Where to Drink Boba in Portland - Eater Portland

"Hailing from sunny Los Angeles, Milk + T stands out with an unlimited self-serve topping bar: While most cafes will charge you around $0.50 per topping, Milk + T allows customers to go topping-wild with no extra charge. Milk + T also strives to be more sustainable, providing glass jars for customers and a 10 percent discount for those who bring them back. Customers can also enjoy multiple hand-painted boba murals along the cafe walls while they wait for their to-go drinks." - Seiji Nanbu

Good place for iced tea & milk tea. The sipndip are drinks that comes with a scoop of ice cream and though it could be messy and hard to drink, it is very yummy. Nice to know that their syrups don’t contain high fructose corn syrup and they use lactose-free milk.

Order through one of the three available kiosk, you can pick choose and customize your drink. Lots of drink choices and the place offers a small dining space to consume your drink. You can either get a glass - which you can take home and return for reuse ♻️ with discount applied or get a one time use plastic cup. Great concept and strongly support small business.

Ive been to the milk+t in Los Angeles back in 2018. Visited Oregon and was really excited that I was able to come to the same place but different state. Still the same as it was. Love their milk tea. Variety is quite different compared to a lot of other boba places. This location takes no cash and has a cool touch screen to order. It's cool i got a different design cup compared to 2018s bottle. Salted caramel in the black milk tea with chia seeds is so tasty. The warm boba at the bottom with the cold ice cream inside is just right for the drink. Hope to see you in another state in 4 years :-P

Clean! Spacious enough for a line during peak hours to cycle people in and out of the establishment. Enough seating for the less busy more casual customers to stay and enjoy. The order system is self-managed with three consoles that have tap pay access. The staff is kind and helpful!

Wow! The sipndip drinks come with a scoop of ice cream on top and are incredible. I love that they come in glass jars that can be taken home. And if you've had enough sugar, you can close the lid & take it home easily. Incredible.

I grabbed a classic milk tea on my way out and really enjoyed it. What I especially liked is that the tea was REAL loose leaf tea, so you could really taste it as opposed to the artificially-tasting powder that some places use. The tapioca pearls were fresh as well, so there wasn’t a hardness in the center, and I got a cool glass for free! I will definitely be coming back and bringing some friends along too. 🧋

Great concept, and best boba in town! In some places they rush the cooking of the boba, and it’s uncooked inside, at others the boba is over cooked. Milk+T gets in just right! You order your drink, and they give you your choice of glass jar (16 oz), or plastic cup (20 oz). You get to fill your cup at the boba station with boba, different kinds of fruit, jellies, etc. Then you hand your cup to them, and they add the tea. if you use the glass jar, and bring it back you get 10% off next time. I’ve tried the Thai tea, green tea, and strawberry with almond milk. All were yummy. And I love that you can adjust the sweetness. I always get the 25% because I don’t like it too sweet. Overall my favorite bubble tea place.
