Hands down the most amazing corn tortillas I've had in my life and I grew up in San Diego. You couldn't be supporting, kinder and more amazing people. You will fall in love with the quality and taste but be warned, all other tortillas will be forever ruined and you will develop a culinary codependent relationship with these tortillas.

Hard to go back to store bought when you’ve had Milpa Masa tortillas. They’re easily the best tortillas I’ve had. The corn comes through, and each kind has distinct characteristics. Loved the bloody butcher corn tortillas as they had an earthy, almost meaty flavor to them. The owners are really sweet and friendly as well, always a joy to drop by and grab a bag! Oh and grab their cornbread if they have it, very light and corny 😃.

Google
A pleasant surprise, I was pulled in by the sandwich board sign out on the main drag. The owner was affable and knowledgeable. The tortillas are delicious.

Google
Purchased tortillas from Pearla today; very friendly and shared information on each tortilla flavor. Classic white is wonderfully creamy. Oaxacan verde is a subtle herb flavor. Each will be a great addition to homemade Mexican food.

Google
Absolutely the best tortillas available. All sorts of hand crafted masa made from an interesting variety of corns. Not only do they taste great but they are beautiful too.

Anything you get from here is going to be absolutely delicious. Salsa, chips, cornbread (now my girlfriend’s favorite weekend breakfast) and of course the tortillas. They also carry a range of high quality Masienda products, which is awesome because shipping can be rough if you if you just want a bag or two of masa harina.

Google
These tortillas have set the bar for us. Flavor. Texture. Color. They're amazing. We only use grocery store tortillas under duress now. Perla and Roman are a pleasure to talk to, friendly and informative. Weekend-only hours make it a special trip, but it's very much worth it. Do not miss.

Google
I nixtamalize my own masa and make tortillas at home from scratch, but if I want to buy some instead, this is the place. Incredibly kind and welcoming staff, full of knowledge of their products and respect for the community.

Yelp
Excellent food items, attentive and nice staff. The tortillas are some of the best. A little far from Bellevue but definitely worth the drive.

Yelp
Milpa Masa was my first visit to a tortilleria. I brought home to the Bay Area yellow dent and bloody butcher (a deep red corn variety) tortillas for my daughter and husband and they hastily devoured them. I also ate a few over brunch with friends whilst in the Seattle area. These tortillas are ridiculously delicious. My suggestion? Get there early on Saturdays to get your pick.

Yelp
There's an enormous difference between tortillas and masa made from powder vs recently nixtamalized and ground corn. This is the only tortilleria I know of in Seattle proper and rivals the best tortillas I had during my years in Arizona and New Mexico. As if they knew I was hurting, they make absolutely beautiful blue corn tortillas that have all the nutty complexity they should. These are magnificent. The specialty of the day was red corn (Bloody Butcher variety). With advance notice they also will make fresh masa for you. It's just about tamale season, you know what to do. The difference between store-bought and these is the difference between a loaf of wonder bread and a fresh bakery loaf. Seattle, you have been given a gift. Use it wisely.

Yelp
Excellent, high quality, tasty, best in the city. We are from much further south and have been struggling to find the authentic flavor from home. Thank you Milpa Masa for the best holiday tamales we have had in years!! Not for nothing they also added hours around holidays, and then added more hours when the road conditions made our original pick up date impossible. Lovely owners with really authentic product.

Yelp
Had to set a reminder on my phone as we kept forgetting to go on a Saturday! Next time we will go earlier as they were sold out of a few items... and for good reason! We only bought one pack of corn tortillas. We ate half in the car on the way home! The blue corn cornbread became a competition between my wife and I. She won! We enjoyed the remaining tortillas with my salmon taco recipe! Fresh King Salmon wrapped in the king of fresh corn tortillas from Milpa Masa. Set your phone rewinders, now!

Yelp
We went for nixtamal (first time buyers) and service and owner were wonderful. Friendly took time to listen and explain. Nixtamal and tortillas were the best. Only place in Seattle. Their small bakery had wonderful pastry. I want to go back during this season for their hominy make posole! Do not hesitate in visiting them. Small but wonderful.

Yelp
Knowledgeable people making delicious AUTHENTIC tortillas & masa. Can't wait for tamale season to pick up their masa but their tortillas were heavenly, I knew it as soon as I took the first smell, wow!
