"There’s a festive holiday feeling at Milenta that’s hard to put your finger on. Maybe it’s the alfresco dining room set under a canopy of lush trees, or the South American-inspired fare by chef Elie Assaf, who takes pride in sourcing unique ingredients from local shores and cooking them over fire and coals in the open kitchen. But it’s most likely the fact that Milenta was conceived by some of the city’s most seasoned party planners, who know how to set the mood for a good night out. Stick around long enough and you might gain access to the adjoining members-only club — the Shy Guy — where you can dance off your dinner. — LJ" - Hillary Eaton, Leisha Jones

Hands down the best place for lunch or dinner—Milenta is a must-visit! Whether you're planning a romantic date night, catching up with friends, or hosting a work meeting, Milenta delivers every time. The food is simply unforgettable—each dish bursting with flavor and creativity. Their margaritas? Absolutely top-tier. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.

Consistently serving up amazing food! Have been here a few times now with different seasonal menus and service, food, quality is always amazing. Prices are definitely on the higher end but so good for a special occasion and the portions are great for a fancy spot. Between 2 people we were already full from the first two smaller dishes

A personal favorite, a modern take on South American cuisine without losing the essential flavors, which can only be achieved with deep knowledge of a particular cuisine. Wood fired food techniques with mastery, rich sauces with layers of flavors. The most attentive hosts and great atmosphere. I have brought multiple friends to dine here and nobody has been disappointed.

Loved our first dinner here. We arrived early for our reservation and was very kindly welcomed by Ashleigh. From the fabulous grilled octopus to the beautifully charred rib eye, including the broccoli and potatoes, we had one mouthful of bliss after another. The octopus was bursting with flavour and balanced out with the crema. The steak was wonderful, grilled to perfection and topped with the chimichurri was a match made in heaven. Finally, we finished with the suspiro dessert that came with a theatrical flair - burning the merangue with an iron spatula on the table. We were so full and were already planning what to try on our next visit. Compliments to the chef and the team. Looks like we’ve found another gem to add to our favourite go-to places.

Was a bit difficult to find the restaurant but the food was SO good. I had the cured kingfish, the chicharron, and the market fish and it was all amazing. Service was attentive, too.

I am totally blown away by this restaurant. Its a total gem with amazing and cosy atmosphere. Latin music - love it. We arrived on Valentines evening and it was packed. The table we were seated was close the bar, hence heavy wait staff traffic. Center tables were a bit too close to each other. We kindly asked to be moved to a quitter table corner seating and they were very kind to do so. We were given free cocktail shots from the bar which was really nice. Service from start is excellent, very friendly and welcoming staff considering a busy stressful night for them. We thought of ordering a bottle of wine but we would get 4 different cocktails for the same price, so why not. Their cocktails are amazing especially the margarita and Lychee. Entree we had the King Fish Ceviche and Banana prawns... totally blown away by the taste. The mains were Grilled Market Fish and Grilled Pollo rojo Spot on. Desert was Milhojas de Fruta, All in all it was a wonderful experience and has become one of our favorite restaurants in Auckland. xoxo. Total bill for 2 people. $240.00
