The 12 Best Restaurants In Nantucket - Nantucket - The Infatuation

"Millie’s is worth the bike ride to Madaket Beach for sunset margaritas, fish tacos, and lobster quesadillas. The restaurant’s coastal dishes are heavily influenced by California cuisine, which basically just means you can get guac or queso and chips for the table along with a fresh lobster roll. They’re first come, first served before sunset, so get there early to hear a hundred or so drunk people on vacation freak out over the sun dipping into the horizon. Hit the market next door for two things before you leave: ice cream and to-go cocktail kits you can make at home." - tanya edwards

Seafood restaurant with a texmex flair. Quesadillas with lobster or scallops was delicious. Average price $26 They have 3 mini fried oyster tacos in soft tortillas if that's your thing. The best thing I tried and loved was there Street Corn. Soo good. $9.00 for 3 1/2 Cobs.

Received 2 watery, tasteless coffees. Correct change was not given since clerk said “we round up” to the customer’s disadvantage. Upon further discussion, correct change was given with multiple sarcastic comments being made by this clerk.

I’m training to walk the Camino. Millie’s is a 10 mile round trip walk from where I am staying on Nantucket. Overall, very tasty food. I had the shrimp tacos paired with a wonderful rice salad, roasted corn clam chowder and a corona. Was it worth the 50$? Anywhere else but Nantucket, I would say no. This is the land of 5.54 gal gas. I can say it was worth the 10 mile walk! Will come back again.

Great little store in Madaket! You can get a lot of essentially here and great snacks and beverages! Cora McMahon works here!

Everyone raves about the ice cream but I think it tastes like store bought, store branded ice cream. It's not bad but not amazing. The scoops are very generous though. I'd you get the ice cream on a really warm day, be prepared to eat it fast before it melts I'd you buy here, there's seating in the back. You're not allowed to sit in Millie's restaurant

Great outdoor lunch spot for groups and kids! Our daughter loved the kids salmon and we loved all of the healthy salads. Nice beer selection. Right down the street from a great beach.

Yelp
This spot used to be a real bodega years ago. While it has a few real food necessities - milk, some fruit, eggs - more than half the store is souvenirs. About 1/4 of the store is alcohol. There's some of the best ice cream on the island. This spot is handy in a pinch, especially given its location. Eat at Millies too while you're at it!

Yelp
Had a GREAT chocolate milkshake. THE best on the island. Ask for Nick, and have him put some chocolate syrup around the cup and top with whipped cream. I challenge you to find a better shake on the island, nothing comes close to Nick's masterpiece!
