10 Best Bars in Bangkok

"Hail a cab from the Ekkamai BTS station then zig-zig through narrow residential lanes to reach this a charming mid-century home with a leafy yard: That's Mikkeller, the first Asian location of the beloved Danish beer bar. Here, the so-called "beertenders" dole out samples and tasting flights. While the majority of the offerings are Mikkeller beers, there are also brews from 8 Wired in New Zealand, Lervig in Norway, and Young Master Brewery in Hong Kong. The bar menu, which is robust enough to stand up to the strong IPAs, ranges from finger foods like loaded fries to heartier options like wagyu burgers, homemade sausage, and pork belly with mashed potato." - Ashley Niedringhaus

I've been meaning to come here for several years now and finally found myself in the neighborhood. I've been to other Mikkeller establishments in San Francisco and Singapore and this outpost did not disappoint! They have a large beer selection of outstanding beers. And the food menu is also great with plenty of options. The location is off the beaten path, but in a beautiful quiet neighborhood that was delightfull to wander through to find the place.

This is a must-visit spot in Ekkamai! The smoked ribs are melt in your mouth and flavorful. Rare premium craft beers from around the world. The atmosphere is chill and laid-back, with your choice of cozy indoor seating or a breezy garden. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly know their stuff. Whether you're new to craft beer or a serious fan, they’ll guide you to the perfect match for your food. 🍖🍺

I love Mikkeller and what they've done with beer! Mikkeller Bangkok has a super cozy location, a good walk from Ekkamai station, but it's worth it. Beautiful indoor layout, 30 taps and a fridge filled with the best imports! There's a tasting room in the back, with even more cans/bottles. Seating outside, for small groups, larger groups, and supposedly there will be seating available on the 2nd floor. Friendly, attentive staff! On weekdays it will be lesser crowded.

Great place to have a craft beer or two! It's located in a quiet part of Ekkamai, yet near all the attractions. They have a lot of beer selections for a fair price, we'll be back to try more! 🍻

First of all, a word about staff and location. Staff members are phenomenal! Very kind and helpful. Very hospitable. I have not a single criticism of them. The location is beautiful and off the beaten path. However, the beers on tap are NOT fresh. Very flat, at least when I’ve visited (a number of times). And prices are WAY above anything else you will purchase in Thailand. Doesn’t live up to Mikkeller standards. Not worth it.
