Man Accidentally Shot at Mile High Spirits Gets Free Drinks for Life | Eater Denver

"A Denver distillery where an off-duty FBI agent accidentally discharged a firearm while dancing and attempting a back flip, injuring an unnamed man in the leg; Denver police are investigating the agent, identified as Chase Bishop. The distillery posted on Facebook that the team is praying for the victim’s quick recovery and has offered the injured man complimentary drinks for life, and the victim is expected to fully recover." - Josie Sexton

Did a cocktail making class with Kai. Had an amazing experience and the distillery tour was an awesome add to the experience. The distillery had elaborate fall decorations up which was a really fun twist on the experience. Not only was Kai knowledgeable and happy to answer the many questions we threw at him, but he was super engaging, conversational and eager to be with us. Would 10/10 recommend to friends for a fun night out.

Just performed music and flow arts here. Walking in, before I could exclaim I was booked to play, I was met with a warm welcome. That's how you know it's legit. Solid staff, classy cocktails including NA options, great sound engineer and atmosphere no doubt. Will be back.

Ryan and I came here because we won tickets to a cocktail making class here and also a bottle of wine and tour of the distillery! Kai did such a phenomenal job and we wanted to give him a huge shout out. The class was so fun and informative. He made it really special for us and our two friends and it was a very special outting for us celebrating! We also got to celebrate the season and just enjoy our time out together. Mike High Spirits is fun and vibrant and always has great music and often like today they had live music! The drinks were perfect and unique and we always come here for a good time whether it’s a prize we won or just walking by and visiting on a whim or a planned visit. It’s always a delight and I highly recommend not just coming here but planning a tour as well! Check out my Instagram if you follow for a full reel of this event and some more info of our time we had!

We were blown away by our first visit to the reimagined Mile High Spirits Tasting Room. 🤩 Kelly crafted the perfect "Raspberry Kiss" cocktail which was a very good blend of Honeydew Vodka, Raspberry Mead, and Lemon. 🍹 DJ J|Adore's captivating beats were the perfect soundtrack, enhancing the chill vibe of the reimagined space. 🎶

Google
We signed up for the Bonding with Bourbon class and distillery tour. First of all, the distillery itself was exactly the kind of place I'd want to hang out for a few drinks—cheeky, fun, and definite party vibes. The tour and class were led by Marissa, who blew us away with her handle on the science of bourbon, mixology savvy, and sense of humor. Her hospitality was truly memorable!

Google
Took the distillery tour, hosted by Kai. Very informative and fun intro to how the various liquors are made. And of course with samples! It’s also a pretty cool place for a large party or event with both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Google
I'm very pleased with the transition into the new tasting room concept! Scott the bartender sold me on a delicious smoky cocktail called brothers in bond! Yum!! The vanilla really mixes well with the amaretto and smoke into a delicious treat! Koa the host is pretty kewl too!

Google
Not a huge fan of downtown clubs but this one hits different. Great music and fantastic vibes. Their use of headphones were dope. A bit crowded but what else is new? Also, their light show was awesome

Yelp
Mile High Spirits has my heart. Not only are the cocktails literally out of this world, but the service-forward hospitality will leave a lasting impact on anyone that walks in that establishment, far after you've left. I've tried a variety of drinks here, but my favorite has got to be the Just My Luck - a fruity and light cocktail made with the Denver Dry Gin. A close second is the "Nut a day keeps the doctor away," which is made with their (delicious) almond tequila. The distillery alone is very impressive, before adding in the immaculate vibes of the space and people who fill it. Everyone who works there is happy to talk to guests about the whiskey distilling process, their go-to cocktails, and the story behind this bar. Note: They have transitioned away from the party scene MHS used to be. No more silent disco, but same spirits - just elevated. I highly reccomend checking out what they've done with the space and how they have encapsulated the amazing spirits into hand crafted cocktails that will blow your mind.

Yelp
This was my first time at this awesome spot after telling my friends for way too long that I'd finally come--and I'm so glad I did! The laid-back ambiance and great music set the perfect mood, and the drinks are super unique and seriously tasty. We also received a personal tour of the distillery in which it was enjoyable. It also happened to be Annie's last shift, so I'm really glad I came out tonight to experience it while she was still here. I'm sure this won't be my last visit--can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We hosted a whiskey tasting for our board with Mile High Spirits and it was an incredible experience. One of the owners Wyn was our tour guide and did an excellent job - he explained a lot of the science behind making alcohol and answered a ton of questions from the whiskey aficionados in our group. They were very accommodating with letting us cater in food and bring in a live musician. Isaiah was our bartender and our crowd kept him busy making old fashions and specialty cocktails all night. The venue is very urban chic and authentic distillery with a great setup of low and high top tables, and decor. Our group was wowed by the overall experience! We will definitely be back for drinks and look forward to hosting an event with them in the future!

Yelp
I'm not usually a big cocktail drinker, but the Pirates Booty made by Zach is a dessert in a drink. Truly amazing experience at this great distillery and craft cocktail lounge accompanied by a friendly, passionate staff that has amazing customer service. From the exceptional above and beyond service, the comfortable laid back vibe to the unique and scrumptious drinks, this place has stolen my heart I've been back every weekend since the first time I came to get my fix of the Pirate's Booty and even try some samples on the house of their spirits, showing their generous and engaged hospitality. I even liked the Afternoon Tea when I tried a sip of someone else's, which is served with delicious blueberry scones.

Yelp
I went in for a cocktail making class for Halloween and we made beetlejuice themed cocktails! This was hosted in their barrel room that they transform for special occasions/events. Super fun class and atmosphere!

Yelp
Staff was incredible! Very nice place with a beautiful outdoor patio. Great drinks & again, the staff was above & beyond great to us as we were from out of town for a few days. Strongly recommended.

Yelp
Mile High Spirits was a great place for Crystal and I and our two friends to go into for a break from the heat and have a place to hang out together. They have games and fun art to look at and lots of good music from either a dj or live band. They have a hilarious vending machine you need to check out that we bought a couple things from. There are tons of photo ops for you and your friends. The drinks were pretty good deals and had some fun cocktail options. The people were incredibly friendly fun but professional. We definitely look forward to coming back here again soon! Ps this is an age 21 plus place.

Yelp
This place is an absolute legend! My buddy hosted a whiskey event and I did not know what we was in for. Our tour guide was absolutely amazing sharing the knowledge and history about alcohol. The live music was so enjoyable, even if your not a whiskey drinker, you can play chemist and make up your own concoction! A Disney Land for adults

Yelp
This distillery has the best cocktail program! Love the local infused liquors, and the creative ingredients and the fun menu. $8 specialty cocktails during happy hour from 4-7 and they are all a double pour. So...after a hearty late lunch we came in to try Mile High. The friendly bartender gave a little spiel and later invited us to peek behind the scenes at the tanks. I really liked the Jack Sparrow, a coconut pineapple rum drink but it was much like many tropical drinks. But I wanted to try to Almond infused tequila in a drink without the espresso, so the bartender made me a spritzer where it was almond forward. Delicious! Husband had a TSL (tequila, strawberry, lemonade) margarita style drink, with one of their white tequilas. It was super tasty, if not very unique. No pictures of drinks or bar, but I would totally recommend!

Yelp
It's always a fun time at Mile High Spirits. Yesterday was the first day I went when it wasn't a weekend and it looked so different. They have bingo every Thursday from 7-10pm with a DJ and it was popin! They are currently doing a outside pop up bar for the season on the weekends with fun drinks like spiced hot coco, appletinis, pop rocks shots, hot toddies and more! I recommend going if you are wanting to do something fun for the weekend! They do have a cover on the weekends after a certain time but it's worth it!

Yelp
This is an amazing bar with great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable about the whiskeys they distill. They have a very large bar with lots of games and a huge back patio area with bags and covered seating area. If you haven't checked this out and you love whiskey in Denver this needs to be on your to do list.

Yelp
We were doing rounds of distilleries in Denver and had this place actually towards the bottom of our list but wanted to check it out anyway. We were greeted by a group of loud and obnoxious people doing a biking tour but we got our flight and headed outside to try our drinks in peace. We got two flights, one of mostly gin, ad the other with tequila and whisky. The place looks a bit sporty and seems to be a converted warehouse so it's quite spacious and open. There's a turfed area with covered seating areas and fireplaces; and a stage for probably a dj. Sporty inside, tiki bar vibes outside. We were very pleasantly surprised by all of the liquors we tasted and actually ended up buying numerous bottles of gin to take back from our trip. Really underestimated this place and what they had to offer, and disappointed we can't find them in TX. Would like to go back and try some of their cocktails (and get another couple bottles :) )

Maggie G.

Yelp
We went to mile high spirits to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was our first time here and we were not sure what to expect. The staff was rude and incompetent. It was such an awkward experience when ordering at the bar. They forgot our order twice over the course of our time there. We felt very judged and uncomfortable. We will never be going back. Would give negative stars if possible.

Diana P.

Yelp
The snackies are delicious! I really enjoyed the hummus and chips. The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable about the whiskey. Kai, the tour guide, is amazing! The new cocktail vibe is great and very different to the party vibe it used to be.
google avatar

Ashlee P.

Yelp
We did not expect to like this place as much as we did. Don't let the tiki bar facade fool you, this place knows spirits. The gin stood out to us the most, but their whiskies were scrumptious as well. We were so impressed by the gin, we had to buy two bottles of each, and the tequila was so unique, we had to get a bottle for a margarita loving friend. The outdoor space is chill and comfortable. I recommend doing a tasting during the day because this place gets lively at night, but if the party life is what you're looking for, you can spend the evening sipping and dancing on their patio.
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
Not friendly to tourist. Quite disappointed. We here for the GABF event and walking around checking out anything and everything related to the art of brewing & distilling. We walked in and no welcome or service or greeting on how service works. Nothing. We felt dumb just standing around so we left as there are many other places to check out. Do NOT recommend.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
This local urban distillery remains one of my favorites in Denver. From the high-quality spirits to the incredible craft cocktails, it's always a great time. The knowledgeable staff will help guide you to your new favorite drink, and the indoor and outdoor spaces are open, comfortable, and welcoming. And they always have something happening. Charity events, silent discos, and tours dominate their calendar, so be sure to check out their website.

Yelp
I loved this place but I also love alcohol so I guess I am extremely biased. We had 3 bourbons. We had the Fireside Single Barrel, Fireside Barrel share and a wheated bourbon. My favorite was the barrel share one. It had a complex flavor to it. I wanted a bottle but they were sold out. My friend thought the single barrel was the best, but they were also out of bottles. I ended up purchasing the wheated bourbon which wasn't bad for $55 dollars. The thing I loved the most about this place was our self proclaimed professional alcoholic server. He was super friendly, and helpful in explaining everything to us. We sat outside in a heated tent and the tables were socially distanced very well. - I would probably say this was one of the highlights of my Denver trip.

Yelp
Great place in downtown Denver. Got the recommendation from a friend and happy I stopped by to check it out. They make their own special alcohols which makes the bar very unique! Came on a Saturday night. DJ doesn't come on till 10pm and doesn't get busy till 11pm. Came here for a night of dancing and felt like Mile High Spirits provides it. Very good size dance floor! Nice little outdoor area to cool off or chat with friends.

Yelp
LET ME JUST GIVE YOU 2 WARNINGS: #1- the drinks are REALLY strong #2- i'm a lightweight currently drinking at high elevation. This place is neat in that they infuse their own spirits in all sorts of flavor combinations. Chocolate donut bourbon, caramel vodka, and cinnamon rum are just a few examples. My partner got the BlackBerry mist which was bourbon infused with blackberries. He described it as "sweet and fruit forward, smooth." I had the caramel float which was caramel infused vodka with rootbeer; it sounds just like it was except delicious and strong. I would like to focus on the flight we got of 3 spirits with 3/4 ounce pours. The aged rum had strong notes of vanilla. The peach whiskey had a strong fruit flavor, particularly on the nose. The chocolate donut bourbon was sweet and smooth, almost like a liqueur (or an actual donut). When I tried these, I expected to make a face of disgust but it never came because the flavors of all were so smooth even a baby could drink (DISCLAIMER: giving alcohol to your children is not funny and could result in your children being removed from your care. Please don't do it). Also, i'm writing this while still at this place and I may be feeling the results of their product. Happy Saturday!

Yelp
We came here as a part of a drinking tour of Denver. Since we were a little bit tired of breweries, we set our sights on this place since all the included the words distillery, bourbon, and a cool lounge area. They also have a free tour here which we had to leave my phone number and the tour guide gracefully accommodated us even for being late. The tour is quick and easy. Nothing too adventurous for the modest drinker. You'll see the process of how alcohol is created and stored. But of course the best is the fun to drink the cocktails at the bar. (Which takes a little bit of time because it was a bit crowded on the weekends) When we were here, there was no band playing but a stage was set at the far corner. They have spirits here for sale which we liked. The Fireside peach was a winner for most of us and the cocktails were good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Fun place to come with friends, but do expect a wait.

Yelp
My girls and I went here for the weekly Dirty Bingo session and it was so fun!! The ambiance is so chill, the service was excellent and the drinks were amazing! The taco truck right outside was a plus, they were delicious. Don't forget get to take home a bottle of almond tequila. I know how it sounds but it tastes Fantastic!!

Yelp
We came here with some new friends, I do love the atmosphere. It is definitely one of my favorite places here in Denver. I'm so glad we got to visit, we ordered two drinks that were on point. I don't think there is anything you could get here that doesn't taste good.
google avatar

Yelp
Cool industrial indoor area with stage. Nice Astro turf backyard with a food truck and bar. Fun spirits they make in the house. Good cocktails. Chicken Rebel looks like they were serving up yummy food, but didn't try it.

Yelp
A-OK place for going out in Denver. It was definitely crowded on a Saturday night, shoulder to shoulder, despite how spacious the place is. It's certainly popular among all the cool kids. We visited Mile High Spirits around midnight and stayed 'til it closed, around 2AM. The first section where you enter Mile High Spirits is where the DJ was and everyone dancing. The bar is on the side of the room. The adjacent room is a patio area that was pretty chill, with lawn games and an outdoor bar area. This area was mostly used when people needed to get some fresh air and to take a break from dancing. The crowd was mostly chill. It was a mix of younger and older peeps and some hella dressed up and some in more casual apparel. It felt less douchey here than the other places we visited. Staff was also friendly. For going out in Denver this was a fine spot.
google avatar

Aaron N.

Yelp
Well if you are planning a tour, be careful they start early (not at designated time) and you get left behind. When we inquired, and mentioned we had been waiting, we were told we could catch the next tour, but the staff member was not exactly sure of the time (45-50 minutes later). We asked for a refund and the staff member was surprised we had actually paid. What the heck so you don't have to pay?!? We received our refund. Don't book online. Would not suggest- the wife.

Yelp
I seriously thought they only served water here, I learned otherwise, and Dan is the man

Yelp
Went back for their FREE Thursday night bingo, it was a blast! Love the vibe and the staff, shout out to Honey, she's awesome.

Jake S.

Yelp
One of the best spots in Denver. There's a mixed drink and a different set of music for everyone in this place. Weather you're from out of town or a native everyone is always having a good time at Mike High Spirits.
google avatar

Carrie L.

Yelp
My friends took me here last month and we went back again a couple weeks ago... I was skeptical and didn't want to like it, but there are far more positive things to say than negative. They have great music that people actually dance to; large outdoor space; water cooler is awesome; drinks inside made well/strong (better than outside); shout out to bartender ALEX who was super fun and friendly to us; the entry line can get long at night but typically moves pretty fast.
google avatar

alex d.

Yelp
Korey is the man. He took us on a distillery tour, and he made us feel welcomed immediately. He was super knowledgeable on the fermentation process and his barrel knowledge was impressive as well. We ended up buying some bottles to go, great customer service and the drinks oweeeee get ready for some great flavors. My favorite was the old fashioned, the tequilas hit the spot as well. Do not hesitate to go to this establishment. Good people good drinks, keep it simple.
google avatar

Kendall B.

Yelp
If you're looking for a local place in downtown Denver, this is your place! Walking in, you already feel welcomed. It's a bright and chill vibe life's down with tons of wood to match the theme. They hand infuse every vodka they have with flavors like honey bourbon, pineapple, blueberry, mango tequila and the list goes on and on. They have pools tables and awesome leather couches with a cute outside area for games. Pretty neat place!
google avatar

Morgan K.

Yelp
Bingo nights on Thursdays are a blast! Free to play and win bottles! The host Boone is amazing :)
google avatar

Yelp
If your a person that is looking for cheap drinks and a good DJ this place it for you. If your looking for a distillery tasting room, this is not it. It's truly a bar that makes their own spirits. Some of the worst tasting 'well quality' spirits I've ever had. This is a place that survives in selling mixed drinks, and having a good DJ.
google avatar

Jason J.

Yelp
Something to know about MHS: It's a bar first, distillery second. Now, that doesn't mean it's bad or comparatively worse or better than anywhere else - that just means it's that thing. Don't go in expecting a calm, quiet, distillery with a tasting room and things like that. That's simply not it. I went on a Thursday night to a private event, which meant they were closed to the general public. So that helped keep crowds low, and certainly made it less rowdy. But the overall feel is definitely wide open bar - they've got a stage and plenty of room to boogie - more than a distillery. Cocktails were just fine, the spirits themselves aren't my favorite but they certainly taste better than most things you'd find in the well at your local dive bar, and the service was really great. They also have happy hour, and great happy hour prices, which earns them the full 4th star. At the end of the day drinks aren't super expensive, I've heard loads of stories about fun music (DJs, Bands, etc) and it's a nice place to hang out. I don't think I'd have any interest in hanging out when LoDo turns to BroDo after 10p, but who knows, I might surprise myself. If friends wanted to go here, I probably wouldn't say no. Here's to booze!
google avatar

Cassandra B.

Yelp
Don't come here asking for a shot of Jameson, or any other name brand liquor for that matter, because Mile High Spirits proudly makes all their own whiskey and vodka. Mile High Spirits is located right across the street from Great Divide Brewing Company, so this is a prime bar hopping area people. I already knew what I was going to order because the Yelp reviews and locals applauded this drink: A Cucumber Moscow Mule for the tune of $6. The bartender confirmed that this cocktail was the most popular item on the menu. It was refreshing and smooth, and pushed me into tipsy land. Unfortunately for me, the copper mug my drink was meant to be served in was unavailable and my drink was served in a regular 'ol glass cup. Besides this hiccup, everything was awesome at Mile High Spirits. The cute bartender was on point and even let us sample some blueberry vodka and a spicy pickle vodka. I loved how spacious this distillery was. I could literally run around like a crazy person if I wanted to. The vibe felt trendy and most patrons were in their 20s or 30s. There was a really cool outdoor area with two corn hole set-ups. Most people were actually hanging out in this grassy area enjoying the sun. My group of 3 all enjoyed their cocktails and thought Mile High Spirits was an awesome hangout spot. I would definitely recommend the Cucumber Mule. YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2015: #207

Yelp
I stopped in here one Saturday afternoon solely because my liquor preferring friends needed a break from our brewery bar crawl...I am happy I did!! Besides from the huge selection of amazing infused liquors (vodka, tequila, whiskey, moonshine, etc.) The bartender was phenomenal! She had great suggestions based on things we told her we liked and was the perfect amount of attentive but not rushing. Of the different varieties I tried - my favorites were the apple pie moonshine and the pickle vodka! I highly recommend coming here in the afternoon as opposed to the evening because it isn't crowded, there's lots of room to hang, and they even have outlets for those of you who run through your phone batteries too quickly!

Yelp
Nice, big place.... setup for events and parties! Decent backyard area with food truck. Great original drinks wonderful service!

Yelp
My friends and I wanted to stop here for a quick drink before heading to dinner. We sat at the bar and ordered some bourbon. *Fireside Bourbon* They described it as... "Smoky oak and peppery notes result from aging in white American Oak barrels. A true bourbon made from corn, rye and barley that finishes better than the rest." It was definitely good stuff. It was better than some of the more expensive and well aged bourbons that I've drank. Based on the one excellent bourbon that I had, I would be very curious to try their other spirits. Both of my friends bought a bottle of it to take home. They had some sort of concert that was shown on the screen through some live feed, so it was getting a bit on the loud side just as we were leaving for dinner.

Angela E.

Yelp
Women, the bathroom closes at 1:45. The bathroom attendant doesn't let you use the bathroom after 1:45 because it's too much work to clean up for her.

Nicole N.

Yelp
Drinks are really good! Awesome bartenders. Crowd is kind of boring music could've been better
google avatar

Yelp
Second time here today. They wand you down like your at a high profile celebrity event. Once your in it's fun! Silent disco was a blast.
google avatar

Yelp
There's a reason the line to enter wraps around the building at Mile High Spirits if you visit on a Saturday night. The reason is the distilled spirits that go into the uniquely crafted cocktails that are served here. This downtown gem is a must-go if you are in town visiting. If a high energy nightlife scene is your thing, you will find it here along with dancing and a live DJ after dark. If you prefer a laid back atmosphere where you can taste and enjoy the drinks, I recommend you get here a little earlier in the day as the place does get packed at night. They'll allow you to sample their infused spirits and their drinks are ALL one of a kind...you can go wrong. I tried the Cherry Pepper Vodka, Maple Bourbon, Cucumber lime Tequila and more... even the uninfused spirits are smooth just as they are. These guys are doing it right and I'm excited to take another tour of their distillery in the near future...oh and one more thing - The Punching Mule (Moscow mule in a can!)

Yelp
Based on reviews and a colleague's recommendation, my gfs and I decided to check this place out. This place is big and spacious when you walk in. They have a bar area, tables and chairs (cleared out after 10 pm), a stage for DJ or live band, and a door to outside their patio. The place is clean and the bathrooms are too. They also have an area with couches to relax on. This place make their own assortment of drinks so you will not find any kind of beer or wine on their menu. My gf ordered a mango vodka and I ordered their pineapple mule which was absolutely delicious. They cleared their tables and chairs out for an open floor for dancing. There was a DJ there that night. He played a pretty good mix of music. The crowd there is mainly college kids. It's a great place for dancing but not to potentially meet anyone if you're in you're late 30s.....hehe....maybe for the guys if they wanna pick up baby chicks and be their sugar daddy. They do have a food truck outside if you're hungry which we didn't try. We had fun and would definitely come back for dancing and the good mix of music.

Yelp
In case you missed it- a man was shot in the leg here on Friday night (6/1/18). The security and staff did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help the man shot or he situation. We were directly next to the man and had to help him to the ground and make a tourniquet for his leg while we called 911. We even had to shout at the staff to turn the music off because everyone on the staff just stood there with no plan of what to do in a situation like this. I understand that people panic in these types of situations. However, after the man left in the ambulance, we waited to make our statements to the police and the security staff was LAUGHING about the man getting shot, saying they've been shot before and blah blah just cracking up laughing. At the same time we are sitting there very upset about what we just witnessed. These staff member kept coming over near us and laughing and joking very loud on purpose- it was incredibly rude and I will never set foot in that place again. You think It's funny that you had a shooting in your own bar??? The only person concerned was a very nice female bartender that brought us water while we waited and kept apologizing that we had to witness that- thank you for your compassion but the rest of the security staff should be fired immediately. It was truly disgusting how they reacted. I wonder what the owner has to say. Don't go to this bar because if there is an emergency situation- you are out of luck.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved this place. Went in for opening on Friday so it was not very busy. Tried a flight. They have two options: 3/10 or 5/15. They make their own infused alcohols with things like almond tequila, pickle vodka and strawberry bourbon. The tasting is the way to go! They sell bottles at a very reasonable price. Got the peach whiskey it was delicious. Service was friendly and informative. Will stop again when in the area. Don't let the neighbourhood deter you it worth checking out

Yelp
Mile High Spirits was one of my favorite discoveries on my first visit to Denver back in 2013. We liked it so much we went twice during our stay. Since then, the location has changed and Denver has a lot more to offer in terms of distilleries. On our visit this April, we started a sunny Saturday at Mile High Spirits, and we weren't alone in our plan. There was a band and lots of people getting the party started early in the day. There were only one or two bartenders and the wait time for a beverage was pretty significant. This time, the focus seemed to be less on the distillery/spirits and more on the rowdy bar aspect. It was fine, but not really what we were looking for with respect to a chill Saturday. If a party scene is what you're after, Mile High certainly fits the bill. For higher quality cocktails, I'd probably look elsewhere. Nonetheless, a fun place for a drink.

Yelp
We were in Denver and had read about tours at Mile High Spirits. My GF is a bourbon lover and we saw that had a few tasty looking bourbon choices. We decided to book a tour and took The Steamy Wonder Special (Free Tour). We had the good luck of getting Hailey for our tour guide. She knew the distilling process down cold and did a great job of explaining the process and the different spirits that Mile High Spirits produces. Hailey was very entertaining and is a great representative Mile High Spirits. She described which of their products we may enjoy after listening to what we already liked from other distilleries. Hailey did a great job of promoting their products without doing a hard sell. All of their products were available for sale plus they had a full bar. If you are lucky enough to get Hailey as your tour guide mention that you work for OSHA plus are from the Chicago suburbs and you can score a few extra samples.
