We had a great brunch at Milk & Honey at The Wharf! My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, which included a flavorful fried chicken thigh and a delicious biscotti-style waffle. I had the Tale of Two Fish—whiting and catfish served with creamy grits—very satisfying and well-seasoned. We both had Arnold Palmers, and they were just right. We originally ordered the Old Bay Honey Wings as an appetizer, but they came out with the meal, so we decided to send them back. Overall, the food was tasty and the atmosphere lively—definitely worth a visit!

Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and excellent service. Our server Kevin was exceptionally helpful and suggested that I try the Peach Cobbler and it did Not Disappoint! Mmm…. We had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the manager, Nakia, who was most delightful and saw to it that we were well taken care of. Thank you for a memorable evening at Milk and Honey. Highly recommended.

I came here on a Wednesday night for a date. The service was excellent and the food was full of flavor. We started with the calamari, which was well-seasoned, and shared an Espresso Martini to kick off the evening. I had the Cajun shrimp and crab pasta—plenty of shrimp and nice flavor. The portion was a bit too big for me, though I could see how someone else might think it wasn’t quite enough. Overall, this place is solid with great service. I’ll definitely be back!

We were very excited to try this place with great reviews. The atmosphere was great when we came in, and our server was great at the start. Our food arrived with great presentation and was absolutely delicious. We had the steak, lambchops, and salmon BLT. We ordered desserts, and then everything went downhill. We waited well over 30 minutes before our server even checked on us to realize we still hadn't received our desserts. So then we had to wait for them to be made. Zero drink refills or checked on by our server during this 50 minutes, and the place was not busy and had plenty of staff. Then another 15 minute wait for the check. We were excited to come back for brunch because the menu looked great, but due to this experience, we passed. I am very disappointed in the service we received for the price we paid.

This was a nice place, quite busy, with a chill ambiance. There was an approximately 20-min wait for a table. However, my dinner companions and I found three seats at the bar and settled in. It took the bartender a bit to get to us, but she was busy, so we just talked amongst ourselves until it was time to place the order. They were out of the shrimp and grits, so I got the lamb chops, w/an order of honey Old Bay wings for an appetizer. The Caribbean lamb came out before the wings and one of my companions had to wait an extra 10-15 mins for his Cajun pasta. The lamb was overcooked and did not really have a "Caribbean" flavor. The biscuits were some of the most fluffy and softest I've had in a long time. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and hope to return again. Hopefully, then, I'll be able to try the "award-winning" shrimp and grits.

This was my birthday breakfast treat to myself. I came all the way from Stafford, VA, only to be totally let down and disappointed. I’m giving it 3 stars because the bathrooms weren’t that nice. One of the sinks didn’t work and just put out scorching hot water when I put my hand underneath. I also didn’t like the idea of having to roll the paper towel dispenser to get one out. I’m the type of person who turns the sink off with a paper towel or my elbow. Now, onto the food. I wish they sold catfish and shrimp for breakfast and had more options for grits besides just cheesy, but they don’t. So I had to order the chicken with waffles. I ordered plain waffles, but my waffles came out cold both times, and they didn’t even put butter on top. The chicken was so dry I thought it was a breast instead of thighs. It wasn’t edible either—the thigh literally pulled apart stringy like white meat. The chicken was plain, needed more seasoning, and tasted like it was fried in old grease. The bacon was hard and tasted like cardboard. The eggs were good, though. My son ordered the cheesecake pancakes without the fruit on top, but they came out with the fruit anyway. He would only eat the one on the very bottom. He’s a bacon eater and wasted the bacon too because of the taste and texture. Oh, did I mention we sat outside and didn’t receive any utensils? So our food just sat there getting colder until the waiter finally came, and I could ask for some. Oh, and did I mention we sat outside and didn’t receive any utensils? I recommend you try this restaurant if you’re in the area. The ambience was nice very vibrant and welcoming. The servers were attentive and well informed about the menu options. They had an issue with the order system so our food came out a bit delayed but the team did a great job checking on the table and even provided us with a free appetizer/drink for the wait. The food was flavor and came out as expected.

First and foremost, big shout out to Chef Sean because when he’s in the kitchen, it will always be a spectacular experience! First impression and he snapped: presentation, flavor, efficiency, service!!! It was all there, bay bay! When I tell you black business is booming, it’s booming. I’m so proud of Milk and Honey; I’ll choose them faithfully anytime if I’m in the area. Every business has its good days/bad days, good apples and bad apples. Some locations are more “established” than others, but I must say Monday, May 12, 2025, was a great day for this Milk and Honey. Compare and contrast the others; they’re not touching Milk and Honey because when our people create, we CREATE. Beyond the exceptional food, Milk and Honey represents something bigger: the flourishing of Black-owned businesses. It's a testament to the creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit within the Black community. Supporting businesses like Milk and Honey is an investment in our collective future, empowering individuals and strengthening communities. When we choose to dine at Milk and Honey, we're not just enjoying a delicious meal; we're supporting a dream, celebrating Black excellence, and contributing to a more equitable society.

Yelp
Nice soul food dinner. Great for brunch. Portions are huge for most items, be careful Service is good, but we had to wait 40 minutes to eat. Vibes are elegant.

Yelp
A beautiful brunch restaurant with great music and delicious food. Service was a bit slow but was fine considering we weren't in a huge rush. Would definitely eat here again. Ps - the biscuits are AMAZING!

Yelp
I'm disappointed. I put in a planned order for 5:30 pm at 4:17 PM and I still had to wait 25 minutes for my takeout. I got the chicken sandwich, biscuits, and the pudding. Chicken sandwich: - Taste like it was only seasoned with salt and pepper - The sauce only tasted like honey. -I asked for the sandwich sauce to be on the side. It wasn't -No ketchup was given for the tater tots. Pudding: - didn't have the cream or the biscoff, it was just straight $11 pudding.

Yelp
We stopped in right after visiting the Bible Museum. It was a week day so it was not crowded. I was a bit cold and thus, asked to move outside. The patio was nice for people watching. We had - shrimp and grits, wings, brussel sprouts, fried catfish and salmon and banana pudding and bread pudding. Note: the banana pudding does not have bananas. I was so impressed with the food. All of it was good even the wings, which is a basic dish. Our waitress was patient as my parents asked a plethora of questions about the menu. The portion sizes were adequate and we have leftovers of the shrimp and grits. This location is perfect for a post- meal walk at the waterfront. I parked on the street and paid using the parking app. However, the there are also parking garages nearby.

Yelp
this restaurant is very nicely lit and has air conditioning so great for hot days. I got the french toast which I was quite excited about, but it was salty which I didn't enjoy rather than sweet. but still 5 stars lol

Yelp
This was a treat for me to try out as it's a place I constantly see on my social media when checking out feeds from local foodies. It was enough for me to try it out, and I guess part of it was just that I like southern food. I went with a friend and checked in around 4:30 PM. We were promptly seated by our waiter and we were able to get a look at the menu. There were a lot of dishes I saw that looked appealing but I honestly tried to avoid getting Chicken & Waffles ( or in this case Chicken & Biscoff Waffles ). I feel like it's the most ordered dish but I wanted to try out something else. I went with ordering Butter Glazed Biscuits as my appetizer and Grilled Salmon for my entrée. First I would have to say that to get charged 8 bucks for biscuits is a bit ridiculous but maybe that's just how you know these are welcome to DC prices. A common item that's served for free at other chains kind of rubbed me the wrong way, but it better be good.. ...They were good but you only get three biscuits and three other seasonal condiments that you dip your biscuits into. I believe I got a raspberry jam, a mango-apple jam and honey and brown sugar butter. The biscuits by themselves are good. It's very buttery and also soft to the touch. I had to be delicate to them as they would crumble if I grabbed them too hard. Dipping them into both jams, I would personally say the Raspberry Jam was the clear winner, The honey & brown sugar butter didn't taste good to me and the Mango-Apple Jam was alright. The Grilled Salmon was probably the saving grace which I didn't mind the price for. A salmon filet topped with broccolini over spinach cream sauce and rice. Presentation wise I really liked how it looked so I took alot of photos for it and I was delighted that it made me want to eat it. The Salmon didn't smell, it was grilled well and each bite was delicious as the next. The broccolini had a crunch to it but when paired with the rice and the salmon it was a welcome addition to my mouth. I really liked the spinach cream sauce too and thought it was good mixing it with the salmon & rice as it added more depth when getting a bit of everything. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend bought me a surprise drink as well, I got the Pineapple Upside Down Hennessy drink. Hennesey, pineapple juice, lemonade, honey, and the rim coated with cinnamon sugar. Let me tell you that this was really good when you drink it along side with the rim. I also thought this was great and had to buy my friend a drink afterwards for the sweet gesture. I think a one time visit is worth checking this place out, but I don't know if I can come back here with other unique options are in the Wharf. It just seems like Southern Food is so commonplace around the DMV that it's hard to justify if I can just eat here again. Try it out though.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of enjoying a meal with a dear friend. The food is delicious. I had the chicken sandwich and it was spectacular; it is very juicy and flavorful m. The place did take a while in getting orders out which was a frustration. Overall, the vibes are comfort especially the food and the space was clean.

Yelp
Service was on point and the place is clean and bright and inviting. Expectations: An appetizer and a drink or two ...and we have been to a Milk and Honey before, so we came back for the flavorful food we know them to have! We sat at the bar and our bartender was attentive and personable and guided us on our drinks and snack adventure. I had a beautifully presented Bloody Mary and my friend had the Ginger Peach Mule. Both hit the spot. Snacks: Stopped in to graze...we were hopping from place to place on the wharf after our cherry blossom walk. Deviled eggs: I usually don't eat a lot of fried foods and these are flash fried - our bartender had to nudge me on this endeavor. Man I am glad she did. My only complaint- there we'd only 4. I could have ordered this for myself! The eggs had that luxurious filling inside and on the bottom of each. You could taste the fresh dill, too. Topped with salty, crispy bacon. Devine little devils! We also shared a side of cheesy grits - right out of a cast iron skillet, topped with their Cajun cream sauce. That sauce ... took those grits to the next level. I really do love this place - and all of its southern flavor.

Yelp
Great pick for brunch on Sundays. Enjoyed our 90 minute brunch. The biscuits are huge, fluffy and delicious. The smothered chicken and biscuits were very tasty. The chicken was full of flavor. The waffles were good, but too sweet for me. Next time, I will probably ask for a plain waffle. The salmon croquettes were okay. Overall, great experience and highly recommend! Great service from the hostess and our server. The restaurant is well decorated and has a nice vibe.

Yelp
On my way to the African American Museum, I decided to stop for breakfast. Being from Connecticut I wasn't sure where to go, but the reviews looked good and I remember seeing it on television. To begin with the ambiance was nice. The decor classy and the music selection on point. Everyone greeted me and my server Johanna was very pleasant and informative. The food was delicious. I like to try different foods and my eyes are bigger than my mouth. I had buttered biscuits, salmon croquettes, cheese eggs and cheese grits. Everything was nice and hot. I enjoyed it all! Perfectly cooked and large servings. It was too much! I couldn't eat it all and still decided to try the peach cobbler, my favorite dessert. It is very good. Made like an empanada, it was a creative, well prepared dish. So please make sure you visit this establishment! You will be glad you did!

Yelp
Would I recommend maybe not.... lol Let's start with service: 0 out of 5 we waited about 15 mins at the table reviewing the menu over and over until we called the manager over... like where is our waiter. Food &drink:3 out 5 Ambiance 2 out of 5 for the hype I though it would be more glamorous

Yelp
Ooooooh BABYYY! The food was absolutely delicious and divine! The service was impeccable and the ambiance was laid back and comfortable. We came to the DMV for a quick weekend road trip to decompress and this restaurant did not disappoint! We started with the honey butter biscuits 10/10 Next, I had the Bischoff Waffle and chicken (wings) 10/10. My wife had red beans and rice (which we sent back because it was way too spicy. She opted for mashed potatoes which were great). She also had the Obay and Honey Wings...also 10/10! If ever in the area, you have to check them out! You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
The steak was delish. Went back for chicken & waffles did not disappoint. I will definitely be back !

Yelp
Great service and Management. will definitely be back! The chicken and waffles was the best I ever had. 10/10 highly recommend.

Yelp
This place has been on my list for a minute. I am glad I got to go. Food: flavorful and hot. The wings were good but I don't think they were fresh because they came out way too fast and was only just warm and not freshly fried. The fish was a ahhmazing. The drinks were flavorful and beautiful to look at. Everyone was staring at the selection of food and drink at our table. The service was great. The server was attentive, polite and not overly talkative or bothering us too much. The ambiance is casual. I actually felt a tiny bit over dressed. I didn't realize this was such a casual place. What was nice to see was the owner/manager working along side his team. I saw him making drinks and bringing food out. Put this place on your list if you go back to DC. Pro tip, make reservations.

Yelp
We came here last Wednesday for brunch on Juneteenth and I can't believe I had not visited this location sooner! Everything tasted amazing and service was exceptional as well. My husband's pasta did have a kick to it but he loved it! I'll definitely be returning because there were so many items I wanted to try but was way too full to try anything else.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant, very clean, and great location on the wharf. The service was good & fast. I started with a Biscoff martini which didn't disappoint. I ordered the crispy salmon hash and the salmon was very tasty. The hash with the creamy sauce was too rich, it was kind of like eating pasta. Ive eaten here before and had a great experience, I just haven't found a dish that I really enjoyed.

Yelp
The fish sandwich at this restaurant was outstanding! Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it's a must-try for seafood lovers. Highly recommended! Also, super friendly server and the ambience here was amazing.

Yelp
The great: excellent food and large portion sizes! The bad: spotty service and loud loud loud! The service was a little iffy but our server was very pleasant and always apologetic for any waits or snafus. He did make sure we got what we needed in the end. The seafood pasta was $35 but totally worth it!!!!! I think there was more than one entire lobster in there, plus shrimp and crawfish too, the sauce was also great Biscuits were also awesome, and friends said the seafood Benedict, biscoff waffle, and pancakes and all other food was good too! I recommend the blackberry bourbon cocktail as well. Finally I got a piece of chocolate cake to go and it was very moist and tasty

Yelp
My team and I arrived at 4pm on Friday without reservations, and fortunately, the host was able to accommodate our party. Since we were flying out of DC and had our luggage with us, they seated us at a table where we could be comfortable, which was a major plus! As we perused the menu to make our selections, our server was hospitable, offering recommendations and patiently assisting us in our decision-making. I decided to go with the brussels sprouts since I've been on a brussels sprout kick lately. They leaned a bit more towards the spicy side than the sweet side, but they were still quite tasty. For my main course, I opted for the chick and waffles, a delicious choice accompanied by hot syrup. To complement my meal, I chose the apple crisp soda; a new and surprisingly good choice. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is open and stylish, featuring a bar and diverse seating options. The bathroom, also stood out with its attractive art design, adding a touch of charm. All in all, my first dinning experience here was delightful.
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
I had a very chill experience here. Unfortunately I wasn't very hungry, so I didn't take advantage of all they have to offer. With that, I would return again to try more menu items. GLOWS: - I made a reservation, and the table was ready and we were seated right away, even a little early -Service was attentive and efficient -They have a bar area with TV screens to watch the game if needed. -The shrimp and grits was pretty good. -There is a live DJ. I'm not sure what time he arrives, but the music was a nice touch. GROWS: -The music selection from the DJ seemed a little all over the place. I would appreciate a curated vibe for the afternoon. -The salad was pretty big, but a $25+ price tag always gets me , especially when there aren't many other semi- healthy options to choose from on the menu.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
The location is beautiful and the staff was very helpful. I hadn't been to a Milk and Honey since I went to their location on H st, which isn't "full service". This one, however, is. I ordered the Cajun Caesar salad and Crispy Salmon Hash. Now I love me a good Caesar but this one was not what I had hoped for. It the sauciest salad I've ever had, and much too salty. The hash, salmon included looked good but lacked abundantly in flavor. Over all, seeing that both dishes weren't to my liking, I most likely won't be back to try anything else.

Yelp
This is a relatively recent addition to the Wharf neighborhood in SW DC and is still experiencing some growing pains in regard to service. I'm confident with time and experience it will improve. I apologize for the lack of photos of the food but my dining companion and I were both so eager to taste our meals that we forgot to take them until we'd already dug in! Food was delicious but I have a couple of minor complaints with the menu. The restaurant advertises itself as a "Southern Inspired Kitchen" and offers absolutely delicious biscuits but no gravy, I grew up in the South and find this inexplicable. The other issue I had was the preponderance of kale on the menu. I realize kale is all the rage right now but a Caesar Salad made with kale? Seriously? That being said, there were other options on the menu that I enjoyed. The honey barbecue wings were the way wings should always be made and I highly enjoyed them. I had the pork chops (although they were a little smaller than I expected) and the crispy chicken sandwich definitely hit the mark. I will be returning and hope to try more menu items (such as the gumbo) and look forward to them hitting their stride.

Yelp
First stop on my DC trip. Milk + Honey has a comfort vibe right as you walk in. We were seated in the window which gave a view of the Wharf. Ordered the Honey Old Bay wings- didn't taste much of the old bay at all. Deviled Eggs were ok, I'm not a fan of mustard forward eggs Smotherd chicken and biscuits was good. Service was great and food came out in a decent amount of time. Crispy Brussel Sprouts didn't give crispy and were drowning in a sweet glaze. Didn't quite like that.
google avatar

Jasmine L.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The deviled eggs were tasty and the chicken and waffles is a must! My friend had the Berry French Toast and loved it as well! The service was slow and our waiter wasn't too attentive to us would be my only critique and why I gave 4 stars, but if you aren't in a rush, this is a great place to try!

Amazing food! Amazing service and thr bathrooms were absolutely clean which is so important to me!!!!

Yelp
Milk & Honey somewhat exceeded my expectations (which were low) and I was pleasantly surprised. Host was friendly. Service was terrible, but the food was good. It's very casual, though I was taken aback by someone eating out of a to-go container with plastic utensils in the bar area, but thankfully, they use real dinnerware and flatware in the dining room. My friend made reservations. We were seated right on time in an empty restaurant, though my friend had noted there weren't many reservations to choose from, which was odd. The restaurant did get somewhat busier while we were there on a Friday night, but not busy enough that a reservation wouldn't have been available. But perhaps that is because the service is bad and they know it. Our server was clueless. Couldn't talk to the menu, forgot things, and generally looked miserable. I ordered the Biscoff chicken and waffles, a Paloma, the greens, and had a biscuit. The chicken and waffles were delicious and the chicken was crisp. Braised greens were great and so was the biscuit. Portions are big, so it's a good value. An uninspired, unbalanced (everything veered sweet, never a good sign) cocktail menu produced a surprisingly decent Paloma. I really enjoyed the food here and if they can improve the experience, I'd return.

Janelle J.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Service was a little slow but very one was nice. We tried to a walk in without a reservation and ended up sitting at the full service bar.

Yelp
The food is amazing. Good location, friendly. Can be a little noisy and crowded, but absolutely worth it!

Yelp
We had an exceptional dining experience at Milk n honey Thanks to my Server/bartender Donnell he was very professional, provided top-notch service and communication. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure our needs were met throughout our visit. His excellent communication skills made me feel heard and valued. I highly recommend this establishment, The honey fried wings were delicious and cooked just right. The barcardi bucket was so good. I loved that it was small with just enough room. I look forward to returning and receiving the same exceptional service.

Yelp
This is a nearly perfect brunch spot! For one, you can't be the location right near the wharf. You will enjoy the scenery and everything around after brunch. Also, in a busy brunch scene it's great that this place takes reservations. The only downside of the restaurant itself is that the acoustics are not the best, so this place gets very noisy with everyone's chatter. I had the chicken and waffles and my food was absolutely delicious! It was exactly what I wanted for a southern style breakfasts. The menu offers a great variety without being overbearing; anything you would expect from a southern breakfast is pretty much available. Also, they had a great cocktail menu and made an amazing drink. The southern food was matched with great southern hospitality as everyone from the greeter, to our waitress, and the manager offered great service and accommodations. The manager even graciously replaced my friend's meal for free after she changed her mind about what she wanted to eat. I definitely will come back here for the food, but I may sit outside next time to avoid the chatter and noise inside.

Yelp
They're known for their New Orleans inspired Southern Brunch and I loved everything on the menu! There's plenty of indoor seating, and the service is super friendly. They also have a bar if you're just looking for some great cocktails. I recommend the biscoff espresso martini! Their brunch and dinner menu are pretty similar if you're a brunch for dinner kind of person! Chicken and Biscoff Waffle - Sweet meets savory in all the best ways. The chicken is super crispy and you can pick either legs or thighs. Cajun Seafood Pasta - Decadent, creamy, flavorful and oh so tasty! Shrimp and Grits - I'm not a massive shrimp san so I loved that it was loaded with sausages as well! Butter Glazed Biscuits - The fluffiest biscuits ever! Deviled Eggs - I loved the panco crust on the eggs and crunchy bacon. I will definitely be back for this chicken and waffle!

Yelp
This used to be an amazing place, before the pandemic. The food is now just blah. Service and ambiance is mediocre. I hope it gets better. This is for the wood more town center location.
google avatar

Kenya M.

Yelp
I love to sit at the bar when I visit as the bartenders are so lively, warm and friendly. I always get the gumbo because it's most delicious and highly addictive! It's very spicy FYI. The shrimp and grits are tasty as well. I wasn't a huge fan of the deviled eggs because they are deep fried and it made them kind of rubbery. That's a personal preference and they are still worth trying. I love it here and will definitely visit every time I'm in town for work.

Yelp
Milk & Honey is a must for me whenever I touch down in DC! Love this location because it's right next to the DC Wharf where there are tons of things to do in the area. I enjoy walking the pier around there as well. Now on to more pressing matters....THE BISCUITS. I would come all the way to DC from Philly just to have them. 10/10 in my book. I also got the Old Bay Honey Wings and those were 10/10 as well. I'm only here for a few days but I might have to come back before I leave! The server I had was great too.

Yelp
Do you go to this restaurant. I went on a Saturday morning, it was not husy at all. They then proceed to tell my party of 2 we need to wait 5 minutes, when there was plenty of open seats. Next, I wait 15 minutes to just have a server come over, after the front of house motions someone over to us. Other reviews say this place was loud - it definitely was. Even not fully packed it was dxtremely echoey. We order the Milk and Honey latte, which is terrible. It tasted like warmed up milk with no coffee in it. For $7, it was a total rip off. The food comes out fairly quickly, which is nice, but the server completely got me the wrong meat for my dish (I got turkey bacon when I asked for turkey sausage). Besides that, the food was good. I got the traditional breakfast while my other party member got the pancakes, which all tasted very good. The server brings me the check and I pay for it, and after getting the receipt, she charged my party of 2 a large party automatic 18% gratuity fee. I didn't see that orginally in the receipt, so I added a tip to the original bill. This was a cheap and scam by the server to get more money from tips, without customers realizing it, so shame on her. If anything, do not come here if you are looking for an overall pleasurable experience. There and many great breakfast/brunch places in the area that you can go to instead.

Yelp
My party of 12 arrived with no reservations for a spur of the moment birthday dinner. The manager was very accommodating and did try her hardest to seat us. Food was pretty good. My son got the lamb chops & said they were a little under done but all in all, I still give 5 stars!!!

Yelp
Delicious! We went for an early dinner prior to a show at Arena Stage, so it was pretty quiet. Our server was super nice and friendly, which was a great way to start the evening. I got a pineapple upside down something cocktail, which had Hennessy in it and was totally enjoyable. I then went with the chicken and biscoff waffles and I am so glad I did. The fried chicken was so so so good and I don't even love chicken, and the waffle was delicious. I loved everything that came with it as well - everything was so harmonious in flavor profile. Everybody else's food looked great, too, and enjoyed their meals. So glad we tried it!

Yelp
We loved it here. The service and the food were both awesome. Huge portions. I got chicken and biscuits and no way could I finish it. Highly recommended.

Yelp
This was my second visit to Milk and Honey @The Wharf the food was great I had to double back.. And my Server was JUSTINE... She remembered me which was so awesome from three weeks prior. As soon as she hits the table her bubbly spirit was 5 stars.. The food was hot and came out quickly. Justine even impressed my 14 yr old nephew.. He said she is really nice we don't get that in Philly haha. Thank you Justine see you soon.. Melanie

Yelp
The services her is so slow!!! It took a while to get coffee and OJ. My wife asked for avocado toast on whole wheat if not she wanted something else. The waiter came out said that neither is possible. So she order scrambled eggs soft with white toast. The waiter asked black toast? What is black toast? Burnt toast? Anyway food finally came out and the eggs was over cooked. When we told the person bringing out the food that the eggs was over cooked she rolled her eyes at is like it was an inconvenience to her to get the food right. The glass of water that came out was dirty, not once but twice. Now note when we got here and there were 3 tables, it did get busier as time goes on. But still service and food didn't get any better. The manager did come by and try to make it better.

Yelp
We found this place on Google and boy are we happy we did. The crab sandwich was delicious. I was surprised at how much crab meat there was. My son had the fried chicken sandwich and it was also delicious. Our waiter Aaron was attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Yelp
Customer service at the bar could use some improvement. Bar tenders never asked if we needed anything and did not refill water though they walked by numerous times. The bartender at the end of the bar near the kitchen seemed to be on duty as the "exclusive bartender" for her friend who was waiting for her to get off at three. They talked to each other the entire time and the bartender did not check on anyone else at the bar that may have needed the least bit of service. As we were leaving, another lady at the bar was going off because no one greeted her and she had been sitting there for a long time. I must say Darnell I believe had pleasant customer service and was attentive to customer's needs when flagged down. Also, the staff seemed to be way more concerned about their own needs - we had to help staff more than they helped us - as a server asked my husband to help her open a top that was twisted on too tight. When he tried to ignore her because she should obviously be asking the other strong men or women that were getting paid to help, she persisted. He did not receive a tip or anything for his work or ask if we were "good" (Eye roll, sarcasm)

Yelp
Love this new brunch spot down by the Wharf. Got a reservation for Sunday morning, and the place was not crazy busy but the service was great and the waitstaff was super personable. Got the fried chicken with truffle honey mustard and it was a massive portion. Possibly the biggest piece of chicken I have ever received. It tasted great too! Sadly there was no drinks served for brunch though...

Yelp
The food was delicious. The gumbo was very flavorful. It was so yummy. I had the Biscoff Waffle with Bacon, we had the brussel sprouts, biscuits, and another shrimp appetizer pictured. Customer service was off for me. I asked for napkins and didn't receive them until my friend asked 15 minutes later. Delayed on checking on us. The food was great I needed a nap! Very nice ambiance.

Yelp
We stumbled across this place while we were walking The Wharf and we're so happy we found it!! The service was great and the food was amazing. We ordered the kale watermelon salad, biscuits, Cajun seafood pasta, gumbo, and shrimp and grits. Soooo good!! The biscoff espresso martini was a 10/10 too. Would definitely come back here, I'm sure it would be great for brunch too. Overall, we had a great Friday night dinner all thanks to Milk & Honey!

Yelp
The customer service is always great. They pay attention to you and provide input on menu selections. OMG the catfish is delicious! I will continue to come here when in the area.

Yelp
Loved this place! We were visiting DC for the weekend, and I met up with my girlfriend here. It was packed! It was definitely worth it. The food was great. The service was great, the biscuits were amazing. The wait was about an hour and a half, so keep that in mind. But that seems to be average with brunches these days.
