We came here randomly and it’s a cute gem in the cut. Very low key and such a vibe. Loved the wine recommendations. Wasn’t too busy and the space is super cozy specially upstairs. Service was great, but with the small space I can see it getting busy. Street parking so if it’s busy that can be a little tough but would definitely recommend!

Google
Beautiful space. Aesthetic has so much character but is so clean feeling at same time. So many places to sit - bar, tables (high top and low) and very comfy chairs. We had so much fun we just kept ordering! Cheese plates are massive.

I want to start by saying the atmosphere and service were amazing!! If you’re going for just drinks I highly recommend. However when it comes to the food, we ordered the fondue and paid extra for THREE people to eat as well as the meat add on, and this what we received. I don’t think my toddler could even be satisfied off this small ration. The total for the fondue alone was $50. That is just blasphemy to me. Wish I could’ve given 5 stars.

If you want the perfect space for a gathering with your people, this is it! Great aesthetics, wonderful staff, high quality food and wine is the theme here. Choose from flights, glasses or whole bottles of wine. The menu is vast and sure to please all palates. Make it a top-notch experience by ordering a charcuterie board.

Google
Visiting from Montana and we were granted a wonderful time, especially due to the attendance and care from our waiter, William. They ensured we felt welcomed, even with my 16mo old son, who always makes me a bit nervous in nicer establishments. Thank you!

Wow. The sommelier is one of the sweetest, most approachable people I've ever had the joy of interacting with. I told him that my husband and I were very much wine novices, that we were hoping to stay under $60 for a bottle, and that we we like smooth reds. He gave us a syrah within our budget that was very fruit-forward but surprisingly smooth and told us that a good term for us to know is "jammy." I'll definitely be back!

I’m officially obsessed with Milly’s Wine Bar and will be finding any and all excuses to come here. The wine pairings were amazing, the bruschetta and rocketer flat beard were insane. And don’t even get me started on the service! Tanner was amazing and so so so knowledgeable on the wine. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a wonderful time at Milly’s! The decor is quaint but comfortable with lots of Mucha artwork on the walls and a stocked bookcase at the front. There is a 2nd floor and I was pleased to see they have an elevator for accessibility. I even chose 2 mystery wine challenges from the menu- the Find Ron Burgundy and the Guns and Rosé challenge. What a fun and unique idea! And not to brag or anything but I won both and was awarded a button. 😎 The whipped ricotta was okay. The chocolate mousse was very good. The deviled eggs were incredible- I am a deviled egg expert and these are among the best I’ve ever had! The prices are decent for a wine bar- one of my wines was a delicious Granache at $9 a glass and all of our food items were $10 or under. Bonus points for serving the check within a book- the passage that was marked in our particular book seemed fitting to the current theme of my life so it was very cool to read through it a bit and now I must buy a copy! Our server was great, I was asking a lot about wine and engaging about the mystery challenges and he was friendly and fun. The wines were all simply delicious! I will definitely revisit on a Wednesday for their wine discount and a veggie sandwich!

Yelp
I've been here a few times now, and I always really enjoy their menu and service. I like that they always have a few flights to choose from, and a happy hour wine of the day. Their flatbread pizza is good, but fair small. I'd say the menu is more for small bites and sharing. Parking is limited and you'd have to likely find paid street parking, but that's never been an issue for the guests I've met up with. I've never needed a reservation so far, but it does get quite busy in the evenings so I'd recommend making one.

Ali B.

Yelp
Milly's wine bar is so darling. I have been wanting to go ever since before they opened and it was truly worth the wait. They have two floors of seating and lots of cozy spaces. I went with a girlfriend and we were seated upstairs at a small table. Our server was so friendly and guided us through their robust wine menu, ultimately helping us settle on wines that we ended up loving! I got two glasses of the Riesling and it was one of the best I've had. We also ordered small bites, including the burrata plate, Caesar salad with chicken, and chocolate mousse. The food took an unusually long time to arrive and the Caesar was lacking in dressing and the chicken was a bit overdone. The burrata and mousse were fabulous! I think there's opportunity for improvement in the kitchen but not a major detractor. I can't wait to return asap!!

Yelp
Loved, loved, loved this place! The perfect spot to meet up for drinks and appetizers. I met up with a friend after work and sat out at their little patio in back. We ordered deviled eggs, bacon wrapped figs and bruschetta and ALL of them were amazing. I ordered the "Fight Kiwi Fight" which comes with two different glasses of Sauvignon Blanc from the smoking region of Marlborough. One of the wines scored 93 from the reputable Tasting Panel Magazine & the other was an unrated selection picked by their Sommelier. They were both wonderful! I'd recommend sitting inside as it's very well decorated and beautiful. The outside is also nice for some fresh air but the space is limited and the ground in some spots is a bit uneven. Service was great! Very knowledgeable & helpful when it came to ordering drinks!

Angela L.

Yelp
It was date night and my boyfriend wanted to bring me to this adorable wine bar. They have a cute patio outback and inside there are two levels of seating. Main seating is where we were and it was a little small but they definitely utilize the space well. You do not feel like you're sitting on top of other people which is great. The decor is also super cute. You can get wine by the glass or by the bottle, but I thought it was super fun that they had unique named wine battles where you get two glasses of wine to compare. The menu is also a little unique, but everything we ordered had great flavor. I would definitely revisit here. It is in Minneapolis so be prepared to park and maybe walk a little bit. And they do take reservations, which you may want to do on a weekend

Michaela S.

Yelp
The service was amazing, fun, and great with explaining the wine selections. Perfect venue for a date or girls night. The wine was fun, different and delectable. The menu is every charcuterie lovers dream come true. Highly recommend visiting

Anna T.

Yelp
This wine bar is adorable!!! It was absolutely perfect for our girls night for two! We went after work on a week night and both felt lucky to find street parking which you just pay for on the msp parking app. We sat in a cozy, cute corner in the upstairs area we started off with our own glasses of wine then ended up ordering a bottle of the orange wine for the table. It was my first time having orange wine and I now I'm obsessed! We accompanied our wine with a meat and cheese board with warm marinated olives and ended with a mini dessert platter. The upstairs was my favorite as it's very cutely decorated! It was also a relaxing space to hang out with a friend. Our server was so knowledgeable, friendly and had great recommendations. I'll definitely be coming back either for a date night or with friends! Milly's is now one of my new favorite spots!

Sydney S.

Yelp
What a beautiful hidden gem of a spot! Stopped here on a girls night for a late night snack and night-cap and I think I found a new favorite spot downtown. The vibe is light an airy, perfect to rent out if you have a bridal or baby shower. Definitely on the 'girly' side but there were plenty of men here! The staff here are also wonderful, great at helping you make choices and take care of your dining experience. Also love the unique-ness of their little wine-battles - where you're served two glasses and you have to guess which is which from the menu, the prize is a glass of dessert wine! I had a delicious chardonnay to top off the night - plus the food was great. Definitely recommend the french onion flatbread!

Calli T.

Yelp
I was finally able to cross Milly's off of my bucket list of places to try in the Twin Cities! I went with a friend after Art-A-Whirl and it was the best way to end a girls day. The staff was welcoming and attentive from the second we entered. The space was very cute and airy. There is a small patio out back and multiple levels of indoor seating. We sat on the second floor inside, which seemed to be more lively than the the first floor. In addition to wine, we got the charcuterie and cheese board. The charcuterie board was perfection and ended up being just the right amount of food for two. The staff was helpful in accommodating a nut allergy and leaving nuts off of the board. I can't wait to come back! I would highly recommend Milly's for a wine night with the girls, or a date night.

Janine W.

Yelp
Loved everything!!! The food, the staff, the atmosphere.... absolutely everything about it. Every time I come to Minneapolis I make sure I go to Milly's at least once if not twice

Tiana D.

Yelp
A great place for a glass of wine or two on a rainy Sunday! Stopped in with a friend without a reservation and sat on the lower level as there was an event going on upstairs. The space is beautiful and airy, with old books as decorations. There is a great selection of wine. I like the options where you get two half pours and guess which is which! Really fun and definitely a unique experience. Our server didn't seem super knowledgeable about the wines overall. There was also a mix up with our food. I think our order wasn't put in right away - we had multiple people swing by to confirm the order.

Ellie H.

Yelp
I recently had the opportunity to visit Milly's wine bar and bistro for the first time for a friend's birthday. I opted for a non-alcoholic shrub & soda. Sometimes when I opt for a non-alcoholic drink, I end up being disappointed by the lack of flavor. Not so! I was pleasantly surprised when I enjoyed the drink regardless. The atmosphere is great-- it's quiet, classy, and refined. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful with recommendations, nobody in our group was disappointed by the wine they ended up with. Charcuterie boards were delicious as well.

Kavitha P.

Yelp
Another win for Millys! This time for Valentine's Day! They actually knocked it out of the park Was a little apprehensive about what the food pairings would be like as it's not an actual "restaurant " but I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food that was presented and the wine pairings were of course perfection by Timothy their Sommelier! The place was sold out for the special day and nicely decorated, service was on point as usual. Shout out to Tanner who is a very friendly and genuine server!! I would be happy to do this special event again in the future ,my only negative would be to add the actual wines that were paired listed on the menu so that if you liked something you would know what to order again. Also for $1.50 parking walking distance on the street is a steal in Minneapolis these days!! Love Milly's just wished I lived closer so it could be my local hangout!!!

Rachel K.

Yelp
Great place! Ambiance is lighter, more daytime affair in my opinion. The wine selection is fun. It is not like a typical wine bar where you can try a flight of 4 wines for a better price, you can compare 2 half glasses of similar wines for the price of one ~$15. Cute date night!

Gordon L.

Yelp
Such a cute spot! The wines are great and they have a good variety. The servers were attentive. As for the food options, not much that I enjoyed. We did try a couple of the cheese boards, crab cakes, and some sandwiches. The crab cakes were pretty good.

Lana T.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE Milly's. The ambiance is stunning with such cute aesthetics. Downstairs is so modern and bright while upstairs is cozy and comfy. The service I've received at Milly's has always been 10/10. They always help me choose the right wine and never make me feel stupid for asking questions. This is the type of place where you can come by yourself, sit at the bar and feel 100% comfortable. Milly's is a wonderful addition to the Mill District. For faves: I absolutely love the Riesling and the orange wine. For first timers definitely order the "Fight Kiwi Fight" it's a fun and interactive guessing game that makes you rely on your taste buds. ALSO. They have parking! HUGE win for a downtown place.

Anna W.

Yelp
Milly's is so cute and the perfect vibe for Saturday night. The staff were very attentive. The space is small so I'd highly recommend making a reservation. both my moscato & wine spritz were wonderful! It was easy to find street parking as well.

Emily H.

Yelp
I spent my birthday here and was not disappointed. This spot is the best wine bar in Minnesota, hands down! They have a variety of blind tastings, unique selection of wines to pick from and their food pairs perfectly with wine! We loved their deviled eggs so much, we ordered more! The space is decorated modern while still exposing and preserving the old look of the building. They made space for our group of 10 but also had great seating for smaller groups too! This is going to be a staple in my rotation!

Emily B.

Yelp
We went to their brunch soft opening. Thanks to Milly's for the invite! I really liked the ambiance of this place. It would be perfect as a happy hour spot, girls brunch, or for date night. We didn't go upstairs, but the main floor was a delight. They also have a small patio out back. I love to see more places like this popping up downtown. It's about time! We enjoyed most everything we ate which included lox on a half bagel with cream cheese, four mini croissants (which we shared and were good but we wished we'd known there was only one of each flavor), a mini quiche (souffle?) with a side salad, and drinks! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the yogurt with fruit and granola. It needed just a tiny bit of a honey and was too big for me. That being said, everything else was pretty light so order at least two things. Service was great. The drinks were good. Think wines, bubbly, and champagne. I appreciated that they had many N.A. options as well. Street parking.

Maren S.

Yelp
The best service we've experienced in the last year! Amazing staff, great food, and a fun selection of wine. Highly recommend for date or gals night.

Ellie B.

Yelp
What a great neighborhood spot!!! Super cute ambiance, ample seating, great wine list, yummy food, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? This is the perfect place to start or end the night (or as the main destination)!

Mezan G.

Yelp
Love this wine bar! Ambiance is so beautiful and relaxing. Plenty of seating and very cozy. Love the lights and colors. The service was great! They have a variety of wines that are so unique and delicious.

Kysa M.

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience at Milly's! It's a really cool place with a interiors that feel inviting, modern, and comfortable. There are lots of great tables to sit at inside on the street level, and if you go upstairs there is a really nice couch sitting by a fireplace, and tables along the windows with great views of the city. They have such a fun menu with many unique wines, and I'm excited to come back and try more of them. I loved their orange wine! They have a nice food menu as well with lots of great wine pairings and foods to snack on while you sip. Service is 10/10. The sommeliers are very knowledgeable and talented at what they do!

Sara B.

Yelp
Rose was very tasty and super cute interior with kind staff. Both levels were nice. Bread was meh.

Alicia L.

Yelp
So glad to have a new wine bar around! I went with a friend and we each had 2 glasses of wine and split a cheese board. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the service was a little slow, though we did go very soon after they opened so it was understandable. The vibe was super cute and they even have an outdoor space which would be lovely in the summer. The staff was very knowledgeable and they had a very unique thing on the menu which I got: half pours of two different Sauvignon Blancs, one of which had won awards and is 2x the price, but they have you guess which is which!

Alice M.

Yelp
Milly's has a great vibe! There is a downstairs bar area, a small patio, and an upstairs with a chic living room setting. The staff is friendly and attentive and they have a few fun games where you order a flight of wines and play a guessing game about which is which (fancy vs not or different red varietals, for example). The food options are somewhat limited but the charcuterie and cheese plates I tried were tasty and good happy hour fare. I would go back!

Emilee J.

Yelp
SO unbelievably impressed by this 'new' spot in MPLS. The before & afters are astounding and the interior design and ambiance is one of the best we've experienced in months of dining. The service was 5 star - so knowledgeable, kind & personalized. The place was BUZZING on a Thursday night with all kinds of diners (couples, friends, happy hour co-workers, etc.) I cannot recommend enough or be more excited to have such a wonderful wine bar addition in our city - so unbelievably needed! The charcuterie board was top notch and so was the salad.

Mark M.

Yelp
Every bit as charming as the hype would have it. Informal atmosphere in a craftily-designed space. Nicely curated wine list -- not huge, mostly focusing on moderately priced offerings from all corners of the world, with varied cheese and charcuterie boards plus some other grape-friendly foods. Excellent service.

Bill P.

Yelp
First visit and will certainly be back. Rare to find a space in Mpls that has such a thoughtful and comforting space but backs it up with great wine , small plates, and professional servers. Felt genuine and great for a getaway. Creative wine parings, and knowledgeable staff. We had the Mediterranean charcuterie and French Somm board. Both creative but more important tasted great One of the better French dips I have had and glad we had the bacon wrapped figs. All in all great spot and can't go wrong.

Tori S.

Yelp
Visited Milly's as part of a girls night. The venue is really clean and pretty. Our group tried the different flights and some miscellaneous glasses of wine (all delightful). For food we ordered bruschetta and a cheese plate. they were both decent tasting plates, but not enough to fill out. Service switched from really great to us having to track someone down to pay our bill. The worst part about this place is the pricing. 2.5 glasses of wine and light snacks will set you aside $50 person, Street parking is available and wasn't hard to find.

Jacob B.

Yelp
Comprensive menu with a wide ranging selection of wines. The staff is very helpful and the venue itself is enjoyable to inhabit.

David B.

Yelp
Sat at the wine bar, hung for about three hours. Service was great, told us not to hurry, kept filling water glasses, good tip on wine selection. First time here, will go back.

Amber S.

Yelp
We visited Milly's during a soft opening. They were working through a few kinks with music and bottles of wine still being in transit to the restaurant, but that's to be expected. The space itself is awesome - modern decor, lots of room for seating, and one bar on each floor. The staff were awesome. The sommelier recommended a great wine based off the preferences from my husband and I. It was fruit forward without being too sweet and really opened up as we sat and talked. We didn't try any of their food, but saw a lot of people ordering the cheese boards and small plates that they offered. The grilled cheese plate caught my eye and if we wouldn't have been on our way to dinner, I would have ordered it! Overall, it was impressive how far along they are for not even being open and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a visit and I am excited to see their wine collection continue to grow!

Kaylie B.

Yelp
Would definitely recommend! Super cute wine bar that just opened up near the stone arch bridge. The service was 10/10! From the moment we entered we were greeted and showed the best service! There was our server, the local sommelier, and the owner who all stopped by to check on us throughout our visit. All very knowledgeable about the different wines. I had the Kiwi fight night, which was 2 half pours of different Sauvignon Blancs and I had to guess which one was the favorite in New Zealand and which was the sommelier's choice. It was such a fun experience! Will be going back!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Such a cute spot! Modern decor with exposed brick and beautiful plants. Though there's seating up and downstairs, it's still a small place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I don't know a whole lot about wine. I asked questions and was able to try two wines I enjoyed. When you sit (self seating) you're brought a wine menu and a food menu. The wine menu has white wines on one side and red on the other. There are light options for food. We selected the combo board with meat and cheese to share. It was tasty, but not much on it. Also, there is different things depending who makes it. The table next to use also order the combo board. It was different than ours. Nice place to have drinks and a snack to catch up with friends.

Emilee K.

Yelp
We came here for a birthday celebration! It was perfect! The service was amazing and super helpful. Wine was tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Paige M.

Yelp
They have a sommelier that will come around and give you a wine recommendation. Food was pretty good too, we got the burratta hot honey bruschetta and one of their flatbreads that were pretty decent. Nothing crazy. More fun for the wine.

Casey E.

Yelp
Stopped by Milly's for a soft opening earlier this month. First off, the place is adorable outside and in. The first floor is bright and airy with a really modern feel. The upstairs is more cozy with plenty of comfy chairs and a fireplace. Looking forward to spending a Sunday afternoon here in the fall. The wine was excellent. I had a delicious Cremant, Sauv Blanc and Langhe Rosso. All really solid. The cheese boards that came with the wine were awesome. I really liked the aged parm wedges. The folks working there were really nice. The manager was really pleasant and chatty (in a good way) and the sommelier knew his stuff and listened to what we want. Definitely worth checking out! Glad we have a spot like this in the neighborhood.

Charlie P.

Yelp
We appreciate how they are continuing to expand, now adding food, brunch, and outside seating. They are increasing their wine selection as well. I would love to have wine flight options! It is super cute inside, first come first serve. There are 2 levels with an elevator. It is stroller friendly. The servers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to offer guidance

Trevor S.

Yelp
Love having Molly's as our neighborhood wine bar! Food is fantastic, and the wine selection is phenomenal! Service is just icing on the cake, and always makes us feel taken care of.

Erica B.

Yelp
Visited family in Minnesota recently and my cousins treated me to this wine bar and it was super cute! We had a few somm boards and added meat. The wine and food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy! Service was awesome! Great experience!

Alice S.

Yelp
When is a wine bar more than just a wine bar? When it's Milly's and they serve you 2 glasses of wine and you get to guess which one is which. The prize is just bragging rights, but it's so much fun! Their wine list is extensive and amazing, and the servers are amazingly knowledgeable about them. The food is delicious too: mezze, flatbreads, charcuterie. The ambiance is just lovely. This is a must-try!

Jason B.

Yelp
I've never been one to dress up. I live in sweatpants and a sweatshirt. I thought the environment would be very different and didn't want to go when invited. I was wrong; all types of people were there. Some reading, on a date, happy hour, and learning about wine like me. It's hard to order when you don't know what you like. The staff did an incredible job not only making me feel comfortable but also educating me on what the difference was and how it affected the flavor. The food was terrific. If you're new to wine or have a sophisticated taste, this is your place!

Tanya P.

Yelp
This place was amazing! The ambiance was fantastic and there were so many cozy places to sit. Emily was the best server. She was knowledgeable, so friendly, and answered all of my questions! I had the kiwi fight, Lambrusco, and the combo board and would highly recommend all of them!

Lisa E.

Yelp
This is a fantastic place to gather. The women of my company went for Int'l Women's day and it was fabulous! The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable! The wine and wonderful! And the ambiance is moody and appropriate!

Maggie M.

Yelp
We were there for a private event held upstairs. The food was fantastic and the drink selection was great. They had NA options available as well. The custom menus were a nice touch. The service team they had working the event was really efficient and worked well together.

Maggie S.

Yelp
Three of us had a lovely evening. We were shown to a lovely table in a corner window. Food was awesome. Wine was lovely. Will definitely be back.

Anton D.

Yelp
First time here, three of us celebrating a birthday on a Saturday night. Arrived about 6.30 no reservations , it was about two thirds full. Two levels, we went upstairs and were lucky enough to secure a small table that was just being cleared, overlooking Washington Ave. Service was super friendly and prompt and we were welcomed and chatted up by the very unpretentious sommelier. A very fun wine by the glass menu that described each wine in very fun ways. Prices weren't bad. I enquired about the bottles on the menu and the sommelier focused on the wines that were best value. He ended up recommending a Bordeaux that he said was delicious of which he only has a couple of bottles left. We ordered the recommended charcuterie board to go with it. It was all wonderful and the service was attentive but not over bearing. Great ambience, gas fireplace, no music, so good for conversation - a real mix of ages although primarily female and couples. Good lighting (you can actually see). Also treated to complimentary dessert wine and chocolate since we were celebrating a birthday. We signed up for their newsletter (being developed)- they will have themed menus and wines. A great bottle of wine, charcuterie, complimentary chocolates and dessert wine all for $108. It was a a very pleasant evening we were there for two hours and I certainly would go back. Street meter parking (cost $1) , although their website says they have a parking lot. There is beer available for non wine drinkers. The dessert menu looked good too. Most people dressed up a little but if you wanted to be casual that would be fine.

Nicky B.

Yelp
Amazing service and wine, even on a busy concert night we were welcomed in and taken care of

Dylan A.

Yelp
Their patio is super charming on a nice day. My wife and I also really appreciated talking to the sommelier, who was super helpful. The selection was fantastic, and the prices were reasonable!
