A short review won’t do this place justice. I can’t tell you how amazing everyone here is, even if I haven’t had an appointment with them. I’ve seen Nina, Morgan, and Michelle, and they are some of the best people I’ve ever met. Breastfeeding has been so hard for me and babe, but they have supported me along the way, hugged me while I cried (like every appointment), celebrated wins with me, helped me through mastitis, helped baby through a tongue tie release, and so much more. If you’re even thinking about making the appointment, just do it.

Milk and Honey is AMAZING!!! Beth took care of my third and fourth babies in the NICU and she supported me and encouraged me and believed in me. Beth was absolutely incredible. I really struggled in NICU with my fourth baby and Beth encouraged me to come to Milk and Honey upon discharge. I got set up with Nina at MH and she is phenomenal. She supported us on our journey and was such calming and reassuring presence. My fourth baby had a lot of health issues along the way and Nina always listened to me. He ended up in the hospital at 11 months and I was SO grateful that Beth was working. She helped us out and advocated for us. My sweet fourth baby just turned one last week and we are going strong on a year of nursing. Beth and Nina played a huge role in our success.

I wish every mom/baby caregiver could have a Morgan. She is absolutely phenomenal; knowledgeable, professional, approachable, kind, realistic, calm. Morgan has given me so much confidence in my new role and has empowered me with tools that will continue to serve. She is an absolute powerhouse of a resource; please give yourself the gift of having Morgan join you on this journey.

There are literally not enough words to describe how much I appreciate this business and its providers. Milk & Honey was a huge reason why I was successful in my breastfeeding journey. If not for their providers help, I would have given up long ago. They also helped me understand basic techniques to soothe my son & could make recommendations on other knowledgeable providers if we needed it. I am eternally grateful for their guidance as I became a new mother! I wouldn't have survived those early days of motherhood without them.

Google
Milk & Honey is the best postpartum support center. They are so holistic in their approach and have so many specialists in-house to get you and your baby the care you need and as well as an entire network they can refer you to. I am so grateful for their expertise and the work they do in our community. Nina helped me feed my babies in a way that aligned with my values and that meant the world to me.

Milk and honey‘s lactation consultants are amazing. My daughter is 2 months now and they have helped us through our entire breastfeeding journey so far. We needed help with my daughters latch when she was a couple weeks old and now they’ve helped with my transition back to work and pumping. I highly recommend seeing Ash Osborne! She covers everything thoroughly, is so easy to talk to and really cares about her clients. She is incredible!!

Receiving breastfeeding support at Milk and Honey empowered me to meet my breastfeeding goals and feel confident in my ability to give my son the nutrition and comfort he needs. After a preterm birth, a c-section, a tongue tie, counterproductive lactation advice at the hospital, painful latch, nipple shields, and clogged ducts , I was having an extremely tough time breastfeeding. Crissi's gentle guidance, encouragement, expertise, and genuine care for moms and babies was exactly what I needed. Now, my son is 4 months old and is nursing like a champ! Their free support group on Fridays and play groups for babies each week have also helped me connect with other moms that have supported me long after my 1 on 1 lactation consultations have ended. I have tremendous appreciation and love for the inclusive community Milk and Honey is creating. Getting support at M&H is one of the best decisions I've made as a mother.

Google
Milk and Honey has helped to greatly improve my breastfeeding experience with my baby! The Friday support group on Instagram has been very helpful, and our one-on-one sessions with Claire were invaluable! I highly recommend Milk and Honey to anyone who is seeking support with breastfeeding. They are wonderful!

Yelp
As a first time mom navigating breastfeeding and my daughter having a difficult time latching, I was excited to get some aid and guidance in our breastfeeding journey. However, my experience at milk and honey was not great. We saw ceit blue, she had unrealistic expectations and basically shamed me for supplementing with formula. She kept pushing breast milk banks and wanted me to bring my less than a week old daughter to a myofascial specialist. Not offering better techniques or exercises for us to try at home first. She also immediately went to selling us different nipple sizes for bottles which my daughter made a noise as if she was not latching well on, but still recommended to buy it. Almost $500 later, I was left feeling even more lost and back to square 1. Would recommend barrio babies Angelica is amazing and actually listens to your concerns and HELPS you and provides exercises if needed.

Yelp
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Simply the best! I'm so grateful this resource exists in the Tucson community for lactation and postpartum support. Milk and honey played a pivotal role in my breastfeeding journey. Milette, is always so pleasant to talk to on the phone and upon arriving. I worked with Sarah and Rodin and both providers genuinely cared, were positive and never made me feel rushed. I love that they can utilize ultrasound as a strategy to help with clogs/mastitis. They also write you a plan which is helpful when you have "Mom brain" to remember what you discussed. I was able to meet with them virtually for one session which was convenient! They provide support for any stage of your journey and even helped me wean when I was ready. Motherhood truly takes a village and I look forward to working with them more in the future!!!

Yelp
I was struggling with low milk supply, poor latch from a tongue tie, and having to supplement with formula. Nina helped me turn everything around, and within 6 weeks I went from using mostly formula to breastfeeding my baby exclusively! All of the staff are welcoming, and we love attending their playgroup on Tuesday and their support group on Friday. Milk & Honey changed my entire breastfeeding journey for the BETTER and I could not be happier with my experience!!

Kameha S.

Yelp
The staff at milk and honey really helped me survive the first couple weeks of motherhood. Morgan was especially supportive and knowledgeable. She helped me reframe some negative self talk and provided a safe place to work on breastfeeding with my first baby.

Yelp
I can't say enough positive things about Milk and Honey. Their postpartum and lactation support made a huge difference for me, as a first time mom eager to successfully nurse our newborn. I think it's safe to say that most moms struggle with breastfeeding in the beginning. It's new for mom and new for baby! Without their positivity and support I'm not sure I would have made it through the first month. We went twice a week for a while then gradually decreased our visits. Each time I felt supported and empowered. Christina was our lactation consultant and we highly recommend her. She typed up notes for us and came up with a customized plan after each session. She was also accessible via text which nice whenever we had questions. Unfortunately, our insurance didn't cover the sessions, but they do accept insurance! They also have a meet up every Friday that's free. It's books up fast. I have not attended one, but it sounds like a nice opportunity to meet other new moms and get further support on your breastfeeding journey.

Yelp
I've had the pleasure of working with Ceit and she is truly amazing. She is supportive and validating in her approach to the point where you feel like you're in your second home. I've worked with several lactation consultants before coming to Milk and Honey as I just moved to Tucson. She is the person that finally helped me get to the point where I am now - feeling confident, happy, and at ease with breastfeeding my daughter. With all the conflicting information I had been getting I still wasn't sure I could truly give my daughter the milk she needed to thrive. She's now drinking milk like a champ and gaining weight. Ceit's kind and gentle nature allowed me to feel comfortable expressing my concerns, which helped dispel misinformation and get on track. She's a true gem. I also just went to the breastfeeding support group this week for the first time and it was great. It's empowering to be around so many strong women and their babies. This community is so important for breastfeeding mamas. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of it. If you're having breastfeeding concerns or just want to join a supportive community of breastfeeding mamas I highly recommend it.

Yelp
Great place for post partum support. There is a weekly group on fridays where you can meet other new moms and ask the two owners, Nina and Chrissy, breast feeding (or even some general baby questions). The Lactation services are also great. We have been seeing Claire who has been so positive and helpful along the way. Just make sure you call early as they are fairly full because the providers here are so great!

Yelp
These ladies are efficient and effective. They are so understanding and take things with your PACE and your goals. The free classes on Fridays are awesome. Goto it. Crissi is the bomb. She gives your hope, tips and encouragement to breastfeed.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about Milk and Honey. I saw Crissy when my daughter was born a few times and she is seriously amazing. I now come here Friday's for support group run by Crissy and Nina (who is also so amazing), Tuesday's for mom and baby yoga, and Wednesday's for play group. Milk and Honey is basically my home away from home and I love it!

Yelp
I am honestly not sure if I would have been able to continue breastfeeding without Nina's help. I had no idea that there was such a thing as a lactation consultant until I had a friend recommend Nina at Milk & Honey. She raved about her. I set up an appointment as soon as my daughter was born and I was especially thankful to have done so after finding out my daughter was born with a lip tie and posterior tongue tie. Starting the day after my daughter was born, breastfeeding caused searing pain that was unbearable. Nina was simply amazing and helped me with techniques to take the edge off of the pain until my daughter's tongue could be operated on. Nina took her time with us and while she was incredibly informative, her main focus was on what worked for my daughter and I. She helped with my daughter's latch and my positioning, weighed my daughter before and after feedings to see how much milk she was getting, and gave me a printout with everything we discussed in the meeting as well as recommendations for further reading and reminders for what to do in the future. We also discussed ideas for when and how to get my daughter to take a bottle of breastmilk as I returned to work. It doesn't end there, however. Just after meeting with Nina, I moved to another state. When I emailed Nina to give her an update (she asked me to keep her informed of our progress), she emailed me back several times with additional tips based upon the update!

Yelp
I saw Ceit over a 6 week period. She listened to my concerns and was reassuring and supportive. I had many issues to deal with that we worked through together. I don't think I would be as successful without her.

Yelp
Nina and Crissi are amazing lactation consultants. Milk & Honey is an experienced, knowledgeable, safe, relaxing and calm environment for moms to get all their breastfeeding questions answered and get help when struggling with issues. Having visited their support group many times as a postpartum RN, doula and certified lactation educator, I know that the families I send there for assistance will leave feeling better and more confident than they did when they arrived. Their support group is a wonderful place to make connections with other moms and great socialization for babies. As a breastfeeding educator who works with postpartum and breastfeeding moms, I love knowing there is fantastic place for breastfeeding support, education and community.

Yelp
Wow what an amazing place to go for support. Everyone here was so helpful and welcoming it was great! Chrissy was so helpful and gave me the kind of feedback I needed. She was one of the best people I met with for help. They contract with insurance which is great. They also have classes throughout the week. If you are having any issues or struggling with nursing definitely meet with the consultants here-- they are some of the best!

Yelp
This place is amazing. Without Crissi's help I would not be breastfeeding! My son had some serious nipple confusion so Crissi helped me get him back on the breast and helped with his latch issues and positioning and discovered his tongue tie. My pediatrician disagreed with her but I was able to convince the pediatrician to give me a referral anyway and after my son got his posterior tongue tie clipped he's been a breastfeeding maniac! He loves it! Crissi has helped me and my son out so much and I couldn't be more grateful! She always addressed every issue we had and gave us the best advice. There's also a support group run by her and Nina which is so helpful! I use to go more often but I just don't have the time anymore. I highly recommend this place to all new mothers who want to know how breastfeeding is going.

Yelp
I was referred to Milk and Honey by my daughter's pediatrician because I was having trouble breastfeeding. It was so painful I wanted to stop altogether. I was contacted immediately by the office and set up an appointment right away. After many weekly and sometimes twice weekly appointments, I went from only pumping - due to the pain - to exclusively breastfeeding, which was my goal from the beginning. Nina was absolutely my biggest cheerleader, and she helped me with my other random parenting questions also. She gave me tips to get better sleep and even helped me figure out my baby carrying technique. She genuinely cared about me and my daughter, and I can't say enough good things about the experience with her. If you're wondering whether you should try out this office, do it! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
I've been debating about writing this review but ultimately decided to take the time to warn other mothers. I have struggled with breastfeeding my daughter since she was born. A friend suggested Milk and Honey so I thought we'd try it despite the expense. The consultant we met with didn't even introduce herself (I think her name was Nina), and rushed us through our allotted appointment time. She kept saying how great of a latch my daughter has but never addressed what other things could potentially be causing issues. $150 and an hour later she basically told me to take some herbs. Google could have told me that for free. Nothing about our consultation felt personal and I would not recommend wasting your time or money. I read another Yelp review where the family was told their baby was tongue-tied. We were also told that. Maybe she earns commission on referrals. We ended up going to Mealtime Connections which has been wonderful (and affordable).
