The 12 Best Restaurants In Rice Village - Houston - The Infatuation

"Milton’s focuses on the classics and puts all its energy into perfecting pasta. The folks at this Italian restaurant demonstrate this best with their earthy cresta di gallo pasta that’s surrounded by a frothy moat of parmesan foam. The staff is attentive, casually dropping off plates of lasagna and materializing right before you sip the last drop of your cocktail. Milton’s serves the best iteration of familiar Italian dishes, which is why you need to secure a reservation in advance, unless you plan on trying your luck at the bar." - gianni greene, chelsea thomas

I needed a suit for two weddings. The woman that helped us was very helpful and friendly. I took advantage of the buy one get one free sale and ended up with a black suit and a blue suit for about $340 including tailoring the pant cuffs! I haven't received them back yet but I'm sure they will be fine, the tailor seeming very competent and experienced. I would absolutely recommend this store to any guy needing a suit. Great selection and great prices.

I needed a new suit. Not finding what I wanted at 3 previous stores, I went to Miltons Braintree store. Kerri Reaney led me through picking out what I wanted. Then had her tailor measure for hemming the pants. She also helped me pick out a new shirt, tie, suspenders, socks and new Florsheim shoes! From Cape Cod, Miltons was way out of my way. Next time I won’t waste my time and I’ll go straight to see Kerri at Miltons.

Google
This was the worst experience of me buying a suit, they were on sale for a price but when you get to the customer service it was a different price …..and the material is no good after one wash for a suit that cost $699 ,the treading started to fall apart and it collect lint to much

Google
Kerri is the greatest! If you go to Milton’s make sure she is the one helping you. Helped my entire wedding party get fitted with very little time before the wedding. Super flexible and great options. Very fairly priced tailoring and suit choices.

A recent shopping trip to Milton's was great from start to finish! My husband and I are not good shoppers, but he was in need of a new suit. We were helped by both Michael and Killentz - two of the nicest, knowledgeable, professional and no-pressure sales staff I've ever come across. Milton's should know how lucky they are to have both of them on staff! Michael spent an appropriately good amount of time and went above and beyond to make certain my husband and I were happy with our purchase (which we absolutely were) - a beautiful suit at a very reasonable price. Thank you so much!

Pretty good selection. Great pricing and serve. Suits from here. Shirts and ties from somewhere else.

Zuri was incredible and helped us out a lot. Super impressed with this experience

Yelp
Do not come here if Mike is working. He is extremely rude and unprofessional. My brother is learning disabled and he asked me "what's wrong with him?" He asked questions about my wedding and criticized every answer. He then complained about how he did not have money for food. He also told another customer he was too fat to wear a three piece suit.

Yelp
IM ONLY GIVING THIS 5 STAR TO TOMEKIA!! YALL BETTER GIVE HER A RAISE. She was fast, attentive and understood the assignment. I can't say that for anyone else there. NO ONE else was helpful.

Yelp
My Daughter is getting married in May and I needed a new suit so my wife and I decided to go to South Shore Plaza . We were planning on going to Milton's and Macy's . We went to Milton's first where we met Mai Faiella . She patiently took us through different suits which we collectively felt were not just the right one. Then Mai Faiella brought out a tuxedo which I had no thoughts of. Well I tried it on and my wife and I loved it . It only needed minor alterations from there it was on to shirts and again her knowledge helped us find the perfect shirt than onto shoes again she picked out the perfect shoes. We were so happy with Mai that we told our daughter(bride to be) about our experience with Mai Faiella that she took the groom to Milton's and Mai Faiella and they were just as pleased with Mai Faiella they will be outfitting the groom and all the grooms men (8) . It was so refreshing to have a salesperson with knowledge , experience and a great attitude. Kevin M

Yelp
If we could give this place a 0 star review I certainly would. My husband went in to pick out a suit for a funeral. I can understand fully people trying to be attentive but, they wouldn't even give him the time he needed to look around. First night a gentleman had him trying on so many things ...just wouldn't leave us alone. Ok so we go back the next day to get the suit he wanted because they were just closing up the night before. We go in and select the suit and have a shirt picked out and woman there says "no I have a shirt for you" so ok fine we check out. We get to our tailor and take out the suit. No shirt! She hadn't rung the shirt in! ...ok we move on a couple days and he goes to try it on at home and they hadn't even removed the SECURITY Tag! He had to get tools to get it off. Bad experience all around.

Yelp
I needed a suit with very short notice. I did not know my sizes or what I really needed. John was so helpful there he got me sized and found exactly what I needed and took great care of me. Found different things for me and showed me many options to go with. He was excellent, 5 stars for him!!!!! Unfortunately with supply chain shortages and my time frame I was not able to get it tailored in time for my event that was 3 days away, which is completely understandable. But even though I didn't get anything tailored I still got many compliments on how good I looked. The prices where not bad compared to many other stores. Great place to shop. If I ever need another suit I may go back and see if John is working. If they would of tailored the pants (even if they charged a premium) I wanted in time for my event I would of given 5 stars.

Yelp

Yelp
My family and I went to Milton's today and were not disappointed one bit. They had a blazer and pants in my preferred color- dark green- for a reasonable price. We were helped by a kind gentleman named Ronald, who helped us pick out a great tie for me, alongside a white French cuffed shirt. The time of which my suit will be completed is also convenient for me. In the end I had no problem giving Ronald a tip for his assistance, and based on my experience here I totally recommend Milton's for any suit-related endeavors anybody may have.

Yelp
Having worked at Miltons through my teens and twenties, I was confident in their ability to outfit the gentlemen in my wedding party. For years I saw owner Dana Katz, Store Managers and Sales Associates work tirelessly alongside Brides and Grooms to create picture-perfect fashions for a countless number of varying styles. I knew my wedding wouldn't be any different. My husband and I initially visited the Chestnut Hill location and met with Tim Gaines. We brought with us swatches of our wedding colors and photographs of the style we had in mind. Considering three different suit colors, Tim showed us a collection of "Buy One Get One Free" suits and assisted us in selecting a beautiful black Michael Kors ensemble that would flatter the varying builds of our groomsmen and family members, as well as our wine-colored bridesmaid dresses. Additionally, Tim put my husband in a similar but more tapered Calvin Klein suit, which differentiated him from his groomsmen and handsomely flattered his frame. Of my husband's four groomsmen, two lived out-of-state (North Carolina & Arizona) and one was serving overseas in Iraq, returning home just 10-days before our wedding. As far as wedding parties are concerned, we knew this was a tall order. Tim helped us complete a Wedding Party Registration Form, listing the names of our groomsmen and family members which was kept on file in both the Chestnut Hill and Braintree locations. Once our out-of-state groomsmen called the store with their sizes and credit card information, Miltons shipped their suits free of charge! Several local family members visited the Braintree store and were fitted by General Manager Mark Sarkis. Both Tim and Mark were diligent in updating us with who had yet to be fitted and/or purchase their suit and we always felt as though someone was keeping us on-schedule. As for our overseas groomsman, he stopped at Miltons on his way home from the airport and Tim was able to have his suit fitted, tailored and pressed in time for our big day - what incredible customer service. Walking down the aisle on my wedding day, I couldn't have been more satisfied with what I saw waiting for me. Miltons outfitted our wedding party from head to toe - shirts, shoes, belts, etc - and the guys looked immaculate. Their confidence shined through in all of our pictures and video and we received a multitude of compliments with how well put together they were. Thank you so much to the Miltons team - managers, sales associates & tailors - for working so meticulously, and quickly, to construct the flawless vision I've dreamt of since I was a girl. Our wedding day really was picture-perfect.

Yelp
Madeline was so helpful and a pleasure to work with! Would definitely recommend her and Milton's! She ordered a suit they did not have in the color I wanted and called promptly when I could come in and try it on and see if I would like it! I loved it and I probably wouldn't have found the burgundy I was looking for if it wasn't for her!

Yelp
I'll never go back here again. I used to go here for all of my suiting needs because I like to support local businesses instead of other major chains. I've always gotten good service when I go here, except this week. On Monday I came by around 6pm after the gym looking for a suit. No one acknowledged me when I walked in. No one bothered to help me when I was trying on suits. I then sat at the area where they do the suit fitting for 10 minutes, and again, no one came up to me. They walked by, looked at me, and kept walking. I guess a guy with tattoos And gym clothes must not be their ideal customer. I finally gave up and left since they were too busy helping other people who walked in after me. I went by again today just to see if it was still bad. I walked in, again no one greeted me, just looked at me and kept doing their thing. Again, I'm wearing scrubby clothes since I just worked on my car. I finally flagged down renelle(sp) and told him I needed a suit. He looks at me and said "a suit?.....) and then gives me a judgemental lol as if I couldn't afford their suits. He picks out a random suit a had me try it on. It was a little too big. Normally they're suppose to ask my price range, style, and color. None of that. He just found the closest suit he could find and tossed me over to the suit fitting guy. I didn't even get a chance to look at other suits before this guy started fitting me. When I finally spoke up, he stated he found the closest one and if I wanted another style, then go look around. The suit fitter got frustrated because he already did the measurements. I don't blame him, there was lack of communication. I just fed up with the whole ordeal and now I'm at men's warehouse getting the suit that I need.

Yelp
I hate giving bad reviews but this experience left me completely shocked to the point where I feel the need to let people know. I wear suits everyday for my line of work, needless to say I'm a steady customer to many different establishments depending on my needs from my high quality Italian suits for special events to my get down and dirty everyday suits ( as much as you get down and dirty in a suit haha) I came into the store looking for some weekday suits, there was a sale for two for the price of $299 which for something that will be worn often a great deal. I clearly told this to the first employee that was helping me and he said no problem. After showing me a couple different suits he said he really only dealt with Shirts so was going to pass me on to another employee. I agreed and thanked him for his time and then reiterated to the new person helping me exactly what my needs were, the price I wanted to pay and to only show me those as these were going to be my day to day wear and tear suits. He quickly agreed and let me know it wouldn't be a problem. We found two that were perfect, fit amazing so I told them lets get them measured out for the tailor and get them going. I had not looked at the price tag because I trusted from our conversation that I wouldn't need to double check such a thing. After spending over an hour in the store and getting everything tried on, measured and then taken up to the front desk I was floored when all of a sudden there was a bill that exceeded 1,000 on the register. I was dumbfounded and quickly brought it to the cashiers attention that I wasn't shopping for this level of suit and there must be a problem. The sales clerk came back and tried to tell me it was worth the money because it looked so good on me and that I could obviously afford it. I politely told them that was not the price range I had conveyed to them. The person then gave me attitude and said well I guess we can start over again if you're not going to buy this. At this point I told them don't bother, I would not be doing business with them. Beware of the bait and switch that is going on here, upselling is one thing, going against a customer's instructions is completely different.

Yelp
I honestly dont understand why people come here. I came here twice for a suit and both times it did not come out how I wanted it. One suit I requested for was a slim fit and after it was tailored and I tried it on when I got home, it was not slim at all and no where near what I wanted and the length of it was too long. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. Save your money and go else where. I dont mean to sound harsh but both times my suit wasn't how I wanted it so money was wasted and the suit doesn't fit to my liking.

George T.

Yelp
Horrible, incompetent, morons work here. Nothing is ever ready when they say it will be. They do alterations that you don't want and then say your stuck with the suit because it's been altered. Do yourself the favor and go to men's warehouse and spend the extra money.

Yelp
I am shocked by these negative reviews. My experience at Miltons has been top notch every time I have visited. I got my wedding tux there, many golf shirts, slacks. You name it, they have it. I would ignore the negative reviews because their customer service stands above the rest.

Yelp
I emailed them looking for help with an upcoming interview. They promote being customer friendly. I gave days notice asking for help. No response. Amateur hour look elsewhere. Milton's is simply all talk. Just looking for the money money. Disappointed .

Yelp
I had a good experience with Milton's...I found a few Tommy H. Slacks at a fair price and purchased them online. Come to think of it, it was my first time buying clothes online. The sweater I ordered was a bit snug so I returned it and when I wanted a different brand yet similar style they were out of my particular size (I wanted a grey v-neck). It's was ok though, Brianne was very professional and the $10.00 restocking fee was waived in good faith, thank you !!...A satisfying transaction that shipped faster than expected.

Yelp
My better half and I went into this store thinking 'ugh, here we go' expecting a long, drawn out and not so pleasant experience. Man, were we wrong! Peter waited on us immediately and was extremely pleasant and helpful. I showed him a photo of a suit we both wanted (one black, the other grey) on their website and he pulled them out immediately. Within minutes we were being pinned by the tailor, who had a great sense of humor to boot. Then we were directed over to Londyn, who hooked us up with shirts and ties. He was really nice and helpful as well. Overall the whole experience was painless, quick and actually quite pleasant.. Peter juggled us along with a few others, but did it like a boss. Kudos to the staff at Milton's, it's always wonderful to see that good old fashioned customer service is not necessarily a thing of the past.

Yelp
Terrible. Guys, do yourself a favor and just Google around for suit rentals via the Internet (like Rent the Runway for guys). Or, consider a custom suit if you're going to buy since Milton's cheap Chinese suits need heavy tailoring and cost only 20% less than a full-on custom suit. I'm in a wedding this upcoming September 23rd. I went into the showroom. I talked with a sales guy, Von, who seemed nice enough. He noted they didn't have the blue suit pants in my size, 29", but they did have them in grey. So I tried those on, purchased the jacket, and was told they'd ship me the 29x30 pants in the first week of September. The first week of September goes by. No pants in the mail. No phone call. So I call Milton's to check on the status. I get the same guy, Von. He tells me they can't get the 29x30 pants because they'd have to special cut them with the manufacturer. He immediately starts pushing, me, hard on a pair of 30x30 pants, going as far as to ask for my credit card in these same sentence as the delivered bad news. I politely asked why I'm just hearing about this now, why no one has called to let me know. He blames it on the "vendor ordering person" and basically refuses to acknowledge the issue. He also tries to make it seem like size 29 and size 30 are the same thing. They're not. I'm 5'6", 125 pounds and a 29 waist. I take down the information on the pants to try and see if I can source them elsewhere. I can't find them, so I call back to reluctantly place an order on the 30x30 pants. At this point I've let the whole thing go, it is what it is. As Von is asking for my credit card I ask him how these are going to be shipped and when I should expect them. The wedding is in just over 2 weeks and tailoring takes time. He gives me a vague answer. I ask him if he can upgrade my shipping to overnight shipping or 2-day shipping. He then claims the delivery time will be the exact same and it's not worth upgrading. At this point, I get a bit pissed off but remain calm. Why can't Milton's extend the courtesy of upgrading the shipping? It's like a $20. Not that much in the grand scheme of things. Von refuses to upgrade the shipping. At this point, I give up. At the end of the call, as I'm saying thanks, he literally hangs up on me. Awful experience all around. I will give them one star, for getting the pants here this afternoon in the end. They're horribly baggy and my tailor quoted me $164 to bring in the jacket and pants. At this stage, I have $464 in a suit I'll only wear once and donate after. Everyone should avoid places like this like the plague and use internet rental companies or custom suit companies instead.

Yelp
Great prices and super customer service. An extremely nice gentleman , Mark helped me out and was helpful and courteous. I would recommend anyone to go for a good priced suit.

Yelp
Horrible experience, akin to buying a car! Staff was forward, rude and pushy. Two week wait for alterations, strong push to steer you to the highest priced items in the store. I did buy a suit, it seems like a fair price , but I will never step foot in there again after I pick it up.

Yelp
I really like this store! They have my size, all the time. It has what I need and it does not overwhelm me with too many choices. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They have a tailor on premises too. Good quality clothing at a fair price.

Yelp
Shame on the Katz family for allowing Gestapo style treatment in their stores. After spending over $3,500 ...I had a shirt that did not fit proper . Upon returning the shirt my wife was interrogated and bullied verbally by 2 employees about the return. Milton's GFY ...people spend your money elsewhere

Judy W.

Yelp
Excellent men's store. Gentlemen's were very kind and knowledgeable. Walked in told the man I need a suit for my son for tomorrow. Took us over to the separates size him up. Not pushy. My son was 5'10 and he suggested the shorter jacket which was right. He said if he was 5'11 then the regular would be fine. Measured him up for pants and they were perfect. We picked out a shirt and tie and was out in half hour. Thanks for making it so easy.

Yelp
They're liars and they don't care. We had a wedding in late September and they had sold the groom (my brother) on buying instead of renting suits at a discount because no one has this shade of blue and it is only a little more to purchase/keep. Within a week of us starting to get fitted they noted they didn't have sizes for multiple groomsmen so they once again upsold and said a suit that costs a bit more would have sizing for everyone. Once everyone finally started getting fitted they continued their talk track. "Its a great idea to buy. You'll love this lighter shade of blue. We will get these fitted perfect so you can look great at the wedding and at work." It comes time to pick up suits. Multiple groomsmen were sized incorrectly and needed to be refitted. The groom also had a pleasant surprise of finding out that the suits were NOT THE COLOR HE PICKED and it was a dark french/navy blue. A suit color that most of the world has which counteracts their entire sell. They said we were all wrong and thats what we were fitted for and sold on. Basically we were all ignorant liars and they were the professionals. Did not care and knew we couldn't turn anywhere else with the wedding so close. My father (father of the groom) had to be refitted 3 times due to tailoring mistakes and luckily got his suit a couple DAYS before the wedding. A few of us took the suits to our personal tailors once we realized their incompetence to find out that OUR SUITS WERE UNTOUCHED. Thats right, fresh out of the factory, multiple fittings and they did not even tailor the suits. Once again a massive lie that when confronted, told us we were wrong and seemingly could not care less. They knew they could take advantage of the mistake and instead of admitting it and keeping customers, they went for the quick sale. We needed the suits to match and they were happy to die on that hill. This place is the used car dealership of suits. None of this should be shocking since the first thing you see is a file cabinet of all their orders when you first walk in. Yes, they don't have your info stored in computers, they sift through order sheets for 15 minutes before they find your group. The 18 year olds at Mens Warehouse are twice as smart and professional as these "men." Go anywhere else, anywhere.

Yelp
I shop for most of my clothes at Milton's. Milton's is the only store at the South Shore Plaza that is fully dedicated in getting a man dressed. I get my work clothes here (shirts, ties, slacks, and shoes), suits for events, casual wear, and clothes for a night out on the town. They have great brands such as Mavi Jeans, Lacoste, Kenneth Cole, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, and many others. Their prices are competitive but come with plenty of cash in the wallet as the prices are not cheap. They do have excellent customer service and it is easy to build a rapport with them. The only downside to Milton's is that the quantities are limited for larger sizes of their selection (especially with the casual clothes).
google avatar

Yelp
I live in Chicago, but I visit my family in Boston about once a year. With each trip I always allow some time to buy clothing at Miltons (wish they had a store in Chicago). I like they're astonishing selection, ridiculously low prices and the help is incredibly good. In plain English, I dislike shopping for clothing unless I'm at Miltons.

Joe B.

Yelp
Peter keeps me coming back. I have a fairly "odd" build so I need a little special attention. Peter knows my style and my fit and always pulls something I like. The minute I walk in the guy is ready to jump into action.

Yelp
This review applies to both the Chestnut Hill location and Braintree locations... I initially went shopping in the Braintree location, and was looking for a suit that would last me a long time. When I explained this to the sales associate, he directed me towards the "best" suit they had on hand, and explained that it would last me 20 years, so would be well worth the extra $. I am always one to pay more for quality, so I went ahead with the purchase and laid down close to $800 for a hugo boss suit. I had the suit tailored in the store, and they told me I had "Lifetime tailoring" on the suit. I don't wear suits often, so fast forward about 1.5 years, and about 8 wears of this suit. I take the suit off after attending a business conference and notice that there's a gigantic hole in one of the pants! I figured, there must be some defect because a suit meant to last me 20 years certainly wouldn't rip in 8 wears, right? So, I go to the Chestnut hill store and speak to one of their tailors to see if he can fix the rip. He tells me, not a chance, but then he explains that it looks like the "professionals" at the Braintree store tailored and sized my suit too small. He explains that is why it ripped. So I then ask what we can do to remedy this situation, because obviously I didn't get what I paid for. Long story short, they tell me they can't do anything at this location, but that if I drive down to Braintree (a 45 mins drive!) the general manager Mark will take care of me. So, I drive down to that location, and when I speak with Mark he tells me that the best he can do is have his tailor at that location try and fix the pants. (Didn't his other tailor JUST get done telling me it can't be fixed?). I asked if they could replace the pants. He says that because it's 1.5 years old, there's nothing they can do. He explains that it probably ripped because I wore it too aggressively (I work all day at a desk, and barely wore the thing). So much for 20 years!!!! Oh, and he adds that they've since discontinued the "Lifetime tailoring" so I would no longer receive that benefit. REALLYY?!! So glad I just drove all the way down there for nothing. Finally, Mark says he's going to speak to the owner and see what they can do. A few weeks later the GM calls while I am in Africa, so I call him back about 3 weeks after he first called me. Basically, he says that they can't fix the suit (which was established by his own people in Chestnut hill), but would be willing to replace it for 1/2 price. Okay....fine. He tells me he has to check his inventory and will call me back. 1 month later, still no call back. I'm done with this chain. If you want a poorly tailored, unsupported suit and don't mind rolling the dice just to see the thing rip in less than 10 wears this is the chain for you. As for me, I'll pay a little more to shop at Nordstrom or another chain where I know I'll get what I pay for, and no questions asked returns are ALWAYS an option. I'm completely unsatisfied and feel as though I threw my hard-earned money down the toilet.

Yelp
I'm a shopper who does appreciates customer service, quality, and affordability ---in that order. Milton's is the perfect blend of all three. My Milton's experiences have ALWAYS been top notch. Note that I've only been to the Newton location. I tend to buy my suits in swarms. When the suits start to look a little shabby, I'll go out and buy a bunch to replace the worn lot. Recently, I noticed that my suits were looking a little rough around the edges (literally), so I headed over to Milton's. I was helped by Philip, who was a straight shooter; if it didn't look good on you or it looked great on you, you were going to hear it. His critique of whether something looked good on you had NO tie to the price tag. I appreciate that type of honesty. I never got the feeling that he was trying to make a sale. In any case, I ended up making my way to the very talented tailor with four suits and down to the cashiers' area to pay. As I was paying for my stuff, the gentleman behind the counter was very helpful as well. We chit chatted and as I'm leaving, he introduces himself as Dana Katz, hands me a business card, and tells me that if I ever need anything else to give him a call. ---In case, you haven't heard the radio commercials, Dana Katz is the president of Milton's. Of the three things that I value (customer service, quality, and affordability), customer service is by far the hardest to come by. Milton's is a high customer service store that does it right. Their drive to provide high customer service clearly starts at the top and has permeated throughout the company. Go there if you want great customer service. Go there if you want to look good.

Andy P.

Yelp
Here's my problem. I've purchased a suit here before. Without a doubt, it's a great looking one, but the process of getting there was frustrating. When I'm throwing in a couple hundred dollars, I expect excellent service from salesmen who at least know their stuff. I want them to at least know the difference between a sports coat, a blazer, and a suit jacket. The guy I was interacting with... didn't know jack! He was more focused on MAKING A SALE. I know, that's his job, but I need an honest salesman. I told him what color I wanted, got measured, and I was handed a variety of suit jackets. The first one was too big... he said it looked really good. I knew it was too big, I went a size down... he said it looked really good. I wasn't happy, went down and down. He still said it looks good? So wait, which one looked good? Utterly Useless. The only pleasant guy was the tailor in the back. He was honest and gave an actual OPINION on areas where I lacked knowledge. He knew what size to go for, where to cut fabric and make it fit me. While that useless sales guy is smiling and telling me "looks good". cmon guy, go sell clothes at target or something. I'd go somewhere else. The only reason I'd go here is because of the BOGO. But like everyone else, I tried giving Milton's another chance, and never again. I walk in, stay a bit, no one acknowledges me, and I leave. Go somewhere else with better people that can offer better knowledge and better service. The tailor saved them from getting a one star.

Yelp
I have to say I completely agree with all the comments posted so far. This store is great! They really understand the value of good customer service. Take care of the client, don't just be fake happy and shiny because it is what is expected of you. My fiance had a job interview and his only suit, bought at Macy's 2 years prior, was looking a little shabby. Joe helped us at the South Shore Plaza Store. He was truly engaged and concerned about how my fiance would look at the interview (and beyond). He was also very patient with my mother, who was shopping with us, and me, who was concerned about a budget. I've come out of stores like Men's Warehouse and even Macy's and not really felt like anyone cared about their own clothes, the clothes they were selling or how they look on the client. But with the way Miltons treats their clients, they just got a customer for life!

Yelp
The sales associate was awful. I came in on a Thursday night with all of my groomsmen, expecting to make a purchase of 6 suits for my wedding. My fiance and I had already went shopping ahead of time and chosen the suit that he liked for the groomsmen. The sales associate told my groomsmen they had to settle with sizes that did not fit them because that location only had a limited number in stock. However, I just looked on the Miltons.com website and all of the sizes are available. Moreover, one of my groomsmen asked the sales associate to let him try on the pants that went with the suit and he said that he didn't have to try it on. So, it was a complete waste of my time to coordinate all of my groomsmen to come to a suit fitting where they weren't even allowed to try on the whole suit! The awful service is unbelievable and I would not give them the commission on this large purchase.

Yelp
I'm 43 and have never owned a suit... I explained this to Michael and he treated me with patience and respect anyway! Got a great deal on two suits and some advice from Tushawn... These guys were great and if in the next 43 years I need more suits I will come here again!

Yelp
One of the managers was super helpful upon our first visit. We decided to go with Milton's for that reason. Well. The other visits just sucked. They were SO disorganized. Terrible customer service on the phone. Ordered so many wrong things, didn't follow up when orders came in. "Tailored" a shirt but yet it was so baggy. I'm so aggravated that our experience was less than pleasant. (Braintree location)

Yelp
Had excellent professional service! I worked with an associate named Peter. He was so helpful, worked with me every step of the way. As a woman who wears men's clothes, I felt especially taken care of. I would send all of my friends here.

Yelp
The Chestnut Hill store has an immense selection. My husband just purchased a Kangol winter hat in grey. The price was discounted. The customer service was excellent. The store is feshly painted and immaculately clean.

Yelp
We always have excellent luck here. Most recently, Peter was an amazing help. He was about to leave for the day when he noticed my fiancé needed some help, so he stayed late and found him the perfect fitting pants. He was not pushy, just wonderful.

Yelp
I am a tough customer who will squeeze everything I can for every penny I spend. Milton's is truly the tough customer Mecca. Two advisors worth notable mention are Ron and Ron. These guys combined have helped me try on more than 50 or so suits over the course of the past year, only 7 or 8 of which I've actually purchased. Takeaway is great value, great fitting suits and expert tailoring. These guys are a class act. If you want a comfortable place to shop and some friendly no pressure expertise, please visit Ron or Ron at the Braintree store.

Yelp
I just picked up my suit and I'm very impressed. Akeeno helped find the perfect suit and Darrell helped to find the best shirt shoes and belt. When I came back to pick up after the alterations it fit perfectly. Peter was there at pick up and made sure everything fit great. Customer service is obviously important here. Will be recommending to everyone

Yelp
I have worked for a law firm in Downtown Boston, for the past 19+ years. In this industry what you wear most of the times is as important as what you say. Of all the stores I have gone to for cloths, Milton's is by far my favorite. Their collection of formal and casual men's wear is the best. What makes it even better is the service I have received over the years. Their salesman, Jose, is the best I have ever dealt with. He is friendly and extremely sharp when it come to what he does. He either remembers my size or can tell what it is just by looking at me, regardless which it's refreshing. To be able to deal with someone who is as good as the quality of the clothes you will buy. I recommend everyone I know to go to Milton's and if possible to see Jose.

Yelp
I don't know where to begin when it comes to explaining the outstanding customer service at Miltons in Braintree. My husband and I decided to go with go with Miltons for the suits for our wedding. They were very helpful and easy to work with while choosing the suit we wanted. As the wedding got closer and the wedding party had all come in to be measured and order their suits, they told us we were cutting it close and my father in law had to come in as soon as possible to be measured. I explained to them that he was sick and we weren't sure if he'd be able to make it in and they were kind enough to show me where to measure him if I needed to do it and they would make it work. In the blink of an eye it seemed that our world was crashing down around us when my father in law ended up in a hospice home 2 weeks before our wedding. He was so concerned with having his suit tailored that the hospice home took it upon themselves to call Miltons and see what they could do. Miltons then sent one of their employees to the home and he sat with my father in law for a half an hour measuring him. This all came to our knowledge later that day and we could not believe that they would do that for us without any of us even knowing. They did not charge us for the visit and did not make us buy the suit, but the kindness they have shown us is something we will never forget. My father in law did not make it to the wedding and my mother in law went a few weeks after to return the shirt she had purchased for him to find out they have a 30 day return policy. The woman working asked what wedding it was for and when she heard she hugged my mother in law and said she had been thinking of us all and then allowed her to return the shirt. I will never ever be able to thank the employees here enough for all they did for us. Not many businesses these days are run this way and I will be a forever returning customer. I wish I could remember the names of the employees who helped us, but it is so refreshing to know there are still kind people in the world.
