Miss Mikki, Miss Mikki. Where to start. This last visit to this location was a MAJOR inconvenience and their "remedy" to the issue was a gross let down. Customer service is dismal. Note to all drive thru customers...untie the bag right at the window. Don't pull off to do it. Check your order right there because they don't.
ORIGIN OF THE PROBLEM: ordering through their drive-thru (beware...don't do that). I ordered 2 beef tip orders with 3 sides. Can't go wrong there. Guess again! I stated my order and the cashier repeated it back without issue. Smooth sailing right? Wrong! Paid for my order and it was handed to me tied tightly. I was asked did I want a receipt, and luckily I said yes. Looked at the receipt and it wasn't my exact order verbatim, but it was the price of 2 beef tip plates with 3 sides. I pulled to the side to give a quick overview of what I ordered. Keep in mind I had to untie the knotted bag. I noticed I got greens instead of green beans but I just rolled with it because I was ready to go home. I saw the sides and the gravy from quick glance on the plate underneath, so naturally I felt the order was correct and made my way home (which is roughly 25 minutes away).
TIME TO EAT DINNER (psyche): Get home, get comfortable, and was prepared to dig in. Opened the second order, and said, "Where's the meat". I said, "IKYFL". Lo and behold, the damn beef tips said find me. They didn't put any meat with the gravy and rice. The main reason why the meal was $24. At this point I'm hot. I immediately grabbed up the food, and called the establishment to let them know of my issue, and the inconvenience I'm having to experience driving back up there to fix an issue that could've EASILY been avoided if staff checked and QC'd orders before tying so tightly and handing off. On the call, after I pressed the management option, I spoke with "Ciara". I explained to her the issue, and the inconvenience of having to ride back up to there to rectify the issue, and she said she would assist me when I got there.
9 MILE DRIVE BACK TO MIKKIS:
I approached the counter, and talked to the person I spoke with over the phone. I reiterated the issue and the drive it took to come back up there. She asked if I had the plates (duh), she opened the orders, and saw that one of the plates did not have beef tips. I confirmed that's the problem. She took a picture and said she was sending it to her operations manager. She told me the only thing that could be done was either her refunding me for my order, or they fix what was missing, but I couldn't be compensated for the error they caused and the drive that I had to make back up there. Keep in mind, that's 4 trips (from there to home, back up there, from there again, back home). Frustrated and hungry, I told her to fix the order. I was given a bowl of beef tips to go with the plates I brought back up there. No offer to re-fix the plates with fresh food, or anything. I was offered a drink, or a dessert to make up for their miss. I asked for 2 peach cobblers since there were 2 orders. I even told her about being given greens instead of green beans. I was then told, "according to my operations manager, I can only give you one dessert because only one order was messed up". At that point, I was beyond over it. She gave me the one peach cobbler, and I added it to my bag and left out...irritated. I get back in my truck and noticed she did not place my 2 cornbreads and silverware back in my bags after she took the picture to send the operations manager. I went back in to get those, and it seemed as if she was annoyed. That solidified moreover that I will never be back.
FINALLY GET TO RELAX AND EAT DINNER (HA ): Warmed up my food, and bit into the beef tips, and they tasted scorched...burnt. Additionally, the stems in the greens were mini tree branches
Hind sight, I should've just gotten a refund because the hassle and terrible customer service was not worth it. You get better service at Chick-fil-a. Would've gone to The Greasy Spoon if they were open.
