Where to Get Takeout Right Now in Ocean Beach | Eater San Diego

"Every neighborhood needs a good taco shop and Mike’s fulfills all the requirements when hunger strikes… even on the weekends when hours are extended until 2:30 am. (Hours may differ during the pandemic.) And there’s lot to choose from. The menu spans tacos, burritos, tortas, ceviche, chips and a variety of drinks including sangria, beer and more." - darlene-horn

Google
I stopped by by chance and said let's try it. Was a great wonderful surprise. Had the grill fish tacos and they were amazing. Fresh cooked perfect and all the toppings added to make it perfect. Will come back

Google
Small little tucked away spot that came highly recommended. Great, quick service. Ordered the Cali burrito and I can safely say it was one of the best burritos I’ve ever eaten. Perfect tortilla, almost melts in your mouth. Stuffed with seasoned fries, steak, guac, cheese, onion, tomato and cilantro. Excellent ratios, each bite as good as the last. Massive portion as well. 10/10 experience and meal.

Google
Fantastic! After landing at the airport we drove straight here. We tried six different kinds of tacos and loved them all; my favorite was the scallops. Fast service, good prices, and outdoor seating with a view.

California Burrito Review (12): Mike's Taco Club Continuing my review of San Diego's California burritos, I visited Mike's Taco Club. Product: The burrito was substantial and generously filled, but the ingredients had a tendency to settle at the bottom. The flavors were good, especially the sauces, but the meat had a distinctive taste that was not to my liking. The price point of over $15 is higher than the average in the area. I rated it a 8 out of 10. Service: The service was polite enough, but there was an underlying sense of irritation in the staff's demeanor. I rated it a 4 out of 10. Atmosphere: The cafe benefits from a stunning ocean view, creating a relaxed ambiance. However, the high volume of customers can make it feel a bit hectic. I found it difficult to savor my burrito in such a bustling environment. I went to eat burritos by the ocean. 7 out of 10

Google
The tacos are pretty good except the octopus that was a skipper! The margs aren’t good either . But overall great sauce choices are delicious.

Google
Had the Steak Breakfast Burrito! And Omg it was sooo good. And man the flavors were yummy. The sauces to die for, the chipotle sauce 100/100. The Guac is fresh and light, definitely recommend.

Google
The California Burrito was really good, sauces were solid, but felt like that could be an area of improvement. The seating is fun but there isn’t a ton of it. I came on a Wednesday and there was extra seats. The lady at the register was very friendly!

Google
Amazing burritos and tacos. This place is one of the best in Ocean Beach. I have been coming here for breakfast, lunch, and even for dinner. This place always hits the spot. I suggest the northern Tijuana taco and the battered fish taco. They serve everything with three different sauces. For burritos the cali burritos and breakfast Burrito are my favorite. And they serve BEER! They also have a bathroom, you just have to ask for the key!

Yelp
EAT HERE! Was at the beach enjoying the view and came here since it's literally a 1 min walk. I was so surprised at how authentic this small business is and also how busy it got! Despite how busy they were, they got our food out in a decent time. The burritos were so amazing and the sauces were perfect! The drinks were also as expected and so delicious. Our total was $45 so it's definitely a bit expensive but the portion was huge and the taste was delicious so no complaints from us. The decor was so cute and perfect for being so close to the beach. I would absolutely come back again. 5/5!

Yelp
Ordered online via the Yelp app and the order was processed fairly quick. I ordered the fish and chips and my wife got the grilled fish taco and a side of fries. Four good size pieces of fish and LOTS of chips/fries on my order and it was very good. Wife's taco was a good size/portion and fries were good, too. I would have given 5 stars but after picking up the order and getting back to our condo we realized there was no Tatar sauce or ketchup in the bag. There was a green sauce that was on the spicy side and a chipotle tasting thousand island kind of sauce that was good. Neither of which my wife wanted to put on her taco. Yes, I could have asked about these items but Tatar sauce and ketchup seem like fairly standard things to include with fish and chips. That said, I would definitely recommend Mike's Taco Club and when I'm back in OB I will visit again!!...but I'll make sure to ask for Tatar sauce and ketchup.

Yelp
I'd heard great things so wanted to try our Mike's Taco Club, but after going I'm not sure why this place has such good reviews. Super average in my opinion. Battered fish tacos hardly had any fish at all (more batter than fish) and the batter was incredibly bland, although it was crispy and the toppings were good. Also got the surfin California burrito, which barely had any shrimp in it and there wasn't much "potato" in the fries so you could barely tell they were in there. Also in general tasted pretty bland, so had to add the chipotle sauce, which was really good. The carne was tender, the pico and guac were fresh, and the tortilla was good, but as a whole I was unimpressed. The service was good and food came out quickly. The setup of the place is really odd, the counter is right inside the doorway so you have to squeeze by people to get in line or go inside. Most of the seating is outside though so it's nice since you're just a block from the beach. Overall it was alright but definitely wouldn't be my first choice in the future.

Yelp
A nice, simple taco shop - you order at the counter and have the option of sitting inside or outdoors if you want to "dine-in" instead of getting take out. I had the California burrito and carne asada fries - if you want a taste of these classic San Diego dishes, I'd recommend! It's definitely going to set your bar for what these classic SD dishes should taste like. The California burrito was delicious: you get a healthy serving of guac and carne asada so you're definitely getting your money's worth. The burrito is very big - I ordered one after a run and found it more than filling for my hungry stomach. It's not well wrapped - but it's easy enough to re-wrap it for yourself. The carne asada fries were also excellent: again you get a great helping of everything and the fries are perfectly cooked and perfect for eating with the loaded food. I was able to order with Google Pay - but the person at the counter did seem slightly confused if it was accepted so it seems like a more recent option/YMMV.

Yelp
Located right under a tattoo shop in Ocean Beach sits Mike's taco club. Food is fair. Nothing too crazy, basic taco shop vibes. The burritos are fair sized but they were rolled poorly. Fell apart, but overall not bad. they did have some pretty good hot sauce though and the service was good. The guy at the register was nice and friendly. I noticed that they have another shop across the street called Harry's tacos. Menu is the same except it is connected to a burger joint. Maybe I'll try that place out next time.

Yelp
I was on a work trip and looking through yelp to find a great place to get some tacos. I ran across Mike's taco shop, looked at their menu and reviews. So I drove over to the restaurant. Parking can be a mess because the restaurant is near the beach. When I stepped into the restaurant I was greeted by staff. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I order grilled fish, carne asada/ shrimp and northern Tijuana taco. All three tacos came with cilantro, avocado, shredded lettuce and salsa. My favorite was the carne asada / shrimp and the Tijuana taco. I thought the grilled fish lack some seasoning. Ambience is customer friendly. Great place to go for Mexican food.

Yelp
After walking around for a bit we decided to grab some tacos before hitting the road. We ordered some beers and grabbed a seat outside. We got our tacos and beers and dived in. The food was amazing and the beers helped wash it down. The vibe was relaxed and just perfect. Will be back to hopefully get some pictures of the food next time.

Yelp
Bomb, as usual...and much better than sitting in this ER on NYE. I absolutely love their carne asada here. It reminds me of the feeling I used to get from Lucha back when w they were a single operation. Located under a tattoo parlor, lies this unassuming joint that usually has a pretty fat line. Prices have been going up, but you can still get a fatties carne asada burrito with added beans for about $14. These burritos are massive and it's rare that I can finish it in one sitting. I highly recommend asking for extra habanero sauce as there are 3 different sauces to choose from-red salsa, chipotle sauce, or the habanero (it's creamy and slightly green). If you're in the area, and don't mind getting messy, I highly highly recommend you try Mike's!

Yelp
A small taco place in near the beach! The tacos are amazing !! They might be the best ones ever. The carne asada taco, ceviche, octopus taco all of them were really good. Few seating inside and also outside the restaurant. The service was quick. It's more like a take out place! Tacos are loaded, come with 3 sauces which are at different spice levels.
google avatar

Yelp
While visiting, we stopped here for some tacos. We both agreed that the fish tacos and the sauces were some of the best that we ever had. The chips and guac were yummy too. We would love to come back on our next visit :)

Yelp
One of the best California burritos of my life! My husband and I were in San Diego recently and embarked upon a California burrito tour all in the name of science. After sampling at least 6 kinds (3 of which were on the same day - yikes!) this emerged as the definitive winner. Fish taco was solid but not nearly as memorable. (Also, pro tip - this place is definitely a dive and would recommend using the facilities before or after - but not at this location if you can avoid it!!) Can't wait to come again next time we're back.

Yelp
The sound of surprise when I told my friend that I'd never really had a Cali burrito was priceless. She informed me that she would pick me up from the airport and we would drive directly to Mike's Taco Club. We lucked out on street parking close by. When we got there, Yasi said she was going to get the Cali burrito so I ordered the same thing since I trust her food taste. After paying, we sat at one of the few tables outside and waited for our number to be called but didn't have to wait long. The burritos were wrapped in foil and came with three different sauces. I tried two of the sauces but let me just say that you know any potential stand alone food is excellent when you think the sauces take away from the flavor. The burritos were so big that both of us ended up wrapping 1/3 of the burrito up to eat the next day. I would hands down go back again and bring friends! The only downside is their tables probably couldn't hold a big group if a few tables are occupied.

Yelp
This place is so overpriced for just ok burritos. $30 for 2 breakfast burritos is insane.
google avatar

Jordan D.

Yelp
Best Cali burrito I think I ever had! Went for some burritos and beers for cinco de mayo. Place was slammed but staff was friendly and efficient. The asada Cali burrito was so good, they pack it in and the steak is cooked perfect. Will be back again 100%

Yelp
Excellent tacos, Spicy shrimp, Octopus, and scallop were ordered today. Fantastic food, great service

Yelp
(This review is from a visit on October 28th, 2023) This is THE taco shop to go to in SD, in my humble opinion. The carne asada tacos were topped with hot sauce, avocadoes, and the steak was extremely tender. The carne asada fries were also 10/10 delectable and lasted us almost two days (that's a LOT of food). My california burrito though, took the cake- still to this day the best Cali burrito I've ever had. One side note, there is very limited seating/parking in that area near Hodad's and Mike's, so make sure to prepare ahead of time.

Yelp
The California Burrito was a food I aimed to eat at San Diego, and a YouTuber had recommended this place. I passed this place the first time, being there was no name on the storefront. There was a line, but the line moved quick, thanks to the lady working the counter. The California Burrito ($13.99) was worth the hype. It's so hearty and comforting, thanks to the french fries and the carne asada. I loved the origin of this burrito, which was made to feed the hungry surfers, and I bet it did! They gave us 3 different sauces, which added fun changes to the taste. Their small Watermelon Agua Fresca ($3.99) was also so refreshing, with a good amount of sweetness that accompanied our burrito well. This was a great place for a quick meal, right by the beach too!

Yelp
This place is pretty legit! It's located in a nice area, not too far from the beach, which is always a plus. My friend and I stopped by for lunch and had a great time. It's one of those places where you order at a counter and they let you know when it's ready. We sat in this little outdoor area, which was cozy and shaded. There was only a bit of room inside. We enjoyed our drinks, Jamaica House made Agua Fresca and Horchata, both of which were on the sweeter side. The Fish Tacos and Shrimp Ceviche both hit the spot, but I wasn't honestly huge on the Chips and Guacamole. Overall, I enjoyed my meal at this place, but I do think there are better options in the area. Certainly, some other spots had better deals, but all in all, I can't complain!

Yelp
Best Carne Asada Fries I had in San Diego The fries are soft & the meat was delicious the toppings were amazing overall 5 star meal . Great customer service by Graci the cashier. She took my order with a smile on her face the whole time. I also tried the taco's & burritos before which were spontaneous delicious.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
Tasty tacos right near the beach. There was a decent line late morning on a Sunday, but it moved pretty quickly. We tried the battered fish taco, grilled fish taco, octopus taco, and spicy shrimp taco. The shrimp taco was great and we also really liked both the battered and grilled fish tacos. The red and green sauces are a must! A bit overpriced compared to other taco shops we tried, but we still enjoyed our meal here.

Yelp
Delicious!! Can't believe I waited this long to try it. Got a veggie burrito and it was properly tasty - full of flavor, rolled correctly and came out hot and fresh. Loved the spicy cilantro aioli type sauce that came with it as well. Not many tables, but there are a few inside & outside. Mostly a to-go place.
google avatar

Cindy S.

Yelp
This place is so good! The perfect place to satisfy your taco cravings. The ceviche was delicious as well. Quick and speedy service. Be sure to ask for any utensils, etc., that you need before you walk away from the counter or you'll be heading back again and again. Ambiance-- casual and the perfect place to grab a quick bite before heading back to the beach!

Yelp
Give a girl a taco, and she's gonna want a Sangria too! Mike's is my GO-TO for a taco and a sangria or beer. As an OB local, I know the right times to go so the line isn't out the door and the patio (as it's very tiny) isn't crowded. I will literally eat anything off this menu! The burritos are seriously as big as my arm, the steak is perfectly seasoned, they have the best beans. The cheese is evenly melted, the French fries are the perfect firmness. You have an array of salsas to choose from- the spicy red one is my favorite. I could live in that salsa. In fact, I am going to walk over for dinner right now.

Michael K.

Yelp
This place made it impossible for me to ever enjoy burritos again in the San Francisco Bay Area, especially California burritos. I always knew San Diego had some good burritos, but damn, this shit was good. I ordered the Surf & Turf California Burrito, crispy fish taco, and some chips and guacamole. The fries inside of the burrito could have been a little more crispy, but regardless, it was still good as hell. On top of the bomb ass food, the view of the ocean was amazing. Smoking some weed after a nice meal, and staring at the ocean, was quite an enjoyable experience.

Yelp
Best little hole in the wall taco shop in town... my husband and I shared their famous trifecta taco, grilled fish tacos and shrimp ceviche. It was hard to share the tacos, they were so good but definitely still big enough to share. I loved the flavors of the fish, balance of toppings, level of spicy and the avocado cilantro sauce that came with them was the perfect accompaniment to really complete the dish. We'll definitely be back for more!

Zeke R.

Yelp
My family and I ate here, we had 8 of us and they got us in n out. Very fast, affordable and tastes so good. I got the california burrito and I devoured it left no crumbs. I recommend if you're on the go!
google avatar

Yelp
Grilled fish tacos for breakfast, yeah baby! I was up early and my cereal had worn off by 10 am, so I hit the taco stand! Order at the counter, eat on the patio watching the waves. Wrapped in foil, each taco had its own little cardboard boat to ensure safe transportation. Two grilled Mahi tacos garnished with pico, cabbage and huge pieces of avocado were almost more than I could finish for $14. Loved the red salsa, not so sure about the creamy ones although I did taste and use the green one. It' hard to go wrong with tacos on the beach!
google avatar

Nevin A.

Yelp
We were visiting Ocean Beach. I saw a long line @10 in the morning. I wanted to know which place is this, it is said ACE TATTO! I didn't believe that this line was for tatto. I went around the place for clarification. Finally, I see an arrow on the side wall said Tacos & Cold Beer. The place is called Mike's Taco Club and it is really hole in the wall. We ordered Trifecta taco (spicy grilled shrimp, scallop & fish) and Grilled fish  Mahi. We ordered also octopus taco but the cashier told us it will be ready in one hour. So we cancelled it.we ordered instead steak cali burritos. They have outside patio seating and a very few seating inside. The steak Cali burritos & the trifecta were delicious. The Grilled fish Mahi taco was just okay. It took around 20 minutes and may be a little more to receive our order. In general, it's a nice taco place very close to the beach. You can grab your favorite taco and enjoy both of the fresh air and fresh taco
google avatar

Shira K C.

Yelp
Probably the best taco I've ever had. Great ingredients and the right proportions Basic shop area, but step outside for the beach
google avatar

Kai L.

Yelp
Mike's Taco Club is more popular than Harry's Taco Club that is across the street. Tacos are delicious, had the Carne Asada Steak taco, plain unbattered grilled Fish Tacos, Trifecta Taco along with Guacamole and Chips. Surprisingly the Guac and chips were really good, and they gave a lot of guacamole with the chips. Very San Diego vibe with the beach close by and a tattoo shop next door. The smell of weed was in the air when I was dining, which reminded me of the Venice Beach vibe. Service was simple - you order at the cashier and they call you by number. Would come back if I'm ever in the San Diego area.
google avatar

Janet E.

Yelp
A LOT of food for a very fair price. If you are in OB and looking for a quick bite to eat, put Mike's Taco Club on your list. The place is always crowded with locals so that should tell you something. The fresh chips and guacamole were incredible. Also, the veggie burrito is not to be skipped. This thing weighed over a pound and was bigger than my hand - a lot to eat but so very tasty. Order at the counter, then sit outside watching the world pass as you wait for your food. On a busy day there will be a slight wait but trust me, it's worth it!!!

Yelp
Seafood, mariscos, tacos galore with the authentic glass bottle Coke? Mike's is that place if you're in OB area. Stopped by before hitting up some brewskis with a friend, and we were stoked that Mike's was walking distance from our OB beach day. There's tight quarters outdoor seating and sparse indoor seating, so most people either eat quickly if it's a party of one or two, but if you're with a huge group...it's best to do takeout. The many is pretty easy to maneuver, there's so much seafood from shrimp (camarones) to octopus (pulpo) and my FAVORITE the Trifecta (combo of shrimp, fish and scallop NOM) you can ask for it fried or grilled. I got the Trifecta and Octopus and NO REGRETS, both were delicious and I practically inhaled them both. The tacos are filled with fresh seafood AND huge portions of avocado and fresh cabbage, tomato, and red onion. Mm! Their salsas are also the game changers, which were already packaged into our togo bags. I forgot to take pics of them because I just scarfed down the tacos and enjoyed the bliss of seafood taco heaven. I would highly recommend coming if you're a big fan of seafood tacos.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday evening. There was a long line out the door. Took about 20 minutes or more before we reached the counter to order. Prices are quite reasonable for the area. Got the battered fish taco and the carne asada fries. Got the order relatively quickly afterwards. The fries are enough as it's own meal. They were great!
google avatar

Claudia S.

Yelp
Not sure what people have here when they rate it 5/5 but this place is NOT a 5 star place. The ordering situation is unorganized and hectic. Small counter space and a single person taking orders AND calling them out. Fisherman Torta, they mistakenly added meat and there were no scallops nor avocado. The guy at the counter was already completely overwhelmed therefore decided to just shut up and eat. Battered Fish Burrito, breading was soggy from so much oil, it was peeling off from the fish. The tortilla was dry and flaky, way over done. The cabbage was dry and not even a piece of lime given to add some flavor. We had a side of fries, they were the best thing we had. $5 for a small side. Lastly the grilled fish taco was bland and just not good. Overall this place is mediocre and definitely a waste of money for the quality of the food served. Edit: Restaurant owner/manager reached out and was interested in what we had to say about our experience. He was generous and gave us a full refund. Very much appreciated.

Yelp
I would fly back to SD just for these tacos.. they're that good! We stopped by Mike's after a few hours at the beach looking for a little something to carry us over till dinner. It was the best decision we could've made! I opted for the fish taco. I don't even like fish to begin with but I have always wanted to try a fish taco and let me just say that Mike's made me fall in love! They're that good! The tacos are huge and come with a nice big piece of fish that is perfectly battered and fried. The batter is well seasoned and pairs with the flaky fish perfectly. The tacos came with fresh pico and cabbage and some salsas. I am not sure what the names of the salsas were but it was a green-ish creamy sauce and a orange-ish creamy sauce. Both added some delicious flavor to the tacos. They weren't overpowering and the tacos would've also tasted amazing without them but i highly recommend trying them together as they compliment each other nicely. The service at this establishment was great. Super friendly employees. The space is a bit small and they offer a few seats indoors and outdoors. A perfect solution to this problem is to take your tacos and eat them on the beach with a view. What more could you ask for?

Yelp
Thanks to yelp, I found this amazing place when I was visiting San Diego in November 2022. Pros: 1. pet friendly patio (small but was perfect for us) 2. Super friendly service. If you need extra salsa, sauces, just ask the front desk. 3. Amazing food: loved the fish tacos: fried ones were better than grilled. Steak burritos were HUGE and tasty. Carne asada fries are amazing but humongous: 3 of us couldn't finish it. 4. I especially loved the horchata shake: was sweet but yummy. Cons: I walked here but I can imagine parking to be tough near the boardwalk. Probably park a few blocks away, there are spots in front of the restaurant but there were all full when I came. Overall, a great place for tacos near ocean beach. I will definitely be back when visiting the area again.

Yelp
I've been coming to this spot for 30 yrs; first as Rodeo's, now as Mike's. Still great tacos, just 1 block from the beach, favorites are the grilled or battered fish taco or steak & shrimp taco. They even serve beer and margaritas; but no alcohol. On the patio past 10 pm. Check it out!

Yelp
Legendary surf & turf burritos in a small, yet charming shop. Note that seating is limited

Yelp
I saw the reviews online and I had to try it. It's literally a hole in the wall place which tends to be always the best and IT WAS! We got the battered fish tacos and the grilled fish and they were so delicious. Make sure you get the sauce to add to your tacos which is amazing! Both pink and white sauce were so good! My husband got a fish torta But she says it's the best he ever had! I ordered my son the Cali burrito which he devoured all on his own. I ordered my daughter a quesadilla and a side of Carne Asada and she thought it was the best she's ever had! This was a great place to eat at. Will definitely be back whenever we are in the area.
google avatar

Maya K.

Yelp
REALLY good tacos! The spicy shrimp is so good and so spicy, I loved it. Also tried the battered fish taco which was also amazing! I love how they gave us lots of sauces to try- the green one was my favorite. Not pictured, but the homemade horchata was so delicious and refreshing I'm glad I tried it. Ordered chips for the table too, and they were crunchy and seasoned beautifully, I'll be back!

Yelp
Amazing food nice service true Mexican food and short wait time but some times long lines... totally worth it! A bit of a hole in the wall but it's a fantastic hole in the wall!

Yelp
A solid 4. We were in Ocean Beach & craving some good California burrito. We gave Mike's Taco Club another try after trying it out a couple of years ago. I remember their burrito was nothing extraordinary. However, this time around I actually loved it more. The shrimp and steak one was generously filled with protein, fries, cheese, and onions. It certainly hit the spot for me. I also love the creamy, garlicky sauce they serve on the side.

G G.

Yelp
This was a very cool find. The food was delicious and the service was quick for how busy they were. There is very limited seating but it's Southern California so didn't expect much. My kids loved their food and overall great experience.

Yelp
Great tacos. Great burritos. Nice selection of bottled/canned beers and non-alcoholic beverages. Tiny - but comfortable enough, a bit warm inside. Way too many flies buzzing around the outdoor space. Maybe a cover on those trash cans?? But hey - really delicious octopus taco and steak burrito. I'd try them again in a hot second.
google avatar

Mypang T.

Yelp
The tacos are big and filling. I ordered one to sample and it was a meal for me, lol. It was loaded with beans, cabbage, tomato, onions, avocado. They provided 3 types of sauces. Not sure what they were but two were cream based, the third was a red salsa. Tacos didn't come with lemon, sad face. I enjoyed my michelada too! It was simple and topped with some tajin. Super refreshing to enjoy near the beach. It's a small joint, you order to go and there's a small patio area to sit. Orders come out fast. Pretty steady line for a Monday. Looks like a local favorite.

Yelp
San Diego has endless options when it comes to Mexican food. OB is known for their chill vibes, bars, and good food. We gave this place a try because people rave about their burritos. The restaurant is more of a beach shack than a restaurant. They have a few tables outside and a couple inside. There was a line outside the door and parking is basically street parking. Service was friendly, the food came out quickly, but we had to wait in line for 30 min before ordering. I ordered the California burrito and my wife got the surf and turf burrito. The CA burrito was good, had decent flavor and amount of protein, but the fries were not crispy. The surf and turf was a huge disappointment. My wife could not taste or feel the shrimp, so she had to cut open the burrito to dig for them and found they were tiny, overcooked, and rubbery. Which explains why she thought her burrito was 100% meat. The shrimp texture was tough like meat. I can't recommended this place. There are so many better options in SD.

Yelp
Super close to the beach, this place is convenient to grab a bite. They don't have an obvious sign so if you are searching you need to look closely or you would think it's just tattoos at this location. Service is nice enough, order at the counter, they call your number. Went here hoping the fish taco was standout and also tried a steak and shrimp Cali burrito. None of the food stands up on its own without adding salsa. The fish taco was reasonable on price but a little flat on flavor, thankfully it is nicely complemented by the green salsa. The burrito was a lot of calories but not super rewarding to the tastebuds.

Yelp
Battered fish taco was amazing! It was fresh! Definitely recommend to try! It's a pretty small place but got some sitting area outside. Enjoy it.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday and there was a bunch of free 2 hour street parking available. For about $6, the octopus taco is great and comes with three sauces. Pros: -accept credit -tasty octopus tacos -a few indoor and outdoor seating options -you can order in advance (multiple people were there to pick up their food) Cons: -a handful of homeless people are in the area. There was a woman who was yelling outside in front and talking to herself

Yelp
Legitimately such a good beachside taco joint. The carne asada burrito was the size of a small child and I ate the whole thing in one sitting (because why the heck not). Did my tummy hurt for 24 hours? Yes. Was it worth it? Also yes. Takes a while on a weekend evening so be prepared to wait! 45 mins in line but once you order the food comes super quick. Smaller menu with simple seafood tacos and burrito options but all very tasty! Pro tip: Get extra sauce
