Our server was David and he was wonderful. He was very kind and understanding and friendly. Fabian was a very nice staff person. This is a beautiful restaurant because it's right where the bean is and it's so pretty to see that and it's nice to do people watching around here. This is also used as an ice-skating rink in the winter and other events happen here. The ambience is nice because you have indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are nice and it's an inviting place. It's also in the heart of all the tourist hot spots downtown so it is a nice place to enjoy food and drinks. They have happy hour 4-6pm where they have $5 dollars off pizza and appetizers. We got the 12” $22 Carni Italiani pizza but it had a little bit of fresh mozzarella cheese and it was super spicy. The meat was tasty. The best part of the pizza was the chewy crust and dough which is not common to find in Chicago. They also have $10 drinks during happy hour. The burger w fries were very good. We even saw a Trump protest against ICE raids and such today while eating bc it’s right on Michigan avenue.

The food was quite tasty. The restaurant wasn't too busy so the service was pretty prompt. Forgot to take more pictures of the other items my family and I ordered. Everything tasted great, no complaints about the food or service. The prices were decent too.

Google
Gratuity got added on table of 6 as “large party”. Not a huge deal bc we would have tipped 20%, but never seen it on a party less than 8. Cocktail menu presents fancy and then is cheap( tested 3 different drinks and two were terrible). Charged us for every soda the table drank without telling us they charge $3+ per so $30 in soda for our table . We paid nearly $300 for 6 people to have apps and a few drinks.

I’ve been there twice with a group of friends, and I can say it’s an absolutely pleasant and fun atmosphere. The staff are all very attentive and friendly without exception. The managers, like Gerard, are a 10/10 — a complete gentleman who gave us a truly wonderful experience at the Millennium Hall. And the pizzas? Excellent. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back.

Bought a ticket for a BYO pizza & sip event, LOVED IT! At the end of the night we got a free drink voucher which we will for sure come back to use. Staff made the experience very fun and they were all super helpful through out the night.

My friend and I visited Millennium Hall for a DIY and Sip pizza making class. It was AMAZING!!! We got to have a one on one with the manager and he gave us a full experience with pizza making. He made the experience even better with his hospitality 10/10. The class itself was really nice, the wine was tasty, and the pizzas we made were delicious. We got to take pictures and videos of the experience and had an all around good time. Definitely will be coming back with more friends to do the class again.

Stopped in for a quick drink after a 12+ mile walk. Service was great. Ivan the bartender was awesome! Place was empty and all to my husband and I 😊

Such a fun vibe! Christian was an attentive and friendly bartender, and Sinead wowed us with her attention to detail as our server. The kale salad totally hit the spot—and at a very reasonable price. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Already looking forward to coming back in the winter for their pizza-making classes

Yelp
We hosted a private pizza-making event for 15 people. We had the most wonderful time! The staff was great serving us! Chef Edgar was enthusiastic and so clear on his directions for making the pizzas. We also loved learning about the Italian pizza background -- especially in those beautiful ovens! The food!!!! Wow! The menu was simply perfect for our group. The toasted ravioli was delicious. The vegetables were fresh, crisp and so beautifully arranged! I took a bite of the bruschetta when my pizza was supposedly finished by me and when I tasted how delicious those cherry tomatoes were....I HAD to add those to my pizza too! The cannoli was beyond amazing and the fruit was so sweet and tasted like it was right from a summer garden (IN THE WINTER!) Wow! I had the red wine, and that was a lovely wine, too! Everyone appreciated that the ginormous tv was turned on to watch some important-to-our-group football games, too. It was also fun watching the ice skaters right outside the windows. Working with Adri was great, too, in the planning of this event. THANK YOU to Millennium Hall for making our staff event a success. We thought the price was extremely fair for the quality of the food and the service AND on top of that, we had a fun activity making pizzas!!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while visiting the ice ring with the kids. This restaurant has a great pizza and a great bar service a selection of full liquors. The service is friendly and we found the bathrooms to be clean and in good order.

Yelp
I feel like I have been living under a rock. All the times we have taken the kids ice-skating, we have never made a stop inside--until now. While waiting for our teens to get off the ice, we decided to warm up indoors. There is a beautiful full bar you can cozy up to and enjoy food and drinks while watching the skaters go by. There's also plenty of table seating inside. Hubby and I ordered a couple of draft beers from our friendly bartender and took a look at the food menu for next time. (The pizza came out and looked delicious.) I was seriously surprised by how reasonable the prices were, considering this is in a very high-traffic area, yet the restaurant felt warm, cozy, and not overcrowded.

Yelp
RE: Double Clutch Brewing Company at Millenium Hall This place has so much potential to be a 4-star or 5-star reviews. Management needs to full staff this place because every server is really giving you their best service despite their circumstances. But it's pretty obvious that this place is not staffed and stocked enough to do so. Expect long wait times, make sure to order all what you want at first, and just enjoy the vibes. I've only tried their happy hour specials (Low Rider Session IPA, Frozen Margaritas, Frozen Rosè, Lumpia, Tomato & Ricotta Bruschetta). The frozen drinks were perfect for the 90 degrees weather, the IPA was solid (not a strong IPA for those wondering about that), and the food was decent. I would come again especially knowing what to expect, but I do hope that management considers fully staffing especially during happy hours and busy days. Your people are working!

Yelp
We we're in the area for the annual Chicago Jazzfest and we looked for a close by place for a quick bite. We stopped at Millennium Hall (right below the bean - Cloudgate) and had a great experience. After we were seated, we noticed that the Yelp ratings were not that spectacular, bit these were mostly for the outdoor seating area across from the main restaurant. So we hoped that thie indoor restaurant was better. We started with the Pork and Mushroom Lumpia and quite honestly, I so not think I had better! My wife had the Sausage Pizza, my brother had the Chicken Gnocchi, and I had the with Penne in Vodka Sauce. I don't know the difference between the dinning room and the outdoor seating, but ALL the entries were outstanding. We will definitely be returning to Millennium Hall to try out more of the menu.

Yelp
Rating: 2.5/5 Was walking in Grant Park after leaving from The Bean. Was a little hungry and saw their pop-up stand. I've never had a Chicago dog and so that's what I ordered. I don't have have anything else to compare it to but I'm sure there's better around. It was okay -- decent. I didn't like that one side of the bread that had the poppy seeds was kind of hard/slightly crunchy. I'd imagine it shouldn't have been like that...

Yelp
I had no idea a full-service restaurant existed in this space until I had the opportunity to attend the Lakeshore East/Magellan Happy Hour here last Friday. Upon walking in, I provided my name to the host, and was given two free drink tickets in return. There are tables and chairs at the front of the restaurant, with a large bar area located just beyond, past a couple of short steps. In addition to seating around the curved bar, there are also a few (3-4) high-top tables in the space. For my two drinks, I opted for white wine. There were two separate varieties - the first pour was reminiscent of a chardonnay and the second had a more minerally flavor like a sauvignon blanc, although different names were provided on the menu. Current crush enjoyed his cranberry margarita (served on the rocks as he prefers) and an Oberon IPA. In addition to drinks, there was a buffet-style food station featuring Millennium Hall's signature flatbread pizzas, what looked like a pasta bake, and wings/other breaded apps (highly specific I know- LOL). The thin-crust mushroom pizza was a standout, but of course I love mushrooms. During my visit, I had a chance to chat with the owner. Originally from the Northeast, he had a vision to open a restaurant in the heart of Millennium Park that would appeal to both tourists and locals, through a variety of special events, including pizza making classes, and M-F happy hours. I can definitely see this concept working as a venue for wedding receptions and holiday parties. I will also point out that post-event, I got a follow-up email from a marketing/events manager at Millennium Hall thanking everyone for visiting and spotlighting some upcoming events. Thank you, Millennium Hall for making us feel welcome on a Fall Friday!

Yelp
The worst bar service. Told the lady bartender her old Fashion was nasty and ignored us and wouldn't serve us.

Yelp
My friend and I were walking past and we saw their board advertising happy hour and we decided to give it a try. We ordered the bruschetta and funghi pizza. The bruschetta was pretty good! I was very fresh and the crostini's were nice and crunchy. The pizza kind of took me by surprise because it was really watery for some reason and I wasn't expecting button mushrooms. It was very okay to me. I honestly feel like I wouldnt come back here again, happy hour or not.

Yelp
Great location and I like the big screen tv but the food was not good. Shrimp for ceviche was overcooked and did not taste fresh. Pizza was soggy.

Tinisha B.

Yelp
Nice place for drinks and watching the game. There are big ceiling to floor screens and a fully stocked bar. The brick ovens produced some of the most amazing smelling pizza. There's a fully stocked bar. Jose the bartender showed so much love by keeping the drinks coming and pouring up some of the most delish lemons top shots! Definitely a place to check out, the outdoor patio opens May 2023

Yelp
Went to Casa Bonita today. Was visited twice by the server to let us know both our frozen drink orders were out of service but 2 friends had already paid and squared away their check. It was nice they ran somewhere to find a replacement but then the said 2 friends left before the rest of us and the waitress said she forgot to charge them for the chips ($14) they ordered so we had to cover. Turns out the friends actually paid so we were double charged. Also they're broke and charge the 3% surcharge since they can't pay their own staff benefits and 401k's and don't tell you it's on the check. If you're broke make room for people who can afford to be there with competent servers, BYE.

Yelp
Review of Millennium Hall Restaurant. Restaurant at Millennium Park, Chicago. Visited 7/13/24. It was not so much the average food and mediocre service that my family found so distressing. It was the fact that we were charged a 3% surcharge on our bill to "help fund programs such as health insurance", and then charged an additional 20% gratuity because as a group of 4 adults and 2 kids a "20% gratuity is automatically added to all parties of six or more." We were never told about the additional 23% we were going to be charged on top of our bill by our waiter, but we were later informed that it was printed in extremely small print at the bottom right hand corner of our menu. On top of all that , when the waiter brought us the bill, we were asked to pay an additional 7% gratuity on top of the added 23% for a total of 30% gratuity asked. While I am in support of efforts to ensure the fair and competitive compensation of our very hard workers in the restaurant industry, these gratuities were not just excessive, but because they were not adequately disclosed, also very deceptive. Combined with a meal and service that was at best average, this lead to a very disappointing experience. Restaurants are really hurting themselves with a gratuity system that is out of control. Inflation has already priced out many families from the joy of eating out even occasionally. When the restaurant industry starts to believe it can add upwards of 30% to these very high prices, it makes me fear for the financial health of the hospitality industry going forward.

Yelp
Stopped in to Napolita Pizzeria to do their Neapolitan pizza making class. We found the event on chicago Bucketlisters and we weren't sure what to expect. But figured what the heck, let's check it out. I am so, so glad we did. We had a BLAST! The whole experience was extremely well done - super organized - from the instruction, to set up, drinks and the tasty little bruschetta starter. From the moment we arrived everyone was helpful, polite, fun, and professional. I had no idea the restaurant that used to be here closed (during covid) and this fantastic Neapolitan pizzeria opened in its place. They even have BEAUTIFUL black and white tiled imported pizza ovens. Anyway, a few minutes after arriving the bar was all set up we were checked in and able to get a variety of beers and wines, we were served bruschetta and then instruction started. The main instructor (I forgot his name but I believe he is british) was great! Thorough explanations and he did a great demonstration - he's a funny guy too! We then got to dig right in and stretch our dough out and pick between a white (Alfredo - ish) sauce or a simple Marzano tomato sauce, a great selection of toppings, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, salami, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, and had fantastic fresh creamy Buffalo mozzarella cheese! Once your pizza was ready you gave 1/2 of your number ticket to a member of the event staff and less than 3 minutes later - they called your number and your pizza was piping hot and ready. They had parm, red pepper flakes, truffle oil, olive oil, and I think a chili oil to finish off your masterpiece. The open bar ran for about 90 mins and they had a last call before closing the bar. I loved this event and I hope they continue to do this - i would do it again! https://bucketlisters.com/event/diy-pizza-and-sip?source=collections

Yelp
Trying to remember if I've had a worse meal in Chicago, and I cannot remember one. Service was very very slow, we sat for 10 minutes without seeing any trace of any wait staff. In fairness our bus person brought water right away. Ordered a burger, kinda simple, right? Burger was a hockey puck, even though I'd ordered it medium, clearly one of those pre-formed, industrial food service, factory style food that arrives at the kitchen in a frozen box. If that beef ever got close to the menu boast that it was Angus it must have been in a dream. Just horrible. French fries arrived barely warm and limp, hard to imagine they were anywhere other than the warmer before they hit the plate. It was a holiday weekend, so I'd normally give a little leeway for slow service, IF the place had been more than a quarter full. It's just a shame that the city cannot find a more representative restaurant for such a premium tourist location. With so many smaller, ethnic restaurants all over all our neighbor, I wish the city could put forward some of,those folks.

Yelp
Love this palce and their food! great service, lovely atmosphere and that pizza!!!! DA BEST!!

Yelp
Horrible service, rude staff. Restaurant was not busy at all, and I completely understand potentially being under staffed but not a reason to make a patron feel as though we were an inconvenience.

Yelp
I surprised my girlfriend with tickets to Napolita Pizzeria's Cooking Class for date night and just my luck, the day I booked ended up being a wet dreary one. I was worried she was going to want to pick a movie, bake some cookies and call it a night. However, when I explained we had tickets to make pizza's together while watching passersby ice skate in front of the Chicago Bean you chug a coffee, turn off the tele, and get going! The class itself was mid-sized, there was about 25-30 of us and we were all able to spread apart and have our privacy. You get two drinks each, and they let you choose any on their menu. The head chef is funny and charismatic. The process itself was easy...for most of us anyways. If you're daring enough to toss your dough in the air like a professional you won't get dirty because they give you a slick white apron. And if you're helpless like me, they don't charge you extra when you ruin your first dough and have to restart. It's worth the effortless elbow grease because in my humble opinion the pizza taste a little better when that grease is yours. The toppings were limited but the ones you do get to choose from are elite and are only enhanced when you top it off with complimentary basil and Chili oil. Make it a date night you won't regret it!

Yelp
Service was rockstar worthy. Food was outstanding. The steak and potatoes were definitely on point. Drinks were made carefully they took their time to get it right. The chef came out to check on the table Pizza was delicious.

Angelina G.

Yelp
Stopped by this place after visiting the Chicago Bean since it's conveniently located directly under it and all I can say is wow! It wasn't busy at all even though it was a Sunday afternoon. Everything was rather inexpensive and it tasted phenomenal! My first bite of the cheese tortelloni was immaculate. I enjoyed it so much that I woke up today thinking about it. The cannoli was a fun surprise because typically when you order a cannoli only one comes, however they brought out 2 on the plate which they sell for just $7! The cannoli itself was great, I've had better but this one was still tasty. Definitely will have to come back here soon!

Yelp
Ahh! This used to be Park Grill, remember that? This opened on 5/27. This has two restaurants and a brewery which includes Double Clutch Brewery, Napolita and Casa Bonita. Staff and service is excellent.

Yelp
This place gets my vote for worst service in Chicago. We were seated and then no one came to serve us, I went to the hostess stand and asked for a server, nada. Waived down a server walking past, he smiled at me, kept walking and then pointed at us to a hostess and they laughed! Stopped a lady who I assume was the manager (she wasn't wearing a t-shirt like everyone else), she said someone would come and help us. Ended up being 20 minutes after being seated before someone finally took our order. We spent the entire visit watching the exhibitor wander around from table to table carrying food asking if they had ordered it because he didn't know the table numbers. It was like the entire staff had graduated from high school on Friday and had been let loose on customers on Saturday with no training or guidance from management. Typical tourist joint, don't give a hoot about customer service because they're assuming everyone is a tourist and won't be back.

Ashley B.

Yelp
My three children had pasta. My daughter after a few bites said things were moving in her pasta. I looked over and white little worms were crawling all over her pasta. We then opened up the Parmesan cheese container and there was more white worms moving around. We got the manager and he confirmed they were probably maggots. We called the pediatrician and they said they may get food poisoning. This happened this afternoon, the manager said they would cover any hospital bills and apologized. I didn't even eat the pasta and I'm physically ill thinking about it. We immediately had to leave our day in the city and now we are waiting around to see if the kids get sick. I reported this to the heath department and will report back with any further news. Avoid this restaurant for safety concerns!!!!

Amari M.

Yelp
Best place I visited in Chicago! Martin was the best bartender/ host ever! He made sure we had great food and cocktails our whole stay. If you ever come request Martin and you will have an amazing time!

Daniela M.

Yelp
MARTIN is the best bartender that has ever served me and my friends, so kind, funny, smart, and attentive. #tomcollins forever!!! Can't wait to be back. My friends and I came three days in a row! :)

Brenda O.

Yelp
I rarely leave reviews, this is specific to Napolita Pizzeria & Wine Bar Millennium Park Restaurant which accepted reservations at 9pm a few days in advance of our reservation today. As we are seated, my husband noticed it looked like they are tearing down for the night. We order a bottle of wine, at least 10 minutes pass and the waitress says they don't have the wine we chose so we order another and our meal. Another 10ish minutes pass and she comes back with the wine and says they can't make pizza at this time (we noticed the ovens are off already). The restaurant has potential but they never should have accepted reservations and on Tock if they didn't have a full menu or staff.

Yelp
I've been to MH/Napolita 3 or 4 times, and it never disappoints. The food (from pizza to desserts) is delicious, and the staff is outstanding. Check out this "hidden gem" that's right in Millennium Park!

Janice S.

Yelp
Attended a friend's birthday party recently at Napolita Millennium Park location and they delivered another 5 star experience. Food was mouthwateringly delicious and they even projected a birthday greeting to the birthday girl on the jumbo screen! If you are thinking about hosting a special party, this is the place. There are options for pizza making parties or a full service sit down meal. The quality of the food, preparation, and presentation are top notch!

Yelp
Went for Restaurant Week 2023. Our server Laura and the food were spectacular! Started with a delicious glass of rosato and the toasted farro salad. The salad was huge and delicious. Next, the burrata. While I have had better burrata, this was a good effort and I enjoyed most of it. My friend had the fritto misto which was really good. But the star of the meal was the sirloin. Cooked to perfection to a medium rare. My friend ordered the sirloin medium and it came out medium! The seasoning on the meat was delicious as was the fingerling potatoes. Finished with pistachio gelato. Yum! The chef came out to check that everything came out ok, which was appreciated. I will be back to Millennium Hall as much as I possibly can.

Brittney G.

Yelp
One of the worst dining experiences I've had in awhile! They sat us at a table and we sat for near 30 minutes and watched a family who came in at the same time as us get their food. No one had even taken our drink order. We eventually had to talk to someone to let them know and then it was about 5 or 10 more minutes before a waiter finally showed up after they said they'd send one. My food was subpar and my family members' food was bad. We had to talk to someone too to bring a check. Our server was not friendly and was borderline rude. The meal ended up being super expensive. Weird vibes, horrible service, mid food. Don't waste your time with so many other good places to eat in Chicago!

Marc B.

Yelp
Overpriced like almost everything in the park. I had a beef OG. Taco and a shrimp Baja taco. At least I could taste the beef. The shrimp were small and might as well have not beem there as far as flavor is concerned. The servers were friendly and pleasant, but I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Courtney V.

Yelp
Worst margaritas. They don't even include a salt/sugar rim. Nice service and ambiance though.

Camila B.

Yelp
The worse restaurant at Chicago. They charged me twice and they don't want give me back my money

Yelp
This place is great and it doesn't feel like a tourist trap. Being right in the middle of Millennium Park behind the ice rink and right below the bean. The signage might be misleading but the restaurant blew us away. As soon as you walk in you can see the big pizza ovens. There were a few guys stretching dough and a little buzz around bar area. Our server was super. She greeted us and explains the whole Naples style of pizza. Of course we had to order one. It was amazing. Yet another category of pizza to chalk up as awesome. So light and flavorful. Wife had whitefish and I got the rigatoni country style. The whitefish set up was solid and the pasta maybe not as creative looking but the flavor was out of this world. We live near the park and couldn't stand Park Grill. Always felt stuffy and dirty. This spruced up space is so wide open and warm. Dodo I forget to mention their tv screens are massive that span across the entire back wall. I know where I'll be watching sports from now on. All I can say is check this place out and don't tell anyone so we can keep it to ourselves. Can't wait to get back here to explore more menu items.
