If you go during the day don't go in a rush, they only keep on server and one cook on day shifts. It's more on the pricey side, but some portions are pretty decent. There are only 8 serving tables inside the main entrance, for spacing restrictions. If I'm not in the area again I wouldn't come back. Bill was a little over $60 w/a glass of wine.

Great atmosphere, service and food. I had the French Kiss and definitely one of the best French dips ever. The meat was tender and delicious. Sangria was really good. Definitely made with good wine.

If your ready to sit and enjoy yourself day or evening, try Milos in Boulder. Just a few minutes past Henderson, you can have a great lunch or try their evening special. The portions are great but not overbearing. The staff are courteous and friendly.. The restaurant also is community friendly helping the folks in need. The gentleman in our photo eats there daily for free. Its a wonderful owner in deed. Lets support his kindness with your business! Tip the waitresses good too!

This has much more potential to be an amazing venue. Cute set up in heart of historic downtown. Wine and beer selections are nice, but overall pretty non exciting and pedestrian. Prices are decent for reataurant diners, too expensive for take away. Food menu had large and ample portions, but majority of menu is appetizers and sandwiches. Someone who orders a nice bottle of wine will want to eat dinner with a fork and knife. Service was friendly, but too casual for my taste. Will defintely be back as still best option for Boulder City. But venue needs some refreshing, retraining and maintenance.

We visited on 31 December 2021 and had the worst experience. Our waiter didn't know a thing about the menu. He had to read my menu and still didn't know what the items were. He said he was going to ask someone but I don't think he really did. As a result we ended up with a charcuterie board none of us enjoyed. He identified a meat in the board as Canadian Bacon and when I asked another employee he told us it was Capicola. Three of the four orders came out wrong. He brought out potato chips instead of potato salad. The other order he brought out macaroni salad instead of couscous. The spread on two of our sandwiches were supposed to be on the side and it wasn't. Two of the sandwiches didn't have the brie on it. We were charged $15 for a turkey sandwich with no brie. The condition of one of the restrooms was terrible. The seat was broken and actually dangerous to use. It is very small and dark. Definitely not handicapped accessible. We will not be going back to Milo's Cellar. There are so many better options in Boulder City.

Love the small town feel of this restaurant and the people are so friendly! All the servers are warm and inviting. Food is not bad, just not a large selection of choices. Place to be if you enjoy a glass or bottle and people watch.

Google
We came here from the recommendation from a local shop employee and was not disappointed. I had the crab and shrimp roll and my husband had the meatloaf sandwich that was on a daily special. Both were wonderful. Get a sangria too, you won't be disappointed!

Sean D

Google
Very friendly staff and the food was fantastic. They have a large selection of wine and the sangria was one of the best ones I’ve had. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Went to dinner with neighbors and tried Milo's Cellar. Had heard it was under new ownership. Menu is mostly salads, sandwiches and pizza but they had a special the night we went so all four of us ordered the braised short rib special. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy and garlic carrots (also a small side salad). The flavor was very good. The meat was fall apart tender. Carrots were delicious. The mashed potatoes were less "fluffy" than I make at home and the the gravy/sauce was thick but tasty. We met the new owner. Very cordial and welcoming. Three of shared a bottle of Pinot Noir. Total bill was just over $200 for 4.

Yelp
Total disappointment! The patio used to be so cute. Now it is encumbered with the music of surrounding businesses. They had a great pianist playing inside that we could not hear outside. Also as a wine bar. The glasses should be polished. We ordered a bottle of wine. My boyfriend's glass had lipstick on it. Service was okay. Had to get up anytime we needed something. She was sweet. Just seemed like our business didn't matter. Was once my favorite spots. I had my baby shower there 20 years ago. Maybe I caught you on a bad day.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place. I come to Boulder City once a month. Today they had a lunch buffet $15.00 self serve. I tried the red and white sangria, red was better. The reason I'm only giving this place 3 stars is because of the service. They have one waitress, who was wearing a crop top and leggings who kept touching her hair. Our self serve lunch took over 90 minutes. We ordered cheesecake that never came, no refills on water, just really bad service. The one server they had working was not kind I get why she was stressed. I saw two other guys working in the kitchen who should have come out and helped. I won't be back.

Yelp
We came here after a day trip to Lake Mead. Let start with the menu, only 4 items for the lunch. I thought that the food is going to be great because they only have 4 items to keep their quality at a very high level and everything will be fresh and will taste amazing. However, the food was definitely below the average and they charge $20 for a Panini which doesn't taste good. The location is very nice but I wont back here next time. I didn't try any wine there and can't make any comment on that. I wanted to give them 2 stars but once I saw they have surcharges on any amount, decided to go with one star. Hopefully they will see their recent reviews and will work to improve their quality and fix their mismanagement.

Yelp
My wife and decided to take a short drive to Boulder City today. We needed a place for a drink and a snack. My wife spots a restaurant with "Wine Cellar" in the name. So naturally she insisted we stop. What a nice place. The server was terrific and allowed us to sample some sangria and in my case, a red wine. Both were fantastic. Our snake was the charcuterie plate. Nice selection of sausage, olives, cheese, etc. Just the right amount to split for a mid-day snack. We then met the new owner. I thanked him for playing 50's and 60's music at just the right volume. This will be a new destination for us. Can't wait to try dinner.

Yelp
Friends invited me out to dinner here, as they make wonderful French onion soup. We all ordered it and I had a beet salad. The beet salad was large with lots of candied walnuts too and a great balsamic dressing. The soup was piping hot and small in portion. The chunks of onions were tough and undercooked. The cheese on top was baked with a golden crust. We had extra bread with olive oil and garlic cloves. The issue was the lack of service. My friend went over and got napkins off the server's preparation counter, as none were provided, as we had gotten soup spoons only with our soup. No napkins. I had to ask her for utensils to eat the salad, as no setups were provided for our table. Someone else from the kitchen had brought out my salad and I had to flag her down 5 minutes after I had gotten the salad to ask for something to eat it with. My friends were a bit chagrined about our lack of service, as they wanted to show me the best of their home town. There were only 4 occupied tables , and she was too busy talking to other people to check in on us , and do her basic role.

Yelp
Cute space and we went tonight (Weds) not knowing it was ladies night meaning glasses of wines were half price, which was a welcome surprise. However things went downhill from there. It took almost 25 minutes to get the French onion soup, which I sent back because it was barely lukewarm and I've actually never sent back food in a restaurant in my life. The two 'charcuterie boards' (brie and smoked salmon) were not just mediocre but they seemed as though they were made from ingredients from Costco just tossed onto a plate ( for example the so called French croissant was clearly a grocery store pastry - overly large, doughy and stale). Our server was gracious and tried to do her best but clearly the back of the house needs some work.

Yelp
The Mrs. and I drove out to Boulder City today to have lunch at Milo's Cellar. I have been to Milo's several times over the years. The last time was probably well over a decade ago. Even though it was over a hundred degrees, we decided to sit outside. Milo's has misters on the patio which helped lower the temperature. To start things off, the Mrs. and I enjoyed a wine flight. Three generous pours for $15. For lunch, we order a cheese board, hummus, and and salmon carpaccio. The carpaccio was probably the best. Very refreshing on a hot day. As an after lunch drink, we enjoyed a glass of Merlot. The service was great as well. Aurora took really good care of us. Aside from being a café, Milo's is also a great wine shop. P.S. While I understand Nevada is an "open carry" state, why do you need to bring a loaded weapon to restaurant? You know what they say about little men who love their guns.

Yelp
I'm kicking myself for choosing Milo's Cellar for lunch out of all the places around. The prices were way too high for such mediocre food. Honestly, it just didn't taste good at all. Come on, $20 for a mushroom panini that is neither fresh nor tasty? I couldn't be more disappointed. Forgot to mention, their high prices are not enough; they also charge a surcharge. Save your money and find somewhere better to eat.

Yelp
Milo's Cellar has been a Boulder City gem since long before I lived around the corner / back when I visited here as a tourist, coming thru in winter on my annual hot springs road trips (see Arizona or Gold Strike hot springs if here in winter, chow down here after hiking out). Now that I've moved here, it's where I walk on a whim when I cannot be bothered to turn on my own stove at home in triple-digit summer heat, and a place I can count on to host large groups: they have a lovely private room and always take excellent care of us. They have a fantastic wine selection; I usually let them suggest for me but am partial to a crisp Sauvignon Blanc this time of year. And the caprese salad to cut through this heat. In winter I hunker down with French onion soup. Thank you to Milo, Aurora and the whole staff for hosting our Dam Proud group on Friday, we had a blast!

Yelp
Very disappointed with the new ownership and management. I fully concur with many of the negative reviews. A more limited menu, mediocre service & food and short filled wine. Although the upgrade in the patio furniture and table clothe service inside was an overdue yet pleasant upgrade. And, as with many reviewers, a long time (20+ yrs) patron. Astonishingly, we were charged for room temperature (tap) water. Before seeing the menu or interacting with the food server, the bus person rushed placing water on the table as we were sitting down. The water was down before the rest of the table was set. We were never advised of a water charge. And to add insult to injury, refills were not extended throughout the meal. I had to ask for a top off. $2.95 for tap water? Really? There's not enough margins by selling wine by the glass? Everything has it's time and place. It appears Milo's Cellar's glory days are in the rear view mirror now. Even the Roman Empire didn't last forever. Good riddance.

Yelp
We stopped here after a day trip (hike) to Boulder City. The ambience is very nice. You could sit either inside or outside. The service was fantastic. We enjoyed the ahi tartare that was very tasty. It had a wasabi sauce, that was excellent. We also had the chicken caesar wraps. The special was the salmon salad. The salmon was over cooked slightly. We will come back again for the wine!

Yelp
Cheese and wine!! What's not to love! The service was great. I love an afternoon in Boulder City with some apps and good wine from Milo's, makes my day!!

Yelp
This may be my favorite restaurant in Boulder City. Offering indoor and outdoor seating, this small wine bar has a full menu of sandwiches, salads, and more. My recommendation is the Athena. It's also vegetarian. The staff is always very friendly and attentive and great with wine pairing recommendations. If you've saved room for dessert, the crème brûlée is worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, the red sangria is delicious with the rioja wine in it. One glass was good for us. The Caramelized onion bruschetta was delicious and the cranberry salad was so good. Definitely we'll be back

Yelp
This has been one of my favorite restaurants for the last 20 years. Unfortunately, the new owners have gutted the menu. What you see in the pictures on this site, is a thing of the past. The last times I stopped in they had a slap dash buffet set up on what used to be the bar. The food did not look appetizing and lived down to my expectations. This place is a gem! I have loved it for years but it does not seem as if the new owners/management have any appreciation of how good this place can be. I can see if they had come in w a new menu but this is just sad. Perhaps they just want to turn it into a bar and that is why they killed the restaurant. But at this point I just wish they would sell it to someone who loves the place and is willing to come up w a decent menu. The place is awesome, when it's being run by people who know how to make it work. I really miss the former owners/ management. I would give it one star but after 20 years of being 5 stars, it deserves better.

Laurie S.

Yelp
What an amazing restaurant! They have definitely upgraded the ambiance, and the restaurant feels so comfortable and looks beautiful. My husband and I have been there twice and will definitely be back. The charcuterie board was great, and they have an amazing wine list. The service was warm and engaging. We really had a great time!

Yelp
We felt just like stepping into an Italian Taverna. Homey a relaxing!! Will definitely make time to go there again.

Richard R.

Yelp
This place is a long time 'old standby' in Boulder City, Nevada but has become tired. Suddenly there is new management and ownership who have breathed new life and energy into Milo's. Everything is better, brighter. Menu's a getting new life and variety. It's more comfortable there now and cleaner. Good changes are happening rather regularly. If you haven't been there in a while... C'mon back, relax and drink a bottle of wine.
google avatar

Yelp
Have been going to Milo's Cellar for years. Always a delight and great food. Just went 2 days ago, and what a let down! Our waitress was horrible. Absolutely no smile, and looked like we were bothering her if we asked for something. Menu has changed drastically, and food was barely ok. Definitely will not be going back. Will try other restaurants next time.

Stephanie I.

Yelp
If you are in Boulder City this is a great place for food. It evokes the ambiance of Italy with wide range of wine selection . A full bar for those awesome cocktails like the pineapple Negroni sour and limoncello Moscow mule. I've tried their charcuterie it's delicious and also the Italian sandwich superb. Can't wait to come back for more. Best of all they have specials and different activities. I did their wine and paint and it's so much fun and don't forget they have live pianist on Thursday nights too. I really had wonderful night this is my go to place now.

Yelp
Response to an operator that apparently has no clue about a customer focused business and offers poor excuses for a substandard experience. #1. The ambient temperature of the outside has nothing to do with the wine temperature from the cooler. The white wine was insufficiently chilled. Never happened before during a visit to Milo's. If the wine had been at an acceptable chilled temperature there would have never have been an issue. We have been customers for 10 years and spent a lot of money at Milo's. Stop with the excuses. Unbecoming. #2. I was polite to the server, it is not her problem that Milo's provides a substandard product, her service was ok #3. The disappointing attitude was in response to wasting our time for a solution that resulted in us waiting around for 45 minutes for a glass of tepid white wine #4. Your response to the review demonstrates a very poor understanding of a customer focused business, defending a poor product with excuses, is a recipes for failure #5. You may want to consider taking a back seat from interacting with customers, you do not have the necessary and required skills to be successful #6. You really need to visit similar businesses that have the formula and customer service acumen to be successful. I strongly recommend Khouries, you may learn some valuable lessons #7. As you reminded my friend that the wine is retail, then the only value Milo's can provide to its customers is atmosphere, ambience, and customer service. If you fail to provide any of the above, then you can buy the wine anywhere. Having been the owner of two very successful pubs, let me know if you need any further advice, we can negotiate a price.

Yelp
Quaint little quiet town just near Vegas. Found this wonderful place while strolling down the main streets. Food was fresh and they definitely care about their wine and their clients feel right at home so much you don't want to leave. Salad, bread and oil dip was phenomenal. Top of the line wine choices and incredible staff.

Yelp
I've heard so many great things about here but it was just okay. Server was nice. Inside and outside seating. The crab and shrimp(lobster) roll was okay. I didn't think it was lobster but I think the menu might have said it. The side salad Cous cous I had was hard and starchy. My husband had the same roll but a macaroni salad that was also hard and starchy. The tuna tartare was also just okay. It was basically a poke. Each item was basically $20. Service was okay but this was during Art in the Park so it's understandable that our waters were never refilled.

BJ A.

Yelp
... had not been to the restaurant in several years, always remember it being very good.. this visit not so much, was disappointing ... service prompt & friendly... atmosphere similar to previous visits... was food that was disappointing... starter plate was good, it was the panini-sandwich that was off... side-salad greens were all-wilted, au-jus-sauce accompanying the meat sandwich tasteless, along with the sandwich itself... appeared prepared as if just going through the motions ... we'll try going again another time, hopefully will be a better experience

Yelp
We have wanted to check out Milo's for a while but it is always so busy that... well on this beautiful afternoon we scored an outside table! So glad we did! The weather was amazing and the service was tops! We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon as we sat and nibbled and drank! Our server never rushed us but was right there when we needed him! There is quite the extensive wine selection available by the glass or bottle, and is moderately priced! We plan a return trip to try out the delicious choices on their dinner menu!
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped by for a wine tasting after visiting the Hoover Dam. Very impressed with the food and service. Susan really took care of us. She recommended a wine selection and was knowledgeable about the menu. Very enjoyable afternoon. We had the french onion soup, bread with dipping oil.

Yelp
We were traveling and decided to put stop in Boulder City, so glad we did because we found this gem The food was on point. If I lived near hear I would make it a weekly stop.

Yelp
Great food, great service, great ambiance! We love to walk here and eat on the patio.

Valerie F.

Yelp
Food was average or worse. Pricey for what we got. All 4 of us wouldn't eat there again.
google avatar

Yelp
Just wow... Pur server Cami was spectacular and the food was devine. Lori had a glass of Malbec and I had a Petite Sirah! Everything was extraordinary! A 6 star would be more on order!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for brunch and had a wonderful time! This is such a cute place with great wine and cheese! They had a great lunch deal for a turkey wrap and couscous, but definitely will be ordering just appetizers next time as those were pretty filling and my favorite part of the restaurant! Can't wait to come back

Candy M.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go for a casual lunch and a yummy glass of wine. You can look at wine and pick something out to take home while you dine!

Yelp
We went for a date night last night with the in laws for some wine and fun. Our hostess was Amy. She also treated us like we belonged to the family. She was prompt about our wine list selection and request. We got up and choose our wine from the cellar. Gave her our bottle and she very selectively laid out our 4 glasses and poured our wine. St Frances 2016 Cabernet 30$. I am not sure there was even a corkage fee. Later my In laws picked their bottle to share with us. Amy accommodated us with an over whelming personality and pure joy to go I to Milos. We will be returning because obviously Henderson doesn't have anything exciting happening. Now i am adding to my review. We (husband and I) went to Milos to eat and taste wine last night. 1/4/2020. Did our usual picked our wine. 2013 Humble Pie Cab Sav. Oh my was it the best. Raspberry's, oak flavor with a hint of smoke. Very tasty. We actually at (first time). I have a Greek salad and my husband had Saturday night special. Mash potatoes and toast. Wow. I am not a meat eater. But I tasted this delicious dish. The meat needed absolutely fabulous. The meat was tender inside and crispy on the out. The carrots were sweet and just enough of them. My Greek salad was very large for the price. The biggest tomatoes I have ever seen for small tomatoes. The chef came out as we requested. We both complimented him on a meal well prepared. He immediately took our compliments with gracious humbles. I don't want to share this awesome hot spot because We want it all to ourselves. Lol
google avatar

Nim S.

Yelp
The food was great. Ordered their braised Ribs. Couple of appetizer boards. Great all around. Nice little town too. Service was good. Wish we could have sat outside but they were so busy. Inside was nice too.
google avatar

Jeannine H.

Yelp
Martini Mondays !! Choice of liquor and flavors! Cheese board with an appletini was wonderful. I usually get a salad or wrap. Both are fresh and worth getting again - as I do! Variety in the menu including chicken and salmon. Known for its wine tasting they have a great variety to choose from but not the staff to be able to help you or know what you ordered. Don't let that hinder you from sitting on the sidewalk and watch the world go by! Ambience is perfect!
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere... very nice staff... and amazing salads! I enjoyed the candied walnut cranberry salad and it was top notch. I love visiting Boulder City so I can make an effort to eat at this gem of a place.
google avatar

Gayle S.

Yelp
Unfortunately Milo's has fallen down. They fired most of the popular waitstaff. Cut the menu in half and can't decide how much to charge for a bottle of wine. I'm hoping it might go up for sale and someone can make this once great restaurant/wine bistro the star it can be.
google avatar

Jeanine N.

Yelp
We are outside along the front sidewalk. We had spaghetti and meatballs. It was flavorful and the sauce tasted handmade. The bread they brought out was warm and fresh. The wine selection was great and we sampled a flight. The lemon cake for desert was served with yummy raspberry and chocolate sauce. We would return again.

Beth R.

Yelp
New ownership! I highly recommend if you haven't been or it's been awhile, give it a try. Food was awesome. great atmosphere. Go check it out.
google avatar

Lisha B.

Yelp
I wasn't overly crazy about my order and the prices a little high but it's a unique place and very cozy and fast service. I would like to go again and give a second try.

Yelp
Excellent Greek salad. Excellent Italian sub. We didn't do wine but looked like a lot of diversity. Definitely recommend. The service is very family.

Denice P.

Yelp
Not our best visit ! We try to hit Milo's every time we're in town. I enjoy the wine and we typically get the same shareable to eat. We stopped on Friday at 1-ish for a light lunch. This was probably our 6th visit. Ordered wine, soup, hummus platter and caprese salad. Two tables that were seated after us were getting their food orders before we even got wine. I had to go inside and find the server who clearly forgot. She apologized and assured us that everything was coming soon. Got wine, and watched as the other tables got the remainder of their food as we still sat there. Mind you, everyone around us had a different server than we did. It took 35 plus minutes to finally get the soup and by time the hummus and capreses salad came, the other table was paying their bill. The hummus - something we always get - was just a few cucumber slices and pita. Seemed to be missing veggies we are used to. We just wanted a little wine and food. Disappointed it took well over 90 min. Usually our Milo's visit is a great experience. If this had been our first time, it would've been our last.

Gloria M.

Yelp
My girlfriends treated me to lunch at Milo's for my birthday. We all ordered the French kiss as recommended by our server. It was delicious. The server was knowledgeable about the wine and the lunch was very enjoyable.

Zach I.

Yelp
awesome place and the atmospheres great and the customer service is top-notch. They have definitely improved the place and the menu and the service.

Yelp
As always, I am never disappointed in this quaint Boulder City gem. The food is great and the staff are always welcoming and I feel like family every time. It was my mom's first time and she too fell in love. Carly and all the staff are what customer service should be everywhere. I will always come back...

Vick Y.

Yelp
Meatball sub is my favorite on the menu. I've tried other items but I keep coming back for the meatball sub. Neat restaurant with wonderful staff.

Yelp
Exceptional every time! Great food, service and ambiance! Cami S. (Master Sommelier) makes sure everything is just right!
