Small little coffee shop. Limited seating but decent turnover so could find a spot. Variety of plants for sale as well, great prices for them. Food and drink was just OK, nothing to go out of your way for, but if you are in the area worth a stop.

Lost of options for organic and better quality foods. Good options for breakfast and lunch. They just never answer the phone when I attempt to order and pick up. That's my only complaint. Pictured is a egg and cheese croissants with vegan sausage. That's my personal go to.

Overall-- Poor service. But nice selection, solid coffee, and decent food. Pros--Milk and Honey has plenty of seating. I can spend a whole day working here. Their coffee is La Colombe and its brewed well. They're Café Miel espresso drink is delicious with notes of honey and cinnamon, but thankfully not too sweet. I really enjoy their fresh smoothies and their sandwiches are decent but never something I find myself craving. The have a wide selection of food items, with both healthy and more indulgent options. Cons--The service at Milk and Honey rubs me the wrong way. It always seems forced and not at all genuine. My first time here, I asked the woman at the register for her thoughts on 2 drinks I was debating between. She wasn't helpful and looked annoyed that I asked her a question. Another visit I complimented the woman at the register on her makeup since she seemed bored, but she did not at all seem to want to exchange any words with me than she was required to. While I have not had an overtly negative experience, the workers I have interacted with always seem to be tolerating our presence rather than trying to be helpful and kind.

I really wanted to like this place when I moved to the neighborhood. I struggled with whether to give them three or four stars, but my gut told me to go with three. Here's why they earned three stars: The sandwiches are quite tasty. The Jerr-bear and the Amanda are my favorites. They have tons of table space with quality tables and chairs and outlets - real rarity around here, for whatever reason. They have free WiFi! Here's why they didn't earn five stars: God damn the sandwiches take forever. They aren't that complicated. Lord help you if they are actually busy and you order a sandwich. The iced coffee is quite bitter and burnt. I can't drink it. Honestly the staff usually look a bit dirty and I'm concerned for the health aspect of my food. It's a nice spot to take your laptop and do some work, though.

I liked it. I went there to do some work over the span of a few hours. Had a nice mocha and was able to sit there in peace. The wifi was great as well and there were plenty of outlets. The bathroom was also clean. Overall, I'll definitely return!

I really love the neighborhood coffee shop feeling of milk and honey, it's food selection is nicely chosen and their smoothies are really great. I think the baristas are courteous and friendly contrary to some of the other reviews here. This is a busy shop and a busy intersection. Long lines can be common but that isn't because of employee ineptitude, it seems like whenever I am waiting in line the people in front of me are dickering around and being indecisive when it's their turn. Lots of people expect their hands to be held by folks in the service industry but it really doesn't take much to figure out what your going to have for breakfast... For god sakes there are twelve people behind you trying to get their usual so they can catch the trolley to work. Also I gotta say that I do really like the new seating! Yeah there are more seats so technically there is a little less personal space but come on, this isn't your house, this is a place of business. Just because you feel entitled to an entire four top so you can sit all day on your laptop playing office doesn't mean others shouldn't have a seat. I'm so grateful that on the weekends they don't have wifi until one pm because now my friends can actually sit together and have a little brekkie at our very own table... This is a busy coffee shop, and sometimes they run out of bagels or eggs when it's super busy... I actually kinda like that though because at least they aren't serving old stuff or frozen bagels like some coffee shops in the city. If you wanna sit all day in a coffee shop on the computer playing battleship or whatever they just added like ten thousand new outlets... This is a great shop that I really enjoy having in my neighborhood.

Now that the place is boarded up because of "safety concerns," maybe the current owners could actually try doing something useful for the community by selling both locations and make them Black-owned businesses. The quality of the food would probably improve and people would feel safer knowing that the customers do more than simply talk about justice and white privilege because it makes them feel good. Plain and simple, you people suck!

Every time I visit this place I wonder why I give it another chance. I once had a hair baked into my bagel. The staff is disinterested and often times rude. During one visit I saw who I assume is either the owner or manager of the establishment visibly stressed and hassling the employees in front of myself and other customers. The logic behind their latte sizes is ridiculous. Believe it or not, there is still the same number of espresso shots in a medium and a large. The large only has more milk. I actually laughed when the employees told me this. Never in my life have I ever heard of a coffee shop operating this way.
