Family-run since the 1990s and a frequent Honolulu Magazine honoree, Million blends nostalgia with table-grill sets, hearty soups, and meat jun. It remains a local benchmark for unfussy, satisfying Korean barbecue.

A couple of co-workers and I stopped in for lunch at the Sheridan Street location. This is a regular stop on our rotation of lunch spots whenever my co-workers have their hair cut. I almost always order the Meat Jun / BBQ Chicken plate. The serving is generous and the selection of banchan is pretty good. The service is fast and we're usually in and out in 30 minutes. It's not gourmet, just good Korean comfort food.

A smaller and family style Korean restaurant but very tasty homemade dishes. Grill Mackerel was wonderful, as well as seafood pancake. I ordered my usual beef and vegetable soup and loved it. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back again.

Most fraudulent Korean restaurant I’ve ever been to. Their “sesame oil” wasn’t it. When called out, they (with no shame) admitted it was vegetable oil. See picture for difference between real and fake sesame oil. Never coming here again and would not recommend.

On my last day visiting Hawaii I ordered takeout from Million Restaurant in Honolulu, and enjoyed the delicious meal at the airport. I tried their Meat Jun and BBQ Chicken Plate, and it turned out to be a delectable , satisfying experience—especially for a quick meal on the go. Million Restaurant is a solid choice for anyone craving flavorful Hawaiian-Korean fusion food. While I didn’t dine in, the takeout experience was excellent—quick, convenient, and high-quality. Both the Meat Jun and BBQ Chicken Plate were satisfying, but the BBQ Chicken Plate really stood out for its smoky, tender chicken and well-balanced sides. Video Review will be posted on Tik Tok and Instagram soon @Foxyappetite In depth review: Atmosphere (Takeout Experience): Although I didn’t dine in, it’s worth mentioning that Million Restaurant has a simple, local vibe, ideal for those who want a no-frills, homey meal. The restaurant itself is small and casual, which makes it perfect for quick takeout orders. I picked up my meal without a long wait, and the staff was friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. They packed everything neatly, making it easy to enjoy the food once I arrived at the airport. Service: Service for takeout was efficient and courteous. I called and made my order before picking up and given that I was in a bit of a rush to get to the airport, the food was ready on time, and the portions were generously packed. The staff’s attention to detail in ensuring that everything was properly sealed for takeout was much appreciated. Food: Meat Jun: I was pleasantly surprised by the Meat Jun, especially since takeout can sometimes affect the crispiness of fried items. The batter stayed crispy, and the beef was tender and flavorful. The marinade was a good balance of sweet and savory, though I would have liked it to be a little more pronounced in flavor. The dipping sauce was a nice touch, though it could’ve used a little more acidity or spice to elevate the overall dish. Even after the short transit time to the airport, the Meat Jun held up well and tasted fresh. BBQ Chicken : The BBQ Chicken was grilled perfectly, with a satisfying smoky flavor and a beautiful caramelized glaze from the BBQ sauce. Even though it had been packed for takeout, the chicken remained juicy and tender inside, with a nice char on the outside. The BBQ sauce itself was sweet and flavorful, though slightly on the sweeter side for my taste. The plate came with a generous portion of rice and a side of macaroni salad. The rice was perfectly steamed, and the mac salad had that creamy, tangy taste you’d expect from a good Hawaiian-style version. The portions were generous, and the entire plate was filling and well-balanced. My best friend also ordered the fried salmon, and it didn’t disappoint. The salmon was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining moist and tender on the inside. The seasoning was simple but flavorful, allowing the natural taste of the fish to shine. She was really happy with her choice and even mentioned it was one of the better fried salmon dishes she’s had in a while. Price: For the quality and portion size, Million Restaurant offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable for the generous servings you get. My takeout order was a satisfying meal that didn’t break the bank, which is a major plus, especially when traveling. It’s a good option if you’re looking for something affordable and tasty without the hassle. Overall: If you’re looking for a filling, delicious meal on the go (especially if you’re headed to the airport), Million Restaurant is definitely worth considering. The food is flavorful, the service is efficient, and the price is right. I’ll be back for sure, and I’m curious to try more of their menu next time!

We’ve been coming here for years and it’s a bit rundown. The meat quality has not gone down though but the price is a little higher than before. We got the set D which comes with premium Kalbi , beef skirt and thin cut beef. We enjoyed our dinner.

Google
Great customer service and set up for cooking your own Korean food. Unfortunately, I didn’t think that the quality of the meats were the best. I’ve had much better here in Hawaii. I really love the woman that are working here. They’re very fast and efficient and fun. I would recommend having some friends coming over here and having drinks and eating, I just don’t recommend the food

One of my fav hole in the wall places. This place has been around forever. There is limited parking in the back of the building or street parking. The service is good and fast. The food is delicious. If you are looking for fine dining, this is not the place. They can fill up quick so I recommend a reservation.

We were served burnt pancake but luckily they let us returned it and got a fresh one. We were moved from a larger table to a very smaller one and we order so much the table didn’t fit, we had to tetris the food on the table. The bossam was okay, soft tofu soup was okay (they got us the wrong dish). Would like to come back for take outs.

Yelp
If you're looking for an authentic local Korean dining experience, this is it. This restaurant serves up some of the best Korean food I've had here on Oahu. It's homey, flavorful, and made with real care. The banchan alone is reason to come. They don't just give you the basics--every small dish is fresh, well-seasoned, and plentiful. You can tell they put love into every side dish, and they're always happy to refill or pack your favorites to go. Love that they are open late too. Perfect for those late nights after work when you just don't feel like cooking.

Yelp
Million restaurant is a very good Korean restaurant. The owners are Korean and the cooks are Korean. Everything we ordered was tasty and delicious. The Kim Chee in their bonchon had more heat than at other Korean restaurants I've been to. The Galbi was tasty and marinaded perfectly. The meat was tender, not chewy with alot of ligaments running throughout the ribs. The japchae was also very good. We all liked the meat Jun which went very well with the accompanying sauce. Overall, we enjoyed our visit at Million Restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Korean cuisine, give Millions a try.

Yelp
Yang Ye Park and husband Sung Yong with their 5 children grew up in Jeonlado, a region of Korea's countryside known for cooking up delicious traditional cuisine. The family's recipes are based on this foundation, but make their own spin on the flavors. They previously were in the restaurant industry and decided they wanted to open their own restaurant. Thus, Million Restaurant was opened in 1989 in a hole-in-the-wall spot on Sheridan St. and continues to be popular, but Yang Ye Park has since retired, Sung Yong has passed away, and daughter Diana Park and the rest of the kids have taken over. On 4/11/22, the Paik Family opened Million Kapiolani, a bigger, more elegant space with private room options not available at the Sheridan St hole-in-the-wall location. The Paik Family also opened Woori Sohn Mandoo near Beretania and Punahou streets in lower Makiki in April 2024. Specializing in housemade mandoo, they sell them in takeout frozen quantities, as well as various bentos. Million Restaurant offers an extensive menu of delicious Korean bbq and noodle dishes in a casual atmosphere. The menu includes: * Soup: pollack, kim chee, beef intestine, Korean miso, chicken, short rib, ox tail, beef tendon. * Noodles: chilled soup, spicy sauce, house. * Grilled/Fried: spicy pork, kalbi, bulgogi, chicken, fish, oxtail. * Pan Broiled: pork belly, fish. * Sides: rice cake, mandoo, kim chee pancake, pig feet, egg battered beef/fish, chicken wings, cold tofu. * Yakiniku sets: seasoned meats, seafood & veggies that you can grill your own. * Lunch specials (11a to 3p only): meat jun, kalbi, bulgogi, pork/chicken cutlet, mundoo, fish, hot stone pot, buckwheat noodles. * Special plates: similar menu of lunch specials during non-lunch hours. Most meals served with shredded cabbage with dressing, rice, seaweed soup and complimentary banchan. Banchan includes: cucumber kim chee, fish cake, won bok kim chee, bean sprouts, potato salad, taegu, seaweed, and more. Additional servings of banchan are complimentary upon request. All banchan are tasty and can be an easy meal just with rice! We are usually there during lunch, so I always order my favorite lunch special of kalbi plate. Love their long lunch hours that end at 3p. The kalbi is freshly grilled in the back kitchen and is served piping hot and has the perfect kalbi taste after being marinated in Millions' special sauce. Hubby's choice is usually meat jun and bbq chicken combo, which is also grilled in the kitchen, served piping hot, and is so savory and flavorful. Portions are generous, so there are always leftovers for another meal. Excellent customer service provided by the Paik Family, who have been in the restaurant business their lifetime and are very attentive and friendly. A loud welcome greeting is happily shouted as you enter, and they quickly guide you to a vacant table, bring out the banchan and menus, take your orders, and bring out water, hot tea, rice, and soup. As your orders are quickly prepared and served, they ensure that you are adequately provided for, replenish your water, and bring out your bill for efficient processing. As you leave, they loudly thank you for your patronage and then say goodbye. What a great dining experience! Hours of operation are Sun to Thur 11a to 10p, and Fri/Sat 11a to 10:30p. Millions is housed in a warehouse-like complex with other businesses. Nothing fancy, so no ambiance, as you're here for the food. It is almost retro, as mimimum renovations have been made, as you'll see enormous smoke suction piping from the ceiling to the tables to eliminate excess smoke while grilling. While unaesthetic, it serves its purpose. Tables are appropriately placed for dining in. The interior space is clean and bright. You can enter via its front entrance on Sheridan St or the back entrance from the parking lot. There are a number of free parking stalls assigned to Millions in the private lot in the back of the restaurant. Be sure to read the signs, as the private lot is shared with other businesses, and parking may be limited during the peak lunch and dinner times. If you are parked in another business' space, your car may be towed. There is also metered and free street parking. Unless we're entertaining, the Millions on Sheridan St does its job for us! Savory and delicious food, as well as excellent customer service puts this restaurant on our lunch rotation list. Thank you to the Paik Family for their hard work in their Korean cuisine businesses in all these years with many more to come! Support local!

Yelp
Million was my first introduction to Korean Yakiniku oh so many years ago in the last century. I was definitely a fan at that time and it has been a while since I've gone back to the original. Too bad it wasn't what I remembered. Still at the same location along Sheridan St, near Kapiolani Blvd., and next to Hyung Je. There's parking in the back of the building, entering from Makaloa St. The inside still feels and looks exactly the same as 25+ years ago. Small, dank, dim-lighted, with the long, red colored booths, dark carpet (at least looks newer), and grill smoke all around (less with the overhead vents). Service is the same. You have the older, friendly mama-san that always smiles and is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like family. But you have the cold faced, middle aged one that always seems bothered or annoyed when you ask her for things or if you need an extra minute to order. The menu is the same as the one on Kapiolani sans the Wagyu meats. The prices seem to be exactly the same between the two places, which I would think the smaller Sheridan location would be a touch less, but you still get a TON of food! Be that as it may. It was a decent experience. The Banchan was excellent. Loved each one: the mashed potato salad, Kim chee, bean sprout, bean curd, and Korean spinach. Fresh, tasty, and flavorful. Let's start off with the bad (yes, bad) dishes. The Beef Tendon soup had zero flavor. No salt or any seasoning was added. Tendon was tough (no flavor got in). It was just tendon and glass noodle with scallion on top. That's it. Pass. Or ask for salt, black pepper, chili powder, sesame oil, and maybe some soy sauce and MSG. The Mool Naengmyeon suffered from very light flavor as well. Not AS bad as the soup as it had some broth flavor, but ate overall bland. The Jok-Bal was okay. This was "steamed" Sliced Pig's Feet (not braised or boiled?) per the menu. Meat had no taste and was more toothsome than I'd like. It came with raw garlic slices, lettuce, Ssamjang, and dried radish Kimchee for some ready. Where's the little salty shrimp sauce? The variety of add ons wasn't enough balance out the tasteless and tough meat. The Bibimbap was so-so. You do get a huge portion. The steel bowl is filled with bean sprouts, carrots, cucumber, cabbage, beef, an over cooked pan fried egg, and etc. with multiple small bowls of rice on the side and a bottle of bibimbap sauce. The main thing that stood out was the oiliness from the beef and too much (not the best quality) sesame oil. We went with the Set A that comes with seasoned kalbi, beef outskirt steak, brisket, Bulgogi, and shrimp. Everything was pretty good. The biggest issue was our table. 1 grill didn't work, and the other does not get hot enough to sear the raw meat to a nice char even on high. I was envious of the sizzling and smoke from the other tables. We basically just slow cooked everything. It was still good, but missing the char and smokiness loses the experience of Korean BBQ. The best part of the meal was the Seafood and Green Onion Pancake. Came out hot, crispy, tasty, fragrant, and delicious. Squid was tender and the rest of the seafood was cooked nicely. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and intimate and homey feel of Million. The food was acceptable (except the tasteless soup). It definitely could've been better prepared, and the grill could've worked properly for a much better and authentic experience. Even though, the experience wasn't up to par, I feel more comfortable and prefer here than the other location.

Yelp
It's one of the favorite go to places for Korean lunch specials because they have variety of meats and fishes choice like meat Jun, chicken, kalbi, bulgogi, mandoo, mackerel, salmon, corbina, fish Jun and some combination during lunch time. They even sell frozen Woori Sohn mandoo here. The owner works here or somehow related to here. If you come early, they make in the morning some grab and go chop chae (meatless). Somehow I love the Hawai'i Banchan Company's. On the menu is the full order with beef. The Ban Chan were good too, but there were some I like more than others. Recently I had their spicy pork and it wasn't too spicy even if you may be fooled by the red color! It was just right! The thinly sliced marinated pork belly was tasty, tender and delicious stir fried with onions. It's one of the better one I've tried! I would get this again but just can't take home to share with my mom since she doesn't eat spicy foods. My absolutely favorite is the Kalbi Jjim! Just loved the taste here or at their Milllion2 where I first had it. It's just on the pricier side but worth it. I've tried other places but I personally like Millions! They use the big bone short ribs in a sweet and savory broth. I can taste the rice wine -mirin? It's a dish you will be thinking about it for awhile afterwards! Treat yourself to a kalbi Jjim! Parking in the designated area in the back lot or metered parking in front.

Yelp
I heard a lot about Million Restaurant but never been here before, finally decided to give it a try and was really impressed. I always assumed it was more of a takeout spot, but it turns out they have a fairly large and comfortable dine-in area. Can't really tell from the outside. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I ordered the Kalbi and Min Jun combo, and it was packed with great all-around flavor. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The portions were generous, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food you get. Definitely a solid spot worth revisiting. Glad I finally checked it out! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
My first time here, although we've been to the Kapiolani location several times. I had been craving mandu guksu, but it wasn't available at the place I went to yesterday. I thought for sure Million Restaurant would have it, since they sell frozen mandu in bulk. It was early afternoon when I arrived. This location appeared clean and spacious. I asked if I could order mandu guksu. The gentleman said yes, and asked if it was to go. I said I would be eating in, so he prepared a table. As usual, the banchan came first - not too much, not too little. The soup arrived a few minutes later. I liked how big and tasty the mandu were. I ate everything and enjoyed it, including the banchan. Service was cordial and prompt.

Yelp
Saturday June 7, 2025 Last time, I was here was about 7 years ago? It still is the same good food. Metered street parking or park in the back of the building in the shared parking lot with the other businesses. Park in stalls 1, 2, 4 or LEFT of Lancer Salon. At 9:30pm. We was seated right away as only had 4 people in there. In the past, we was always seated right away or had to wait a few minutes for them to clear and clean the table. Service was friendly and fast. We ordered right away. Banchan came shortly after then our food after that. Banchan was good. My Kim Chee Stew came to the table piping hot and I had to wait awhile. When it cooled down a little. It was good. Ambiance was comfortable and casual. One day, we will back again and hopefully sooner than 7 years. Lol.

Yelp
Came here for the meat jun. several yelp reviews said this was the place to go. Absolutely The food is delicious! I can't put it into words how good it was. There's street meter parking or some parking spots for the restaurant in the back. Definitely a foodies spot.

Yelp
4.5 ONO yakiniku food!! Waitress Zoe was great! Super friendly & quick!! We ordered the yakiniku C- sub the brisket for pork belly and an order of seafood pancake. Yakiniku came with 2 rice, seaweed soup, banchan, seasoned lettuce salad. One of their banchan dish was a jelly like kimchee side. Not sure what the name was but the sauce was soooo DELICIOUS!! The Kalbi & chicken was well seasoned- so so GOOD!! The seafood pancake although it was $23 it still was REALLY REALLY GOOD!!! We dipped it in the sauce from the jelly & bruhhh...AH-MAZING!!! Everything was really GREAT!! Found this place on yelp while looking for dinner after pearl city high schools graduation. Glad we came!! We love a puka in da wall place!! Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Awesome seafood kimchi pancake! If going, get it. You will not be disappointed. Had the soft tofu soup which is also very good.

Yelp
First time we sat near the door and it was better since fresh air circulates more. Leave your nice clothes and purse in the trunk! lol Smokey Yakiniku in here! Usually we're in the left back room. Very good, fast customer service! Kalbi Tang is a winner if you like tender short ribs in their amazing broth that grandma makes! Hot Stone Bi Bim Bap is my go to fav as well. Take out is convenient as well - if you don't want to wait in line. Kamsahamnida!

Yelp
For some reason it feels like the food here tastes better than the newer location. The interior is dated and not the cleanest, but it's very popular among locals especially during dinner time. I dined here for lunch once, and saw a small to medium sized roach on the table, so I'm not sure if I wanna dine in again, but hey I can do takeout as long as it's not in my food lol. Their cold noodle soup is pretty solid, one of the best and comparable to what I had in koreatown LA before! Their galbi was also pretty decent. The tendon soup was my other favorite. The service here was nice and friendly. Takeout orders were filled promptly as well. When they're very busy, they would at least reject takeout orders which was helpful so customers can go elsewhere.

Yelp
Not the most glam location or decor, but for Korean food that my Korean-from-the-homeland mother approved of, this is a great choice. We got there for lunch shortly after opening on a Saturday. Acknowledged as we walked through the door and seated immediately. Friendly waitstaff took our order within 5 minutes and our drinks and banchan followed after that. Brother got meat jun and kalbi combo and I ordered noodles and kalbi. Value for the money was great and the food was as tasty as I remembered. Everything was seasoned well and as I mentioned, I used to bring mom here when we had time. Will have to make it a point to come back more often!

Yelp
Really tasty Korean food here. We came for lunch on a weekend, they still have lunch specials available. Ordered the man doo plate, meat jun chicken, and meat jun kalbi plates. Prices are getting up there, but it is what it is. Ban chan and rice and soup came shortly after we ordered. All good stuff - cucumber and cabbage kim chee, sprouts, jelly, and potato salad. But it changes often. We always ask for the "yakiniku sauce" which is some fruit-based puree red-ish, sweet-ish sauce; as well as sesame oil and salt. Personally I prefer this to the meat jun/man doo sauce they provide. Plates come loaded with freshly grilled or fried entrees, a huge heap of cabbage salad. We always get friendly service here. Water refilled before I need to ask. The interior is nothing to write home about, but we come for the food, not so much for the atmosphere. One of our regular go-to spots. Try the miso stew!

Yelp
A hidden gem on Sheridan Street. You may not have a million in your pocket but you'll definitely have a happier tummy from the flavorful banchan dishes to the their kalbi, soon dobu chigae (soft tofu soup), naengmyun (chilled buckwheat noodles), spicy chicken wings, bibimbap (Korean rice bowl with meat and vegetables) and gool jun (oyster fry). Everything we ate was filled with so much flavor. My favorite is their kalbi and the soon dobu chigae. I can have this everyday! The staff is friendly and our server came to our table to check on us a few times. The place isn't big but it's big enough. They have a few stalls in the back or you can find street parking.

Yelp
I come here for many years and have enjoyed their various dishes. My family come here together for their BarBQ set. One or two sets feed many. Lunch time they also have reasonable lunch specialist like meat Jun, Kalbi, seafood pancakes etc. Over the years the decor may have become a bit run down but it is still OK. Parking in the back in marked stalls. Move quickly and do not block residents parking(s)!

Yelp
As mentioned in other reviews--authentic and family run with fair prices I judge a lot of Korean places by the banchan: kimshi is excellent here and they were generous Ordered the kalbi dolsot bibimbap. Regular might be better kalbi is precut and not a lot of it. Good bit Plates have more meat Woah came with more people to try more dishes. They have a great range including pancakes and nang myeon

Yelp
Popped in last night.....and what a delight!!!! This place brings back so many great meteorites of my younger years.....partying all night, with the Millions GRIND session before heading home. So pretty much been coming here for a good 21 or so years.......haha dang kids have been born and can now drink since I first started coming here. The food is always great and comes out hot and sizzling to your order. Their sides are amazing....that run the range of all sorts of goodies you'd come to expect. Daikon, Kim Chee, fish cake, cucumber Kim Chee, etc etc......their best everyone always love is their potatoe salad. Rich and creamy goodness for the tummy. My favorite is the spicy pork, meat Jin, and kalbi. My wife and son love the cold noodle soup and mandu The servers are always polite. The inside is a little older, and not the fanciest. Oh and also tried the fried chicken last night.....crunchy and juicy deliciousness!!! Ohhhhh AND the Jap Chae is awesome.....although it's pretty expensive, haha. It's a hot cooked version with mushrooms and beef. Although I have never tried it, they also have yakiniku and you can cook your own fresh meats.

Yelp
We ordered takeout. We called in the order of the meat Jun kalbi combination as well as the cold noodles + side order of kimchi and by the time we arrived to pickup it was all ready. Portion sizes were great and the meat jun is a must try. If you're craving Korean food, this place will hit the spot. We will definitely be back

Yelp
A little hole in the wall one block mauka of Kapiolani. A handful of tables with yakiniku grills in the center. You can buy meats and veggies for the grill or choose from the various entrees. This place is known for their savory meat jun. I highly recommend the kale bi chim, slow brained kal bi beef is a flavorful tomatoe based chili soup.

Yelp
Sooooo good! This place has been around forever and never disappoints. There is street parking available and many tables able to hold large groups. We orders a couple of the combo meals plus additions soft tofu soup, meat jyung and bibimbop. Everything was delicious and the service is incredible. They were always checking on refills on sides, water, tea etc..

Yelp
This is my second time coming here, first was take out love the food, been a long time and second time we are dining in. Service was really great all Banchan was made in restaurant, food was delicious even though I haven't been here for 2 years the food is still the same. I gets pack really fast, it was a full house by the time I left. It's the same as you go to Gen, they have the grill if you order the set menu will try that next time. As I said you have several Banchan with your food you will be stuff by the time you leave this place. Very friendly all ages comes and go in this store, we have some family's and elders having lunch and group of friends too, it was lively. Come check it out won't recommend anything since all of the food has been good for the last few times I came here.

Yelp
This is still my favorite yakiniku place. I returned here with my husband and friends since 2017. This past weekend in March 2025, the seats and upholstery look unchanged. Not loud and no club vibe, just a pleasant place to eat and you don't have to shout to be heard. I highly recommend this down to earth Korean restaurant! Attentive service, the host and waitress refilled our drinks and checked on us. Plenty of booth seating. They did well with the overhead vents and invested into their customer service and food presentation. If they find the time to upgrade some of their torn seats, they'd be super fine.

Yelp
Good Korean food in honolulu. Located near Walmart. I prefer going to this location to the fancier more expensive location on Kapiolani. Potato salad is excellent as well as their cold noodles

Yelp
Hidden behind busy Keeamoku street is one of the family of Korean Restaurants with amazing food and tons of seating. We walked so we didn't use the parking stalls in the back of the restaurant reserved for Millions. Here's what we ordered: Mandoo: generous and overfilled pockets of pork and veggies fried to perfection. (Fun fact: their sister restaurant is located on Beretania and Punahou under the senior housing where they sell bulk mandoo frozen or made to order ) Kalbi and BBQ chicken: Cooked to perfection with a little bit of char but not enough to ruin the flavors. Meat was tender and very flavorful. Meat jhun: prepared very well with a nice piece of meat inside and the egg batter outside. The dipping sauce complimented it well. Sides: Bean sprouts, Kim Chee, cucumbers, potato salad, and spicy mochi/jello (I can hear my Korean bestie yelling at me that I am not getting the name right) all were amazing. Service: top notch. Treated us like family. So glad this restaurant is here. Now to finish dinner. It was packed tonight. Come by and keep this place open!

Yelp
I love that they have KBBQ combo for 2 that have both beef and pork. Their sauces are always on point and banchans really take you back to Korea. Million is now my go to for KBBQ and service has always been great.

Yelp
Went here with my dad and mom and went there a lot after . My Dad and I declared that they have the best meat jun. Idk what it is but there's something about it. Dad also ended the meal with some Tapioca dessert. The lady always treats us so nice when we went.

Yelp
Was craving some korean and decided to try this place out. Did a phone order for a quick pickup. I wasn't sure where to park so I just dropped my friend off and they ran to go get the food quickly while I went around the block. The food was quite good and had good flavor! We got the meat jun and spicy work. The meat jun was really good and wasn't oily. The spicy pork was also good and was sort of soupy, which is enjoyed. Only thing is the spicy pork didn't come with any rice, but the meat jun did. If i'm in the area again, I will stop by again!

Yelp
We were craving some authentic Korean food and not the typical mixed plate variety. This place nailed it. Great kimchi jigae, doenjang jigae and sot Bap. The winner really was the doenjang jigae. From your new mainland customer... oh yeah the naengmyun was amazing too

Yelp
Food was very tasty. Service great. The food comes out pretty fast. The inside is very airy and roomy. It's a big place and there are side rooms for parties. We've only eaten here three times for lunch after Zumba. I've had the kimchi soup lunch special. It was yummy, very tasty and not too spicy hot. It was served in a hotpot as well so the soup stays hot!

Yelp
The meatjun and bbq chicken is my go to when I come here to dine in, the owner and her son/nephew are very friendly and attentive as they are our server. When I walk in here, it feels like I'm in a real Korean vibe restaurant even though I've never personally been to Korea myself, but I do watch lots of videos involving their culture. This is the spot I recommend if you really want amazing meatjun.

Yelp
This place looks the same after all these years. We usually get take out monthly or close to it. Tonight my son got his usual BBQ Chicken and Meat Jun, I got Meat Jun and my Daughter in-law got the mandoo soup. I think she wants to try all of their soup dishes now. The ban chan is so good! I love their potato salad!

Yelp
THE OG of Korean food. Easy parking outside but keep in mind it shares with the other businesses. Worse case there's street parking. Booth seating inside and ambience is not your typical upscale or super clean spot. Hahah Service was normal no issues at all. Food: Meat jun, ample refillable banchan dishes, kalbi short ribs, seafood pancake, etc.

Yelp
I love their spicy beef intestines and tendons soup (Nae Jang Tang). The selection of banchan dishes is very good and they are generous with refilling them if you want more. I usually tell the server that I prefer to have only the spicy side dishes. The servers are very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
I ordered the set: 2 Naengmyeon 1 Galbi. In one of the naengmyeon was a big cockroach. Only noticed after I finished eating the whole dish. The set cost $40 and they only refunded $10. Disgusting.

Yelp
We went about 10pm seeking a place for soju and "anju." What a great place for it. Mandu was very tasty. Kimchi was ripe and yummy for mandu. The jigae was so flavorful and perfect with rice. The bahn chans were tasty too, so definitely need to come back to try their other dishes. Service was very good. Server was very informative and friendly.

Yelp
"Slice-of-life it is. Yes. It almost veered toward thriller, but you're the slice-of-my-life type." - K-Drama I've passed Million a million times in my life, but as far as I know never stepped in once. Million Restaurant is located on Sheridan St. in the older part of the area. It's been here what seems like a million years. I finally decided to visit between meetings. Shoutout to Traci R. & Jisoo, my IRL homies, for the nudge. You don't have to be a millionaire or look like Thurston Howl III to enter... all you need is a good attitude, have a big appetite, and be willing to smell like KBBQ an hour after your meal. Plus, Jisoo is hundred Korean so when she told me to go... since I'm into Meat Jun! I Go! I actually was at Ala Moana Center zooming calls when it was time for lunch, so I just walked a couple blocks and Million Restaurant is still there between discount cigarette stores, former strip clubs, and a kennel! Yup! This has to be legitimate or my Korean friends have some explaining to do. I enter the Disco era, but clean, restaurant. I am greeted and seated towards the entrance which is actually a good spot to smell less like KBBQ after my meal :D Menu handed over. I came in for the Lunch Specials and that's exactly what I got. Instead of only getting the Meat Jun, I decided on the Combo of Meat Jun & BBQ Chicken. All Combos and Main Dishes come with Banchan, a generous amount of Banchan (side dishes) I may add! Banchan comes out first with Miyeok (Seaweed Soup). Oh K-Boy! That Potato Salad tho! Oh! Auntie gave me extras since "I'm a growing boy!" :D And minutes later the Combo of Meat Jun & BBQ Chicken is staring at me! Oh my! I can tell I'll be dreaming of K-Dramas all week after this lunch! One bite of the Meat Jun made me a believer that Million has the best Meat Jun in Honolulu! So generous, so flavorful, so "Hawaii Koreans Only" authentic! K-appetite satisfied! Bam! In the end, I recommend Million Restaurant if hankering for some Korean comfort foods! There's a sister location on Kapiolani now, but tho it's more modern the prices reflect the upgrade too. Im okay with the original Million w/ family friendly employees, I mean even Grandma spoke fluent Korean to me! Hella and I only know how to say I love you 사랑해요 "saranghaeyo" ahh so that's why she smiling ;D Thanks to Traci R. & Jisoo for leading me here. And dedicated to my bestie, Kyra K. cause she got Seoul!

Yelp
Meat Jun! Generous portions and so good! Had the combo plate tonight with..... meat jun and fish jun. I also ordered the Sondubu. It came with different banchan, rice and a small bowl of seaweed soup. The meat jun is so tender and packed with so much flavor. Portion was generous. Fish jun was also tasty and portion was also generous. It was also served with a side of shredded cabbage topped with a dollop of dressing. Service quick, attentive as they have several staff assisting. Order taken, banchan brought out and food followed about 10 minutes later. Perfect! If your looking for a fancy dinning experience, this is NOT your place. It's a no frills place filled with people that love this place for its nostalgia. This location is the original. They have a location on Kapiolani Blvd which is newer.

Yelp
service is great. Was greeting pleasantly and seated quickly. Menu options are standard local and traditional Korean dishes. Prices are on the higher end but the quality and quantity of what we were given was great! Parked outside (metered street parking) and wasn't very confident leaving my car there as there was a lot of broken glass in the area. Not ideal parking situation but didn't want to risk parking in private lot across the street. There is a public parking just off of Piikoi and around the block from the restaurant. Looking forward to returning.

Yelp
One of my co-workers wanted soup (and to visit Sam's Club) so we ended up at Million, on Sheridan. Parking is usually a challenge but he found a spot right across from the entrance. We wound our way through the restaurant to a table at the Kapiolani end. Galbi / Kimchi chigae for him; Spicy Squid over rice for another and Chicken / Meat Jun Combo for me. There were four kinds of banchan (kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumber kimchi and the whitish, gelatinous Nokdu-muk). The food comes pretty quickly and is fine ... not special, but then, neither is the price. My only quibble with my order was I don't like the Thousand Island dressing on the cabbage slaw. Otherwise, my plate had more than chicken and meat jun to satisfy me. The spicy squid dish looked tasty but my co-worker would have preferred (udon) noodles instead of the rice. Each lunch was $15.95 or $16.95; reasonable in today's inflationary economy.

Yelp
The food never fails to disappoint whether you're cooking yourself or have a prepared plate delivers. So flavorful!!! And the service is 5 star professional and yet you feel like family. No matter how busy they are they are so attentive. Each person in the restaurant comes with kindness to the table! That's a treat! Can't go wrong here! Oh! And they have extra goodies you can purchase on your way out the door for home. Delicious side dishes. We especially love the Taegu, Beansprouts and of ours the Kim Chee!!!!!!
