Milias Apartments

Wow... they have really restored this building to it's former glory. The lobby is beautiful and the studios have been remodeled. It is simply charming. The manager is very attentive and friendly. This building is very well taken care of. I looked for apartments all over but nothing was as affordable as this- and utilities were included!! Can't beat it. I would highly recommend this place.

Roaches everywhere! Cant believe owner does not take the time or want to spend the money to fumigate. That is not healthy.

The worst place I have ever lived at, I only lived here for 2 months and had the worst experience. Everything seemed all dandy when I signed my lease but the moment I moved stuff in I noticed cockroaches everywhere... when I say everywhere I mean EVERYWHERE. My bed, under the sink, the closet, etc. I had to throw everything away when I moved out. I had made Bernie and the owners bomb my apartment 2 times and they were still everywhere. Bernie was extremely unprofessional, yelled at me multiple times for explaining that the roaches would not go away. Mind you, I spent hours cleaning my apartment with bleach and roach spray whenever I cooked something. Bernie and the owner of the building blamed me for the roaches, even though this building is FILLED with them. I called the health department and every resource possible. Owners did not want to let me out of my lease until I contacted a lawyer, got into an argument with the actual owner itself a few times as well. Theres no where to park your car and it smells like death in the lobby. Please stay far, far away from this place. 1400 is not worth the anxiety of sleeping with roaches.

I rented at the Milias apartments for two years and I have to say it was noting but horrible . Cockroach all throughout the apartments even after hours of cleaning every day. The smells of the building is discussing . The apartment manager Bernie uses cuss word and acts unprofessional . He's never returned my call's unless I keep calling him . After leaving the apartment completely clean he kept my security deposit . Also after expressing my feelings about this place to Bernie he replays " If You Don't Like It Move Out Then " So if you like living with cockroaches & having your power & water turned off every month due to bullshit & having no where to park your car & dealing w/ old people smoking cigarettes indoors this place is for you .
