Everything was delicious. The biscuits were buttery. The salmon chowder was delicious. I love the fried catfish and whiting with the grits. My friend had the fish sandwich delicious everything is yummy and delectable enjoy

Where do I begin? I visited this location on 11/6. We had such a wonderful experience at this location. The location and the design were amazing. Loved seeing the multiple and unique art displayed. The food was amazing. Shoutout to them biscuits! I ordered the fish sandwich and when I say they nailed that seasoning and crispness!!!? Y’all did the darn thing! Our waitress was on point in hosting us. Thank you Ms. Jenna for a very pleasant and informative experience. You really bring out the best in people and you were very attentive. Thank you for the amazing experience. I will most certainly be back!

Excellent food excellent service and there is only one or two items that have pork so that’s perfect for us non pork eaters. Caleb provided incredible service. The fried green tomatoes were best I’ve ever eaten and chicken and biscuits were delicious. I had gumbo and it didn’t have much okra but did have plenty of seafood. Highly recommend this place and we’ll be back again.

If you want an amazing dining experience, EAT HERE! This was our first time eating here and hope we get to come back soon. Vibes were 100%. Food was even better! Dana was an amazing server. She sealed the deal for us. She treated us with so much warmth & hospitality. The General Manager/Owner Eric was great as well. We didn’t have a reservation, but we were greeted with smiles and sat quickly. For our first time in Alexandria, I’m glad we made this choice to dine here!

Visited one week after opening in Old Town Alexandria. Easy to make reservations online with OpenTable and we wear promptly seated upon arrival. Our server was prompt and provided good recommendations regarding the menu - checked on us regularly. The food service was prompt - the yogurt appetizer was so good and creamy - I asked for only strawberries with it but it comes with seasonal berries. The chicken sandwich was dry and the fries as shown in the photo were flat and cold. Upon receiving the bill there was an issue with the restaurant’s system and I was charged several times however the manager was able to resolve, greeted me and provided a gift card for future use at the restaurant. I really appreciated the customer service. $$ There is a paid street parking nearby Smaller restaurant so reservations recommended during busy times

Delicious comfort food served with friendly Southern hospitality. I had the Crispy Fish Sandwich ($19) with Tater Tots. Everything was so good. I walked upstairs so I wouldn't miss any of the interesting art. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

I really enjoyed Milk & Honey. The ambiance is family-oriented and fun, with big 4K monitors playing the football games, which made the vibe even better. The service was elite, attentive and absolutely tip-worthy. The food portions are ridiculous in the best way, so come hungry or plan to share. Everything we tried was high quality: the cookie crumble on the waffles, pancakes, and chicken & waffles were all outstanding. Pro tip: if you don’t know what to start with, grab a side of the mac & cheese. It’s not listed as an appetizer, but it’s elite level and went fast at our table. Drinks are also a highlight, they’re not only delicious, but some even come with a little performance depending on what you order. Prices are reasonable overall, though adding drinks can push it up a bit. The crowd was chill, and I’d 100% come back again whenever I’m in DC or Virginia.

I had a great experience at Milk & Honey! Our server Caleb was incredibly professional, attentive, and friendly from the moment we sat down. They made us feel welcome and checked on us just the right amount — not too much, not too little. They gave great menu suggestions and made sure our food and drinks came out exactly how we wanted. It’s always refreshing to be served by someone who clearly enjoys what they do and genuinely cares about the guest experience. Big thanks for making our visit smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
