i came here about a week ago with my family for the first time and ms. alicia (not sure of the spelling because i got her name from another employee before i left but i think she’s one of the managers) was 10/10 amazing! it was 5 of us and we all walked in looking at the menu trying to decide and she asked us if we’d ever eaten here before. we all replied “no” and she immediately turned around, starting pulling things out of a drawer, even disappeared around the corner. when she came back she had a tray with some chicken tenders, fries, and a few different sauce options. she let us all taste their different sauces with the chicken and fries before we even ordered to give us a better idea of what we wanted. i said what fast food establishment you know that do that?! on top of that, the samples were amazing so my family and i were even more excited to eat there. we ordered, sat down and ate once they brought all our food out and everything was so good. too bad we were just visiting but the next time i’m in birmingham, TRUST i will be back to eat at milo’s (hopefully this same location 😉) thank you again and a special shoutout to ms. alicia for making this a great fast food experience for all of us! ❤️

I was provided the wrong order/food while on my lunch break. I didn’t check, as I was rushing back to work. No biggie! Mistakes happen! When I returned to receive correct order, the team & manager were very sweet and respectful. She replaced my order and apologized. It felt good to not have to wait, argue, or prove a point that my order wasn’t correct. She immediately replaced my order, Great team great customer service !

Google
There’s a 90% chance they’ll mess up your order. I’ve given them multiple chances, hoping for improvement, but nothing ever changes. My last four orders were wrong—Super simple stuff like a #1 combo with a Mega Fry and I get a cheeseburger and a small fry. Won’t be going to this location ever again

This is my favorite milos!! Best customer service, best food, and a genuine family restaurant. Staff is very accommodating and respectful.

I grew up in this area and this was one of my favorite restaurants… every time I drive through Birmingham, I stop for my favorite burgers, fries, and sweet tea! 🥰

Google
Not a huge fan of Milos. That being said the employees were nice and polite, cutting up and having a good time at work. They brought that to the atmosphere of the restaurant, definitely a plus. Having employees that enjoy their work and work together well while taking care of the customer is a huge deal nowadays. As far as the food goes it was Milo's, if you like it you do if you don't you don't.

We came in late to eat, but the manager and staff let us stay a little past closing time to let us finish eating. Great people great service great food

Google
I really enjoy Milo's new breakfast options. My favorite item is the grit bowl. The grits taste homemade and are really rich and creamy. I recently visited this location and they were sold out so I ordered a chicken waffle sandwich. I was completely let down. This review has nothing to do with the Milo's staff. It has everything to do with whomever decided it was okay to sell a slider for almost $4. I repeat. This sandwich was $4 yet it could fit in the palm of a small child's hand. I have attached a picture of the sandwich and sat it next to an Ozark 30oz lid so you could have an idea of the true size of my disappointment. Please order anything but this overpriced mini sandwich.

Yelp
2 is for the hamburger. 0 for the fries. They were old and brown when we got them. Should've sent them back through the drive thru window What a shame to spend 50$ and get food like that

Yelp
2 stars First, I rarely eat fast food breakfast unless I'm on vacation or something. But for the last two days I've eaten fast food for breakfast. I'd been hearing good things about Milo's breakfast. My sister had a procedure so she needed a non-greasy option. She chose Milo's for a cheese grit and egg bowl. Me, a newbie, was excited that they offered Conecuh sausage. I got the waffle plate with Conecuh. The lady in the drive- thru was very nice and friendly. But when I got home and opened my food, I was beyond disappointed. I had 3 very small waffles in a bowl with a small amount of chopped Conecuh sausage. The waffles had little flavor and were hard and dry. I couldn't eat them. The sausage was tasty... it's Conecuh, but why was it chopped? This was a $5 breakfast that went down the drain. I would've much rather had a $1 sausage biscuit from Mickey D's. If I find myself subjected to Milo's breakfast again, I surely won't go for the waffles.

Yelp
I visited the State Farm Pkwy location on August 14th around 8 p.m. I ordered a #4 Mega Meal with cheese at the drive through. I didn't want the Apple pie, but was told it was cheaper since I wanted the mega meal. I also asked for Milo's sauce and ketchup. When they gave me bag, it had no apple pie in it, so I asked about it. They gave it to me. Here's why the lore rating. The fries were regular size, not hot and there was no cheese on the burger. Total charge ? $13.00 even. How does that happen? The workers were obviously doing a poor job on purpose. My order wasn't difficult. It was the crappiest service I've ever gotten from Milo's

Yelp
I used to enjoy getting Milo's Hamburgers and chicken occasionally after a long day of work. This time, after ordering food for myself and my husband, we will not be going back, nor will we be eating fast food for a very long time. I ordered the "original" grilled chicken sandwich and got home to a dried out "spicy" grilled chicken sandwich on a soggy bun with old lettuce and tomato and the spicy or even the soggy bun didn't bother me as much as the nasty 2 inch thick layer of green stuff that I had to peel off with a spoon. Disgusting! I'm convinced someone messed with my food or whoever came up with this spice is a moron. Also, I ordered my husband a double cheeseburger with no sauce and now we realize why they put such a thick layer of sauce all over it, the meat is so thin and dry. A lean cuisine is 10 times better! It's not worth the time and money. Please stay away or I hope you Enjoy!!

Yelp
I'm not much of a fast food fan, but if I'm in a hurry and I'm looking for something quick I will always turn to Milo's. To me, McDonald's and Burger King are last resort options. Milo's reminds me of a hometown burger place rather than a national chain. Also, I consider it a family-friendly place as well and an inexpensive choice for local teenagers. And, I always run into at least one person I know when I visit. Even though it is considered fast food, sometimes it can be crowded. So if you only have a few minutes, keep this in mind. My favorite meal when I visit is a toasted cheese with everything, a side of fries and a drink; with everything means, Milo's original sauce, onions, and pickles. If you haven't been to Milo's in several years, you will be pleased to know that they now have a lot of different sauce choices and there are pumps so you can get as much as you want. In the past, if you ran out of sauce, you had to go back to the counter and ask for more. This could take awhile depending on the day and the crowds.

Yelp
Once, Milo's was good. But today I ordered a #1 Hamburger and it cost $7.29. This is a $0.29 burger that would sell for $1 . It is the worst meal deal in Alabama. Never ever going back. There are good places that really try, Milo's is a joke. Good riddance.

Yelp
I'm really not into the fast food scene. I know I hit up places for a biscuit in the morning occasionally, but I really prefer to spend a coupe bucks more (sometimes nothing extra) and have something a little better than fast food. Sometimes though time doesn't permit and you try something different. I've been here a few times (drive through and dine in). Nothing really fancy about this place. It has a typical fast food feel as far as decor, seating, ordering, etc. I like that they try to do their own thing and don't play by the typical rules. They have their own signature sauce which is pretty good. They also don't have a regular bun like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys (Don't get me started on square burgers). They flavor of the burger isn't too bad considering it's fast food. Fresh onions and the signature sauce round out a regular burger. Fries are good if they are fresh and warm, pretty typical for any fast food style place. Pretty good shakes, but they don't have a ton of flavors, not really an issue for me since I'm good with a vanilla shake. Now, of this review was for the sweet tea and the sweet tea only they would get a 6 out of 5 rating. I kind of wish I hadn't discovered Milo's sweet tea. But when you are at Target, Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club, etc and they have gallons of the stuff you kind of gotta figure they have an idea about the right way to make tea. Tea is simply put, too good. If I'm in a Ruch and looking for a quick in and out I would stop in here again. Nothing (except for the tea) really stands out with a wow factor for me, but they do things their way and have a signature sauce, so give them a try and you may find a new fast food place to frequent.

Yelp
Everybody goes to Milo's...or at least they should! I can honestly say I was raised on this food and it's part of the reason why I don't want to leave Alabama!!! The fries are awesome with their seasoning and the sauce is the bomb!!! When I was a kid I loved the grilled cheese, now that I am older I can never decide between the grilled cheese, cheeseburger, or chicken fingers...all with fries and tea of course!!! I'm also really glad to see that they have added in a few sauces to accompany their fries and (newish) chicken fingers!

Yelp
Lunch is my break from the crazy work day, and I REALLY wanted a huge sweet tea! So where else to go but Milos? Lol... Well, today must have been an off day for the cashier or something because she had a terribly UGLY attitude, her tone was extremely rude, nd she was just all around unpleasant. I wanted to order the chicken tender sandwich meal, and asked about it and she kept being rude about answering my questions. Now yes, I understand its lunch time and lunch time gets very very busy, but dang! That doesn't mean that your customers wont have questions and that they want to talked to any kind of way! Get it together Milos...

Yelp
I like this location in Vestavia. Sweet workers. My sister never had Milos and wasn't a fan of the sauce. For her it was too sweet. I told her to see if she can exchange it. They completely understood and made her a fresh one without the sauce. I'm a fan of the sauce and all the other sauces to dip my fries in. I love their ice. It's the crushed and snowy kind. Once my fries were way too salty I guess someone got too heavy handed with the seasoning shaker. I didn't realize it until I got home. Other than that, Milos is southern chain that satisfies my sweet tea and cheeseburger/crinkle cut fry cravings!

Yelp
This was my "Lunch Milo's" (see other review for "Breakfast Milo's") and same wonderful service. Jacquelyn was prompt, polite and sweet. Burger, fries & tea were as tasty as I would expect from Milo's. Not a fan of the actual location on this busy road, but hey, you can't have everything. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

L C.

Yelp
Milo's prices keep increasing... I get there is inflation but their food isn't worth $10-15/meal. The last few times I have gone to this location I haven't received the best service. I came in about a year ago and my boyfriend accidentally spilled his drink. Not a single worker offered to help, they all just stared at us while we cleaned it up. Then, I came yesterday and the girl who spoke to me had a horrible tone and snapped at me when I asked for extra Milo's sauce. Overall, I love Milo's and will probably keep coming but I do wish the workers were a bit less rude and the prices were slightly lower.

Yelp
Food is good as always. Dine in is restricted due to COVID 19. You can use drive thru or walk in to pick up. However, they only allow one door to be unlocked. We went for lunch. Ordered a lemon pie but received an apple pie inside of a lemon pie box. Went back to exchange and both doors were locked. Frustrating

Yelp
This location is going downhill FAST. I work in the area so I frequent this location a lot. Up until the last two months or so, everything was fine and the food was always hot and fresh. I went last week and the woman that took my order was rude. I guess I forgot to tell her what type of sausage, egg, and cheese combo I wanted so after I finished telling her my order she yelled "sausage, egg, and cheese WHAT?! Then proceeded to name menu items that contained sausage, egg, and cheese and laughed before I could get a word out. Very rude. When handing me my order she did not utter one word. The biscuits at this location are the worst....very thin, GREASY, and usually BURNED. Hardee's is now my breakfast choice. Today, I went around 1 PM and ordered the 3pce chicken finger snack and told the cashier I wanted ONE extra sauce. We went over my sauces three to four times to get everything straight and to confirm that I would pay extra. I was going to pay her a quarter for the sauce and pay my meal with my card. Before I could tell her that, she let the window close and added it to my order. When she opened the window I asked her did she add the sauce to my card, she confirmed she did. Annoying, but it's okay... $.25 more on my card is not an issue. Distracted and slightly annoyed that she did that, I paid and received my order. The food was barely warm and chicken fingers small as hell. To top it off, she charged me for TWO sauces even though I told her which sauces and the quantity again, 3-4 times. So, $7 for three baby chicken fingers, slightly warm food, and one extra sauce that I was charged for but didn't ask for. The names on my receipts are the same from the two incidents but the cashiers I had interaction with were different so I am not sure who Jeleicia is. I guess from now on, I will have to stop being lazy and drive to Chic-fil-A and Zaxbys until this location steps their game back up.

Yelp
Overrated and OVERPRICED! We were really looking forward to trying Milos since we don't have them in Florida. Unfortunately we were very disappointed.
google avatar

Lucy C.

Yelp
Just left here and I've never been treated so rudely before in my life. My large sweet tea barely had any ice and when I asked for some more you would have thought I asked them to go to the North Pole to get it. If you are that unhappy with your job or you are not a people person, please find another job! I used to love going to this location but never again!!!
google avatar

Keith V.

Yelp
Customer service is non existent at this location!! Most importantly the food was not cooked thoroughly. Food quality is POOR & NOT CONSISTENT!!! Lastly Milos has become greedy and only allows one sauce with a combo before being charged. We reached out to corporate and spoke with an individual named Drew who seemed to care less about our experience or concerns. After bringing to her attention our concerns and telling her that we would be so kind to leave a few reviews, she became angry and said " I don't deal with threats" and then hung up on us. To think this person is a regional Sr. Manager is a complete joke. Total lack of professionalism! Bye Bye milos

Yelp
Milo's is a treasure in Alabama. It is in need of a very competent chef to revamp the menu and find cabbage for the cole slaw to avoid the GMO type being used. The cabbage was unchewable. We want our Milo's. We do not want to let it go. They have good tea and excellent fries. They have moved to a very flat hamburger bun for some kind of convenience, but need to let it go. Be safe Milo's!!!
google avatar

Aaron H.

Yelp
I usually don't go to many fast food chains, but I've always like Milo's even though it's only occasional because they have a variety of options such as different burgers, chicken fingers, milkshakes, pie, etc; Not to mention you can't go wrong with having their sweet tea with your meal! In my opinion this is what sets them apart. I've never been a huge fan of the signature burger with the sauce( that is a personal preference as others love it) but I have to say their fries and chicken fingers are some of my favorite. I prefer the Double O sauce for dipping (instead of the regular sauce), which is ranch with a hint of the Milo's sauce, and it is to die for. You must get it. This location in Vestavia is nicer than some I've been to and also very clean, but their service is a little slower than expected. It took around 10-15 minutes for my order to be ready last time I went, so that is my complaint. Hopefully it'll be a little faster next time as I will come back eventually when craving Milo's!
google avatar

Yelp
Milo's Hamburgers is a fast-food restaurant chain located all across Alabama that serves hamburgers, fried foods, and pies. Their hamburgers are topped with a special BBQ sauce and a little extra meat patty, which distinguishes Milo's from the rest of fast-food burger restaurants. The inside dinning was closed, which is comforting because it reduces the chance of spreading the COVID-19 virus and protects workers from being exposed to individuals coming and going within the restaurant. Ordering from the drive-through took no time, and the food was hot, fresh, and fast. Overall I would give the restaurant and the experience five stars for the quality of food and the safety measures taken for employees and customers.

Yelp
They put no ice in my tea then charged me $.50 extra to have ice. I said "but there's no ice in my drink." Answer: "that'll be 50 cents."
google avatar

Paul C.

Yelp
Let me first say that I am not fond of fast food restaurants. One exception is Milos Hamburgers in Birmingham, Alabama. This is a family owned chain that has locations throughout central Alabama. The Milos slogon is "Quality food since 1946" and their commercial jingle is "Everybody goes to Milos". The burgers, special sauce, and sweet tea make Milos special. First, the burgers are served on buns that are toasted on the grill. At first glance it looks like you are getting a hamburger on two bun bottoms. The burgers are topped with chopped, grilled onions and two dill pickle slices. They are served with Milos special sauce, and as a quirky little touch, an extra bite size piece of burger meat on top of each burger. The Milos special sauce is unique and just right for a hamburger. The sauce is sweet, but hard to compare to a barbecue sauce. Many people ask for extra sauce to use on their French fries. A practice I highly recommend. The French fries are crinkle cut, and the flavored salt that is sprinkled on them is delicious. Sweet tea is a Southern tradition. When you order tea in the South you will get pre-sweeten tea by default. Milos tea is served over coarsely crushed ice, and is sweet and smooth. It is famous and is so popular that it is sold by the gallon in most grocery stores around Birmingham. As fast food service goes, the service at Milo is usually better than the average. All of the Milos locations are consistent, popular, and serve a ton of burgers.
google avatar

Lucy T.

Yelp
I think it's neat that a fast food chain can have so few options on their menu, and still manage to have customers coming back for decades and decades. They had a special deal on their famous burger so I gave it a try. Not my cup of tea (no pun intended) at all. The burger is half raw onion and secret sauce. I don't know who enjoys this, but it seems to stay on their menu after all these years! I will stick to their chicken fingers, fries, and milkshakes.
google avatar

Yelp
If you don't know milos, you need to try it and this is a great location to try. They are best known for their milos sauce, sweet tea, and ice. All are good and worth a try. I visit about every other month. I am so surprised at how some of the small food chains can be so different from location to location, especially when they have the same menu! Surprising but true and this Milos is by far my favorite Milos. In fact, I won't be going to the other locations anymore...only this one. The service has been great the last two times I have been. The shake is ok. Worth it if you want a shake but there are several other places in town to get a better one. I get the bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions. The fries are ok but what sends them up a notch is the double o sauce. That sauce can make a man eat even the cardboardest of fries (not that these are the) because you will want more and more of that sauce. Of course, don't miss the tea and that signature ice!
google avatar

Yelp
I am sorry Milo's fans, I don't get it. Take a standard no flavor burger that has no spices of any kind, cover it with cheese, BBQ sauce, onions and pickles and that's a Milo's burger. Substitute the burger for a veggie burger, piece of chicken or tofu and it would taste exactly the same sorry. Flavor is coming from the toppings 100% Doubt what I am saying? Then go in and order a Milo's burger plain (no toppings) and close your eyes and see if you can taste anything. So happy they have such a loyal following but I don't get it. Sorry. Place was clean, staff was pleasant, food was served fast, I just don't get the zealous following this chain has.

Yelp
The chicken fingers were good and the fries were good but my meal was almost ruined at the Vestavia location today... Tuesday, Feb 11, 2020... I ordered SLAW with my meal... what I got was called by them Broc Slaw... It was very hard strips of green something... It was not what we call "cold slaw" here in the South... I can not tell you what it tasted like because it was too hard to eat... If you are selling SLAW as your menu's indicates then you need to change this cheap dish... Not everyone can eat hard food... I feel the staff should tell you what they are serving if it is going to be different from your posted menu"s

Yelp
Had my car being detailed across the parking lot at Anthony's and took up residence at Milo's while I waited. Came in about 7:30am and the 3 gals working were all super friendly and you could tell they were happy in their jobs (I love seeing people enjoy life, even when it's early in the am and you're working with greasy fryers!). This was my first time at a Milo's (I just moved here from out of state), and I thought it was good! I had a chicken biscuit and hash browns, both tasty and fresh. I'm definitely a sauce person and was excited to see all the different sauce options but sadly both different ranches came out gloppy and gross so I passed on those, they didn't have the Milo's sauce out so I asked for it and they gave me a little container of it, very good mixed with the TexasPete hot sauce! Other than the ranch coming out a gross gloppy mess, it was a A+ experience overall for a fast food place. I would definitely be back.

Yelp
I love Milo's food, and this location is no different than other Milo's locations regarding good food. Unfortunately, it is the slowest drive thru in the Birmingham metro area. I am not talking about an isolated incident. They are consistently slow. I mean 4 cars in the drive thru and it will take you 30 minutes to get a hamburger. A couple of times I have just abandoned my attempt and left the line after sitting motionless for 10 minutes. I have consistently seen others bail on the drive thru as well. Good food. Just no longer worth the wait.

Beth F.

Yelp
Never been in this drive through and waited less than 25 minutes. Unsure why i continue to return to this location. I'd save more time and frustration driving across town.

Yelp
In Birmingham, there are two ongoing, unwinnable arguments. The first is between Auburn fans and Alabama fans (Otherwise known as the Forces of Goodness and Light versus the Minions of Evil and Darkness). The second feud is between Those Who Love Milo's and Those Who Would Rather Eat A Chunk Of Their Radial Tire. I'm in the first camp. I love the heavy sauce that goes on a Milo's burger. It smacks of soy and Worcestershire sauce and a few other ingredients. Throw in their liberal use of onions, and you get a pretty good hamburger with a unique wang to it. And to top things off with an extra heaping' helping of awesomeness are their fries heavily covered with cheese salt, perfect when dipped in Milo's sauce. So about once every three months, I go through the ritual of a Milo's burger, fries, sauce on the side, an orange drink, and -- if I'm feeling frisky -- one of their fried lemon pies. I'll have to do penance for a week afterwards in the form of extra exercise, but so the hell what? There you go. You'll either love Milo's or you'll hate it. Think of it as a daring experiment along the lines of attending the opera for the first time or sipping moonshine. After all, I've tried Korean food that looks as if it should be in the bottom of a tackle box. Some like it while others loathe it. Same kind of thing.
google avatar

Dana L.

Yelp
I love, love, love Milo's and now live 6 hours away and always get it when I come home. The food here was good and the place clean but the staff was unruly and unprofessional today. It's Christmas Eve and they were acting terrible. The employees were loud and singing obnoxious Christmas carols about Rudolph's neck being snapped while there were little children in line on Christmas Eve!! It was so awful, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful! Freedom to express yourself is one thing, but doing it at work at the expense of the customers' dining experience is another. The manager had to be aware of this and is culpable and responsible. I will never go back to this Milo's again and might reconsider Milo's altogether. They need a management check in my opinion. It's a shame because I love Milo's and look forward to eating here when I'm in town.

Yelp
Having been a Milo's fan for years and years, our first stop when we roll into Birmingham is typically Milo's. You can imagine our surprise and disappointment when we hit Milo's this trip. We had heard that due to a dispute with the iced tea company they no longer served Milo's tea in the restaurants. What we had not heard was that everything else had changed, too. The burger was clearly a different meat. More gray in color with the star shaped edges often found on preformed patties. The little extra piece of meat Milo's has always added to the burger was no longer there, and both sauce and onions were served more conservatively. Even the bun seemed to be from a different vendor. Next we tried the fries which were the usual crinkle cut but with much less seasoning than in the past. The kids had the chicken strips which have always been fantastic. They said they, too, were different, more like a processed chicken. The tea was fine, maybe a little stronger and less sweet than I remember it. I was surprised when the lady behind the counter seemed annoyed when we asked for refills on our tea. So, the king is dead, apparently destroyed by bean counters who don't respect the tradition and quality Milo's is know for. I want to remember Milo's for what it was so we will not be going back to whatever this is now.
google avatar

Barry S.

Yelp
Love Milos!! I've been eating their burgers, fries, sweet tea (the best) and the sauce my entire life. But you have to go inside if you want your order done right. Every trip through the drive-thru finds something left out or the wrong drink or the wrong size. I just went through the drive through in Pelham, went home and not to my surprise they left out the sauces. 2 - No. 2's and 2 sauces. Not a difficult order. Oh well, still good but not five stars without the sauce.
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
I think I will have nightmares of this place forever. I noticed signs for Milo's while driving near Birmingham and made a mental note that I wanted to try it out. What a mistake. The only way I can describe the "hamburger" is the worst Salisbury steak you've ever had. Imagine that and then make it even worse. That's what it tastes like. Then they top it with a special sauce. Basically cheap ketchup mixed with awful BBQ sauce. I took one bite and left immediately. The staff is really friendly. They all worked fast and were polite. Don't be fooled by the signs and come in here expecting a great burger though.

Yelp
What really to say!!! i always love a good milos burger and enjoy going thru birmingham and stopping for lunch at one of there resturants, this was not one of those time. First off the place was filthy, the cashier had no idea what she was doing and the wait was long. I guess the wait was long because i watched the cashier and another employee try to be sneaky about filling the to go sack for the person ahead of me in line full of fries.

Yelp
Milo's defines two things. The hamburger and Southern style tea. I like my cheeseburgers with the original Milo's sauce on them but you can get them the classical style if you prefer. Tea is so good, almost every grocery store sells it in bulk but exact blend is still a family secret. Variety of deserts available and chicken for your non-burger eating guests.

Yelp
Milos has to be the jewel of Alabama. By far my favorite hamburger and fries from pretty much anywhere. And believe it or not, their chicken sandwiches are just as amazing. And the pies. They literally can do no wrong.

Yelp
Been here multiple times and the customer service is always horrible. It's really not that hard to be nice to your customers. It is your job!!

Yelp
Well, we are set to move to Florida this week, but I couldn't leave home without having Milo's once more. This place is a tiny slice of heaven, since my childhood I've been coming here and have never been disappointed. The menu is easy and accessible, the people are as nice as can be with the food being to die for! I'll miss Milo's, but every time I am back home in Birmingham I'll be there!

Yelp
Such great, friendly service. Alisha F. helped me in the drive thru today. After I had a hard day at work and driving in the rain, her great attitude and attention to detail really brightened my day. She was thoughtful and kind. Way to go! Also, the food is hot and just as I ordered.

Yelp
The employees here are incredibly friendly. Milos is iconic in the Birmingham area, and by eating here, you are supporting local. The cheeseburger smothered in Milo's sauce is where it is at. And the fries are always fresh. They have a wide variety of dipping sauces out in the lobby for you to choose from yourself instead of having to ask an employee to get it for you behind the counter.

Yelp
Milo's has fundamentally changed over the years for the worse. Service is not that great. Tea comes out of urns instead of the aerated foamy tea in the past that gave it the distinctive punch. I never liked the tea sold at Supermarkets because it was dead tea that never tasted like the restaurants. The fries now don't have the salt they use to have on them and they don't add the extra fries in the to go bag. The Hamburger has a little bit of a different consistency than they use to. The prices have gone through the roof for a burger with only onions, sauce, a little hamburger meat, and a bun that could be confused with a Walmart brand. I'm not spending $10 on a meal from a fast food restaurant when I can go to a nice restaurant and spend $12. I use to go to Milo's sometimes twice a day. So I feel like I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Milo's I won't ever eat there again. Too many choices today for that price with poor service.

Yelp
The famous "SWEET TEA" if nothing else is the absolute best!!! My son likes their crinkle fries. We havent tried anything else yet. This location is always friendly to me. So basically this review is based off the sweet tea and fries only.

Yelp
Awful experience due to the employees. They are consistently rude. I typically get the conecuh protein plate and I always order two extra eggs at each location. This is the only one that does not add any extra eggs and will argue you down that they add more. This last visit I figured I would be smart and order 4 extra eggs and yet and still got the same normal serving amount that comes in the standard dish and when I questioned it and said there is literally 0 extra eggs on here they proceeded to get an attitude. I love milos and the menu but I will never go to this location again.

Yelp
I am not a fast food eater. But sometimes it is just part of life when you are an American. In the mix of fast food chains, I believe this is the only one of a few that may be worth writing about. This burger is one of a kind with the mix of onions and barbeque sauce. The fries are fresh cooked to order and the special seasoning is great (just tell them to go easy on it if you are sensitive to salt). This place is a unique Alabama experience not to be missed by any out of town visitor. Have the sweet tea and a fried pie too. These folks knock it down right. The Milo's burger is to Alabama what the In-and-Out Burger is to California. Milo's is a burger that can hold its own on the red carpet fame of the burger world. Next time I am going to get the double! Go ahead... you know you want to do it too!

Yelp
I completely agree that these are the best hamburgers. The secret sauce and grilled onions are key, byt the grilled, flattened bun is an unexpected treat. Also, the old-fashioned crinkle fries are always piping hot and coated in a cajun-like red powder. Tasty, tasty, not at all healthy wonderful burgers. :)

Yelp
The staff and service here still has a long way to go to be back to where was a couple years ago. The sauce counter was a mess and the drink area was a disaster. But, I will say before I left both areas were being cleaned. The staff is not real professional and are more interested in conversating with each other than waiting on customers.
