With the number of times I have been to Galveston, we would drive by this place and not realize it was a restaurant. Did a quick Google review and realize I'm missing out of some great food. Arrive early Saturday evening for dinner, was seated quickly. Got our drink order and app fairly quickly also. With help of the waiter, ended up getting the seawall platter and shrimp po boy. I ended up going with blackened shrimp and fish with Mac. It was delicious, along with the large soft roll. Wife only down side was that the po boy didn't have a remoulade sauce to go with the sandwich. Couldn't eat dinner without dessert, their award winning ganache pecan brownie with ice cream. For us there was to much ganache and chocolate sauce, but once we scrap it away and are the brownie it was pretty good. Would def recommend trying this place out if you haven't. I will come back to try other dishes the next time we're in Galveston. Another nice feature was the upstairs outdoor patio where they serve cold drinks with a great view. No need to purchase anything to check out the patio and seating.

Great location wonderful service. The food was perfect. I would like to try breakfast here next time. The location has been there since the 70s. We had a great chicken salad. I had grilled red snapper. Bread was great. Augraten potatoes are very good.

This place is a real gem in Galveston! I had the amazing corn and crab chowder and a patty melt and onion rings which were soooo good! They have been there a long time and do so much to give back to the community I'm happy to go there and have the delicious food they serve. They serve breakfast all day and next time I just have to try the biscuits and gravy!

Food was outstanding. There is a separate gluten free menu with several options. My husband said the gf french toast and the gf regular toast were delicious. Biscuits and gravy had so much sausage on it and was absolutely delicious. Be ready for a hardy homemade meal.

Miller's Seawall Grill is a fantastic casual spot right by the water — the kind of place where great food and great views come together perfectly. We started with the fried calamari, which was crispy, tender, and full of flavor — easily one of the best we’ve had. For the main course, we tried both the grilled and fried shrimp. The fried shrimp were golden and crunchy with just the right amount of seasoning. The grilled shrimp came with a generous helping of sautéed onions, which added a delicious savory-sweet flavor that I really enjoyed. The setting is relaxed and welcoming, and the view of the Gulf just adds to the experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Miller's is definitely worth a stop. Great food, friendly service, and an unbeatable view — what more could you ask for?

Y'all. If you're ever in Galveston and you like home-cooked meals, this is the place! The main way they do dinner is you choose from several entrees, and then you get to pick 2 sides. They do also have all-day breakfast and seafood. Husband ordered the gumbo, I ordered the chicken fried steak with onion rings and mashed potatoes. I was offered soup or salad with mine. When I found out they had chicken and dumplings, not knowing the size of their servings, I decided to add a cup to my order. It was AMAZING; I could taste the butter in the gravy and in the dumplings! I almost wished I had gotten that for my main dish. But then the rest of my order came. Oh. my! The chicken fried steak filled probably 3/4 of the plate, and I have never seen so many or so large onion rings for one order in my life! They were both delicious, and so was the white gravy. All legit homemade with tried and true recipes. Speaking of which, the gumbo was the best my husband ever had. And don't worry, I shared some of my food with him. Oh... did I tell you? They have IBC root beer ON TAP! The place was so unique, with beach-themed and vintage stuff all over. Our waitress was a little spicy, but not in a snarky way at all. The ONLY thing I didn't like was their dinner roll (which came with my husband's order). I expressed to her that it tasted slightly moldy or something. She assured me that they make it fresh every day. I was like, maybe do they use beer in the batter? She said no, but that perhaps I was tasting the yeast... so I guess maybe they use a lot of strongly flavored yeast. A little while later, she asked if I wanted some to go. I could tell she was being silly, so I made a face and shook my head no, to which she replied, "Okay, you're not a fan..."! 🤣 Terrific place. Go eat there if you can!

Five stars isn’t enough! My husband and I were staying at the Hilton right next door and decided to finally give Miller’s Seawall Grill a try. We’ve driven past it so many times on our trips to Galveston but never stopped in—what a mistake! This place completely exceeded our expectations. We walked in during the dinner rush, and although it was packed, we were seated in under 15 minutes. That’s impressive in itself, but what truly made our visit special was our server, Leland. From the moment we were seated, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. He recommended the grilled chicken plate, peach cobbler, and a few standout sides—and wow, he did not steer us wrong. The food was absolutely delicious. Huge portions, fresh flavors, and that cobbler? Don’t skip it. The ocean view from our table added the perfect touch, and the restaurant’s cozy yet clean and bright interior made the whole experience even better. We were so impressed that we came back the very next morning just to try the breakfast Leland had raved about—again, 10/10. This is now a must-visit spot for us whenever we’re in Galveston. Thank you, Leland, for making our experience unforgettable!

Great fried seafood - didn’t taste greasy. Flavorful. The absolute best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had. Big portions. Reasonably priced. Crappy parking lot. Friendly staff.
