Mikey's Late Night Slice

Ate this pizza last time we were in town. When we got home we found out they have a speak easy downstairs. We had to go! We love finding these. Sacred Palm is the name. You gotta follow the bathroom signs and just trust the process. Go straight it’s there. Super cool!

Pizzawise i give it a low 4 to my liking. Not no full 5 stars but it was good..Not go out of my way to come and pay for parking to eat here again good but good to do a take out order good lol

I love coming here with my family and friends. food is always amazing, i absolutely love the spicy pep. drinks are on point can be a little pricey but delicious! and the vibe is always so nice. the staff i’ve met have been fantastic! they also have vegan and gluten free options which is so nice!

We liked the place . The pizza was delicious :). We also tried the unicorn cookies and bars . Both yummy . Customer service was great too. The place had enough seating .. if you need to go to the bathroom. Try going without asking first where it is .. I totally fell for their bathroom lol it’s funny .. you’ll see haha.

Twas a great day, stopped by while traveling and thought we'd try some crazy hotdogs, fast forward 30 minutes and it was ok but meh enough to still be hungry. So we parked just next mikeys and it looked nice and had a very alluring scent coming from it. This is a wed. So not really busy. I decide I need some good food still. I walk in and the atmosphere and decor is just awesome vibes and fun emotions are wild. Very pleasant young gentlemen working in 4-16-25 evening shift, so great to interact with and I decided to try the plain ass pepperoni and grab a drink. We mention it's my birthday and he goes into extra awesome mode 😎 and says it's on the house and I am just in awe do you hear me, this is unheard of now a days, a very cool touch of respect 🙏. And to beat it all the pizza is fan freaking tastic!! Great crust amd toppings are actually toppings for every bite. Fan favorite for life now when I visit cbus!!! THANK YOU very much for my wonderful experience and we will fornsure be back to one of your locations again and many times after!!! For anyone else who made it this far just give the place a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed as long as you enjoy great pizza and great atmosphere!

Let me tell ya what… I don’t usually come to this side of town, but after a win while I had some business to take care of downtown how could I not stop by 4th street!?!? So glad I did BIG SHOUT OUT TO HUNTER. Been coming here for years but this guy deserves 5 stars; Generally speaking Pun unapologetically intended

Great atmosphere, we walked in and immediately were greeted by friendly staff and they were super awesome and funny. When we told them it was our first time they really went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Ordered our food for dine in and was told about 20 minutes. This is completely acceptable especially for making whole specific pizzas. We easily got that food in what felt like 5 seconds! Exceptionally fast and quality food! Pizza was super delicious (and their sauces are to die for). The atmosphere was also amazing, good music, plenty of space, friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend!

I went after a concert where I was in the pit, and it had a very nice vibe to it and it was a great way to wind down. Food was great, but I can't say anything about the service since a friend was the one who ordered while I got us a table. The only reason this review doesn't have five stars was because of a print of batman and robin (robin is very underage and, you know, batman's legally adopted son) kissing on the way to the bathroom. Like, full on kissing. Kind of threw me off.

Yum Yum Yum! Since I'm from NYC, I'm always down to check out some pizza that looks like it could resemble the real deal. We were at the arcade next door and were hungry after they closed so I decided to take a chance here. Upon walking in, the pizza scent was divine! It honestly took me back to growing up in NYC with that amazing aroma. I really have not experienced that since moving out of NY so I was excited to try Mikey's. Since it was late, there was not a lot of variety in choices. The staff greeted us and offered us to order. We ordered the Plain Ass Slice, the Vegan Pepperoni, the Plain Ass Pepperoni, and Unicorn sauce. We ordered it to go and we did not wait long to have it heated up. We decided to eat it back at our hotel room since it was a short walk. I am most sure if I was starving but damn, that pizza hit the friggin spot! And the unicorn sauce was a good addition too! I didn't realize until later that they have several locations. Hopefully I will be able to grab a slice when traveling through in the future.

First stop when I got to town. Cashier was friendly, welcoming, and helpful for a first timer. He answered my questions and offered advice to help decide. I went with the special mushroom Kingdom pie Togo which was an absolute banger. The sauce was delicious, good meaty Mushrooms, good flavor, well cooked crust! Over all a delicious well made pie. As an out of towner not knowing what to expect they certainly set the bar high for the rest of the restaurants I'll visit while in town.

Tried out a slice of the Plain Ass Pepperoni and it didn't disappoint. If you are looking for a big cheese pull this isn't your slice, but if you want a thin slice with great flavor this is it. When I came in and shared that I was new to Mikey's they took time explain all of the slice options that were available and I had to fight the temptation to try one of each. The atmosphere was casual dinning experience with music playing in the background. I would suggest you give them a try.

Great place for the munchies! The pizza slice was big and crust was thin and crispy. Server was quick and friendly! The prices were not bad too!

Kinda obsessed with Mikey's, use to come here all the time years ago and I'm very happy to say they haven't changed!!! The customer service has always and still is immaculate! the ambiance full of fun and music! Feels carefree in a way that says "aaaayyyyeeeee" like the Fonzie. The pizza!!! oh myyyy!!! The pizza is always perfectly done, full of favor, nice n toasty and delicious! never ever have I had a bad experience at a 'Late night Slice' This restaurant is a staple and a comfort, welcoming all with a warm embrace and yummy pizza dipping sauce. the walls hold many stores and memories of exiting nights and happy days! ~Will continue coming here forever~

Really good vegan pizza and they don't upcharge you for their vegan pizza like some other places

My friend and I stopped here early this morning at approximately 1am. We just so happened to stumble across it on Google as we were looking for late night food spots after a long night out & I am so happy we did. For it to be a late night spot, I was really impressed by the service and how friendly everyone was. It was a very chill environment with a bar feel. We got the Date Night special which included 2 slices of pizza, breadsticks, 2 drinks & a unicorn bar. The wait time was about 10 minutes. They were all out of cheese pizza so I had to get the spicy a** pepperoni (that's the name of it haha). It came with pepperoni & banana peppers & sooooo good. The dough was soft & everything was hot to temperature. I dipped mine in the spicy unicorn sauce *chef's kiss* & complimented the pizza well. You could also order drinks. The drinks were just okay but the bartender was very friendly. I was also told they have a speakeasy. We didn't check it out because we had already had a long day but I would go back the next time I'm in Columbus & need a late night bite to eat.

Went on a date here during the day it was not a lot of people there. I heard there's a secret bar, but I don't drink so still cool . The pizza was good. I'd say that the pizza crust could've been a little butteryer good night

I thought New York had the best pizza but who would have thought that Columbus, Ohio had the best pizza?! Let me tell yall something...that mushroom slice is the greatest slice I've ever had in my life. I live in Texas and I will now think about this pizza all the time...

Surprised by the bad reviews but this was one of my favorite slices when I still lived in Columbus. The slices are comparable to any New York style slice you'd get in the city. For two slices at about $10, these aren't fancy slices but there are definitely quality. The slices are put on basic paper plates, thin, and packed with flavor. The unicorn sauce still hits and so do the slices. The area of this one is great because it's right by 16 Bit and Dirty Frank's which also deserve a visit.

Passed by this place while walking to short north and got a few slices to go. Pepperoni was the best one and would leave without their mushroom pizza as well. We also had a bbq chicken slice that was good too. Great ambiance with fun decor and perfect for a late night bite. Service was fast. Great pizza by the slice for a night in downtown Columbus.

This is a review of the service mostly. The pizza in its quality was fine but this location messed up the order and caused my wife to be sick to her stomach for hours. My wife has a dairy allergy which I explicitly mentioned numerous times when I ordered and asked for dairy free cheese. One bite in and my wife knew it wasn't dairy free by the flavor. I called the store and the lady who took my order said it was dairy free. I then asked to talk to someone else and that person said it wasn't dairy free. Poor training and unknowledgeable staff turned our weekend getaway into a night on the hotel bathroom floor.

the service was exceptional i ordered the vegan chicken bbq, cheese & basil, and 2 plain pepperoni slices and lastly cinnamon stix bbq chicken 7/10 cheese & basil 8/10 plain pep 8.3/10 cinnamon stix 5/10 a little hard due to being reheated im assuming so get fresh if you can they have a bar area thats really nice as well with a nice selection open seating and nice music selection ambiance is low lit with comfortable lounge chairs with a music selection of late 90s to modern day overall i enjoyed myself

Great experience today at Mikey's Late Night Slice. I popped in for a quick bite after leaving an event. They now have a daily crazy hour EVERY day from 4-5 pm where items are 50% off. My pizza slice was half off and was ordered a drink by the bartender Melissa as well. She recommended the punch which I cannot remember the name of. It was super good but I'm glad she told me that it was dangerous as it's super good and you can't tell you're drinking alcohol. For my pizza slice, I got the Plain- Ass Pepperoni which is Pepperoni, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. It's so good!! You really can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. They also have a signature sauce called the Unicorn Sauce. Unicorn Sauce is a delicious tangy, smokey, spicy, sweet flavor. It's amazing!! Can't wait to come back to get more punch when I'm not driving.

Visiting from California, I did not know that I needed this pizza until I had it, this oversized, greasy, cheesy pizza with the garlic sauce. Definitely get the garlic sauce. We tend to have more artisanal style pizzas back home, rare to see any that sell by the slice, and if I wanted garlic sauce, I'd have to order pizza from Dominos or another big chain. It's healthier but sometimes you just want to take a chance with your cholesterol levels and Mikey's Late Night Slice delivered that! Love the decor. It's fun, funny (check out "the bathroom"), and reflective of the funky vibe of the place. The service was also really quick when we went around lunchtime on a Saturday. We didn't really see many people out and about either so perhaps Columbus itself just doesn't get crowded even on the weekends. Overall, a great stop.

Great venu for a late night nightcap.....and of course pizza. Some friends and I were in town for the night to catch a flight the next day. We decided to slide by and have a few drinks with a pie.... delicious. If in the area, make sure to visit !!

I really hate writing bad reviews and I have been to this location and have supported it a lot and normally staff is attentive and super nice. Not tonight though. The guy who took my order and rung up my order was rude and condescending, I was so dumbfounded that it happened that I couldn't say anything but I felt super comfortable and embarrassed. I have never had that feeling and just need to get that out in case someone else feels like that. Anyway probably won't return to this location if the employee is still working there.

This place has Great service. Great pizza. Local beer on tap. What else can you ask for?

Do you really need more pics of Mikey's? Good NyC style slices for a pinch after the club or for lunch. The rotation of types is a plus and I appreciate the vegan options. This was my first pizza in Columbus when I moved and it continues to be my go to when in a hurry. The unicorn sauce is so tangy and good, they sell it in the stores now! The service is always consistent though the people change. And the area is a mix of old school pizza parlor, rock punk bar, and if you go to the speakeasy one- cozy hangout... always some type of vibe. I appreciate the marketing team figuring out cost effective meal deals like two slices and a drink under $20 etc.! It speeds up the lines and helps the daters as well. Good business and on! I would like to see more creative options for the non meat folks though. Pizza on!

This place was highly recommended.. And I was surprised by how great the pizza was !! It was very fresh and delicious!! The spicy pepperoni had a nice kick to it but not uncomfortable hot .. The mushroom and garlic pizza was amazing with that nice fresh mushroom taste !! The crust was thin and soft !! A must try pizza place if in the Columbus area !!

This place saved us. We got into Columbus late so we thought there would be some late night eats. Yeah for some reason the food scene in downtown Columbus is dead and deserted. Total ghost town. At like 1:30 am, we arrived and were immediately greeted by the staff. They told us how to order. We got cheese with basil, mushroom with roasted garlic, and plain ass pepperoni. Pizza tasted delicious at 1:30 am. Prices were fair. Free refills on drinks. Food was hot and fresh.

Be sure to watch for your order. Evening if you properly order your food, and you are 5 feet away, they won't acknowledge your food is ready. We were the only ones in the restaurant, but they wouldn't recognize us and/or tell us our order was ready. We didn't get it until we walked up again to ask where it was, unfortunately. Sadly, it was cold by then. Other than that the pizza is good.

This review can be summed up with one thing: $6 for one slice of pizza (or $30 for the whole thing). I know inflation has been increasing, but dang!! That just seems crazy expensive for a reheated piece of pizza. Yes, reheated because just like a typical NY pizza joint, the pizzas sit in a glass case at the front until a slice is ordered and then tossed back in the oven. I tried the specialty pizza which was touted as a 'Hot Chicken' with fried chicken and mac and cheese. Comes with ranch and some pickles. It wasn't spicy, but the chicken and mac and cheese part was tasty and the ranch was really good. However, given the price I doubt I will frequent any Mikey's locations unless it is literally the only thing open.

So this place is 4 stars if you get it fresh but 1 star if you actually go at 9pm and get the last lonely slice of cheese. They should have a policy of throwing away the last slice if it sits more than 10 minutes but rather than loose a slice, they lost a customer.

Only had 30 minutes, so jumped in and had two quick slices. Service was quick and the flavor and crust was spot on and what I was looking for, Awesome!

We were in town for 24 hours to witness a devastating football game. After the late game, Mikey's was the only place open. Turns out this was a blessing because the large cheese pizza we ordered was phenomenal and the bartender was super sweet and kept our Miller Lites flowing. The real 5 stars, I'd give 10, came from two days later when I discovered I left my wallet on the bar. I called the restaurant, they had me describe my wallet, and when I told them I am 8 hours away, they immediately offered to ship it. This was 2 days before Christmas so I had little faith of that actually being accomplished. A week later, my wallet arrived wrapped nicely not only with nothing out of place, but with Mikey's coupons. Long story short, the pizza is great and the staff is even better. LOVE YOU MIKEY'S!!!!!

Pizza was good. They are as the name says open late. Lots of seating and drink options as well. Only complaint is pizza was a little expensive but the size made it worth it.

Maybe it was TOO late at night, but the cheese with "fresh" basil was anything but fresh. Stale crust, cheese dried out, and basil was a few tiny bits and dried out completely almost to barely visible specs. Definitely couldn't taste the basil at all. I was very disappointed. This was probably the worst slice of pizza I've had in a very long time.

The pizza itself was decent. It is what I have come to expect every time I am in Columbus and I'm excited to come get pizza when my flight lands at midnight. The service was subpar. After waiting in line for a while, I went over to get a beer. The server was in a casual conversation with two women for over five minutes and didn't notice me and one other person trying to grab a drink. I walked over to her and started to ask for a beer, but she held her finger up as if to tell me to wait. I patiently waited. I figured it would be a minute or maybe two and as soon as she was done with her other customers, she would come back to me. She ignored me and went in the back office and dealt with bar tasks like moving things around for another five minutes before taking my order. I asked if I could leave the tab open and put the pizza on it since I was waiting in line. Alissa, I believe her name was, working night of may 31, said sure. By the time I ordered my pizza at the other end of the establishment, and I explained I'd like to put it on my tab, they couldn't find the tab... so I paid cash. I went back to the bar while I waited on my pizza and said they wouldn't let me put pizza on tab and she said "I closed you out." I was willing to excuse the poor communication and the immediate customer service failure because at least she said it was a smile. But then a few minutes later at last call, I wanted to put another drink order in. It was impossible to get her attention and she wasn't that busy. She was taking the occasional drink order and tidying up. The people next to me screamed loudly to get their drinks. I decided another beer wasn't worth screaming and kept the seven dollars in my pocket. I won't ever go back to this place to wait in line for over 30 minutes for pizza, wait another 10 for a beer, and then tip for non-existent service. It's a shame because I really enjoyed it and have probably been 40+ times, but one bad service was enough to turn me off.

Tastes like home and nights to remember! Every time I visit Columbus, I make sure to stop by one of the locations for a slice (or a few)! The ambiance cannot be beat for any occasion of whether you're out on a date, with friends, or even by yourself. The staff are always friendly and their service is top notch. 100/10.

I just drove to this location on my lunch break 4.9.2024 and got 2 slices of pepperoni and a diet coke. This was $20. It was put in a bag and given to me, the guy was very nice. I got home and opened it and had 2 extremely burnt pieces of pizza that were inedible. I tried to call and couldn't get through to anyone. There's no email on the site, so I am here to request a refund or gift card. I love mikey's but $20 for burnt pizza is SUPER SUPER DISAPPOINTING. Would love for this issue to be resolved. Thanks!

Mikey's is a Columbus institution who first came on the scene as a food truck and has transitioned what seems seamlessly to several brick and mortar locations across the city. This spot sits in good company with other bars including Walrus and 16 Bit (Dirty Franks is close by as well!) Not only does it have pizza for your pleasure but a full bar as well! And on Wednesday nights they are now featuring free BINGO at 7pm and you can win free pieces of pizza. The slices are HUGE--one maybe two hits the spot. They are in the vein of NY style as you can fold them in half. Pro Tip: Slices come HOT so give it a minute to cool off or you'll char the roof of your mouth!

The pizza is fine - not bad but nothing spectacular. It is WAY overpriced. $5.50 for a warmed-up slice is crazy, I would expect it to be $2.50, $3 max.

Excellent spot to grab a slice especially late at night. Has a full bar that is stocked with all your cocktail needs. Staff are all friendly making a comfortable visit.

Staff were great! I came in for a beer and a slice and the slice was old gave me the food for free and another slice. After that they apologized so I ordered another beer and a few more slices just because of the level of. Isomer service I have received which was outstanding! I'll be back!

Ok, so maybe if I was drunk this rating would be better. While in Columbus for a hockey game, we ordered around 10:30, and the slices were delivered in like fifteen seconds flat it felt like. The pizza in the box was cold, sad and dry. Was it pizza? Maybe. But was it good? No. I get the idea, late night pizza for your drunken self, but I was told by several people in the area, even my air b&b host, that it was good stuff. Maybe it would have been good in person, at the restaurant, and we should have put pants on and gone there instead of requesting delivery. Oh well, Live and learn. Happy Eating, Just probably not here.

I love to going to Mikey's on a Sunday night. You don't have to fight for a parking spot and you don't need to pay for it either. I love that Mikey's does a pizza of the month--we got Silence of the Buffalo chicken pizza for Halloween month ofc. They also do a seasonal drink menu. All the drinks are thoughtfully curated and the bartender makes sure they taste delicious before handing it off. We got a boozy root beer float and it was served in a monster 32oz cup that you can keep. This drink is big enough to share between 2-3 people. They keep the place pretty casual and fun. It's a cool place for friends or dates to hangout at. After eating piping hot pizza, you can hop on over to 16 bit and play some games. Going on a Sunday has huge benefits--no lines, superb service and chill vibes. Will be coming back November and December to check out new menus again!

Meh, I've had hundreds of better pizza. It's all made there fresh but the result is mediocre. Too pricey for the end result. Cool, Divey place.

I realized I never rated this location. It's Mikey's, it's delicious. It's charming. It's seemingly always pretty busy. You know how it is. Unless you're reading this review having never experienced Mikey's. Well, they have gigantic slices of pizza that are deeply satisfying. They have dipping sauces that make the experience so much better (usually the cups are by the sauces but I think you have to ask for them now because they weren't out last time I was there). The sodas are unexpectedly delicious. I really don't think you can go wrong ordering anything here. I tried the boneless wings for the first time and thought they were great. There's a fun, divey vibe, the service is always friendly and quick (quick if there isn't a large line and a lot of people dining in that is). Mikey's is quintessentially Columbus, it's something I always recommend people coming in from out of town try. I almost always just get a slice of cheese with the garlic sauce, but they're special flavors (like the hot chicken takeover pizza ) are always worth checking out!

It's so nice that Mikey's is located right next to 16Bit. If you've ever had a couple of drinks and are hungry, you can stop right next door to get some pizza. There is mainly metered parking around this area so finding a spot can get a little iffy if it's busy. The inside is nice and clean. I love the pizza displays so you can drool over the choices you have. Loooove all the sauces. The slices are huge and reheated to a crunchy perfection!

Hey Hey Hey its Phaaa (nvm) ha haha! Anyways, came to Mikey's for a slice and some wings after indulging in some adult beverages. Order: Slice of cheese pizza & 10 Hot Honey Garlic wings Pros: The slice of cheese pizza was a nice size. The inside of the store is spacious for seating. Actually, it was a lot bigger than I thought it would be inside. Cons: I am mad at the wings!!! They cook the wings plain and then put the sauce on the side in a container. You have to toss the wings yourself. I was sooo disappointed because all the sauce went to the bottom of the container and they didnt adhere to the wings at all. The sauce hot honey garlic sauce has potential though. Oooo and the wings are $1 a piece (i.e., 10 wings for $10) not worth it all! The cheese pizza was dry! If I had a fresh one I would have enjoyed it! It took almost 10 mins for us to order once we were at the register because they were rippen and runnin around.
