"I found a new tea shop open at 194 First Ave. in the East Village called VVN’s Tea; in addition to serving tea, local art will hang in the space." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya

Wonderful boba shop! They sell food as well. It’s super cute and I loved everything. Definitely recommend going here. The tapioca pearls tasted super fresh. They also have discounts for students!

Love love! Have been wanting to try this place out for sometime now — and was surprisingly pleased! Really enjoyed the pho’s broth and their take on Korean style chicken over rice. and their Mango Fruit Tea😍 Their customer service was top notch! Loved the way they decorated the place as well. Definitely going to come back to try out more dishes, and their delicious drinks

Stopped in for a hot brown sugar milk tea! Delish, thanks. Cute shop 💚

We are here in the Area for a wedding this weekend. Stopped by Milk and Tea to have a quick lunch this afternoon with the family. Everything we ordered were super delicious, from beef noodle soup to marinated pork dish…I would recommend this place to anyone that needed a Vietnamese restaurant suggestion. Definitely will be back whenever we are in town.

Bánh mì’s are fantastic Chicken egg rolls are really good Very reasonable prices Food is really good, every interaction I’ve had with the staff have been positive. Employees are funny and nice, it looks like a good work environment. It’s very clean and has good seating

Asked for sweeter drink this time and was recommended the Coconut Milk Tea with brown sugar tapioca pearls ($6.25 for a small), which satisfied my sweet tooth wonderfully. This was my first time trying the food. The kimchi fried rice ($18) with beef was delectable. I didn't want to stop eating. Big yummy pieces of kimchi cabbage and beef as well as healthy peas and carrots and egg in the fried rice. My tummy was pleased and will be coming back for more. I also ordered the kimchi fried chicken ($7.50) to try. Nice texture, a bit bland internally. Nice thin sauce on the exterior. The Kimchi Fried Rice with beef and Coconut Milk Tea is where it is at! Also ordered the flan ($4.50) to try as a dessert. A bit too sweet and soft for my taste, so I'll stick to baklava from places nearby. Total: $36.25 Lovely atmosphere here. Free water, cups, napkins provided. K-pop music was a lovely, albeit very loud, background to my reading while waiting for and eating my food. Shout out to whoever's playlist includes the Goblin OST and Avril Lavigne. An interesting but nostalgic mix ;)

Google
So so absolutely adorable and amazing! I went here with my girlfriends right before we went to FrightWorld and it was so cute and welcoming. We all got boba and some food and let me say… just WOW! 😍 The food was SO yummy and the boba was off the charts. I personally got a brown sugar boba tea with extra tapioca and they did JUST THAT! I love a boba shop who actually adds extra tapioca! 🥹 The atmosphere is so adorable and so comfortable, as well as the customer service! They were very patient with us considering it was our first time, and assisted us if we needed help with the menu! Definitely would rate this establishment a 100 if I could! Come here and bring your besties along. 🩷🧋

Google
My friend and I had an awesome late lunch/early dinner here today. It is soooo cute inside, nicely decorated with plenty of seating room and impeccably clean. They had a huge menu with tons to choose from. I got a large earl gray milk tea and Pho, which came to about $26. The tea was really yummy, but the Pho was incredible. Super tender meat and an absolutely massive portion. My friend really enjoyed her veggie fried rice and avocado milk tea as well. I like the option to order through a kiosk, and the workers were very friendly and brought my food out for me. I will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Popped in since most places on hertel were closed & I just wanted a light meal, no wait, no crowds. Milk and Tea fit the bill. Grabbed a little brown sugar milk tea & a tofu banh mi. Both cost about $15 total. The tea was ready within 5 minutes & the sandwich took about 15, which they felt was worth apologizing for the long wait. This makes me think they likely serve patrons a bit quicker, if you're pressed for time. It's a basic setting, a bit more ambience than a fast food chain, but about the same level of cleanliness/service/friendliness. Noticed when a couple customers asked for printed menus they just said they ran out, didn't let customers know a full menu is available online. Unpretentious & casual. If this food is what you're craving, it's a nice little place to stop in for a bite to eat.

Yelp
Milk & Tea offers Vietnamese & Korean fusion food as well as boba tea. On this visit, my friend and I opted for food, but I'd like to visit again for boba. The service was friendly, but a little slow. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you at whichever table you choose. We ordered grilled pork vermicelli (gf) and flaming hot shrimp noodles. The price on the printed menu was not accurate for my dish; it was listed as $15, but rang up as $19. The wait was quite a while (25min+) and there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. Perhaps they had a lot of online orders and I believe each dish is made fresh, which does take time. They were also a bit on the pricey side for the portion sizes in our opinion. We both really enjoyed our dishes and could tell they were made with fresh ingredients. They were flavorful and offered a few different textures as well from the meat, noodles and fresh veggies. I had the flaming hot shrimp, but it fell a little short for me in the heat area... With a name like "flaming hot", I was expecting to get more spiciness. All in all, we had a good experience and would return.

Yelp
Really cute place with a fun vibe. The food was okay - needs some improvement - chicken was a bit dry and same with the pork but still very tasty. The fruit teas are great - it's a fun way to treat yourself - and it seemed very authentic to what you may see in Korea or Japan. The downside was it wasn't as clean as I'd like and it was a bit difficult to understand the menu. My husband and I did enjoy ourselves overall but would like to see some improvements over time like keeping it clean and making it easier to understand the types of food and drinks. Also I had to ask if food items were gluten free and the staff wasn't able to tell me what items didn't use wheat I had to figure that out on my own / which I can but when you're dining out and you're intolerant to gluten it's helpful for the staff to know what's cooked with wheat flour, etc. With that said we will try it again if not for anything else but the drinks and vibe!

Yelp
We went on a Sunday at 1pm, there was just a couple of people inside so no line. There is a single kiosk where you select your order, the machine was a little slow scrolling through the options but you can also go up to the counter. It's cute inside with pictures on the wall of all the food items. The music playing was a bit loud and I don't know what type of music it was, but we found it to be obnoxious though that could be due to the volume. We ordered two classic milk teas with brown sugar boba, we selected light ice and less sugar. Once we got the drink there was just a single ice cube and it melted shortly after, the drink was warm not cold at all. I know we selected light ice, but I've done this at other places and the drink managed to still be cold. The drink also had no flavor at all and the boba had a little flavor. I would not recommend getting a classic milk tea from here, we could not drink them due to the lack of flavor and warmth. We also ordered Fried Potstickers, it came with 4 and a sauce. They were overcooked and burnt. Something within the potsticker I did not like, it could just be me, but I did not enjoy the taste. Overall, we are not returning to this restaurant.

Yelp
Love this place! There are kpop events from time to time and I love attending and treating myself to some of the best bubble tea I'm the area! Forgot what I ordered last time, but everything has been yummy and amazingly priced. Service is amazing and their single service kiosk helps when the line is backed up. Complementary water, nice bathroom, amazing vibe. Will definitely be coming back again!

Yelp
Ordered the Taro tea and and Strawberry milk tea on Ubereats for delivery so didn't get a chance to comment on service. They were both absolutely delicioussss. They are a bit more expensive than other boba tea spots. I also liked that adding boba or jelly was optional as some people don't always want that in their drink, however I think atleast one topping should be included instead of being an additional fee (.75 cents per topping). It was also nice that you could choose the sugar level, varying from 40% less than normal to 40% more than normal, however there was no option for just "normal" which was really odd and confusing to me. I went with 10% less than normal and I will say this is in my top 5 favorite boba tea places in the area. Would order again, especially for the convenience of delivery from Ubereats.

Yelp
Milk and Tea is a super cute bubble tea shop and restaurant. I've been a few times and have gotten bubble tea, hibiscus tea and also food. They have a great variety of teas, toppings and appetizers along with main dishes. My favorite so far has been taro and hibiscus. I like that they have plenty of seating areas with cute decorations and even some mini claw machines! They have a great Vietnamese food variety and I have personally enjoyed the pork and shrimp vermicelli rice bowl and bah mi sandwich. Unfortunately I would've like to try the pork belly dish which I only saw after ordering on the specials menu at the table. My only complaint is that the food always seems to take a very long time to come out which needs to be kept in mind especially when eating it. The food has been great and I can tell it is made fresh but the timing may need improvement. Last time I came with 4 friends who all got their food after about 20 minutes, but my dish didn't come out until 20 minutes after theirs, so about 40 total minutes to get my noodle bowl which seems a bit long. I will likely be back but I would probably only order ahead of time or order takeout since the food takes awhile. But overall, the food and drinks are enjoyable and it is a nice spot.

Yelp
as always, milk and tea provides a perfect boba experience this tea was a little more milkshake-y but the flavor was divine. a perfect treat, lovely staff, and a little cow that just won't quit see you guys soon

Yelp
Disappointing takeout order today. Fresh roll order was wrong, no shrimp and overcooked grilled pork. Peanut sauce was watery and tasted spoiled. Combo vermicelli bowl was cold and missing shallots/peanuts, pork was overcooked and the bowl tasted like leftovers. I've ordered this combo several times but won't do so again.

Yelp
I absolutely love it here. From the food to the ambience, the service to the blessed, blessed bubble tea. My dad and I were immediately charmed by how the restaurant is set up. The food menu has pictures of all the recipes they offer, which is helpful. My dad and I ordered food and bubble tea, the latter of which was brought quickly to our table by a beaming server. After she left, my dad and I began a conversation and within I'm going to say 3-4 minutes after, our food was on our table. "Well that was quick!" I said. My dad and I were so sure we would be picking up our own trays of food that we hadn't considered we'd be waited on. Then the most marvelous part: eating and drinking. I loved my bubble tea which I *think* was a passion fruit mango flavor. My food was excellent. Like, lick your plate clean. I was so happy I had chosen a vermicelli bowl, and still am. I'm gluten free, so I gave the egg roll to my dad, but the other ingredients married perfectly. My dad loved his food as well, though later he bemoaned how spicy he had made it. He put on a lot of chill sauce. I absolutely love it here and will be coming back. The service was extraordinary and so was the food and bubble tea. Come check it out!

Yelp
Good place for some quick eats from light bites to full meals. Been there now for a few different things and a couple items I recommend are: Bahn Mi sandwiches, korean fried chicken bites, sweet and sour shrimp, and the milk tea (tons of options there!). I think it's a nice spot to connect with a friend for low-key counter service experience with some fun touches inside (if you want blow a couple bucks on the claw machine in there, lol)

Yelp
BEWARE. STEEL WOOL IN OUR FOOD!!! We ordered pad Thai, fried rice, egg rolls and Korean chicken. Upon last bite, we pulled out what appeared to be a piece of the wiry steel wool scrubbing pads that people scrub pots and pans with. They (Ariana and another staff) confirmed they use these in the kitchen and weren't sure how it got in the food. However the Manager and owner - despite confirming this was from their kitchen - refused to comp our meal.

Yelp
I have become a boba fan this past year and the number of boba spots in Buffalo going up has me feeling great! I have been trying spots and stopped into Milk and Tea for a quick drink on my way home. The inside of the shop is so nice with plenty of Instagram photo potential. I ordered the pineapple green tea with boba and my wife got the lavender taro with boba. Both of these drinks were very good and had a really great flavor. A couple of improvements I would love for next time are more boba. Such a big cup and I felt like there wasn't a lot of boba in the bottom. There was also so many seeds in mine from the lemons, it really made drinking it kind of annoying at times. Pricing here is a little higher than other places and the sizes are a little weird. Overall, a great drink but they're just outside of my top 3 boba places in Buffalo right. Hoping to move them up soon!

Yelp
Really good food and bubble tea. The pho is surprisingly great. I'm from Northern Virginia where there are tons of great pho places so I have high expectations. I love that you can pick from a range of sweetness options on the bubble tea. Many places make it super sweet by default and I like to taste the flavor more than the sugar.

Sheidilee L.

Yelp
I order 2 strawberries smoothies, the smoothie it self was ok but the boba poopi taste so bad , they were horrible u couldn't even drink my smoothie so 20$ to the garbage.

Yelp
Best selection of milk teas! I absolutely love coming here even if it's out of my way. The atmosphere inside is very cute & warm. Great place to hang out with friends as there's table games available for guests to use. Other than tea, they also have a big selection of food which I am curious to try. Service is good, they take their time in making each drink which I appreciate it. No need to rush if it's not going to taste the same every time.
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
We stopped by for a spicy bubble tea while we were at the Taste of Buffalo. This particular drink was one of the best things I had at the taste of buffalo, with it being sweet, sour, spicy, and simply unique. It also came with this candy straw thing, which was basically a plastic straw wrapped in a spicy sweet tamarind paste. It was extremely messy to eat, so my wife decided to let me enjoy it. It was good! I would definitely purchase this again and try out some of their other items.
google avatar

Sam E.

Yelp
A location I frequent for a quick to go boba to spend some more time hanging out with friends. Comfortable seating and ambiance. Plenty of parking in the lot. Solid food portions. They have lunch specials at an even better price. Easy ordering at the kiosk or with an employee if preferred.
google avatar

Darlene B.

Yelp
Stopped in the other evening, with a few friends to exchange belated Christmas presents. The atmosphere and staff were definitely 5 stars, the reason for the 3 stars: value and price. I'm not really a fan of milk bubble tea, and prefer the fruit tea...was a little bummed there wasn't a regular size and only a large. The large was pricy in my opinion, as other bubble tea places(Tea Leaf) are a bit less expensive. The alternatives for tea selection and milk with no upcharge was a benefit. Interesting selection of food as well, didnt order anything, nor did my friends. Nice place, just beware tapioca or bobba are extra in addition to your beverage. My suggestion offer a smaller size for fruit tea, and I may give it another chance.
google avatar

Wayne B.

Yelp
Very positive experience. Consistently clean and pleasant. Has a weird Apple Store-style vibe. Lots of white, lots of clean lines, lots of technology around. Staff is extremely kind. Lots of drink options, but very limited food menu. That said, the food they do have is extremely tasty. My favorite drink item is the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Sweet drinks are a bit very sweet.
google avatar

Kim Y.

Yelp
Great service! Staff very friendly and helpful with suggestions to dishes or drinks! Saw Creme Brulee on IG, had to try it ASAP! It does didn't disappoint me! I also ordered a traditional Banh Mi ! I've never had 1 before and it was pretty good! I'll try the Korean beef next time! Place is spacious and clean
google avatar

Amy A.

Yelp
I am so so SO glad that I finally tried this place. For a while, I wasn't sure if they were *to go only* with the lockdown rules. Thankfully, I stopped by when they allow dine in. They have two cute IG-walls/backgrounds for your bubble teas! One is a flower wall and the other one has a punny little saying. I won't spoil the fun/what it says, I'll let you check it out yourself :D They offer a few food offerings- Vietnamese sandwiches and noodle soups. I didn't get a chance to try it *this time* (I came after dinner) but I'll be sure to come back! I love banh mi!! For the last few years, I've been trying to find a bubble tea joint that is comparable to the ones in Toronto/NYC. I believe I have found it *yay*
google avatar

Zachary L.

Yelp
Very poor quality drinks and tapioca. The flavors taste nothing like they are supposed to, same with the boba itself. The food is not terrible. The staff is friendly and the interior is nice but nothing can make up for the bubble tea.
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
What grabbed my attention upon entering this establishment is the pun "can't we all just get oolong." As as avid pun lover this sold me right away! The interior is very inviting and very aesthetically pleasing. There's plenty of seating available and counter space if you decide you want to linger around. Please use your best judgment as COVID is real and be socially distant from others in the same space. They have a mixture of milk teas, fruit teas, and food on their menu. I ordered the regular size Oolong Green Tea with tapioca ($5.50). I've had my fair share of bubble teas and wouldn't say that this is the best I have ever had but it was just mediocre. My boyfriend ordered a large Taro Milk Tea with herbal jelly ($6.25). This drink was a bit on the sweet side so I would suggest to adjust the sugar levels if you decide to go with this drink of choice. Overall, we felt like the drinks were a bit on the pricer side and comparable to prices in NYC. We also got the Pandan Waffle ($3) to share and let me just say that this stole the spotlight from their drinks! I enjoyed the subtle pandan flavor and the crispy yet melt in your mouth waffle. I highly recommend this item on the menu and would get again! All in all, you have a returning customer in me!

Yelp
What great surprise! My friend and had just come out of the bank and we spotted this new place. It looked so inviting we went in to check it out. As others have reported, the inside is immaculate, new and beautifully designed. It is spacious, so waiting for take-out during Covid days is comfortable. The friendly, informative staff was properly adorned with PPE. I use waffles as a benchmark. If the waffles are good, I trust everything else in the place will be good, too. Milk and Tea waffles are wonderful! If you love waffles like I do, then put this place on your list. I gobbled my waffle before my friend had a chance to remind me I have fresh strawberries and blueberries and whipped cream that I could have put on the waffles. That means I will have to get them again and again and try to be patient enough to decorate them appropriately. Usually, I don't put pictures of menus in my reviews, but with Covid and take-out or delivery only, maybe it will be helpful this time. Oh, and Pho. Pho and waffles? It doesn't rhyme. Next time we'll try the Pho. But not with waffles. Pho and egg rolls. Chicken wings and tea. You will find Milk and Tea at the corner of Hertel Ave and Delaware Ave on bus routes #11 Colvin and #25 Delaware.

Yelp
Closed on a Wednesday at 8pm. Sign clearly states open till 9:30. I could see workers inside and no one even gave me time of day to explain why. FYI closed on all tuesdays despite what all their platforms say.
google avatar

Yelp
This a relatively new restaurant since March 15 2020. Clean and spotless I'm not familiar with bubble Tea but the bubbles are filled with different fruits and juices. Tea can be earl grey oolong black and green also matcha green. The teas mostly come with toppings milk but there are alternative mixers as well as different Along with some asian restaurant fare. Potstickers, pho, egg rolls chicken wings and waffles. Staff was helpful and welcoming any questions answered quickly and politely. I will have to return to try the food.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in this evening when picking up my to-go order next door. I saw the now open sign, I love milk tea so I figured why not pop in? The tea varieties are pictured on the wall, so if you are new to tea or unsure what you want, you have visual guidance. They also have some food options which I'll be back to try another time. The decor is really cute, I love the "Can't we all get oolong" sign up front and the pretty flower wall in the back, both are instagram worthy backdrops. There are different types of seating, tables and bar style. Dining in is currently outlawed, so obviously no one was dining in tonight. After I ordered I was talking with the gentleman I ordered from and they just opened on Sunday, right before the restaurant ban, but they seemed to be doing okay. This is definitely a place that would be great to stay in and enjoy your tea, but fortunately it's also easy to take to go. All of the fruit purées in the teas are made from fresh fruit and all the teas have the option to add in items like bursting bobas and flavored bobas. I ended up ordering the dragonfruit citrus tea with bursting dragonfruit bobas for myself and Thai milk tea with brown sugar bobas for my husband. Both were delicious and the Thai milk tea was a huge hit with my husband when I brought it home for him. Definitely pop in and grab a tea to go until NYS allows restaurants to open up fully again, then pop in and stay for tea and food! They are super friendly and helpful if you are unsure what to try!
google avatar

Eric D.

Yelp
I don't get here as often as I'd like because of where I live and distance but this is definitely one of the best bubble tea places around. They have more options for drinks and food available than most places and all is very good! I like the bright trendy interior with lots of sitting space! Pricing is good and the staff are always very friendly! Highly recommended you give this place a shot
google avatar

Myra C.

Yelp
Great experience I sipped dragon citrus tea yummy yum y & my girlfriend sipped matcha milk tea. The music was just right! And the vibes were awesome I'll definitely come to this establishment again.

Yelp
Finally a place that does a classic well. We have been to numerous bubble tea shops in the buffalo area and many have light or diluted tea flavor. Milk and Tea is truly one of a kind. From the punny decor to the deep rich tea flavor in my classic milk tea, this place is reminiscent of a hipster boba stop in Toronto or California. As I am in the area often running errands, this will definitely become a regular stop. Next time, we'll remember to get the pandan waffle too!
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
these were the worst drinks i've ever tired, it's loaded with only artificial flavor and nothing else. service also really slow even though we were the only customers there. the only good thing was that they had good interior.
google avatar

Jean K.

Yelp
I recommend the vermicelli noodle! Great flavor and a really big portion, too. The shrimp and chicken were cooked well and there was a lot of chicken. The salmon egg roll had cream cheese I think, which isn't really my thing, but it was still good. Tasted just like any Vietnamese bun I've had at other restaurants. The lavender milk tea was a very subtle flavor, but nice. Less sweet than taro, which is great because taro is usually too sweet for me. The brown sugar sweetens it up quite a bit anyway. The tapioca (boba) was the perfect consistency! Soft, squishy, but not chewy. I'll be returning!
google avatar

Kelly R.

Yelp
really awesome to have so many food options at a boba tea place. the staff was very nice--one forgot boba in my boba slushie but they quickly rectified the situation! they also packaged the extra pho i had to go for me which was nice considering they couldve made me do it myself. i also enjoyed their music selection. a great little place to go to for a lunch or dinner!

Cara M.

Yelp
Cute interior place - mid everything else. Boba isn't as good, I've had better from around here, every time I have gone they forget at least one of the toppings in the drinks .... all the toppings cost money .... I wouldn't mind every once in a while but quite literally almost every time is kinda annoying especially when you're taking it to go. I've only had banh mi's for the food and they also are on the average scale, they weren't bad but they also weren't good. I get this place when I'm craving boba in a pinch but if I have the time to go out of my way I definitely would go elsewhere
google avatar

Ainslee R.

Yelp
Banh mi isn't bad as well as the big dumplings (would recommend the Korean inspired banh mi). They have my favorite boba in Buffalo, their Taro is delicious and you can modify the sweetness and everything. They also hold k-pop events there which is cute and welcoming. Not always the nicest workers but they're young so it's understandable!
google avatar

Colleen O.

Yelp
Flavor wise, this place comes closest to my favorite bubble tea joint, Tea Leaf Cafe. The decor is definitely a touch above most, cool sayings and an adorable cow mascot ! I opted for a pineapple tea with Kiwi boba (toppings/ bubbles are an additional charge). The fresh fruit (lemon/ lime slice) is a nice touch. I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for their teas being significantly pricier than other establishments. (my tea ended up being $8 plus tax) Also, the customer service was just ok (not overly friendly and you should see what they put as my name lol) There are at least 4-5 different teas on the menu I'd like to try, so another trip out to this location will happen very soon!
google avatar

Wendy D.

Yelp
I have been thoroughly surprised by how good their food was. I stumbled on this place & I'm so glad I did. Their bubble teas are good but their pho is incredible. I get mine to go with ox-tail. Last time I went, I also got their flan and it was probably the best flan I've ever had. Not too egg-ie, soft, with a hint of cinnamon and they surround it with bubble tea tapioca pearls. Phenomenal place. I will continue to go probably once a week. This is a diamond in the rough. Side note: I was not impressed by their dumplings but their other food is so good I'm still giving them 5 stars!
google avatar

Joel B.

Yelp
Do Not Sleep On This Place! Milk and Tea is so much more than a boba tea spot. Their food is amazing. Potstickers, popcorn chicken, and pho are top notch. Their Banh Mi is the best in Buffalo. Make sure you order a side of Mango Chili sauce. Been back 3 times within a week and a half just to try it on different menu items. And I can't forget to mention this garlic cheese bread. Worth the wait!
google avatar

Jen E.

Yelp
I was about to treat myself to a coffee shop cold beverage nearby, and then saw this store and wanted to check it out because I have never heard of it. The store is large with many staff. I ordered the taro coconut milk tea with salted cheese topping based on another Yelper's review. I have never tried that salted cheese, it was interesting, I liked it. The beverage was served in a nice plastic cup and had multiple drinking opportunities; a large straw, a normal sized straw, and drinking by mouth. I also got a sesame ball which was only a dollar. I really liked it, it was served warm and filled it with some sort of coconut mixture. The beverage and sesame ball were a nice afternoon snack.

Yelp
I am a huge bubble tea person and when I saw that a new place opened right around the corner, I had to go check it out. Unfortunately it was Covid time, so I decided to get a to-go even though the interior looked so inviting. The ambience was casual and tasteful and they had a pretty big seating area which would accommodate big groups. I had been looking for cheese milk foam tea (I know it sounds weird, but you've got to try it before you judge it) in Buffalo ever since I had it in California and was delighted to see that this place had it on their menu. I was also surprised to see that they had 'bursting' boba as a topping so I went with my classic taro milk tea with yogurt flavored bursting boba and cheese foam as toppings. I asked for less sugar and they obliged. The drink turned out great with the right level of sweetness and the bursting boba was so cool when it 'popped' in my mouth. It is essentially a thin layer of tapioca with yogurt filling/ flavor. The cheese foam wasn't as great as I remembered but still tasted pretty good with the rest of it. The taro milk tea itself had a pleasant flavor that worked as a great base for the toppings. I had been disappointed by bad milk taste lately at other locations but this place delivered a very satisfying experience. They also have pandan flavored waffles on their menu which I'm very eager to try next. I feel sorry for them that the coronavirus hit a week after they opened. But as someone who very much appreciates local businesses that deliver good food and beverages, I'm gonna make it a point to frequent this place as much as I can in these troubled times. I confirmed today that they are open in their normal hours and are using GrubHub, so I strongly suggest checking their selection out either by delivery/pickup especially if you are a bubble tea person.

Yelp
This place was a bit disappointing. :( We ordered two bubble teas via Door Dash and went to pick it up at the pickup time, but when we arrived, the drinks weren't ready. They started making the drinks once my husband physically walked in the shop to pick the drinks up. The drinks took FOREVER to make too... so we had to wait 10-15 minutes for the drinks to finally be made. The bubble teas weren't that bad, but on the sweeter side (even though we requested half sugar). I'm not sure if the slow process of making drinks was because they just opened or because it's regularly like this, but we'll have to come back after the shelter-in-place is over.

Yelp
I have been craving for bubble tea since the outbreak out of public health crisis as many of the local places are affected. I have been looking for a place that was still open and my roommate found this location. It was a little out of the way for me but really wanted some. The place was big in my opinion. They also serve Vietnamese food as well. The place is fairly new so some of the drinks are not on display yet. There are drinks that I have not seen at the other local bubble tea places so i was happy to try something new. I got the taro bomb and it was good. There was different toppings in the drink and it also comes with real taro. I will def go back and try other drinks on the menu. It is a little pricey for bubble tea. I ordered a large and it was like $6 something. Will bring my other friends to try it out.

Yelp
Place is cute, drinks are overpriced & stingy. I'm talking $7 for a good 2-3 sips, the rest is just ice & bubble tea toppings. Drinks were made fairly slow, I shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes for a simple drink when the place is dead.

Yelp
Exactly what I would expect from a milk tea place, modern lights, eclectic flavors. I got a really delish honeydew milk tea with aloe jellies - and while I loved it...it was room temperature and felt very skimped on the jellies! Won't hold that against them...too much. Staff were nice. Prices have gone up, thanks pandemic (I assume).

Yelp
My first time trying bubble because the kids begged me to go and try it was amazing. Never heard of before but when you drinks any flavor tea and them little bubble balls burst in your mouth all you can say is WOW. The egg rolls was small but when you dip them in that sauce that come with it, it's a different type of great taste that I never had before.

Yelp
This is a fun little spot in the more commercial end of Delaware. It has food and tea and an assortment of other specials based on what they have in stock. Pretty good, not groundbreaking, but a fun stop after work or to get a non-coffee or alcoholic drink with friends. I had a lavender milk tea and vegetarian egg rolls and they were good. What really sells it is the decoration and atmosphere. It definitely is clean and really chic. I will definitely be in again, especially as summer rolls around and I live within walking distance!

Yelp
Really loved this place! So cute inside and they had a huge variety of flavors. The bubble tea was one of the best I have had. The only downfall was the price, my drink was almost $9, just for one bubble tea, and it only came in one size. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Milk and Tea!
