"This informative museum manages to pack a surprising amount into a small space. Focusing on the period following the declaration of an independent Finland, exhibits include tanks, guns, uniforms and memorabilia." - The MICHELIN Guide Nordic Editorial Team
The main building is great collection of military equipment and good vehicles and stories. With the same ticket you will get access to a second building, where the only attraction was the clothing’s which you can try. The third is the submarine, therefore I recommend to visit first the museum while the submarine is quite a walk away.

We were really impressed by the Military Museum. There was a lot of interesting information to read, a lot to see, and some fun interactive exhibits as well. It's great value for money too! We spent a good 2.5 hours there, and we paid under €10 per person. For how much is there, it's a great price.

Small in size, but very neatly organized collection of Finnish (and other) military equipment. Ticket allows to visit a submarine that is in close proximity as well as a second part of the collection in nearby building that, includes Saab F35 simulator used in the past for pilot training.

A very interesting museum. The museum essentially covers the Finnish Civil War, the Winter War, as well as the Continuation War - very briefly it also mentions the Lapland War. All very interesting but I just wish there was more! You can also visit the submarine with the same ticket so 100% recommend!

Really enjoyed learning about the history of Finland.
We never think much of it, but their encirclement techniques are a testament to that.
Beautiful museum!

You can get in here with the same ticket you use to access the U-Boat. Its a great little museum with English, Finnish and Russian language on most of the plaques. Unfortunately I only had about half an hour here but I could have easily spent 2 hours reading everything!
