Great food & great speed on getting your food to you. My brother was over the moon with how the food tasted and how quickly and hot it was, (as his a bit away from shop) Staff couldn't be more helpful with the ordering over the phone, which I'm very grateful for, as the food was for my brother. He has ask me to say thank you to yourselves and also ask if I could order again for him sometime, because he loved the food, which I'm more then happy to do. Look forward to dealing with you again. Ordered large cod and plaice and was sent the two smallest fish. A complete rip off. Edit: I am adding this bit after the response I received from the restaurant below. We had ordered here all the time and always received decent size fish. You simply tried it on by giving us the two small fishes. Please don’t patronise me saying the small pieces were the same weight as the large pieces. Anyway, I have found a better fish n chip shop, your loss as I and my brother were regulars, a shame you treat your loyal customers this way and try to make an excuse.

I created an account just to be able to write this review. I live next door to this chipper so gave them a second chance when I disliked the first kebab as I hoped it was a one off. I went tonight for a meat and chips, and the overall experience and portion size I got was the worst I have had in London. I asked for a large meat and chips and the guy made a point of saying he could only offer a small.. when I offered to pay more he said his till didn’t allow it. I tried my best to be friendly but he was totally non-engaging and rude, and then put vinegar on my chips without asking, and gave me the most pathetic amount of meat you could ask for. Honestly not worth going to if you are hoping for a decent portion or someone who even listens to your order. I won’t ever go back and I’ll be telling my friends to avoid like the plague just because the people there couldn’t care less about giving you a good meal. Really disappointing!

Sorry if this is a repeat as lost my review before I finished. Large Portions, competitive prices, Friendly staff, delivered on time and prompt. Family run business. Cooked properly always hot. Packaging 99.9% recyclable. Top marks for top fish, chips and kebabs.

Tried them out for the first time via Deliveroo and was certainly not disappointed! Went for the extra large chicken shish kebab with extra chilli and it was absolutely delicious!!! Great portion size (as expected), very tender chicken, nice onions and salad and awesome and hot chilli sauce! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely order again.

Do Not Order Here! Me and My Family Only Ever Ordered From Mike’s Whenever We Wanted Fish n Chips, but the service now is disgraceful, hairs in food, chips were rank, when we complained we were told “oh well” “you can have your money back but do not ever call us back to order to you again” I was so in shock as we were great customers! And as for the hairs in our food and rotten fish, they can stuff it where the sun don’t shine because not even a dog would eat!

The best kebab shop south of the river. I have been ordering from Mikes for over two years now, and have never been let down. The doner and shish meat is well cooked and the salads they provide with it are very fresh. They are one of the few restaurants in London that still does nice traditional thick cut chips!

Ordered fish and chips x 2.... arrived by a very cheery delivery man, but it ends there. The fish was the tail end with no body of fish just soggy soggy batter. The whole piece lacked any fleshy bits of fish just the black skin.... Rang the fish bar to complain, but was told all the fish delivered was the same. I suggest he pays a bit more to the fish market and get better cuts!!! All in all a disgusting watery price of cod and definitely won't be ordering from them again

Agree with my mate Fat S., who I ordered food from here with. Look, if there's one thing I've been longing for my whole life, it's a GOOD doner kebab in London. You tend to find the better kebab shops as you venture further out of London.. but I've never had a local favourite.. until now. Trust me, I've tried A LOT of places around central for doner kebabs, and none have ever quite hit the spot. It's funny because I was speaking to my friend a few days before, talking about why London doesn't have a good, clean, trustworthy kebab shop, and then we stumble upon this place on a delivery website. We had ordered doner kebabs from other places on that website before, but none were good, so we were skeptical, but reading the reviews on there, we went ahead to give it a try. SO GLAD we did. Definitely my new favourite kebab shop in London! They do their doner kebabs perfectly, the quality of meat is much better than many places around. Don't get me wrong, a doner kebab is a doner kebab, but its nice to finally get one that is tasty and feels clean. The garlic and chilli sauces taste great (some places REALLY mess up on those sauces!) and we also ordered fish and chips, the fish batter still fresh and crispy. Pickled eggs too! What's not to love? Really happy with their food, and for a place that delivers it's even better. Keep it up Mike's Kitchen!

It's a good old fashioned traditional chippy/kebab house. Filling and good value it is, fine dinning it is not. Love the curry sauce though.
