Milk & Honey Southern Inspired Kitchen

This was our first time eating at Milk and Honey and it was amazing! The Salmon Hash was definitely our favorite, but a close 2nd was the Shrimp and Grits, Signature Steak and Gumbo! Truly, it was all amazing and our server, Dana, was fabulous! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Alexandria.

I got nothing bad to say about this place. Food: I got the Power Bowl. Mushrooms are meaty, greens flavorful and moist, cauliflower perfectly charred, and toast was on point. Service: fast and I was interrupting the staff- maybe 15 mins from in the door to plate on the table. Probably closer to 10. Staff: super friendly. Loved chatting with Jenna. She’s gonna do big things! The dude at the door greeted me immediately. Solid service! Side note: I did not need the hot sauce. Everything was perfectly seasoned. These people take pride in what they do!

Everything was delicious. The biscuits were buttery. The salmon chowder was delicious. I love the fried catfish and whiting with the grits. My friend had the fish sandwich delicious everything is yummy and delectable enjoy

Delicious comfort food served with friendly Southern hospitality. I had the Crispy Fish Sandwich ($19) with Tater Tots. Everything was so good. I walked upstairs so I wouldn't miss any of the interesting art. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

Where do I begin? I visited this location on 11/6. We had such a wonderful experience at this location. The location and the design were amazing. Loved seeing the multiple and unique art displayed. The food was amazing. Shoutout to them biscuits! I ordered the fish sandwich and when I say they nailed that seasoning and crispness!!!? Y’all did the darn thing! Our waitress was on point in hosting us. Thank you Ms. Jenna for a very pleasant and informative experience. You really bring out the best in people and you were very attentive. Thank you for the amazing experience. I will most certainly be back!

Excellent food excellent service and there is only one or two items that have pork so that’s perfect for us non pork eaters. Caleb provided incredible service. The fried green tomatoes were best I’ve ever eaten and chicken and biscuits were delicious. I had gumbo and it didn’t have much okra but did have plenty of seafood. Highly recommend this place and we’ll be back again.

If you want an amazing dining experience, EAT HERE! This was our first time eating here and hope we get to come back soon. Vibes were 100%. Food was even better! Dana was an amazing server. She sealed the deal for us. She treated us with so much warmth & hospitality. The General Manager/Owner Eric was great as well. We didn’t have a reservation, but we were greeted with smiles and sat quickly. For our first time in Alexandria, I’m glad we made this choice to dine here!
