This is my new FAVORITE place to study and work as someone who loves matcha (which most popular coffee shops around here don’t have). • Lots of comfortable seating available • Working outlets under most seats • Always well lit (warm ample lighting, doesn’t cause eye strain) during the day and after dark • Large, smooth tables The whole place is very clean and super cute. They have never messed up my order (I usually get 50% sweet, which always seems to get missed at other boba shops) and the staff have always been so polite and quick. Even on busy nights I’ve had no issue finding parking. They also have a good rewards program if you’re a regular customer!

Came here for the first time a few weeks ago and got the cloud Thai tea (I think that was the name) with no boba and the seasoned fries and it was all SO good. We did come in a little close to close as well but the staff were still happy to help us out. The inside was clean and welcoming and had plenty of different types of seating! Will for sure be back!

I recently visited and was very impressed with both the drinks and the service. I tried the Watermelon Green Tea, which was refreshing and delicious. The Coconut Matcha was delicious! My family ordered eight drinks total, and everything was ready in under 6 minutes. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was beautiful and picture-worthy, and the teas are customizable with sugar levels and toppings. They also offer food options if you’re looking for more than just drinks. Overall, an excellent spot that I highly recommend.

This place ripped me off today. I've been coming regularly since this location opened, but after today's experience, never again. I ordered the matcha cloud w/no ice. The employee gave me the standard warning that the cup will not be completely full. This is standard at all boba places and unless I'm getting the grapefruit smash slushie, I ALWAYS get no ice for my drinks here, so I'm familiar with the policy. Except when my order comes out, the cup was BARELY half full. The top of the cream came up to the halfway mark. The actual milk and matcha drink itself was 1/3 of the cup. I pointed out the issue to an employee, and the manager came out saying this was expected. I explained to him that while I didn't expect a full cup, I always get no ice for my drinks and the cups have always been 75% full and I expected the same here. After some back and forth, he finally agreed to add some milk. The picture below is what the final drink looked like. You can see that the actual liquid comes up halfway but even with the foam, the cup's not even 75% full. Every other boba place, INCLUDING this location, usually just leaves about a 1-inch gap from the top if a drink has no ice. This was a total rip off for a $7 drink, and the manager even tried to blame me by saying they don't normally allow for no ice for their matcha drinks. Ok, so why didn't the employee tell me that when I made my order? Why was I allowed to get the coconut matcha with no ice several weeks ago? Their drink quality has been hit or miss for a while now; after today's experience, I see no reason to come back. Hui Lau Shan, B2J Tasty Pot, and Chicha San Chen all offer great dessert experiences within the same general area.

Milk+Tea in Austin has quickly become one of my favorite spots for boba! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is so welcoming and modern, with plenty of seating to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is always friendly and patient, even when I can’t decide which drink to try next. What sets Milk+Tea apart is the quality and freshness of their drinks. The teas taste smooth and perfectly brewed, and the boba is consistently soft and chewy—never too sweet, never too hard. My go-to is the Classic Milk Tea with honey boba, but I’ve also loved the Taro Milk Tea and their seasonal specials. They even have non-dairy options, which is a huge plus for anyone with dietary preferences. Another thing I really appreciate is that you can customize everything—sweetness level, ice, toppings—so every drink is made exactly how you like it. Plus, the service is quick, even during busy hours. Whether you’re a longtime boba fan or just curious to try, Milk+Tea is the perfect place. It’s great for grabbing a drink on the go or hanging out with friends. Highly recommend!

Google
The milk tea here is some of the best I've ever had. There are so many options for coffee as well as other teas, not just boba drinks. You also get to choose how sweet you want it and sold at a very decent price.

Google
Milk Tea is a cute boba shop tucked away between an Asian bakery and the rest of the strip mall. It has a nice, clean interior and seemed well liked considering the long line at the drive through. We opted for a classic taro milk tea with boba and it was very good, maybe the best taro we’ve had in Austin. We also ordered the beignet fries which were delicious as well. If you’re in the area looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth we recommend a stop by this location, it will be worth your time.

First time coming here! Once we got in there, a huge line was waiting for orders! But despite the line, we got to the front in less than 10 mins. We ordered coco mango, strawberries snow and signature taro with 50% sweetness and they were all delicious and good sweetness! Inside the store was quite crowded on Sunday but we could see why they were popular! Keep it up the good work, cheers 🥂

Yelp
I have tried a lot of drinks from milk+tea and I love their milk tea series and smoothies. I went with friends and we got: Strawberry Matcha, Hojicha Einspanner, and Mango Cloud. As someone who loves matcha, I've always wanted to try hojicha (but I'm scared I might not like it), but I finally tried hojicha today from milk+tea and it was surprisingly really good. I got the hojicha einspanner (the only hojicha drink on the menu) and it came with a cream top, which didn't have much taste to it, but the drink overall was delicious. The hojicha has like a floral and chocolaty taste and no grassiness at all. My friends all tried it and said they would 100% pick this over matcha. I didn't like the strawberry matcha as much since the strawberry flavor was too sweet and strong, it didn't go well with the drink. If I was to get matcha from here, I would probably try the double matcha or banana matcha. You have to try their hojicha though!! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Pretty cozy bubble tea place. It's in the strip mall at the corner of Airport and Lamar. Gets swamped at times. Seating is pretty plentiful. Plenty of students tend to congregate here, sometimes working alone or on projects. There are other Milk + Tea places in the area, but this one is in one of the busiest locations. It sports a drive-thru and claw machine. I've never tried the drive-thru. Nor am I a claw machine expert. The beverage menu is extensive; plenty of different options. I don't think I've ever really gotten bubble tea from here. I've had their Mulberry Freeze and Uji Matcha, with 0% sugar, since it's naturally sweet enough. They use the SnackPass and they also offer some food options to nibble. Once you place your order, you'll need to wait for your order. Take a seat on the curvy couches at the center and chill. Or at one of the tables. The bathroom is at the rear left of the facility (left of the neon Milk + Tea sign).

Yelp
Ordered at the iPads so I didn't have to speak to any of the employees. They seemed busy anyways working on all the drinks. Super loud and busy inside with patrons playing games, socializing, and working on laptops. Drinks were okay, I wish it had a stronger peach tea flavor.

Yelp
Stopped by Milk + Tea for a refreshing drink and ordered a Mango Berry with Lychee Jelly--so delicious! I opted for half sweetness at 50%. My partner tried the Strawberry Matcha, which was surprisingly good. The staff are always friendly, providing great service and fantastic drinks! The interior of the place was super cute.
google avatar

Yelp
such an extensive menu with unique and creative flavor pairings! we got a matcha coffee and ube coffee. both of them captured the flavors well. my main complaint is that it was wayyy too sweet. i had a hard time taking more than one sip at a time. we were told they cant adjust the sugar levels on those drinks either :( the service was a bit slow due to how busy it was, but this seems like a cute place to do work or catch up with friends :)

Yelp
It's a great time come visit here during the hot day! We got matcha and jasmine tea drink and it was refreshing! :)

Yelp
As far as boba is concerned, Milk + Tea is honestly the gold standard in my mind, and if I'm anywhere near one when the craving hits it's 100% the one I'm headed to. All the drinks just stand out as exceptional, for some reason. Just very creamy, flavorful, boba with the perfect consistency, and a menu that's informatively marked up with any information you would possibly need. They also allow full customization which is largely standard now, but some places actually still don't which is surprising. I go with light ice, 25% sugar, and it's still very sweet and delicious every time. I'd say my favorites are the classic Taro, and the creamy mango drink.
google avatar

Wendy Q.

Yelp
The Mango berry is the bomb!!! please order it and let me know later. The place and ambience is so cute, very for Instagram pics... but more than that, the flavors are just out of this world. I have ordered Taro and the classic milk tea too and never disappointing.
google avatar

Yelp
Always love the boba tea here! Sooo many different flavors, tea types and topping options, there's something for everyone here. My favorite is the mango milk tea with boba and jelly. The ambience inside is modern and insta worthy. They have already decorated for the holidays and Christmas tree is up!
google avatar

Yelp
I love coming to milk + tea anytime I have a boba craving! A huge benefit is the drive through window which is a huge plus. The house coffee 50% sweet is my go-to when I need a wake up call. It is delicious and perfectly sweet and creamy. They also have a cute interior to hang out as well. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
I like the Mango Berry Tea with Strawberry Popping Boba, but the service is consistently very slow. I've tried drive thru and walking in, but both have extended waits even when it does not appear busy.
google avatar

Kerra S.

Yelp
The milk tea with boba and house coffee were both delicious. Beignet fries were to die for - tested like a waffle you get from the carnival as a kid. Prices are similar to other boba places, $5-7 per drink. Not cheap but nothing crazy in comparison.
google avatar

Yelp
Went here to the drive through recently and was pleasantly surprised! Definitely one of the better boba places around. The white peach oolong tea was perfect! Service was friendly and fast. I would absolutely recommend to try it out!

Yelp
This trendy boba shop is bustling on the weekend. I got the Mango Snow and it was deliciously creamy. It is a blended smoothie with freshly cut mango and swirled with sea cream. You can definitely taste that it was made with fresh mango. Yum! The swirls of colors are pretty. I customized it with Golden Boba and 50% sugar. I typically like desserts a little less sweet, so glad they could accommodate. Even though it was busy, they were able to make my drink quickly. They have a good amount of seating inside and looks like it's a nice study spot enjoyed by students too.
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
Got the green thai tea. In my opinion it isn't as good as 7 leaves green thai tea. The tea they use is very floral like a jasmine tea and we did 50% sugar and it still was SOOO SWEET. The cup it comes in is very cute and thick. I felt bad throwing it away. Inside it's definitely aesthetic and a place you probably could get work done. They have food here as well so I would consider coming back.

Yelp
I got the Hokkaido milk tea, and it's a black tea, and it tasted great! It's a bit bitter, but the milk helps dilute the bitterness a bit. I kind of reminded me of coffee. If you don't like bitter flavors or don't like black tea, I probably wouldn't recommend it, but otherwise, I think it's a good flavor! The worker was very courteous and answered a lot of drink questions my friend and I had. The interior was cute with quite a lot of seating. It's a pretty good study space imo.

Yelp
This is a boba tea place in this Asian plaza. Wi-Fi is free in this location. Many customers bring their computers and web surfing here. I got a crème's brûlée boba latte here. The crème's brûlée is thick with good cheese foam. Drink is good. Love the drink. Overall is good boba place. Great for summer heat release.

Yelp
Cute little bubble tea spot! The inside has plenty of seating and would be a great place to catch up with friends or go on a date. I got the Thai milk tea with boba. I ordered 75% sweetness level and it was still a tad bit sweet, but nonetheless very yummy! The price was around $7, which seems to be standard for Austin (if not more on the pricey side).
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
Not the best milk tea I've ever had but it satisfied the craving! The boba texture was perfect though. Very cute ambiance inside and not too packed for a Saturday evening. This is the only boba drive through I've seen in Austin so far. I would come back!
google avatar

Susan P.

Yelp
Nice and super clean place with great service. I ordered a grapefruit tea with 50% less sugar, but it was still much sweeter than I expected. I really wanted to love it, but overall the drink was just okay for me. That said, the service was friendly and the cleanliness of the shop really stood out, so I still want to give them a good review.

Yelp
Great Drinks, but a Few Kinks to Work Out Stopped by Milk + Tea recently and had a pretty solid boba experience overall! We ordered the Taro Milk Tea with reduced sweetness and it was really good! It was creamy, flavorful, and not overly sugary like some places tend to make it. That said, next time we'll probably go with even less sweet to let the taro flavor shine through even more. We also tried the Coco Mango with aloe boba, which had a great tropical flavor combo, but it was so frozen that we couldn't actually sip anything through the straw. Plus, the aloe boba was oddly large, the boba was too big to even fit through the straw! After a few attempts, we gave up and just ripped the lid off and ate it like a snack cup. Still tasty, just not super practical. The shop itself was cute and the staff was friendly, but the drink execution could use a little fine-tuning. Definitely coming back though!!

Yelp
Great drinks, but parking is HORRENDOUS! Not from the area, it might be less packed during the week.. I hope. Anyways, went to drive thru since it was impossible to get a parking spot. Tried a smoothie and a yogurt drink. Tasted great, not too sweet. However, the bubbles could be better... they only have one size and golden bubble. It was chewy with good texture but tasted bland. Didn't go inside, wanted to run from the plaza once we got the drinks. Price was decent and drinks came out in adequate timing. Would be back when it's less populated.
google avatar

Yelp
Really cute IG worthy interior. I was craving some boba tea so we stopped by here. I got the mango coconut with golden boba and mango add ons. You can choose your sweetness and they have some add ons you can choose. It also looked like they had a drive through which might be a good option for here if you're struggling finding parking.
google avatar

Yelp
Their boba SLAPS here! I've had boba from a lot of places and all of them do things that other stores but milk+tea do it all. The boba and popping pearls are delicious and fresh. The drinks have just the perfect amount of ice which for these awfully hot days are exactly what I need. The drinks themselves are so sweet and taste incredible. The worker behind the counter was also unbelievably friendly. I always find myself looking for friendly service when I go places since I enjoy welcoming spots to eat/drink and this place nailed it. Their customer service was top tier. Keep it up!!! I suggest getting the classic or mango with strawberry popping pearls, the mango was perfect!!! Inside feels so nice and casual. I walked in to a couple of students on their computers and a family in the corner playing the claw machine. What a comfy spot to sit with friends and enjoy yourself.
google avatar

Yelp
This review is only for the soft serve and the ambience (haven't tried the drinks at this location yet). I went on Memorial Day (no line) to try the matcha soft serve (I got the swirl with taro). I was pleasantly surprised at how creamy it was (a lot of soft serves are kind of on the icy side). The cool thing about this location is they also have a drive thru! We need more of these in Austin for boba! Interior is very cute and pretty and plenty of unique seating for groups.
google avatar

Chelsea L.

Yelp
Came here to get a bucket milk tea through the drive through. Unfortunately, the cashier was hard of hearing. After seeing the bucket at the window, we waited for 2 minutes and there was still no one to give it to us (even though the order was completed). They were about to give it to us but the bucket was leaking.
google avatar

Yelp
I enjoy the variety of drinks Milk+Tea has to offer. I have only been to this location and the service and quality has been consistently pleasant. A few drinks I've ordered have been the jasmine milk tea (on par with other tea places), the crème brûlée latte (decaffeinated and very creamy/delicious), sugarcane juice (made to order), and the Vietnamese ice coffee (my husband says it's the best around the area).
google avatar

Rishi P.

Yelp
Very clean area and comfortable seating for normal coffee shop. Plenty of games if you want to hang out with friends. Also drive thru if you need it quick. I ordered a crème brûlée which was in the menu as popular drinks which was helpful as I'm not a boba expert. It was done very quickly and the drink was delicious. Spacious and good spot to also work in as they also have wifi.

Yelp
This shopping center is a nightmare during prime time, but if you're craving boba in the area, this is the place to come! There is an extensive drink menu and tons of space inside the cafe. The interior is modern, stylish, and cute all around. Their standard boba is "golden boba", which is maybe a tad sweeter but comparable to regular boba. We ordered the signature taro milk tea and winter melon milk tea. Normally we'll order 50% sweetness but for this place we'll reduce even more for next time since they run sweet here. Drinks are pretty sizable too. We didn't get to try any of the specials but they looked quite filling so will have to save them for a day when we have a big appetite!
google avatar

Alex G H.

Yelp
Had the Thai Cloud and it was amazing! The creme brûlée's taste isn't overpowering and adds a nice sweetness to the thai tea. Would recommend for thai tea lovers to try!

Yelp
Parking: Crowded plaza, but ample parking. Directly next to 85 and shares parking with all the other neighboring stores. Wait: good, 5-10 min wait Interior: lots of seating, great for if you want to meet up with a friend for a chat or for studying! Taste: the tea taste is of superior quality. I am extremely picky with teas and love a good floral taste with rich creamy milky consistency. Although these teas have a lighter consistency versus a thick and creamy consistency, I did love the taste. Would definitely come back! For the white peach which was my drink, I would recommend going with the 30% sugar at minimum, since 0% sugar is a pure unsweetened taste. I like to add my sweetener at home after tasting the pure tea first :) White Peach oolong milk tea (0% sugar) Classic milk tea boba (30% sugar) Chocomisu with boba (75% sugar) I love that this spot has milk alternatives! But most of their milk teas use non-dairy creamers which I like the taste of. You probably could use milk as an alternative for any of the milk drinks.
google avatar

Mira C.

Yelp
One of my favorite bubble tea places. The crystal boba is always perfectly chewy. Like the peachy green and mango milk tea. Recommend signing up for their app to order ahead and earn rewards, as there can be a long wait.

Yelp
Third visit in about three weeks. My favorite is the classic. My kids like the strawberry snow and coco mango drinks. Favorite boba tea in Austin so far. this location is really cute and the service is great.
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
This is most definitely the most beautiful boba shop in Austin, and it's also pretty damn good! I think they bought out Ding Tea or perhaps Ding Tea rebranded? Ding Tea was originally pretty good, but Milk + Tea blew my expectations out of the water. My friends and I tried a variety of drinks from their menu, and I thoroughly enjoyed every one. I wish I could remember what we had gotten, but it's safe to say that you're likely to like whatever you get. It's a really cute space that's decorated really nicely. There's also plenty of seating, but I'm not sure if it's a great study space because there were a ton of people inside and they play music loudly. I need their playlist, though. I would definitely come back again and try their other drinks. They have super interesting drinks with creme brulee and their fruit drinks are honestly yummy as well.
google avatar

Yelp
As another Yelper adequately said, the parking in this center is an absolute nightmare during peak time, but luckily this boba shop has got a drive through. Haven't tried that yet but it was a thoughtful addition. The interior was definitely designed with the social media influencer in mind. Lots of LED light letters with little phrases are hung up against the wall, serving as great background decor for selfies. Overall it's a nice environment to sit down and chat with friends for a bit. As for the drinks, I've had the Mango Tea, Iron Goddess Oolong Tea, and the Jasmine Tea w/ Brulee. My favorite was the oolong; the other two were just ok. Didn't taste much brulee in the jasmine drink. I've also had the Vietnamese Coffee which was surprisingly spot on. Really sweet with strong bold flavor. I'd say this was a good newcomer to the center. Before your best boba options were around the corner at 85 or within 99 Ranch. Milk+Tea may not have the best boba teas, but they I'll give them points for the variety of options. I've got to try their Sugarcane juice sometime!
google avatar

J C.

Yelp
The place is quite cute for a date, a bougie boba place. Their matcha has a touch of creme brulee in it (not to be confused with their crematcha, which as more creme brulee), it's definitely a decadent more desserty drink. I like the matcha, but did not enjoy the flavor of the chocomisu I ordered on a different day. I would come back again for their matcha drink- it is a tad pricey though. Not factoring this into my rating, but the take out option while appreciated is very awkwardly built into their cramped parking lot.
google avatar

Ellie N.

Yelp
My second time here and I ordered signature boba. It was meh. I should have asked if the tarp was fresh before ordering it. It tastes like syrup and very watery. Uji matcha I order last time was very good though.

Yelp
Pretty boba shop with tasty drinks!! Drink: I love that they have a variety of unique drinks. Here are my top choices: - Soursop Green Tea: Tangy and refreshing with real pulp of soursop. It's more than $7 but reallllly worth it. Trust me!! - Sugar Cane Juice: Really takes me back to Asia. It's sweet with the unique taste of the sugar cane. I bought the bottled juice the a supermarket before, but it was not good at all, so Milk+Tea shocked me with how good theirs tastes. - Mulberry Tea: Hits home for me. I can surely taste the mulberry, tangy and refreshing. Besides the unique drinks that they charge higher, the rest are quite aligned with the market. They do charge extra for no ice ($.35), and for no ice sugar cane ( I believe it's starting at $3 and up for each ice level down since they have to add more juice, so make sure you ask before you order) Location: They have a drive-thru, which I thought was pretty cool. Parking spots in the Crescent Mall are tight so watch out... The store is super cute. You can tell how much thought the owners put in when you see the decor. Staff: Friendly staff and fast service. **Download Snackpass and order over the app to earn points for every drink. You get a free drink after 10 drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
While I like the cute decor of the place, the drinks were pretty average. I got a Cocomango drink. It tasted just alright. It also took a while for my drink to come out even though I came on a weekday in the middle of the day.

Yelp
Best Vietnamese coconut coffee I have had since vietnam ... not joking add sea salt foam for extra creaminess 10/10 my weekly treat for sure

Yelp
One of my favorite boba shops in Austin! The brown sugar milk tea is a classic that will never let me down. Various sizes and flavoring offered. Very cute interior!

Yelp
Sent my girlfriend and younger brother some money so they could get a nice treat after grocery shopping. They bought two drinks and fries. I asked them how it was when they caneand my brother said he found a hair in his fries and INSIDE yes INSIDE his boba drink, for sure never coming back here.

Yelp
Very beautiful tea shop with delicious and refreshing tea. It also has drive-through - not sure if it was open yet since I went on the Grand Opening day. Unless you're in a rush and just need to pick up a quick boba fix, come inside to hang out and enjoy the beautiful shop. Kumquat cane: This drink takes me back to childhood memories - quench your thirst with refreshing and cold freshly made sugar cane juice with fresh kumquat juice. Sweet with a hint of citrusy. Soursop green tea: If you haven't had soursop fruit, imagine the texture like very ripe jackfruit (stringy and soft) with citrusy taste (sweet and tart at the same time). It's very rare to find a boba tea shop that serves a soursop drink in Austin. Ice and sugar level: You can adjust the sugar level for your drinks. No ice will result in an extra charge of $0.35. The lowest ice level still has a lot of ice. Some drinks cannot be adjusted to less ice, which are not noted on the menu or notified by staff ahead of time, which may cause confusion. A couple of changes I'd recommend the shop: 1. Have an option to have no ice without filling extra tea up to the top of the cup. It'll be better for those who pick up the drinks for someone at home or those who don't plan on drinking immediately to still enjoy the drink in its original form without being watered down. 2. Note on the menu which drinks cannot be adjust ice or sugar level with an icon. Atmosphere: Bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. Perfect spot for a tea date or hanging out with friends and family. Pricing: A bit higher than other boba tea shops, but you're paying for the full experience - delicious tea, unique options (like soursop and cane juice in this case), clean, beautiful and high-end feel of the shop. Staff: They're helpful, work effectively together. They're also patient to explain any drink you'd like. Karen was very nice and provided a great service to me - thank you, Karen!

Yelp
A bubble tea shop just opened in the Crescent shopping center in Crestview, just behind the 85C Bakery. I decided to give the place a try. The place is fancy, clean and bright. There are tables and siting area that look very inviting. I ordered my strawberry green tea. It has fresh strawberries in it; it was so yum. Perfect for late summer weather in Austin! I'll be back to try out other drinks. Oh, they also sell a limited snack menu: popcorn chicken, fries, etc

Yelp
Got a bunch of different drinks and they were all pretty average, nothing made them stand out and nothing made them awful. The one drink which is by far the best in general is the fire phoenix oolong tea (not pictured). The popcorn chicken was a great snack, and the bubble waffle was somewhat soggy when we ordered it but we requested it to be a little crunchier & they tried! This place was recommended by a bunch of friends in Austin& also has a drive thru. It's pretty busy at all times but they work fast.

Yelp
My cousins and many of my friends recommended this place to me when I came into town so I knew I had to try. I got the chocorisu at 50% sugar with egg pudding. I think the sweetness was perfect and the drink was not too thick. My cousins came with me and got the peach and mango green teas. Both were good and at 50% sweetness you could really taste the tea. A complaint I do have is that they give very little boba--half a scoop at most. I also tried the spicy popcorn chicken which was yummy, but there was very little chicken for the price. The milk teas here are also good, especially the fire phoenix oolong milk tea.
