"“Boy, that's a really good restaurant. They mix their foods up, too. So they can do a traditional omelet with the regular American cheese or cheddar cheese, but they can also add different types of cheese in it as well. And they have this pancake that was 12 inches. It was like eating a record, it was that big. I have 11-year-old twin daughters, and they absolutely love going back there because they get a kick out of that great big pancake. It's a family atmosphere. And they’re Black-owned. We have a great time there.”" - tristiana hinton

I stopped by Milk and Honey in Bowie on a rainy Friday evening, and I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. Shoutout to the manager Patrick who was at the bar, he made me an amazing drink that hit the spot! I went with the catfish sandwich and wow… it was so good. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and just the comfort food I needed after a long week. I’ll definitely be coming back with the girls for happy hour, this spot is a vibe. Highly recommend!

Pedro our waiter was really friendly the moment we sat at our table. We sat outside because it was a nice day to eat outdoors. We ordered our food and food was AMAZING !!! I ordered the award winning shrimp and Grits! The portions are generous and highly recommend this place to eat! * It was worth my drive to come all the way from Virgina to come try this place with my friend.

First time here and celebrating two birthdays. The fish and grits were amazing and the deviled eggs could have been a main dish on its on. Very flavorful. I will definitely be back for those breaded deviled eggs. Santiago was very kind and attentive to our table.

I’ve been here a few times now and this place is pretty consistent. This is my first review. I love breakfast/brunch and this place never misses!!! I’ve tried the shrimp and grits, Biscoff waffles and chicken, and the French toast. Everything was so good! This past visit, I had the pleasure of having Kay as my server. She greeted me immediately, was friendly, a bubbly personality, and she was on point with her recommendation.

Our server Kay was a delight. She was personable, friendly, and attentive to our table. The food was absolutely Amazing😋 I had the lavender and peach mimosas, deviled eggs, a side of pancakes, steak and eggs, and then delicious butter biscuits!! Hands down Great service all over. Thank you!

Google
We went to Milk and Honey after attending the MS Walk, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Our Server was Kay and she was absolutely amazing and attentive! I had the "Tail of two fish" which was great! If you ate ever in the area, please stop for a incredible brunch!

I’ve been trying to make my here for a while and I finally made it today. Busy Sunday crowd but I was quickly greeted, had a seat at the bar and the bartender was amazing - kindest personality, made a great drink, and just overall welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my berry French toast too! Challah bread was on point and it was so flavorful, I didn’t even add the syrup. As busy as they were, the food came out quickly, hot and with beautiful presentation! I can’t wait to go back and try other options.

This. Place. Is. IT!!!! We walked in on a Sunday morning for brunch, and this beautiful spot was just buzzing with fun, positive energy! I got the low country gumbo which changed my life - the FLAVOR!! I had a honey apple soda that was so unique and delicious. Erika the manager was incredible - so fun, bubbly, and welcoming. Our server Kay was phenomenal - everything and everyone was just excellent. It’s our new go-to for Sunday brunch!

Yelp
MJ was amazing! She's always very helpful and she knows how to make a drink!! Come see her at the bar and get better acquainted with their new menu.

Yelp
The service wasn't bad. However they moved fairly slowly. My friends and I went around 3pm on Sunday. We were seated pretty fast, but our waitress took sometime to help us. She was friendly though. The food varied. I loved the wings. I would get them again. I enjoyed the green goddess sauce it paired well with the wings. My friend wasn't a fan of the salmon dish. They said it was salty. My other friend loved the smothered chicken. He said it was good amount of food. We also had the fried devil eggs and side of biscuits (not featured). These items were both pretty good. I loved the biscuits they were flavorful, hearty, and moist.

Yelp
Truly disappointed by our experience here. We came today for my friend's birthday and it definitely ruined her morning. I don't normally leave reviews but this was necessary. 1. We had to wait 1 hour to be seated when there were plenty of empty tables in house. Not a huge issue though, I get it, it's New Years and maybe short staffed.. but it only got worse. 2. It took 45 minutes for 3 mimosas! Other tables who came after us got their drinks and food before us. I'm sorry, but it should not take that long to pour a splash of juice and champagne. We asked our server multiple times and she just kept saying "the bartender is making it now" even though we could see the bartender and she was not. 3. It took our food about 1 hour to come out and the birthday girl still hadn't gotten her food! She got her plate after 1 hour and 20 mins of waiting and had to watch everyone else eat, and all she ordered was shrimp and grits. 4. My chicken sandwich came out COLD! Not warm or room temperature, straight cold. Even after waiting 1 hour. Had to send it back and they still messed it up and forgot part of the order. 5. The service was plain terrible. Our server rarely checked on us and was nowhere to be seen. Bottom story, we will not be returning nor will we be recommending to anyone. This place needs some new management ASAP!

Yelp
This was pretty good! Open parking, great service overall (few hiccups) , and quality food. Went here with fam and we started with honey butter biscuits followed by salads and our entrees. I had the catfish and grits and the fish was really fresh and fried to perfection. I sampled my family's shrimp and crab and those also tasted fresh. The grits weren't overly exciting but still tasted good. I definitely recommend all 3! The vibe was good with good music. Jasmine was our waitress and has a bomb personality. She was patient with all the first timer questions and very cheerful. Very cheerful!

Yelp
A neighborhood gem for all soul food connoisseurs. This location is conveniently located in the shopping center adjacent to Safeway. The waitress was polite and friendly. I ordered the French Toast, Honey butter Biscuits and Salmon Hash. The butter for the biscuits was similar to Texas Roadhouse butter but made with more homemade love, peace, and joy! The Berry french toast-vanilla infused challah bread, turkey bacon, and salmon hash were also delicious and filling. Treat yourself!

Thulisile N.

Yelp
Food was served hot and tasty. Service is great, we came during the week around 12p shortly after opening. Wait staff was attentive. Love the location in Fairwood Shopping Center. Also check out the outdoor experience in the warmer months, you can always request to sit outside to catch some rays

Jeanine K.

Yelp
Food....amazing......service, even better! Great atmosphere. Fish and grits......top tier!!

Dee D.

Yelp
We stopped by after a show. The staff seated us promptly and it took a while for a server to come over although there were very few people there to fine. The food wasn't hot and all seemed too precooked and reheated. I have had hot delicious food at the college park location.

Rebecca C.

Yelp
5.14.24 Ordered a club soda and bitters, the bartender was able to get one dash out then the bottle was done. No bitters in house (also takes away certain cocktail availability). Started with the "crab spring rolls". LOL foul for even putting that on the menu. More so egg rolls, and literally just unseasoned crab meat. Very pasty. Catfish and grits always a winner. Definitely no cheese in the grits but at this point I was way too hungry to wait longer. Server (with red braids) very kind in her service and understood without me having to say much.

Joice A.

Yelp
I really liked the food. The biscoff waffles were really good! Not too sweet but so good, I'm not a waffles n chicken girl so I was scared but it didn't disappoint. The place was so beautiful as well as the service that the manager and our waiter gave us.

Jacob F.

Yelp
Although it was packed (Saturday brunch), we were sat in around 12 minutes (estimated 20-30 min) We were a party of 2 sat at a 2seater high table. Wasn't too loud from other than parties, and the music selection was good. Our server was nice & had a fantastic personality. She made great recommendations for food and non alcoholic drinks. My friend got a refresher that tasted like apple juice with ginger ale. It was really good. 10/10. I got a sweet tea. Classic- free refills too. 10/10 To start, we had the honey butter biscuits. It comes with 2 and it was very good. Wish it came with more of that glaze on the side. So good . 10/10 Cheesy hash was a larger serving than expected. Cooked well. Piping hot. Cheese decently distributed. 10/10. They have hot sauce available on the side. My friend was surprised because the salmon in her salmon & grits seemed small, but she ended up getting full & said it was good. My French toast was good. The French toast could've been crispier, but it was really good. 9/10

Kell M.

Yelp
This was even better than expected! Service was friendly, the mimosa was delicious and the food was great too. I ordered the chicken and waffles; for the wings I opted for hot honey which were so good but the star of the show was the bourbon caramel sauce. The sweet potato waffles were also yummy and the perfect size. Would absolutely go back again!

Yelp
Great service from the time we got there to the time we left! My friend and and I came in on a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't super busy, thank goodness! We were greeted with a huge smile/welcome from Avian as we walked in. Avian asked if we wanted to be seated in the dining area, but we then decided to sit at the bar. Avian smiled and escorted us to the bar :) We were immediately greeted by Chrissy who was super friendly and attentive as well! We both ordered coffee - I had a shot of Bailey's - with hazelnut creamer. I ordered the egg and cheese sandwich with bacon that was DELICIOUS! My girlfriend ordered the fried chicken and sweet potato waffles, which she devoured!! I give this experience a full 5 stars for the amazing service and DELICIOUS food!

Tonyia R.

Yelp
Came out for a quick drink and breakfast on a Sunday morning. Sat at the bar for quick service and a chance to SEE the tequila selection. There was a list and a line, but a couple got up just in time for us to sit. Ordered the crab hash with grits on the side. And...Ma'am & Sir's... it was exactly what I needed. The hash was covered in lump crab meat, smothered in cheese and COMPLETELY hit the spot with just the right amount of crunch around the edges. My drink was nice and strong and the customer service was just right.

Yelp
****DISCLAIMER: I DID NOT EAT HERE**** Came here today 08/12/24 for lunch with my sister at 1:25pm. We were in the area and figured we could grab some lunch after an appt. The restaurant itself had maybe 15ppl inside. I counted 2 waitresses and maybe 3 other team members (there were 2 team members sitting around the bar area I believe). We were seated right away with our menus and never were waited on. We sat from 1:25 to around 1:40-1:45pm with not so much as a glance. We watched one waitress walk through the main dining hall at least 3x and we saw another waitress wait on the table next to us but we never heard from anyone. Not even as much as "your waitress will be with you shortly" or drinks while we waited. Needless to say my sister and I ended up leaving as we do not enjoy spending money at establishments that don't want it. I don't like to make it a point to post negative reviews as I understand things happen all the time, however this is unacceptable and I wont return to this location.

Jerelyne T.

Yelp
If I could rate this review based on the customer service I received at the door they would be getting a 4 however, I came here for food that was not satisfactory. Although, by first glance the food looks appetizing; However, when you go the wings they were greasy and still filled with grease inside.... Like dripping from grease Tried to eat the waffles but they were super gummy... waffles are not supposed to be gummy. I squeeze my waffle and it stick together type of gummy Yeah for $24.38 it was not worth it that price at all. I do understand their bills have to get paid and the amount of food giving is pretty decent, but I can make all of this for $5. However, I digress because people are worth their time and experience as long as the food is satisfactory Go to college park location they are the best in the area. They haven't disappointed me since they opened they many years ago now.

Candace B.

Yelp
I have no complaints when it comes to this place. The food and service was excellent. It's a nice welcoming feeling when you come here. All of our food was brought out hot and the waitress kept offering different options for things that could be substituted. We will be back for sure.

James H.

Yelp
The best chicken and waffles I've ever had. I will be back. They actually offer chicken wings which I feel is the only way to do chicken and waffles.

Vanity H.

Yelp
Kay was the BEST waitress I've had. Hospitality to the core - she should be a manager! Anyway, food was AMAZING. Fresh and everything I imagined. Highly suggest coming here and trying them out if you haven't already. The music they played was also what made the vibes nice. Overall great place!

Chrystal G.

Yelp
Milk & Honey is one of my favorite places to visit whenever I'm in Maryland. During this visit, we started with the Crispy Jumbo Shrimp, which was absolutely delicious and well worth the choice. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp, and the potato chips were a hit. My friend ordered her favorite, the Catfish & Grits, which she found as flavorful as ever. I had the Cajun Caesar Salad with Blackened Salmon and Cajun cream sauce on the side - it was outstanding and very satisfying. Honestly, I believe anything you choose from the menu will be a great choice. The food is perfectly seasoned, served in generous portions, and the service was exceptional. We experienced a family emergency while dining, and Kay handled the situation with such kindness and care, making the experience even more memorable.

Keonna F.

Yelp
The manager Erika was absolutely amazing!! very involved all smiling faces and excelente service!! i had the catfish bites and the award winning shrimp and grits it was fantastic.

Audrey S.

Yelp
I had never been here but I've always heard good things. I was excited to stop in for a late breakfast after a nearby appointment. The restaurant was clean. The hostess greeted and seated me immediately. Service was prompt, didn't wait long for food at all. My meal was underwhelming. The chicken tenders were over cooked and coated in a Cajun cream that lacked flavor- I added hot sauce, salt and pepper. The menu describes the eggs as cheesy but they were almost too cheesy. Like, more cheese than egg and the cheese wasn't equally distributed throughout the eggs. The biscuits were thick and fluffy and were the best part of the meal. I'm sure I will visit again and I already know what I'll order- the sweet potato waffle!

Jasmen Y.

Yelp
I had the smothered biscuits and catfish bites. Very nice cook on both and good portion sizes for the cost. I recommend if you want a nice atmosphere, good music, and good food.

Jon J.

Yelp
yum, went to the one on the water and then this one for brunch and both great! The brunch was amazing and tasted great!

Marvin C.

Yelp
Jasmine was the best server/host! She was quick to act when our server was slow to serve. Would definitely ask for her next time!!

Dana P.

Yelp
This place is super cute and the service was great. All of the staff were so friendly. I was here with my dad for lunch and we both ordered the shrimp po boy. The shrimp was very crispy and well seasoned, the vegetables were crisp, the sauce was delicious and the bread was seasoned and crispy. This was huge and delicious. The tater tots were crispy, but could stand to have a little more seasoning. It would be great to offer a side of the sauce on the po boy, because that would make the tots more interesting.

Michelle Y.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner with family to celebrate a birthday. Spacious, well decorated dining area. Pleasant and attentive staff. I lean more to vegetarian dining options, so I found the menu choices here didn't suffice my desires. Others in the party enjoyed the catfish dinner, gumbo, hush puppies, fried shrimp. All were plated well and served with care.

Qeeva J.

Yelp
Heard a lot of great things about this place took me a while to actually visit one of their locations. Sad to say that I'm not too impressed. The fish was fried perfectly however they missed the mark with the grits. Another Customer sitting next to me, said the same thing. However, that peach sweet tea was a hit!

Angela E.

Yelp
It's My Birthday! So I went out for a late lunch with my Daughter and Grandson. We went around 1 pm in the afternoon and the restaurant was not crowded so our hostess seated us right away. The restaurant is moderate sized with open seating. It is located at the end of a line of stores so they also have outside seating available which would be nice on a sunny day. I ordered coffee(I mean when is it not a good time for coffee ), Chicken and Sweet Potato Waffles and a side of Cheesy Grits. My Daughter ordered the Crab Hash and Fried Green Tomatoes. The restaurant also has a full bar but I did not partake as I was the designated driver(Yep. On my Birthday) for precious cargo. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. The food came out quickly. I am a grits connoisseur so they better be right!(And they were). The Cheesy Grits were smooth, creamy and delicious with just the right amount of seasoning. The Sweet Potato Waffles were fluffy, soft and delicious. The chicken was fried to perfection but could have used just a tad bit more seasoning( I love seasoning and I cannot lie!) The portions were large enough that we both ended up taking home a goodie bag for later. The Fried Green tomatoes were delicious and well-seasoned patties. The crab hash was good as well. My Daughter thought the crab hash did not have enough seasoning but she just tasted the crab. When I ate the crab as incorporated with the hash(if that makes sense), it was seasoned just right. It was a nice meal for a Queen's birthday.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Food was salted perfectly, fresh spices and ingredients that made the dishes wonderful! I highly recommend this place!

Victoria S.

Yelp
Not a bad breakfast at Milk and Honey's Bowie location. The waitresses were very attentive and seated us immediately. My favorite was the sweet potato waffles omg. The grits with chives tasted off (couldn't reheat). Decent music and the area is spacious. Overall was an ok experience.

Devon K.

Yelp
So we've and a milk and honey before and we've had a pretty similar experience with the service- so I'll comment on it at this point! The servers forget about you until you make a small fuss and then they start doing the bare minimum. Our servers are never rude, but they definitely do the bare minimum to ensure that you get your food. It was supposed to be a quick lunch trip, but it ended up being a very long lunch excursion: great conversation between friends though. However, with that being said, the food is always delicious so the chefs are doing something right. I would say you could check them out, but just make sure you have a lot of time to spare and you're not looking for a very attentive server. We went with a group for lunch and I had the Cajun shrimp pasta, babe, got the jumbo smothered chicken and biscuits, two members of the group got catfish and grits. One person, got the field green salad with a side of salmon and one person got the chicken and waffles. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their dish... I know I enjoyed mine! But it would've been nice to have hot coffee and refills and to reduce the extremely long wait times in between our order, drinks, and food. The ambience was nice. Well, it very spacious. Our table had a nice spacious area to just talk and relax without anyone being in the conversation. However, I did see two other tables that were pretty upset about the long wait times also. One girl actually went up to the bar and said where's my drink and the bartender made it in front of her And she brought it to the table herself. So just keep that in mind when you go- don't expect much service wise but as far as food they are on point.

Dominique T.

Yelp
Ok if this score was just based on the taste of my food it would've been 5 STARS!! I had the sweet potato waffles and y'all listen, listen, listen. That brown butter sauce smacked. They need to bottle it. My wings were fried to perfection and the sauce, baby was perfect. Our server Angel was cute and sweet and attentive, the space was clean and spacious and decorated simplistically, kind of an urban farm house. Lol. Now!! Here is why it's not five stars. We went on a weekday morning at 10 AM. We order our drinks first and we are told there's no apple honey soda, okay so we pivot, let's get alcohol... we order one of the peach mules... they were out of peach syrup... so we try one last time and ordered something with juice and were told they were out of all juice except a cranberry Like juice. So, at this point we just ask what they do have and ordered ginger ale and a fruit punch and the fruit punch wasn't good either. Overall, I would recommend the chicken and waffles 10/10, but I'd probably just order it to go.

Denice R.

Yelp
First time here was on a Saturday, and the music was JAMMING! Our entire table thoroughly enjoyed flashing back. We asked if someone created the playlist and they said it was the Mary J. Blige station on Pandora. But, you're coming here to eat, not dance. During my first visit (I went back two days later), the table ordered the honey biscuits, deep fried salmon hash, RumChata french toast, and the fried catfish and grits. This was my first time having fried salmon, and it was divine! It wasn't overcooked and the hash was a nice compliment. The catfish was catfish (if you know, you know). I've had better grits though. But the best part of the meal were those biscuits (at least the first time around). They were fresh out the oven hot and just melted in your mouth. Initially, we all were going to order margaritas, but we wanted to swap out the Jose Cuervo with another tequila (cause we grown, grown). When the server informed us it would be an additional $18, we all passed and went with the peach mule. It is never that deep. When I went back on Monday, the food experience was totally different. This time, I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, honey hot chicken wings and the biscuits. The eggs were way overcooked both times (cause I sent them back), the wings needed to be fried about 3 minutes longer and sauced more, and the biscuits were not fresh. Would I recommend this spot? Absolutely, but the food just needs to be consistent.

Shay P.

Yelp
Beware if you order from this restaurant via delivery such as ubereats or DoorDash. They do not seal the containers with stickers or anything to prevent contamination, theft, or tampering. Nor do they staple the bags shut like almost all other restaurants do when sending for delivery. I ordered a catfish sandwich which arrived in a basic plastic container with tater tots that the driver (or the other person they had in their car when they dropped it off) could have easily opened the container and skimmed off. And it was left on my porch wide open. I would try again if I drive there in person, but not going out of my way. Won't be ordering delivery from them again id be afraid of eating tampered or contaminated food.

Ashley P.

Yelp
As soon as I walked through the door Aveen greeted me so pleasant. His energy made me really excited to be in this establish. Although he wasn't our server I still had a very good experience. Aveen was a gem though and he made the overall experience at Milk and Honey a great one. The food was amazing. I did unfortunately forget our server's name but she also was very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu!

Kia S.

Yelp
I frequent Milk & Honey Inspired Kitchen (Bowie) quite often. We were celebrating my Best Friend's Birthday today. Our Waitress, Kay was wonderful and our lovely Hostess, Karen was a Joy! We truly enjoyed our dining experience. 5 Stars across every category. Exceptional!

JuJu B.

Yelp
My friend and I went here for brunch on a Saturday around 1pm. We were able to be seated outside right away. The food and service were good. Our servers Jamal and Jamel were nice and attentive. I got the lavender lemonade which I really liked. I also enjoyed the salmon BLT. My friend got the chicken wings and said the flavor was really good (they were cooked hard). I would give 5 stars but they need to clean the patio area more frequently. The tables were clean but there was trash and food on the ground around the tables and under some of the chairs.

Kyrsten S.

Yelp
We came here for a birthday and it was delicious. The place just opened and was clean and well lit. The server was very nice and knowledgeable. The food was very good too. The honey glazed biscuits were nice and fluffy. The salmon for the salmon and grits went cooked to our liking. The hot honey wings were bomb, everyone left wishing they had gotten the chicken. The sweet potato waffle was very good and different. But it wasn't a strong sweet potato flavor. It was very good. E asked the others if they would come back, the answer was yes!

Tracie W.

Yelp
As I reminisce of my Sunday brunch, I can't help but to smile. Let me hit you with a highlight, THERE ARE NO MICROWAVES IN THE RESTAURANT!!! We'll circle back to that. Usually, this place is so crowded that there's no point in going without a reservation but the stars aligned and my friend and I were able to be seated within 30mins of arrival. Now, this may not sound impressive but it's was miracle. Trust! It's our first time there. The restaurant decor is warm, welcome, and most importantly clean. Every single wait staff that we encountered was just as warm and welcoming. We started with the popular appetizer of Strawberry and Biscuits. As I type, my mouth waters. Yes, they are that good and not overly sweet. The vanilla glaze ties with the buttery biscuits beautifully yet allows the strawberry to have it's voice on the plate. I love a good cocktail. So, we had the Peach Mimosa which had me doing my own little sing-a-long to the fabulous selection of R&B classics overhead. I probably would have gotten another if I wasn't driving. Next, we both had their popular Shrimp and Grits and added a lobster tail. Whew chile, southern comfort at it's best! Now, when my plate came out it was just luke warm. I like my food pretty hot and just asked if they would place it in the microwave. This is when I was told they don't do microwaves. No fuss, we'll make it over. I told them no need, it will be fine. The manager didn't leave it alone, she went further and said "What can we do?" And suggested bring out hot sauce and grits that will warm my overall dish to blend. It was perfect and so impressive!!!! Make your reservations and go. Just know, the larger the party and longer the wait but that's anywhere. My knife and fork up to you M & H!!! I'll be back!

Jus B.

Yelp
Every time I'm in the Woodmore area, I have to stop and get the breakfast sandwich. Those biscuits melts in your mouth!!! The service is always courteous and accommodating. It was a little cold so I didn't dine in, but if it wasn't I would have sat right there and ate.

Charmagne B.

Yelp
Had an amazing time and experience. Great ambiance and the food tasted great! Sam was our waiter and his service was remarkable!!!! Thank you Sam!!!

Yelp
Milk and Honey in Bowie is great. Ordering on online, over the phone, or in person is a breeze. The restaurant is nice and it's always packed, so make sure you get there early or try going during a non-peak hour. The restaurant has cute decor and a lively ambiance. Some of my favorite things to have are: The fried catfish The Chicken and waffles (ask for the hot honey on the side for the chicken) The fried Salmon The honey butter biscuits The deep fried strawberry shortcake biscuits. Enjoy

Yelp
So it's been at least a year since I've eaten inside this location but I'm glad I did today. The customer service and wait staff were all excellent: friendly, attentive and overall delightful. The establishment was one of the cleanest restaurants I've been in the past year. It's warm and inviting and the tables aren't sitting on top of each other. Another plus. Now for the food. I had the fried green tomatoes, while flavorful, the tomatoes were sliced too thinly for my liking. The blacked salmon over grits was EXCELLENT! There was tons of flavor on the think cut of salmon, and it was cooked well-done, yet it was still moist. True perfection! My beverage was a refreshing half sweet tea & lemonade combo. But the dessert was my favorite part of the meal. I couldn't decide so I got the chocolate cake and the strawberry biscuits. My, My, My! I've been looking for a standout chocolate cake and I just found it! The five layer chocolate cake is AMAZING! It's moist and rich with deep dark chocolate all without being too sweet. The strawberry biscuits surprised me because the dish wasn't overly sweet. The biscuits were fresh, fluffy, moist goodness! I'm a happy camper and plan to visit again soon. Great experience!

Yelp
Maybe she was the manager, I'm not sure what she is, but her customer service was great. We also received great customer service from our server, Danielle. I ordered the hot honey chicken wings and the shrimp and grits. The chicken was delicious. The shrimp & Grits was "ok". The restaurant was clean and popping.

Yelp
I'd been wanting to try this restaurant and came here for Sunday brunch with a friend. Unfortunately they do not take reservations and it's typically a two hour wait so we waited the two hours. The establishment seems to be popular and they play music here. I ordered the salmon hash per our waitress's recommendation. The dish was heavy and the salmon lackluster. I was honestly disappointed because I had high hopes for this place. I am definitely not opposed to trying other things on the menu but I'm definitely not willing to wait two hours the next time...TBD.

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars I would, I didn't even get to dine here. Always trying to support black owned businesses but how can you? I went my birthday weekend for brunch and I have always wanted to try this place since moving to MD. But when I walked in the wait time was 1 hour and 45 mins. I asked if I could sit outside because NO ONE was sitting outside. They have well over 20 seats! The gentleman said we are not sitting outside.. WHY?? It's a beautiful day and everyone waiting could be served!!! It's really sad how black owned businesses probably do not know the service their restaurants are providing. I will be contacting corporate!

Yelp
I'm only rating a 3 because my fiancé enjoyed the food. We did the call ahead waiting list and was sat as soon as we walked in, which is great. I had the shrimp and grits and had high hopes because in the picture it looks amazing right? It was so soupy and i was very disappointed. The flavor was actually good and had potential. Maybe i just got a bad batch, who knows. Our service took forever we had to ask for water twice and didn't receive it until close to when our food came, we asked for it as soon as we sat down. My fiancé enjoyed his food though! He got the chicken and biscuits. I also think this place is good for mimosas only... they got a tequila and orange juice wrong twice as well. This is interesting because when we order to go or from the express the food has been perfect. Maybe we will order to go next time.
