordered the large male crabs, steamed shrimp, crab balls, and hush puppies, and everything was incredibly tasty. I also enjoyed the live band that was playing. If you like crab sauce, you can purchase condiments to make your own dip and take them home afterward. Pros: Nice view on the water Great food/drinks Chill spot Cool staff Nice entertainment Cons: Waiting for my check took a long while

I had a great time here even though they did not have any AYCE crabs available we got a dozen of large and a few other menu items...we sat outside and the view was lovely...our drinks were good different flavor of crush than I am used too our waiter was a little overwhelmed but she did a good job checking on us overall I will be going back

Always a great experience at Mike's Crabhouse North. The staff was friendly, good views on their outside deck, an AYCE (all you can eat) crab option, and they don't mind bringing you a pitcher of water for the table! AYCE adds an automatic 18% gratuity to the entire bill and they make it easy to add extra based on the level of service you receive.

So, had a hankering for crabs so we went to Mikes North in Pasadena. Hubby doesnt eat crabs so he asked what "market price" was on the Broiled Seafood Combo was. We were told $21.00 by our server, so that is what he got with a salad and fries while I got the AYCE crabs. The server was beyond unattentive. We waited 30 minutes before any food came to the table, then 25 minutes after being seated, Hubby's entre came before his salad - still no crabs. He was 1/2 way thru his salad before seing a live salad bug. Needless to say, waiter was called and salad was sent back. 10 minutes later, he returned with another salad and my crabs. Waiter was almost invisible. We did get 1 drink refill and 1 refill of crabs. Asked for the check and noticed the price on the seafood combo was $38 not $21 as we were told. When we asked, the reply was "hmm, they must have just raised the price - last week it was $21". We asked to speak to a manager - who took forever to come to the table. Her response was "oh no, just the crabcake alone is $21. He is new and today is his 1st day. It has never been that price, sorry. I'll have to talk to him". And walks away to find him. In addition to paying $17 more for a meal than expected, you automatically pay 18% gratuity for the AYCE no matter how bad the service is. Dont get me wrong, Im not asking for anything free, but if you quote me a price, I expect to be charged that price. Nothing was done to resolve the problem. I understand he was new and mistakes happen, but this was unacceptable. Very poor response and attitude on the managers part.

Delicious fresh seafood and amazing live music! Our favorite dish was the oysters. We enjoyed the outdoor deck on the water. I would recommend this place.

Nice looking place. The food was okay. Seafood combo was just okay not a lot of favor. My said the same thing about his cheese burger. Sorry I will not go back.

Everything was delicious. Hot and made to order. The crabs were fresh and delicious. The Crab Oysters and Crab Stuffed Shrimp were such a great appetizer. The Snow Crab legs were meaty. The drinks were strong and on point. Ask for John he was the perfect server. Friendly, courteous, he made some great food recommendations, anticipated my every needs and when it was time to bring me a nice cold beer to go with my crabs. Sitting on the deck was so pleasant, with the umbrellas for shade and a nice cool breeze. And the view......Amazing. Plus the live band was an added touch. I will definitely be back.

Never Again! Restaurant service was incredibly bad and we are patient people. Food was just ok when it finally arrived, if it arrived. Some meals were incorrect and sent back. Clearly there is a problem. What a nightmare. Unfortunately for us there was an 18% automatic gratuity added for a party of 4, really??? Never Again! Service at tiki bar was great! Peter James singing eased the pain. He was great!

On 6 July, at the recommendation of a friend, I traveled out to Pasadena to eat at Mike's. I was absolutely NOT disappointed! The food, ambiance, and service were worth the trip. I ordered buffalo shrimp, cream of crab soup, fried green tomatoes, a crab cake sandwich with fries, and a delicious margarita on the rocks with salt. Oh, and the view was breathtakingly beautiful!

Great time tonight. Outside seating on a beautiful night. Three of a Kind played on the deck. They were great too! Server - Crystal - was fantastic and very attentive. The food, well, the food, is Always fabulous! Fried and raw oysters, crab balls, stuffed mushrooms, and fries. Can't go wrong here, folks!!

Very very poor. Came here for AYCE Crabs that opened at 4 p.m. and by 5 pm they "ran out" of them but they didn't tell us until we waited 40 minutes for a table, having arrived at 430 pm. I've come here a lot every year but no more. Absolutely deceptive advertising! Rude front desk staff too. Hard pass on the non existent hard crabs from Mike's!!

Great food, great drinks , good atmosphere. They have pizza believe it or not and it is good! they have a great deck where you can eat outside and enjoy the harbor. For those day drinkers during the summer they have a bar on the deck to enjoy food and drink, easily a good time!

What can I say about my experience dining here at Mikes today with my family. It did not meet our expectations, the crab was good, we ordered 1/2 dozen, although we only ate 4 1/2, they served little hot butter and it became hard very quickly, we ordered mahi mahi with crab and the fish had no flavor and was not good I shout out what I can think that they took it out of the freezer and heated it, there was no time to defrost and cook it, there was a need to add salt and lemon to eat the parts that were cooked, I ordered the crab cake and I gave it a 3 for not having good seasoning. They bring you sauces for you to dip but you are paying a very high price not to enjoy and savor the food, it is definitely not something to return to, and the price is overestimated by the experience. Sorry but is my experience today

Cool water front place, with live music lots of seafood options. This was maybe my third visit didn't have to wait for a table on Saturday nights was surprising

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I occasionally come to Mike's when they have their all you can eat crabs. I have created two viral TikToks so far to promote this restaurant. The crabs are so good and flavorful and the all you can eat price is a deal! The outdoor seating overlooking the water is breathtaking.

Our food was delicious and Michele took really good care of us. Friendly atmosphere combined with good food is Spot on.

Our nephew, his new bride and his dad took my sister and I here as we were visiting from the West coast. We had a tray of crabs, French fries and nutty buddies for dessert. The place is very busy and in a great location. As busy as they were, we were able to be seated at a table inside right away. Service was great and the atmosphere was pretty cool. It was good to have a great time catching up, eating some good grub with family. I would definitely want to come back here and try out more of the menu as we enjoyed our time and food there.

I had a great small meal tonight, a glass of Pinot Grigio and oysters Rockefeller. Unlike another reviewer, I thought they were delicious. Cheese whiz bah! Not at all! Fresh spinach , onions, a few bacon bits and cheese. 6 big oysters. I think the cheese was mozzarella. It was mild and complimented the oysters. Price was reasonable and waitress was attentive and friendly. All in all , I will be back!

Did a carry out order and the service was very good. The guy was very nice and pleasant on the phone, helpful too. This is a place my family comes to for crabs and such so I know anything you get will be well worth it. The bar area always looks like a good time too!

I took two different sets of friends to this location last year. We all had an amazing time. The rules for the AYCE are no joke haha! Last year the last seating was at 2 this year its 7pm! Exciting :). We will go again this weekend, cannot beat the price of the AYCE crabs, they are medium sized but you have to know you aren't getting jumbo's for that price right? We have always had an good experience here, even though the wait can be a little long, its ok, the ambiance is amazing.

Came for the $50 all you can eat crabs today. It was a group of us and we had been waiting for weeks. They opened at 4 and some of our group was there by 3:30. Well, we ordered apps, told them lay the paper on out and all! Apps came and we then proceeded to put our order in for the crabs only for them to say that there were no crabs! Can you imagine the frustration?! Their option was to bring a couple dozen am/med to the table for $110. After trying to debate what to do they said the truck came and they would honor it. So we were excited. First round down in about an hour. Well..... it's been 45 mins and we're still waiting for the second round. Today may not be celebrated/understooby most but it is a holiday Juneteenth!! Business owners please do yourself a favor, research ALL things!! We heard a lot of excuses. We were comped drinks as we continued to wait. Lastly, after waiting over an hour we asked how we could be compensated and they reduced our bill to the $110 for the crabs. It was quite a drive to only get a few crabs. May try again before the summer is out but would have to ensure that they have a full stock.

Nate was the best!! He made sure I had my Oysters Rockefeller and Steamed Crabs! Drinks are very refreshing!! I will definitely be back again!!

The food I'd consistently great. I especially love the crab dip, potato skins and the coconut shrimp. Service is excellent and the view is very relaxing outside

We tried the new Mike's Inland at the old Sunset restaurant. They did a nice job updating the decor. The food was good; no complaints about the taste or portion sizes. However, for a $100 dinner (after the tip; 2 adults, each having a cup of soup and an entree) I expect my beverage to be served in something better than a disposable plastic cup. Also, the choice of 2 sides is limited to a salad or coleslaw, and a baked potato or fries. Period. And "no substitutions"! Again, for the price, how about offering some other options, like... I don't know... maybe some vegetables? It will be a while before we go back.

Our first visit. We had the crab dip, crab cake, and fried shrimp. Everything was cooked to order and I enjoyed my drink. Atmosphere was nice. We sat indoors as it was extremely hot outside. Our waitress was also very pleasant. We will definitely be visiting again as I was interested in crab legs. They didn't have any but according to our waitress they'll be returning to the menu in the next few weeks.

3 Stars because it's in the water Service was mediocre we literally had to ask several times for water refills and it was only 2 of us. We still tipped her well. Crabs great in size poor in quality and taste - no stars here. If I were to go again crabs as much as I love them will not be on my list to order. A sheer waste of money Drinks - I only ordered an old fashion and it was basic no frills although it didn't taste like Knobs Creek but again I'll watch the bartender next time if there is a next time. We came here for my birthday! The food of course was amazing! We had all you eat crabs and appetizers! More importantly we had some of the best service! First shout out to Tank, she is the best hostess and really accommodated I desire to sit outside. Then Nate was our server and he was THE BEST and made the entire outside sing Happy Birthday to me! We shared this with Kristina one of general managers and she made sure to acknowledge his great service! I highly recommend coming here the vibe is everything and the service feels Like family!!

Excellent place for crabs. Always good atmosphere. Carly our server always checks on how everything is and friendly. Makes us want to return for another great day at mikes north.

Loved it! Had a fabulous time here. Best waitress ever... LEXI. Crabs were huge, oysters were fresh, shrimp were amazing and we had some Bourbon Crushes that were delicious. Large menu selection for appetizers, sandwich and seafood entrees. Variety of crushes and others drinks on menu but also full bar available. We sat inside due to cold weather in May but there is a large outdoor deck area and full bar there as well that overlooks the marina. Large lot with free parking. Bathrooms were clean. Love it here!

Vibe is perfect. Restaurant is clean, and the staff is absolutely amazing (especially in the indoor bar). Orange Crush is subpar for being a MD Seafood spot but still decent -- they do get slammed with them so not too upset about them batching it. Clams Casino was way over salted, but the bacon cheddar oysters were delicious. Crab cake was pretty filled with lump crab and well seasoned, but I did have a TON of shell in there. The sandwich was served on a 10 cent Walmart roll too, so that was a bit of a turn off. Fries were also bought from Walmart and not salted or seasoned at all. Definitely wasn't worth the $26. Even so, 10/10 would be back, mainly for the drinks and staff. The fresh seafood may be better, I'll have to try again.

Crabs and food was ok how ever the host made the experience one to remember he was very accommodating and understanding and made a special day spectacular thank you

I can't comment on their crabs as I've only come for drinks and food on the deck. The food is so so but the atmosphere is really great. Beautiful scenery and nice live music on the deck makes for a good time. The service could be improved as it is a little slow but given it's early in the year I'm sure they are still working out the kinks before summer comes. I was pleased to see pizza on their menu and it wasn't half bad. We do enjoy the bacon wrapped scallops as well .. overall a nice spot to stop for drinks on the water

Food was fantastic. All of us ordered different seafood and every plate looked and tasted terrific. Service by Alex was excellent in every way. We didn't lack for anything. What a beautiful place, clean and wonderful ambience on the water. They do not take reservations and the lines were long before they even opened. Plan accordingly. You won't regret the wait. Meal prices are competitive for the seafood market. Impeccable service. We will be back! Restrooms very clean. Handicapped accessible.

The beer is cold and the food is amazing. Being from Atlanta the crab cakes are filled with delicious crab. The fried fish and Mahi App was cooked to perfection. The service was spectacular, we didn't wait or want for anything. A treat. After a long day in DC it was nice to chill in the water front patio enjoying the sunset and tasty dinner

This is my favorite crab spot. I was reluctant to tell you about it. The food is always fresh and the staff is friendly and attentive. I come here twice a month and I can say that they have always been busy and booked. The average wait on a weekend is 15-30 and week nights are about 5-15. They have ample parking and an indoor and outdoor bar area to wait until you have a seat. They have a massive indoor area and they don't usually have a wait inside. The food is always consistent and the crabs are full and plentiful.

Mike's North has beautiful waterfront views and live music on the deck some nights which I enjoyed. They're very family friendly, as we saw lots of children throughout our dinner visit. It appears this place gets crowded on nice Summer / Fall evenings, but the crowd of guests and bar patrons we encountered weren't necessarily the warm & super friendly type... more like the type where an older Caucasian man stops me on my way to the bathroom, sticks his hand and arm out as though to try to block me from where I was walking towards, scowls and asks me "what, are you following me girl?" in a pretty indignant tone. No... no sir... as it turns out, I can use the bathrooms inside, too and am simply headed there to wash my hands. I didn't find the AYCE crabs quality to be worth my while but you get what you pay for and their AYCE crabs special is cheap... They bring out lots of lukewarm smaller sized crabs at a time too, so they can sit there and get colder while the servers don't have to make as many table visits to replenish them enabling them to socialize with one another. Based on my experience with average to below average service, unimpressive crabs' quality, and being one of 2 brown parties during my entire 2.5 hour visit, coupled with the energy of the other guests, especially grandpa that was worried I might be "following him" to find the restrooms.... I can't say this will be in my regular rotation of dining out but the waterfront views and live music were a nice touch.

Our favorite place for crabs in the Annapolis area. Great view on the deck, very attentive service, and reasonable prices.
