"Miku Sushi is a great spot in Lincoln Square for affordable nigiri, sashimi, and maki. They have a daily deal from 11am-6pm where all of their traditional maki are half off. Standard rolls like tuna or salmon are $4.50, and combination rolls like their Samurai with tuna, yellowtail, and masago are just $7.50. The long, narrow dining space has plenty of table and counter space, so it’s perfect if you’re suddenly put in charge of planning a team lunch for the entire office." - John Ringor

Google
4.5! Upscale sushi spot that has good food and excellent service. Many options on the menu and you can make substitutions (ex. Salmon avocado versus tuna). The prices are a bit steep- $4 for miso soup feels a bit crazy but the food is good. Lots of vegetarian and non-raw options. The lunch menu is not available on the weekends. Atmosphere is vibrant and clean, presentation of the dishes is lovely. Food comes out quickly (not always well-timed). The servers are on top of it in terms of filling up water, they forgot our tea which happens and wasn’t a big deal- it was a busy time Of day!

Google
Excellent sushi and a great ambiance. Had the rock n roll special roll and it was amazing.

Google
They’re lazy and don’t even trim the fat out of their salmon rolls. Go to old Greenwich’s “the sushi bar” for real upscale fish.

Google
One of the best sushi places I’ve been to. I love the fact that the sushi pieces don’t have that many layers of rice, which is good because you don’t fill yourself that quick with just a lot of rice like other places. The dragon roll was super refreshing to end with. Miso soup was at a perfect temperature. The only downside is that we ordered from the outside menu that’s on the door as soon as you enter the restaurant instead of the actual menu. The prices were different and the waiter, knowing that we had the outdoor menu (which it was a to go/ delivery menu) didn’t tell us anything till we had to pay. It will be good if they put a sign saying that the outdoor menu is not for dining at the restaurant, otherwise it’s confusing.

The ambiance is nice and great for a date or for an intimate birthday celebration. Presentation is lovely. The yuzu scallops weren’t what I expected, there was no yuzu coming through. The tuna tartare was simple but again lacking flavor/depth… I’ve had better. My boyfriend was happy with his sashimi, I didn’t care for it. The rock and roll signature roll was the best out of everything. For a place with raving reviews it fell flat. I expected more but maybe it was an off day for the restaurant. I’ll definitely return and try something new. Expect a review update soon!

All of the dishes were so fresh and flavorful at Miku! Some items that really stood out were the spicy tuna crispy bites, sashimi tacos, and Greenwich roll. The service was very professional and attentive, and the atmosphere was intimate and made for a nice date night. High quality food that is very much worth the price!

Google
We visited for my son’s birthday. This was his first omakase but not mine. Quality fish, beautiful presentation, well balanced and creative flavors. The service was excellent. Everyone truly works as a team and notices any need. In my sons words at the end of his first experience “That second dish was more complex and confusing than my SAT…. My mind is tired, but I feel like there is a little minion up there trying to start a generator”. If you’re nearby, it’s a must try.

Delicious food and sushi. Service is good and plentiful. Plenty of options. The tunatartar is good.

Juliette S.

Yelp
Delicious and fresh! Got the chirashi. Nice atmosphere and looks like they have great drinks. Will be back!

Denise G.

Yelp
Love the food! The sushi is fresh and almost buttery in texture! Very delicious Service is good and the decor is very classy. Highly recommend

Yelp
Miku has been my go to spot for sushi for the past two years. The food is really good, especially the sushi. I love coming here on Friday evenings with my wife, as it is a busy, but calm environment. The lights are low and it sets a very relaxing mood for everyone to enjoy their food. The servers are very respectful and are checking on customers in an acceptable manner. The service is quick and efficient. I love that they're able to pay attention to multiple customers all at once. The place is very clean too. I always look at cleanliness before dining in and I can confidently say, MIKU does a great job with keeping the place clean. I love everything about this restaurant. If you're visiting Greenwich, CT, or even passing through, definitely stop by here and grab a bite! You will not regret it!

Yelp
I was hoping to like this place, but the ridiculous menu prices are almost criminal from my perspective. It's an absolute ripoff to be charged $16 for the ridiculous tiny portion of a grilled octopus appetizer. I think the " Crazy Tuna Roll" I ordered is also overpriced as well as many other menu items. Although the food was fresh and tasty, this does not justify the pricing in relation to portions. As such, the reason for my 1 star review. Sadly, will not be back anytime soon.

Robert S.

Yelp
The sushi at MIKU is delicious and fresh. Turnover is fast and the sushi chefs are always quickly and precisely creating their specialties. The restaurant gets busy but is still cozy, seating can be tight, but we're usually too busy focusing on the good meal to notice. Service is good to excellent. Reservations are a must.

Sadie G.

Yelp
Sat outside, table was a little small for 4 people. Would have given 5 stars, but we never received one of our appetizers after reminding servers at least 3 times.

Shivani G.

Yelp
By far the best sushi I've had. Beware, it comes at a high price. Then again, most things on Greenwich ave hurt my wallet. And this sushi is worth the price. My mom and I walked in on a Friday night and were lucky enough to snag a spot at the sushi bar. The kitchen seemed backed up from pick-up orders, so it took about 40 minutes for them to bring us our food. Even though we weren't pleased by the wait, the quality of the sushi completely made up for it. The sushi was beautifully made (it looks like art!) and had so many different bursts of flavors. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

Aliyah C.

Yelp
1. The sushi i got there was so fresh, you can tell they know how to make good sushi 2. The service there was so sweet and patient when I was figuring out my order 3. The ambiance in the restaurant is so classy and beautiful. There's booths and lights on the wall it's gorgeous.

John D.

Yelp
Really good, intricately made special rolls and excellent service make this one of the best sushi spots in the area. I ordered a Starry Night Roll (my personal favorite) and Lobster King Roll while my wife ordered but all the rolls we ordered along with the Madai Asian Pear appetizer were excellent. Also, they have an impressive selection of Japanese whiskey, some of which are difficult to find. All in all, this was a great meal and we will definitely be back.

Audrey C.

Yelp
I've visited this restaurant many times now. Fresh sushi/fish is always served. The dishes are delicious, the service is attentive, and the drinks are delicious. I used to not enjoy seafood but this place really helped change my mind. Side note: the Rock n Roll is one you MUST TRY! I get it every time.

Sloan M.

Yelp
Great food and a very cute decor. I love their lunch special and go during the week whenever I'm in town.

Davina C.

Yelp
We have been to Miku several times and had all the experiences: dine indoor, dine outdoor, takeout, lunch, and dinner. I really love this place and it's poppin on the weekends. The service is great and they were very nice to our son who is 6. We usually have vegetarian sushi so I don't have too much to say about the sushi. The lunch special is great and I love the dressing on the salad. The noodles are very good. So are the gyoza, orange cauliflower, sautéed broccoli, and duck bun. Yum!! The Sauvignon blanc went well with the food and it was nice and chilled.

Marika M.

Yelp
I don't know if these good reviews are made by locals or not, but I assumed people had higher standards in Greenwich. We had 6 special sushi rolls, all of them were absolutely tasteless. Zero flavor.

M D.

Yelp
Fresh and inventive choices... tried crispy rice (delicious but tiny bites and this visit there were dry and less flavorful), sushi rolls were ok, beef hibachi and cod dish were tasty... these dishes stood out more than the sushi. Service has never been stellar (several visits so far). Getting a reservation is like they're doing you a favor. Pretty place. This group is buying up all of Greenwich... lol.

Mary T.

Yelp
Yum. Food is excellent. Beautifully presented. Had hot and cold appetizers. Crispy rice was excellent. Yellowtail/salmon/tuna pizza and Shrimp Shumai were good. Rock Shrimp Tempura was a little too sweet for my liking. Specialty rolls--Greenwich and Starry Skies--were unique and delicious. Service was great. Only 4 stars because the acoustics are terrible. Seated next to a group, where two tables had been pushed together in the front of the restaurant (??), it was difficult to hear other diners speaking at my table. So many wonderful sushi restaurants near/on the Avenue, I think I'd visit others before returning here.

Steven D.

Yelp
A great and affordable spot for high quality sushi on Greenwich Ave. Lovely and lively atmosphere on a Saturday night. Deep and comfy booth seating allowed us to settle into our cocktails. Drinks were very well prepared, included interesting ingredients and difficult to not reorder! You'll find all of your classic options here for sushi and other asian go-tos but mixed in are some dishes that are off the beaten path. All the sushi rolls ordered were delicious, fresh, expertly presented and left us wanting more.

Scott F.

Yelp
Great food, wonderful service , a bit pricey but with it!. Recommend it to those who enjoy Japanese food

Elisa G.

Yelp
Lovely sushi restaurant on a beautiful Sunday of 2020 Labor Day weekend. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather, sake and sushi Miso soup plus combo sushi and sashimi for $80 We enjoyed the salmon most and the presentation was spot on! Servers were Covid compliant as well so we were comfortable sitting outside!!

Kristina N.

Yelp
I work in Greenwich and order lunch from here pretty often. I usually get the Two Roll Lunch Special with miso soup for $13.50. You can up it to three rolls for just $2 more. Ordering through their website is really simple and the sushi quality is pretty fresh! My only suggestion would be to use different soup containers or seal the lids better - they always seem to be popping off and either leak or spill during transit. Regardless, Miku's a great spot to eat on Greenwich Ave.

Shannon B.

Yelp
This was the best sushi i've ever had in my life & the service was amazing! Nothing bad to say

Kailin V.

Yelp
Decor - 8 Food - 7 Staff - 6 Came here for lunch and I was not that impressed. Sushi was mediocre. Staff was really slow and also got our orders incorrect. The scene is really nice and I'd say kid friendly as there were many tweens having lunch with one another.

Yelp
CHECKING OUT!!!!! SIMPLY DESPICABLE!!!! This is an issue I already addressed with the owner but nothing has changed. Great Food, but unfortunately after MANY unpleasant visits we choose not to return. I am a resident in town and dined here at least once per week. Each time with or without a reservation there is so much confusion at check in. Total lack of management. The wait staff is awesome and very attentive. It is the THREE (3) hostesses at check in the 3 stooges that ruin the experience. You tell them your name and they look at each other like ughh, ahh, ohhh??? Today, I called for reservations, Friday nights are typically busy and I know Miku is a hit or miss each time. We wanted a table for 8pm but the person on the phone said nothing was available till 8:30, so I agreed to it. We showed up at 8:10 and informed the staff that we will wait outside for our 8:30 reservation. At 8:20 a table outside became available and after it was cleaned up a couple that walked by us just a min earlier was seated. I called the restaurant to ask for status on our table. The woman was lost in the phone asked me my name again, she had no idea who I am, followed by Ohhhhhh you have a reservation? Ohhh yeah yeah Give us 2 min. At this point my husband lost his patience and appetite so we left. Let me tell you, it takes a lot to piss off my husband and he is firm on never dining here again. At 8:43 hostess called me to finally sit us down. At this point I was standing at McDonalds electronic menu placing food order for us. I expressed my disappointment and hung up. Few min later another lady called me to apologize asking for us to return so she can fix the problem. I gave this place too many chances and you should make it right the first time. This establishment is at a caliber where staff should be more polished. I don't need my ass kissed, and no I am not some rich snob asking for special treatment. We go to BLACKSTONES around the corner once per month after just two visits staff greeted us by first names and we always felt welcome, at Miku I feel like an inconvenience, and that I refuse to pay for. さようなら C ' est la vie! Goodbye Arrivederci Dowidzenia

Kevin R.

Yelp
Good quality food. Delicious (and I never got sick from the fish here - I can't understate how important to me that is for a sushi place) Great hot appetizers too!

Robert S.

Yelp
Great sushi. Prob some of the best I've ever had. The drinks were fantastic. The jalapeño margarita was perfect. Would highly recommend. Definitely will be returning.

Paula C.

Yelp
Very nice place. Beautiful presentation, and amazing quality food. They had very attentive service. Constantly made sure everyone always had water and drinks. I really enjoyed the Wagyu beef, very delicious!

Creed W.

Yelp
Went for sushi as the new place on the Avenue. The decor is very chic and urban. We got there at 6:30pm on a Monday and it was busy, by the time we left it was packed. We started with the crispy bites appetizer with yellowtail. It was good, not what we expected as the yellowtail was mixed. We ordered 2 rolls - the fantastic and spider. Both were very tasty. The Ikura was tasty too. Then we ordered the special fish: mackerel, eel, red snapper and live scallop. The live scallop sashimi was by far the best. Yum! We shared hot saki which was good as well. It was very loud, people were yelling at each other across tables to be heard. Definitely worth a try.

Lauren P.

Yelp
Finally a good sushi place in Greenwich! We ordered rock shrimp, and duck /pork buns for apps. Both very good to start. Was not a fan of the fantastic roll but everything else we had was delicious. Passion roll, crazy tuna roll , and some pieces of sashimi. Very fresh. Loved the atmosphere, nice ambiance. Great service. The bus boy over heard us that we needed spicy mayo and brought it back. We didn't even have a chance to ask the waitress. Went early around 5pm so we sat right down. Will definitely go back.

Wil S.

Yelp
Another sudo Japanese themed restaurant luring patrons with promises of high end Japanese cuisine (ie kissaki). For once within Fairfield County I would like a restaurant that is owned by Japanese with Japanese workers and staff serving Japanese cuisine. This is another decent attempt of non-Japanese owners and staff with their interpretation of what Japanese restaurant should be. It's a blatant knockoff. The benefit of this particular establishment is their ability to offer more than the standard American selection of salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. It has a fun atmosphere and buzzing currently. Would recommend reservations.

Kayla H.

Yelp
We had lunch here earlier today and it was great. Good service and really fresh sushi. We got appetizers as well and everything was fresh and delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Sunny L.

Yelp
The ingredients are super fresh !! Wow This is so goood !!! I highly recommend you I like my server she's so cute and sweet , recommended me drinks and she's been great I just really love the toro , uni and scallion Absolutely fresh !!!

Marie S.

Yelp
MIKU Sushi has become the gold standard for Greenwich sushi; tonight it was just ok. With ever increasing popularity, MIKU no longer offers delivery. I opted for curbside pickup. Now many months into Covid, MIKU offers seated dining. It's worth a trip purely for the ambience. The flaming lanterns at night are beautiful. On this cool October evening, it felt more like a spot on a Caribbean island than Connecticut. But this review is about the food & that's where I have to gripe a little. They forgot the soy sauce, the portions were small. It wasn't the same as before but it's still good.

Komal P.

Yelp
Overall a cute restaurant but what they lack is service skills. We were lucky enough to sit indoors because it was a little chilly outside. After we were seated we had time to peruse the menus, both of us had time to go to the bathrooms and all while no one came to check if we wanted to order drinks, water etc. We sat there for a while until we had to forcefully try get attention of someone to help us. Although there were a few people inside being tended to, it seemed like all the attention was to everyone sitting outside. The food was good. We both ordered ramen, very fitting for a cool autumn day. The drinks were yummy and refreshing. Try your luck if you stop in some time.

Peter B.

Yelp
Very good sushi - wish they'd deliver locally. Their combo dinners are a great value proposition.

Steph H.

Yelp
Love Miku-- I have been many times and each time it's delicious! It's a great date night spot as well as for a family dinner. The sushi is good and loved their sashimi. The entrees and appetizers are also great and not to be overlooked. I love their shishito peppers and my mom loves their tempura. I feel like it's so easy to eat healthy there and the prices are pretty good for location and quality!

Elba A.

Yelp
Don't do it! Overpriced food that it's not even worth it! Ordered the $25 ramen which had a weird smell. Trust me... I love ramen and had visited numerous Ramen restaurants. I understand that this is not a ramen restaurant but the soup was simply the worst I veered had! I ordered a basic roll and the roll was extremely tiny and very fishy. Honestly, the food here gave me a stomach ache. I don't recommend! The only reason for the 2 star rating was because my server was very nice.

Bobby B.

Yelp
This place is superior than Hinoki, despite the fact that they have the same owner? The service is excellent. The meal presentation is fantastic, although the most of it is on the salty side.

Sofia D.

Yelp
Very greedy Management!!! But the sushi is nice. I ordered take away lunch menu for my daughter. I came to take the order, but after a while my daughter said that the rolls looks different this time for previous order, I thought that maybe they sometimes make it different. But then I got phone call from the waitress that accepted the payment and gave me the paper bag with a lunch and she said that I took different bag. I was surprised because she was in front of me when the only one bag that was there on the table. I said that we felt that the order today is different, but then she said that this lunch is more expensive and now I owe her $10. SERIOUSLY?!? For her mistake she wanted me to pay, she didn't think to apologize for offering me different order, that might have included ingredients that could be unacceptable for the costumer... When I said that this wasn't my mistake she said something in an annoyed and angry tone and hang up on me..

Julia H.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate hubby's bday. We ordered the following: - king crab soup (as they were out of uni soup) - live scallop - a variety of sushi - chicken udon First of all they were great with bringing out the udon for our son to eat first - udon was typical and fine so nothing much to say there. We wanted to try the uni soup since we have never seen this item on the menu before but sadly they were out but offered us a king crab version instead which was few really good! The live scallop was beautiful and so fresh! It was tthe highlight of the meal! Hubby typically doesn't eat raw scallop unless it's omakase and he loved it! The sushi was also really goos and surprisingly really little rice on it. We have never had sushi with that little rice, even at omakase. Definitely worth a visit but do keep in mind that it is more pricey then the typical sushi restaurant.

Nico C.

Yelp
FANTASTIC!! Visited as a result of a recommendation and it didn't disappoint! Pricey but you get quality and luxury dining experience! Their fish is the best, so good we ordered most plates twice! From the soy sauce to the sake this is the best experience I've had in a very long time. Definitely worth a visit!

Jackie G.

Yelp
Ate here for the first time with friends who dine here often and wow - the staff was so welcoming! The ambiance was cool, the drinks were great, and all of our appetizers and sushi were some of the best I've had in a long time for the area. Can't wait to come back!

Marc B.

Yelp
Beautiful fresh sushi. Honestly, some of the freshest fish we have tried. Gorgeous arrangement of food on the plate. There's also Ramen, teriyaki, miso, and other non-sushi dishes for those who do not eat fish. May need to make a reservation depending on the night.

Tim A.

Yelp
Fresh, delicious and beautiful sushi. Creative cocktails as well. I highly recommend.

Adam W.

Yelp
Awesome experience at MIKU with friends! Had the most incredible server (her name was May) who not only provided excellent recommendations (white king salmon, live scallops), but also was very friendly, enthusiastic, and really helped make our night better. We ordered a little bit of everything from the duck roll, shumai, crunchy rice/tuna, yellowtail jalepeño, love scallop, to the usual special rolls. Everything was fantastic. In fact the only thing lacking a little bit was the duck, however it was still very juicy and tender. Did I mention the live scallop? Absolutely mind blowing. Thinly-sliced, melted like butter in your mouth, and served with a semi sweet sauce on the side. Overall a fantastic experience with a big bill, but no complaints from our group. Will definitely go back.

Leslie S.

Yelp
Have ordered here multiple times and eaten at the sushi bar as well. Always excellent; except tonight, yellowtail was fishy.

Curtis K.

Yelp
I keep coming back here because the rolls are consistently good - I like dragon and their sweet potato and their chirashi is right as well. But the real star here is literally every server I have had has been super attentive and nice in a genuine way. In every different configuration of crew - date night with wife, family with two out of control boys, solo day with my dog - the servers have always been really awesome. Also even their hostess is well trained and nice.

FiDiDoggie F.

Yelp
always busy, foods good, could use more servers. nice to have outside to bring your pets.

Dean C.

Yelp
Oh my god. Did I just die and go to heaven? Thank you Yelp for finding this amazing place for me. This place is brand new and absolutely beautiful. The interior is sleek, wooden, exposed brick with big spacious booths. We ordered the pork gyoza - it was phenomenal, tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. We ordered so much sushi and it's pictured - too much to name. The sushi was so fresh and we didn't feel bloated (3 of us eating)This place is amazing!! It needs yelp waitlist plus tho so you can book reservations, and waitlist.

Christie A.

Yelp
We were in a rush to catch a movie after I picked my boyfriend up from work & I called the order to eat in ahead of time. They were very accommodating & had everything ready by the time we got there ! I ordered a Matcha Margarita (mocktail) when I arrived & I LOVED it! It was sweet, but not too sweet, you can taste the green tea & the lime. Both paired nicely together! It was so refreshing & beautiful to look at. I ordered the tofu teriyaki & the sauce came on the side which was nice! I forgot to take a picture when it first came out because I was so excited! The tofu was fried lightly but not so much where it tasted unhealthy. The tofu is a soft silky texture. The teriyaki sauce was thick & flavorful. The vegetables in the dish were soft & steamed well! The entree came with a miso soup. The miso soup was really fresh & delicious. They did NOT skimp on the seaweed or tofu in it! The atmosphere is really trendy & cute. I would def come back for a date night!
