Little museum on the history of Atlanta and region and the key families that made the city. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. A bit overcrowded to my taste, some objects should be removed. Don’t miss the rooftop. No parking available directly at the museum and getting there was odd but traffic in this new part of town was not too heavy so could jaywalk without much danger.

I’m a bit confused. The Wikipedia description didn’t match what I saw. The space obviously is not an art exhibition space. There were paintings hanging in doorways, corners and over what seamed other exhibits. It seams to be only on the ground floor and the entrance was hard to find. All of that said, I did enjoy the Bruno Zupan exhibit.

Very beautiful museum. I had my wedding ceremony here on 07/2023. Richard was very helpful during the beginning up until the ceremony. A couple of weeks after our event I noticed that I was never refunded my security deposit. Everything was cleaned up and put back to place & when I called to ask about it they said that they were working on it. Never got the deposit or a response whenever I would inquire about it. Fast forward to 07/2024 a whole year later they said that there was a discrepancy on their behalf and they would like to offer me an evening for cocktails for 6 instead of the deposit. I kindly declined and said that I wanted my deposit instead….. again no response from them. I went ahead and decided to try a dispute a whole year later.

Nice safe place to walk, lots of sun in am area that the highrises throw lots if shade. Two sets if wrought iron tables and chairs by the Arch, above the main entryway into the Museum. Will update later with review and interior shots if museum

Museums are hidden all around Atlanta. This museum many drive by but I doubt many have visited. Currently featuring artwork by Bruno Zupan, the museum typically houses an exhibition pertaining to Georgia’s History and also on display is the Bodmer Papyri. We were grateful for Richard taking the time to walk us throughout the exhibit. He was able to provide more than enough info on the paintings and history this museum contains. I’m looking forward to visiting again once the permanent exhibition is back.

Absolute hidden gem in Atlanta. Was shocked when we first drove past it.... I thought I had some how flown over to Europe again. Made a point of stopping close by and taking a walk through the park and time to enjoy the museum and surrounding areas. Amazed at how few people were enjoying the wonder open areas and sites of their own city.... need more places like this.

This location makes an awesome backdrop for photo sessions! A little bit of Europe in the middle of Atlanta. The combination of architecture and the lake give a nice variety as well. The bridge makes for great photos as well with the Atlanta Skyline peeking in as well. IF your looking for a variety of scenery in a small space then this is a great photo location.
