Delicious old-fashioned petit fours. When I was very little, my mom hosted a lot of showers. She ordered big boxes of them from the little old lady that lived behind the church. Good memories riding with my mom to get them! In 30+ years I've never had a petit four that comes close to that memory but the ones at Milk are perfection! Highly recommend ordering for showers and parties or just because you're an adult and you can.

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Milk Dessert Bar! It was not only stunningly beautiful but also so fresh, soft, and full of flavor! This cake had our guests raving about how delicious it was weeks later. From the cake tasting to the flawless delivery on our wedding day, their customer service was nothing short of immaculate. We love coming here. Yesterday we had the pecan pie cake and wow, it was delicious. Huge slice that we split and still had some leftover to take home. I’m sad that this business is closing. They have the freshest ingredients and friendly staff. Please come out and support before they close next month.

A little hard to find, impossible to stop thinking about!! We had a group of seven and can recommend the ice cream with choice of cookie doughs (see pics), cheesecake, and - Oh my - the cake. The pecan pie cake is decadent. Service was exceptional and the staff even split a piece of cheesecake as they boxed it all up for us. The atmosphere was great, but we had a football game to watch.

Disappointing with the flavor. Too rich and not worth the price. Also I was moving the cake into the container and the icing doesn’t move it’s weird?? Overall not a good cake.

We had the unicorn shake, galactic shake and the cookie butter cheesecake!! Everything was great. The shakes were over the top!! The look better than the pictures and it takes 2 people to finish one. WE WILL BE BACK!

One of my favorite places and today was my first visit. I timed then and they were putting out a milkshake a minute at their slowest and I still had to wait 15 minutes, but absolutely, totally worth it. Everything I sampled was delicious and every staff member was patient and explained where to order and where to pay. And when in doubt about the organization... Just look at the signs!!!

Everyone knows I love a bakery and a sweet shop! This is such a happy place to visit, the people are friendly and helpful. I like the whimsical decor it's perfect for indulging in something sweet. They have a variety of items to choose from, to my surprise, I really enjoy the edible cookie dough. I thought it would be too sweet and not for me but it's good! On this visit I got the Cookie Butter Cheesecake and it was delicious! I would certainly recommend coming here if you've never been.

It is too bad that this place is closing down. They always had a lot of great treats. My favorite was their cookie dolls. They would always have a very nice variety of flavors of the cookie dough and they had great milkshakes so shout out to Milk dessert bar. I am sad that you're leaving.

This is a lovely dessert spot that can quench any craving with the variety of offerings they have. The issue is this location! It's definitely tucked away! I'm glad I found it though because their edible cookie dough is so delicious! I got the cookie butter cookie dough and it's so rich I could only have a few bites. 10/10!! I also got cupcakes, but their cake flavors look phenomenal, and that will be my next try. Looking forward to my next visit! The service was quick and the servers were very helpful. There's also plenty of seating whether you come with a small or large group!

Great service, a variety of desserts in one place is clutch when unsure of what exactly you're in the mood for. Enough room to sit down and enjoy without people bumping into you and a more private area close to the entrance. Fun cheery vibe inside

Absolutely decadent!! The cakes are beyond moist but textured and sweet!! Absolutely amazingly delicious-you can feel the love that they put into each dessert!

This dessert bar is a little secret gem. We were in the mood for dessert and located this place that stays open until 9pm. They have an assortment of desserts for everyone's sweet tooth. The ice cream flavors are unique and you will be tempted to try them all. It's a quaint spot with several tables to enjoy your dessert with others. Be mindful the portions are large so you can share with others in your party. The young ladies that assisted us were very friendly and welcoming. We will come back for another visit.

We visited looking for a sweet treat while staying in Memphis for a few nights. It didn't disappoint! Came in a little later in the afternoon after grabbing coffee nearby. The place is a little hard to find, even with the help of Google Maps. Parking is also rather limited. However, we found a space and walked into a really adorable shop! I love the vibrant colors and cute furniture. We were greeted by a young woman with a hilarious Shrek t-shirt on. That earned her copious compliments from both me and my husband. lol. She was very nice and eager to help us. I asked her what she'd recommend since the menu was pretty expansive: milkshakes, cookies, cheesecake, cookie dough, cake, etc. I said no milkshakes because I knew we wouldn't be eating our treats till later and of course those don't keep long. She said cheesecake was her favorite but also told us about their layer cakes. That's what we wound up going with since I wanted something I was confident could come home with us the next day. We got a slice of each of their two available cakes that day: one vanilla German chocolate cake, and the other a chocolate cake with edible cookie dough icing layers. We were so stuffed from our culinary adventures that we ate the first slice one day later and the second two days later and they kept pretty well! The slices were about $10 each, but they were HUGE slices, enough to split between two people, or even three if you were okay with a smaller slice. Somewhat unexpectedly, the vanilla German chocolate cake was my favorite of the two! Instead of chocolate cake, it has layers of vanilla cake with German chocolate cake style icing (pecans, coconut). The icing was absolutely delicious and loaded with nuts, while the vanilla cake wasn't overly sweet and had a distinct vanilla bean flavor. Whatever moisture the cake lost on its wait to be eaten was replenished by the coconut shreds in the icing. The chocolate cookie dough cake was also good! Surprising level of decent moisture despite the wait, and the chocolate was rich and not overly sweet. The cookie dough was a little on the too-sweet side for us and my husband wasn't crazy about the flavor/texture. It didn't bug me as much but I still preferred the vanilla German chocolate cake. This place isn't too far from family so I'd happily return when I'm in town for a sweet treat! Maybe some cheesecake next time :)

Perfect little spot for a sweet treat for the kids. The milkshakes in huge (and priced accordingly). We didn't drink even half of it but it made for a great picture and experience for the kiddos. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for an incentive for the kids to look forward to.

Another amazing order of cookies from Milk Dessert Bar for a shower I co-hosted recently! These shortbread cookies with buttercream frosting are beautiful, but also delicious! Everyone always raves about these when I bring them to an event. Madison and the staff at Milk Dessert Bar are always so helpful and creative when I send them cookie ideas for parties. They've done cookies for me for everything from Christmas to a bachelorette party, and every batch is delicious and beautifully decorated. Order from them for every occasion!

I'm so glad I was finally able to try this place on August 31st, 2024. It wasn't busy when my friend and I walked in. The place was really clean and shiny. The two workers that were there help us with any questions that we have. My friend and I decided to get the galactic milkshake. The Galactic Milkshake is absolutely beautiful to look out and also delicious to drink for a sunny day.

My wife and I drive from Ft. Campbell to have their sweet treats. I am originally from Memphis and hate that I lived here and never had this place. The owners are very kind and heartfelt people and the staff they hired seem to be just the same. Everyone is very pleasant and professional. The shop is always clean and delightful. We make our own milkshakes at home from time to time but I DO NOT WANT TO SAVE MONEY BY NOT GETTING ONE FROM MILL DESERT BAR lol.

This review is tricky. I love my ice cream, you know this, but like the name suggests, this is more desert bar than ice cream parlor. Beware getting your treat after a meal...you've been warned. Boasting coffee, cheesecake, ice cream sandwiches, gourmet milkshakes, around 8 ice cream choices and around 6 cookie dough options your sweet tooth WILL be satisfied! Laid back and brightly colored, the venue was cool with brick walls and simple decor. There was plenty of seating and a full staff of gals eager to help and allow you to taste just about anything. Our group of 10 got everything from a huge slice of cheesecake, to a Cookie Monster milkshake (diabetes in a jar we named it) and of course ice cream WITH cookie dough. For me it was cookies and cream ice cream with three yes THREE cookie dough selections (chocolate chip, butter cookie, and red velvet). At the End of the Day it is RARE, for desert to get the better of me. The gals here beat me! The ice cream and dough selections was just too much for my stomach to hold and I tip my hat to them. Had I had a little more time to ask questions and explore my options this could easily be a five star review and believe it WILL be on my next visit!

Milk Dessert is known for making everything from scratch. I had the pleasure of eating the chocolate chip cookie and a cup of coffee to wash it down with. Recently, I ordered my besties birthday cake from Milk Dessert Bar. Yes, the vintage heart cake. It came out better than I expected. During the process of ordering the staff made it so easy for me to get exactly what I wanted. It was a reasonable price to around 70 dollars of a cake that will feed 8-12 people. The staff is friendly and I enjoy this cozy environment, you can study here or catch up with friends.

Delicious!! We got the cake slice with cookie dough layered inside. It was amazing!! If you love sweets and are ever in the area, give this place a try!! I wish we lived closer so that I could try other items as well. The place was clean and well staffed. If I'm ever back here, I will for sure come back to this place!!

Eh... their ice cream got on our nerves afterwhile. So creamy... They make an excellent peanut butter cookie though. Pretty people serving up the food too if you care about such things. We prolly wouldn't go back, but who knows...

Extremely over priced no matter what you order. Sure the cookies are large and the milkshakes look great but way over priced. It's a milkshake not a Maserati. You can get great milkshake at many other places for 1/2 the price!

Milk Dessert Bar was the perfect way to end a date night. HUGE pieces of cake, milkshakes, cookie dough, etc. we both tried the cake, and WOW! Bigger than our stomachs but so tasty we didnt want to stop eating.

Milk is a one of a kind dessert stop! As it was my first time in, I was pleasantly surprised by all the options available. I went with my family and this is what we were able to try out: * Piña Colada cheesecake * Cookie Butter cheesecake * Cookies and Cream cheesecake * Confetti/Birthday Cake cookie dough * Peanut Butter sandwich cookie * Cookie Monster milkshake The Piña Colada had pineapple pieces that were baked inside the actual cheesecake which I really enjoyed compared to it being used as just an accessory on top. This is also true for the Cookies and Cream. The Cookie Butter seemed to only have a drizzle on top instead, but worked out perfectly because of how sweet it was. They were moist, and melted in your mouth with each bite. The Confetti/Birthday Cake cookie dough, in my opinion, was something I would pass on in my next visit. The dough was not as dense, and had more of an icing consistency. I also wasn't too crazy about the taste. The Peanut Butter cookie sandwich was very delicious. The cookie itself was sweet and salty and really complimented the icing in the middle as well. The Cookie Monster milkshake.....well. So I do want to preface that as you seen with the other pictures posted, that these are Jar milkshakes so they do have a decent size. It comes with a rock candy stick, , icing on the rim, whipped cream, and a cookie as a garnish. The milkshake base itself was just not good. It tasted like a cheap vanilla with lots of blue food coloring (blue tongue + blue mouth galore). But with all that being said, I can overlook a blue milkshake made for children over the delicious cheesecake + cookie we had. I think it's also good to note that they had a self serving water station as well. Milk Dessert Bar also has so many other flavors, food, and drinks that I didn't get a chance to explore this visit, but I will be coming back for exactly that.

This is absolutely my favorite place to get coffee ice cream! It is so creamy and is a well balance mixture of coffee flavor and sweetness. They give you a pretty good serving size of ice cream. The cookies are really good as well, but mainly I get the ice cream. I have to explore the other menu items eventually. The decor is super cute and eclectic. I love it! It is super inviting and eye catching. They have many safety guidelines for COVID in place from sanitizer, social distancing, and mask.

Thanks to Yelp, I was introduced to this place. A hidden gem for sure! Drove past it like twice lol. I ended up parking up near tropical smoothie, walked down the stairs and voila! Covid protocols are enforced. You have to wear a mask, there are separate doors for entering and exiting, and they have the six feet signs taped to the floor. If you've got a sweet tooth, they can fix it! They have so many different desserts to choose from. I settled for the mini Cookie Monster Shake and it did not disappoint. The bright blue of the shake, the cookie and the rock candy make it very eye-catching. I enjoyed every sip and for the mini, I felt like I got a lot. I will definitely be back to try out some of the other goodies on their menu.

Ice cream was good. The layout is confusing and could definitely be improved. Also there were four people behind the counter with only one person making the orders AND delivering them to the tables. Room for improvement

The desserts are delicious! The place is so cute with different color chairs and picture frames on the wall. The service was nice. The cashier was informative and kind.

I found out about this place through A Taste of CBHS. They were one of the vendors. Their gooey butter cookies were so good I had to find them. Their milkshakes were also very good. We had the Cookie Monsters and Galactic milkshakes. They have young ladies and gentlemen working the customer service counter and we're very nice. I bought a dozen butter gooey cookies and enjoying it right now with coffee. Thank you for your support of our school, CBHS. Will return that favor by supporting those who support us!

Milk Dessert Bar is one of my favorite local ice cream shops! Its almost like an ice cream lounge! It's super cute and trendy! Perfect for an evening out with the kids or an ice cream date! They have edible cookie dough, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, milkshakes and more!! They are truly home to some of the cities most epic milkskes and coolest sweet treats! The staff is always pleasant and helpful! I try to take friends and family here whenever I can because it's such a cool experience. Milk Dessert Bar is located in the Orleans Place shopping mall so not only can you go there for dessert you can grab lunch or dinner for later from one of the restaurants in the shopping mall. If you haven't been yet this is your sign to go!

Mmm! This place is freakin' delicious! I had never been here, or heard of it, but we saw it as we passed by. I turned around to go back for a scoop of ice cream. What I got was a tasty selection of edible cookie dough with fresh, smooth ice cream on top. I purchased a small and it was honestly a bit much--I left a little for the trash. The staff was soooo very nice!!! They patiently answered every question--we had plenty of them. I'm diabetic, so I can't have this treat very often, but I will definitely be back to taste this "Saturday in a cup" again!

I've found a new guilty pleasure spot. And I'm probably late to the party but better late than never. I thought this place only had milkshakes so I never bothered to go in because I'm not a milkshake person. I needed a sugar fix today and didn't want to drive too far. To my pleasant surprise, they have a lot to offer. I asked the cashier what she suggested and she said a lot of people come for the milkshakes but the baked goods are really good too. Here is the cinnamon roll cheesecake that I'm going to try my best to not eat in one day it's so good though.

Actually was getting a Bundt cake but their close on Sundays. I stumbled upon this place on Yelp and it didn't disappoint. I got the butter gooey cookie and it was so moist and soft. They have cheesecake , cookies and milkshakes you can't go wrong.

Omg! So many good things to choose from! We had cookie dough and a milkshake and both were amazing. ANNNNDDD, the young girls that waited on us were so helpful and nice! Loved this place!

Let me start by saying my daughter and I loved this place! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered a sugar cookie not as soft and chewy as I'd hope but the milkshakes are DELICIOUS!!!!! The Cookie Monster is blue vanilla ice cream blended with cookie dough and Oreo cookie pieces topped with whipped cream, chocolate chips, cookie crumbles and a chocolate cookie what's not to love! By far my favorite shake now. My daughter being the princess that she is ordered the unicorn. It's an overload of sugar. Vanilla ice cream blended with pink milk topped with whipped cream sprinkles, rock candy, rainbow ribbons, candy bracelet, cotton candy and unicorn horn. We're talking sugar rush in a jar. It's a definitely a sweet treat any princess would love. Highly recommend if you're looking for unique tasty desserts!

So the kids wanted to do something different on a Saturday afternoon and we stumbled upon this little gem. The decor is amazing. It is very retro chic. The staff is friendly and the experience isn't lessened by getting it to go. The kids were afraid the milkshakes wouldn't have the same flare if we took them home. Milk did not disappoint

So after several visits, I'm finally reviewing. This is one of the closest dessert places to my job and home. I'm such a baked goods fan. They have the best sugar cookies around (minus the sprinkles)! And several choices of cheesecakes. I'm not a big fan of cookie doughs or milkshakes but they have a great variety of those as well. Before Covid, you could even taste the cookie doughs. There cream cheese pound cake is also great. Today I tried their fall flavor Cinnamon sugar pound cake and a peanut butter cup cheesecake. I was in love with both. It was a great way to get my sweet fix.

Everything was really good! Some things were very sweet and we were glad they had coffee. Even the mini sizes are huge and the kids couldn't finish them. We couldn't find a clean table but made it work. Prices are affordable for this type of place. Parking is a little difficult but we made that work too! You should definitely try them. They offer samples of their cookie dough as well!

Found this hidden gem thanks to Yelp! Otherwise I might never have even known they existed. During these aggravating times of COVID it's nice to find places like this. It's also a pleasure to support them. MDB turned out to be a pleasant surprise. My wife just wanted to try the cheesecake while I, myself, decided to invoke the inner child in me and order a colossal "Galactic". The cheesecake turned out to be some of the best we'd had in years and, as for the "Galactic", I felt so much like a kid again it almost made me wanna go home and pull out the Atari and play some games! Next time we're in I think I'll stick to the adult side of the menu and grab some French Press coffee. If it's anywhere near as good as what we've already sampled...it's going to be excellent. If you have kids...bring them by and just get the regular milkshakes. I bet they'll love it. If it's a special day...great report card, game winning home run, birthday, graduation... then splurge and get them one of the specialty milkshakes. I promise...your kid will love it! Worth every dollar! And don't worry, while your kids are indulging, you can as well...the menu is stacked!

I walked in on a Friday night around 7:30pm.and the place was empty except for a few patrons sitting in the back. I actually drove by it thinking I was in the wrong driveway( I've only been once before) because I was expecting an overflow and no parking. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes, I knew exactly what I wanted and Ryan ( I sure hope that's his name) was very nice and helped me pick my last cookie dough flavor. Yes I got the flight of cookie dough,don't judge me!!! This time I picked chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, peanut butter fluff, and confetti. They made it home safely and I had to taste a little of each one and each one was delicious. I practiced self control and put them in the fridge, hopefully they make it through the weekend. I'm pretty sure I made it in before the night rush and I am glad. I'm still impressed with all the options they have to offer and if you haven't been you're missing out. They have cookies, cakes, pies, cookie dough, milk shakes and not just regular milk shakes, these are sweet concoctions of everything from cookie dough to rock candy, pink milk, candy bracelets, and so many other things; I can only imagine how parents feel after allowing their child(ren) to have a milk shake. I'd definitely return and I think everyone should try them atleast once!

Whether you are craving cookies, ice cream, cookie dough, or milkshake, they have it all! One stop shop hidden away in the lower level shopping plaza is a great spot for hangout and getting desserts. There is always something for someone. I'd recommend getting the colossal and sharing it with someone.

We went on a Sunday night right before closing, but they still had four employees working and happy to give us samples and make recommendations. I went with the Christmas cookie ice cream, which was delicious. It's a gorgeous interior, one of the classiest ice cream shops I've ever seen. We were the last customers of the day, so one of the workers offered us some free cookies that were going to be thrown out. Great experience for a not-bad price; one (large) scoop of ice cream is just $4 plus tax.

Their cheesecakes are big enough for two people. No matter the flavor... I can guarantee that they'll be explicitly tasty! Definitely some of the best cheesecake WITH superb service.

Place is highly overrated and overpriced. Store bought ice cream tastes sooo much better. The milkshake I got didn't really taste like anything. The cookie dough and Oreo pieces in the Cookie Monster ice cream weren't blended and didn't come up in the straw. I got a spoon, but the tiny spoons didn't reach into the bottom of the colossal mason jar. The Cookie Monster ice cream had so much blue dye in that my poop was visibly blue for days. The ice cream flavors were pretty limited and their crazy shakes were all just basically boring a vanilla shake. The shakes didn't even look that cool for the 'gram. The cookie doughs were okay. They were good for a few bites, but were super sweet.

Decided to treat my god-daughter to a colossal shake and she had an absolute blast her face was priceless when she saw the shake when they brought it out and this little kid attacked and demolished the shake I was amazed that she just about finished it she enjoyed and we had a great time.

This was the best milkshake I've ever had. Not to mention this place is adorable!! It's tucked in a lil corner but it's just so cute. If you want a quiet little place to go with friends for a lil milk shake hangout this is the place!

Definitely NOT worth all the hype. I'm the biggest dessert fan, ever! But this was disappointing. Vortex machine was broken. Cookie dough was warm. And they serve about one sip of milk for $2 However, the service was fine. And it was clean. But I was not blown away with the quality of the dessert, especially considering the price.

Super cute little place with friendly employees. I'm giving it a 3 due to the lack of options. I may be wrong but I believe a dessert bar should offer a variety of desserts. We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon. The placed was packed. Yet there was only one type of cheesecake in the display, chocolate, and only one type of pound cake. There were a few types of cookies in limited supply. I really think they could benefit from a fully stocked and varied supply of options. The kids loved the milkshakes. They were super tasty and made with care. The presentation was too cute! I encourage a visit but be prepared for limited availability.
