Mimi Review - Greenwich Village - New York - The Infatuation

"Mimi is a sexy restaurant. Not “sexy” in the way a lifestyle magazine would describe a Meatpacking lounge that has a lot of couches, but legitimately sexy. Legitimately sexy in the sense that everyone we’ve brought here has left saying, in some form, that this restaurant made them want to go home and have sex in a bathtub. Mimi is a tiny little spot in Greenwich Village with dim lighting, ice cold martinis, a marble bar, tables that are extremely close to each other, and a general aura of cool French person-ness. Once again: sexy. It’s possible that your next question is: “But what about the food?“, but it’s also quite likely that it’s not. Because the food at a vibey restaurant like this is usually besides the point. Chop up some tuna tartare, shuck some oysters, stir some strong drinks, maybe cook a decent steak frites, and throw on a cool playlist, right? Except, wrong. Which is what makes Mimi a restaurant we like so much. In fact, Mimi’s daily-changing menu is actually one of the most serious you’ll find in a not-too-serious restaurant. You’ll find monkfish liver mixed with your vegetables, sea urchin mixed with your gnocchi, and pork rillettes to start everything off. If you’re into blood sausage, you can have that, too. And the only tartare we’ve seen at Mimi is veal. Most restaurants serving these ingredients tend to be where the waiters are in suits, which Mimi is decidedly not. The menu is handwritten, the waiters wear white t-shirts, and so on. If you like to stick to fish and chicken, you’ll find those here, too, and you can definitely still have a good meal doing so. But the fun of Mimi, really, is pairing a bottle of red with some innards. That’s sexy, right? Food Rundown Ankimo Mimi mixes ankimo, Japanese-style monkfish liver, with vegetables (we had it with porcini mushrooms) as a starter, and the result is extremely delicious. If you like foie gras, you’ll like this - think of it as a lighter, seafood-ier version. Bibb Lettuce Not sure what they put in the champagne vinaigrette exactly, but it might be crack. A simple but delicious salad. Bonito There’s a good chance you’ll see some kind of raw fish on the menu. Order it. Riz Noir Black squid ink risotto, topped with grilled squid and shavings of bottarga. Never seen this dish before, would definitely like to see it again. Roast Chicken A tasty, reliable option if you’re not as into trying something new. The chicken tends to be on the moist side, so don’t expect the dried out crispy bird you’ll find at so many restaurants." - Hillary Reinsberg

Visited for breakfast as a large party and had no issues getting seated with our reservation. We had Geo as our sever and he was friendly and attentive. The food came out rather quickly and was delicious as usual. Our party tried a little bit of everything. I had the crab Benedict and if you’re a Benedict person i would highly recommend. I love how they offer the full menu all day. This place is very popular so be sure to make a reservation.

I met up with a friend from Virginia at Mimi’s Cafe — it was the perfect spot for us to catch up and enjoy a great meal together. I’m so glad we chose it! The French toast was absolutely delicious, and the portions were HUGE — definitely no one leaving hungry here. Our waitress was fantastic — super friendly and really helpful when I couldn’t decide what to order. Thanks to her suggestions, I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The customer service all around was wonderful — everyone made us feel welcome and taken care of. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu because everything we saw looked so good! Highly recommend for great food, great service, and a great place to slow down and enjoy good company.

Our customer service experience wasnt that great but the food was really good. We ordered a couple of items and one of them werent available. Everything was good. The attendant seemed very confused and messed up a couple of times. I would still go back for their veg crepes and coffee. It was pretty good.

The outdoor seating was so lovely. We got cappuccinos, and I regret not taking a photo of them—the tall glasses and whipped cream were so esthetic! Our meal arrived quickly and it tasted great. It was a perfect summer brunch!

I took my bestie for a late breakfast and it was delicious! We had the mushroom and bri omelette with potatoes and it was cooked to perfection 😋 Our server Dre was great and very attentive. We are looking forward to coming back for lunch or dinner.

Google
Ask them to go light on the cajun spices on potatoes! The crepes were a little overdone. Waiter... well he was OK when you could find him

Have been here a few different times. The consistency of the food isn't always the same, but it's never terrible. Last few times the corned beef was burnt. This time I had the Tres Leches pancakes and they were delicious!

Google
The service and food are always great. I've never had anything here that didn't taste good, and it has never come out cold. However, it's pretty loud in here unless you come at a time there aren't many people.

Yelp
The food was excellent and deserves a 5* review. Our waiter was great, except that he was also acting as a bartender, so the service was slow. My issue was the Manager, he gets ZERO STARS. The fact that today, January 20th was Martin Luther King Day-as it is every year. Yes, it was also Inauguration Day. All of the tv's were on the inauguration, with no regard to clientele that feel the importance of MLK Jr Day. When the manager was asked to put half of the tv's on MLK Day celebrations/reporting, he outright refused. Instead, he turned off one tv in our dining room. Several staff members overheard the request and came by our table to express their agreement. This manager is representative of the restaurant and showed himself to be a racist, as well as someone who disregards anyone (including his staff) else's feelings. Also, the manager said he never plays sports on the TV, and yet the next thing we saw was football. So he is also a liar. See photos below.

Yelp
Mimi's Café in Greensboro turned out to be the perfect spot for our holiday work lunch for nine--once we managed to snag our table, that is. With advance reservations made through OpenTable, we arrived with hopes of a seamless start to our festive feast. But the restaurant was buzzing, and a few large parties ahead of us created a slight delay. Let's just say the extra minutes spent standing around gave us a chance to grow even hungrier (and more creative with our gift-swap banter). Once seated, the service was quick and efficient, clearly making up for lost time. Our server gracefully handled the chaos of a nine-person order with the precision of Santa packing his sleigh. The food followed suit, bringing a mix of indulgence and comfort to our plates. The grilled salmon was a highlight, its smoky seasoning perfectly paired with crispy fries and steamed broccoli that somehow made us feel virtuous. The fruit-topped French toast made its appearance as the star of the show, oozing festive energy with vibrant berries and powdered sugar snow. On the savory side, the omelets and roasted potatoes received high marks for their hearty portions and just-right seasoning. And then there were the cinnamon swirl pancakes--a sweet, sticky slice of holiday heaven. We might have come to discuss year-end business, but those pancakes had us seriously contemplating dessert as an entrée for our next visit. All in all, Mimi's Café delivered a delightful holiday lunch experience. Despite the small hiccup at the start, the efficient service and tasty dishes ensured we left full, happy, and probably slightly less productive for the rest of the afternoon. Here's to another year of great food and even better company!

Yelp
First time here. We had a delightful lunch here. Our server was great, he answered my questions quickly and confidently. A+. Roasted turkey plate (Thanksgiving Dinner) was good, the stuffing not quite as moist as he likes. The crème brûlée was the star of the show for my husband. That is his favorite dessert and he felt they did a very good job. I have the mushroom brie burger with au gratin potatoes, and a side salad Kitsch perfectly great blend of flavors yummy delicious! Since this was our first time, our waiter Gave us a blueberry muffin to take home with us that's great Customer Service. My only complaint is that it's very noisy here, very busy, so intimate conversations may not take place very often here. The menu is wide and vast and I think we'll be back because there's many things we want to try.

Yelp
First time visiting Mimi's Cafe in Friendly Center, and it was a pleasant experience overall! The parking is convenient with plenty of spaces, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was looking forward to trying a cappuccino with oat milk, but unfortunately, they didn't have milk alternatives (or it wasn't clear if they offered any), so I opted for a regular coffee instead. Still, it was a nice start to the meal. For breakfast, I ordered the Classic Benedict. It was tasty and exactly what you'd expect from a classic spot like Mimi's. The restaurant has a familiar, comforting vibe, and you know what you're getting when you dine here. A solid choice for a reliable meal!

Yelp
Sunday brunch with friends and it was a fun time. Had a 45 min wait, but we did some shopping while we waited. The breakfast was good, I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was the usual brunch crowd.

Yelp
Went here for their Valentine's menu and it was really cute. I love their different rooms. The service was stellar. They took us for our reservation right on time, our server Grace was top notch. I love that they pre-bus their tables but are not pushy at all. Their little bald bus guy was also so good at his job. As someone who was a previous server in a past life I can tell you him and Grace are top assets to this establishment. The manager was also making rounds to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. I'd also like to add the previous review had me tickled to see this place for myself. I'm not sure who goes out to eat and is focused on the tvs, but it's 100% not me. We will definitely be back. The braised short rib and corn chowder were delicious and enough for me to have lunch today also. My bf's Caesar salad was not lacking either, he also got the short ribs and had a little to take home. And last but not least, he got the butter toffee cake and was "pleasantly surprised by the flavor". Perfect balance with the a la mode. Well done, Mimi's, well done.

Yelp
This place was flooded with people. I was surprised on how large the restaurant was, as it didn't appear to be from the outside. But it was really busy, and I think service was impacted because of it. The group that I was with waited a long time for our food, and when it finally came it was a bit cold. I wasn't too upset about it because like I said the place was packed.

Yelp
I reserved a table in advance through their website just in case. My visit was during the afternoon on a Sunday. Sunday breakfast/brunch has historically been busy. My table was available when I arrived. We had the most pleasant waiter. He was funny, knowledgeable and attentive. They have a nice size menu that I believe will cater to different appetites. I ordered the quiche Lorraine with a side salad/house dressing. My daughter ordered the French toast/eggs and sausage. The food arrived timely. The quiche is a nice size. You will definitely get full. It was delightful. Nice fluffy eggs in a nice flavorful crust. The ingredients tasted fresh. My daughter loved her French toast. She was so full from the toast that she didn't eat her eggs. Her sausages were tiny. I would expect the nice full size sausages at this price point. It has been a while since I've visited this restaurant and I am glad I can add it back into my rotation.

Yelp
Waitress was friendly and efficient. The avocado toast and fruit was delicious. Went for brunch on a Saturday so was very busy and loud. It's not typically that loud. Parking was convenient.

Yelp
Went kind of late on a weeknight - not busy... at all. Our service was exceptional - outstanding even - but our food was subpar. I ordered crepes with a salad and hubby had wings. He liked his wings - but this guy loves all wings. I had one - it just wasn't my thing. My salad was full of less than fresh veggies which was really off putting and once picked through I only had a few pieces of lettuce that were edible. I was surprised someone put it on a plate and thought, "yeah... give them that!" Crepes were just ok. If I was starving and this was the only thing open, I would return... albeit not happily.

Yelp
My grandma and I visited on a week day for lunch around 2pm. Service was excellent. Quick and very helpful. I ordered the sandwich & salad trio. It also came with fries. So I got a side Caesar salad which was DELISH. Lots of parm and dressing. For my sandwich I got the turkey royale: basically a diced turkey with mayo and cranberries. Like a chicken salad but with turkey. Came with tomato and lettuce and I added onion and provolone cheese. Loved it. Very tasty. And I loved the fries. Over all, very good.

Yelp
Gluten free options were horrible! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone gluten free. But the ambiance and Service was great!

Yelp
Having brunch with the family at Mimi's Cafe'. Definitely a great spot in Greensboro for any occasion. Service was great, as we were seated pretty quickly. The menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from. Definitely like the decor' all around the restaurant. Our food choices were pretty good. Servers were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Definitely a great spot to come enjoy some great food and service.

Nakia B.

Yelp
Service was fairly good but the food was cold when it came out and not seasoned at all!! The waffles were over cooked, not fluffy but very dense. Crepes were terrible. Overpriced and overrated!! Not a good experience at all. Food was HORRIBLE

Yelp
This spot is what I call all inclusive, good food, beverage and people. The menu has a lot to choices so while you decide order a mimosa flight lol. Everything looks good so you'll be stuck between breakfast, lunch or dinner. Wings all day, umm word is good. The breakfast was amazing. Hands down everything was good. Our server candun was outstanding and yes we plan to return. When you're done you can't leave without getting their famous muffins.

Tommye S.

Yelp
I ordered the fish & chips, the fish was over cooked & I don't like skinny fries They replaced it with turkey club, much better!
google avatar

Morena G.

Yelp
A lot of my friends and colleagues pick this place for breakfast or brunch. I love their tomato basil soup and pair it with a veggie melt sandwich. The staff is nice and service is good. It's spacious ti accommodate big parties.

Yelp
It's been a while since going to Mimi's , the food is still great. Our server Rebecca was amazing. We will be coming back
google avatar

Yelp
Service was excellent, the waitress Ayanna is awesome, friendly & attentive. The atmosphere was cool. The good was good. Although my steak had to much char on it & we felt the potatoes that came with the food should have been better, mine needed to be more crispy & flavorful. My friend said his had a bad after taste. I had the triple berry sweet tea & my friend had the mimosa flight. The app trio is good. Chicken just needed some seasoning & bread should have been a bit toasted for texture with the dip. I would come back & try other options for sure.

Yelp
Went for Mothers Day, and I had reservations thru open table. We had to wait about 20 minutes after our reservation time. Considering how busy they were, that's not too bad. I was disappointed in their menu. Apparently, for Mothers Day, it was a total of 8 entrée options that included salad and dessert for $32.00 per meal (÷2.00 for the steak option). One of the main reasons we'd chosen Mimi's was because of their extensive menu, and everyone would be able to order whatever they liked. Obviously, this didn't happen. Our waitress was friendly and did a good job, but the food runners missed one person at our table. We had to ask for her food, and it was one of the Mom's. Considering how busy it was, it wasn't too loud, and we were about to converse among ourselves. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. I was just sad it wasn't what we wanted.

Yelp
Been here several times. Food is always great, service is too. Easy to get to and plenty of parking.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to have afternoon breakfast and visited this establishment. The parking lot was very crowded but we didn't have e to wait to be seated. We were seated back room that's kind of separated from the main dining area. OMG! It was freezing is this room. There was a clear drop in temperature when we stepped through the entryway. I mentioned this the waiter and he asked that the heat be turned up but the room never warmed up. My husband and I both ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and he got a waffle and I ordered pancakes. We were starving so when the food came out we were ready to eat. The eggs and bacon were COLD. I mean cold as if they had sat waiting for a while. The pancakes were luke warm and my husband's waffle was cold and crunchy. My husband has a stomach of stone and started his food anyway. I'm already freezing and cold breakfast is disgusting! I informed the waiter and he said he would have it remade. I agreed although I was very annoyed by then. My toes were cold and I was wearing UGG boots, so yeah, I'm annoyed. Not 2 minutes after I told the waiter the food was cold, the manager came out. She apologized and assured me that she would keep an eye on the remake. The food came out shortly afterwards piping hot and delicious. I changed my star from a 2 to a 3 because they made it right however, being so cold was very uncomfortable.

Yelp
We had a party of 8 (2 kiddos) so expecting hiccups whenever it's a large party. We had a reservation on Open Table so we're sat right away. They brought a sling for our infant in car seat. Waiter was very attentive and very great service. When our toddler's food came, we realized hostess sat us without any silverware so had to get attention of 4 people all standing right behind us at the hostess station to request for some. Waiter forgot to put in our appetizer order so luckily it wasn't on our bill. It wasn't a big deal so all the portions were big & food was good quality. My hubby got the mimosa flight & it was more juice ratio.
google avatar

Mr. K.

Yelp
Well, ok at best. Really, it's an overpriced diner, this fact is revealed when you examine the quality of bread used for toast and that they serve Smuckers jam with it - good jam isn't expensive, at these prices it's not unreasonable to expect a little better than the worst. Service was good, though perhaps they should think to spread people out when the place isn't busy, there was no need to seat us next to a screaming kid with ~10 other booths/tables available.
google avatar

Valerie L.

Yelp
The service was quick and attentive for a Saturday night. The food was good portions. Unfortunately, they were sold out of pineapple upside down muffin so unable to try it.
google avatar

Angie C.

Yelp
If I'm being honest anytime I go to Mimi's Cafe, I only go for the breakfast options, the breakfast options are great. I always get the pain Perdue with only strawberries since I'm not a big fan of blue berries, any time I go I always ask for Gio, he's always attentive, great attitude, and always makes us laugh. I wouldn't ask for any other server, I always call ahead to make sure he's there because service with great attitude and great food is always the best combo! Seriously, get the mimosa flight when you stop by (also recommended by Gio last I was there), let me tell you it was really good especially after a long day.
google avatar

Antoniette M.

Yelp
I loved the quick delivery and the delicious food. I've been going to Mimi's for years and love the detail to flavor profiles and everything in between.
google avatar

Jnelle H.

Yelp
Kyle is the worst and obviously don't like his job. I called to place an order and he acted as if I was bothering him. He was not pleasant at all. Then I called because i noticed my online order went through ( I originally thought i didn't go through) and wanted to be sure I wasn't charged twice. He was unhelpful and very nonchalant. He asked if I had the order number which I didn't have because their website FROZE. So nothing went through or so I thought. Do better when picking out management Mimis. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get my money back because your website is faulty.

Lita S.

Yelp
We went to Mimi's Cafe to celebrate time together. We enjoyed an extra large booth that was roomy. The staff were friendly and attentive. I had a chopped Cobb and it was pretty big. I didn't love the ham... it tasted off. Maybe old? So I didn't eat much of it. Others had the pancakes and eggs, chicken pot pie - that's amazing, and the omelet. All was pretty good. The atmosphere was awesome. We had a great time. In addition our server was so attentive and helpful! Thank you!

Coya T.

Yelp
Meet up with my family to eat here. Waiter was great and very attentive. Food was ok. I ordered a waffle which was very thick but didn't bother sending it back
google avatar

Erin P.

Yelp
Had brunch there this morning and ordered the apple crepes with bacon and scrambled eggs. I had coffee and water to drink and everything was really good. They weren't really busy so my waiter was very attentive. The eggs and bacon were cooked to expectations and the cinnamon sauce for the crepes was really good. The only thing that would have made it even better was it if the sauce was warm. Definitely will be to back though!
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
I was there for breakfast this morning. At 8:30 it was not very busy; by 10:45, when I left, it was humming. The service was particularly good today - the waitstaff were efficient, knowledgeable and unobtrusive. The prices are at the upper end of breakfast prices but the variety of menu items justifies the prices. Their muffins are delicious, but caloric intense (many calories). I like this restaurant but I'm a small breakfast eater so it was too much for me. Give it a try

Yelp
Is Mimi for Youyou? As I get close to writing my 100th review, it has become quite apparent to me that it is virtually impossible for me to give a chain five stars. I know many people that absolutely love chains. If they can choose between Olive Garden or the incredible Salvino's up on Battleground, they prefer to go to an Olive Garden because they saw a commercial on TV and this plastic and neuter Italian restaurant comes with those air filled breadsticks and salad . To each his own, but I don't get it! So when Devon and I wanted to go out for Saturday brunch, we were sad to say that some of our favorites like Smith Street Diner were no longer around. We settled in on Mimi's at Friendly Shopping Center since we had not been there in a long time, it had been several years since I was there and it was the possibility to write another Yelp elite review since I hadn't been there since I became a Yelp writer. Like all chains go, it has a pretty exterior that is well maintained but nothing unique about it. The inside is enormous and so we were seated immediately. Nice spacious booths. I almost had a heart attack when I got the menu. Why are chains so expensive? I always find them to be more money than the Mom and Pop establishments and not nearly the quality as the restaurants that are owned and operated by family and Mom and Pop do the cooking. All I wanted was some eggs with toast but you could not get away with anything for less than $15 unless you wanted a bowl of oatmeal. I was shocked. I took Devon's advice and ordered eggs benedict since I have never had them before or maybe had it a long time ago when I was working on a cruise ship. The coffee kept coming, the service was fine and I thought the eggs benedict was very tasty. It was fun to try something new. I've seen them offered before on cruise ships and now I know next time to order them. Close to $40 for two for breakfast at a chain! That was a tough one to swallow. Devon assured me that all restaurants have gotten more expensive and chains tend to be on the pricey side. I don't get it! And that's all I have to say. I'm sorry my review is not more interesting but neither was the restaurant. It's fine, and if you like a chain it will probably knock your socks off but I just don't think I can give it any more than 3 stars. There's something special about patronizing restaurants and businesses that are still family owned and operated. They have such a different feel and I like being part of that atmosphere, but, if it's Saturday morning and you are looking to grab brunch without a long wait at a convenient spot with quick service and decent food and don't mind the chain and the crazy prices, this could be a good option!

Yelp
Extremely overpriced for amount of food, service level, and atmosphere. Will pick other spots in Greensboro before returning.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting the great little place for an amazing breakfast. A taste of New Orleans, accompanied by some wonderful artwork and decor that keep your eyes busy. Our waiter was very busy, but very knowledgeable, quick to answer any questions. Our orders were taken, condiments brought out with our drinks. I love organization!! The food was plated perfectly. The delectable smells make you want to try a little of everything . We ordered the stuffed French toast with strawberry drizzle accompanied by fresh cut strawberries and blueberries, cheesey eggs and bacon. I can't wait to try the lunch/dinner. The photos in the menu look so good. We are coming back soon Ms. Mimi... Drop in and ENJOY!!! High five

Yelp
I reserved a table for 12 for a post-wedding Sunday brunch on 9/15/24. We were traveling in 4 separate vehicles from 4 separate locations, and we knew one group of 3 would arrive about 5-10 minutes after our reservation time (11AM). The hostess, whose name I did not get, unfortunately, Declined to seat us until our complete party had arrived, because their "policy" is the entire party must be ready. something about sitting at a table and waiting to order until everyone has arrived, or some thing like that. My daughter told her we would be ordering as soon as the assigned wait staff was ready to take our order, and most likely our missing threesome would have arrived by then (They did). She reminded her that the table was sitting unused as long as she kept us waiting in the entryway. Hostess then had her assistant seat us. Table for 12 was two tables of different heights pushed together; two members of our party were left to deal with a non-flat table. Together, the two tables could have reasonably seated 8, so we all had to watch our elbows. Table was so close to neighboring tables that we had to ask neighboring diners to move so we could get out to visit the restroom, I think the food may have been good, but I had such a bad taste in my mouth that I could not enjoy it. I don't expect to return to Mimi's.
google avatar

Quaniqua M.

Yelp
I've been twice and each time, our servers have been extremely friendly. I really enjoy them and they have been helpful both times. The food is not all that good. Both times, the food lacked seasoning and just isn't all that tasty. We went for Valentine's Day this Wednesday and my friend ordered a kid cheeseburger for her daughter and the patty was so small it was barely half the size of the bun. (will post pic once she sends it. The food is overpriced for the quality

Yelp
Mimi's the most mediocre breakfast in GSO. The place is spacious and New Orleans themed. The food doesn't live up to the theme. Much of everything seemed to be either over cooked or cooked previously and reheated. For the amount of time it took for the food to make it to the table everything should have been more fresh.

Katelynn R.

Yelp
I am all about vibes and service. I have come to Mimi's for a little over a year, the food is really good and I have NEVER had an experience like I did today. I came here with my girlfriend because she wanted to experience Mimi's breakfast. The lady who was maybe a manager, was talking to two hostesses didn't even look at us and when she did she did not acknowledge my girlfriend and I standing there. We got put in the back corner dining, and sat down to wait for a waiter or waitress to take our order. There were multiple associates walking around us, and no one acknowledged us that we were waiting for a while but the person who was cleaning the floors. One girl came to get our drinks and said that our waitress would be right over to us. We watched as people were being seated on the other side of the restaurant, we saw servers helping guests, and still we were waiting to even get a "hi how are you?" This will be the reason I never return to Mimi's, because on a slow Sunday with plenty of people working to take our order, we were the lucky ones to wait over 10 minutes for someone to even say hi to us. Also, once they saw we were walking out the door they asked "is everything okay?" What service.

Yelp
Food is fantastic. Tonight I had the parmesan crusted chicken with linguini and it's always really good. I highly recommend the Caramel Apple Pie for dessert. Delicious. My son had the French Quarter burger with fries and enjoyed it. My husband enjoyed the Slow Roasted Turkey dinner. Service is always good. The ambiance is inviting and relaxing.

Yelp
Mimi's in located in Friendly Center. It seemed like a busy place. I didn't have a wait as I somehow timed it in between the first and second lunch crowd. The service was pretty good here. Breakfast is served all day so that was tempting but I went with the chicken pot pie. I was pleased with the size and taste of the pot pie. I'd dine at Mimi's again.

Yelp
Mimi's famous Pain Perdu (pan pare due) literally translates to "lost bread" because stale bread makes the best French toast. But let me tell you, there was nothing stale about this dish. Mimi's stuffs each piece with orange marmalade and cream cheese. I don't usually like orange marmalade but this called to me and I wasn't disappointed. At. All. The platter was huge and had 4 full slices of bread and it came with 2 eggs any style and choice of meat. The crispy bacon was perfect to alternate salty sweet. My friend got the same thing. Yummy!!

Yelp
Went for brunch. Slow service, errors in order, mediocre food, tired decor. Will not return

Yelp
I haven't been to Mimi's in quite some time so I was excited to go back. We had a group of 7 people. We had been told we would be in the Winery but when we arrived they had another event going on in the room. We were seated in the main area and it worked but it was louder than we had hoped and the tables didn't go together well so there were awkward seams of different heights for those in the middle. The food was average. I ordered the corn beef hash Benedict. I was pleased you could order breakfast for dinner but it wasn't the best I've had. It was rather bland and a little cold. There wasn't much seasoning in the corned beef but they were nice large chunks of meat. I had the side of potatoes and they were undercooked. It's not a place I would run to again but it was OK for a chain style dinner.

Yelp
What went well was "Dra" the fantastic waiter! If it was not for his terrifc service...the score would much lower. I made this reservation for a retirement dinner for my best friend about 3 months ago (to beat the holudays & Furniture Market). I confirmed it (a few times) yet a week before they almost acted like they had no room. We had a retirement dinner next to a girls 16 year old birthday party! Not the kind of noise I was expecting!! I had 18 of the 20 people there and we had fun anyway. Dra knew we were paying separately and there was absolutely no confusion, which impressed me. He suggested a drink.. that I loved! And had a pleasant attitude dispute the screaming teenage girls who were directly next to us!! I had the pot roast which was delicious, as usual. All of the orders were perfect! Dra made the difference.Even though I don't want to return, I would if he was waiting on our table. Many friends there want to do this again but I would have to go elsewhere. Not good for a group event.

Yelp
This place is a great for brunch. The ambiance of soft music playing in the background in a nice comfy booth. Made it better! Our server was great, and attentive. We started off with the Brie, which wasn't the greatest. So I was starting to think we made a mistake. Until our food arrived: Sunrise omelette, pain Perdue with mixed berries, and kids buttermilk griddle cakes. Very delicious! And had plenty of leftovers! The omelette had just the right heat and the French toast was delicious! My little one loved her little "puppy" pancake but couldn't wait for a picture before picking at it hahaha. 9/10 would go back! :)

Yelp
Everything was delicious, beautiful presentation, and the atmosphere was delightful. Our waitress was fantastic, made sure we had our to-go order in precisely the right amount of time, and checked on us several times to make sure we loved everything. Very impressed! We will be back on our next trip to Greensboro! Consider me wowed!

Yelp
I have no idea why this restaurant gives me the warm and fuzzy feel, but it does. Perhaps it is the delicious muffins. The service, the variety of the menu also helps. Service is friendly. I have always enjoyed everything I have ordered. Will I be back? Of course.

Yelp
I had bacon, spinach, Brie omelette with a warm croissant and their style potatoes. The omelette was amazingly delicious, their potatoes had a little to spicy seasoning for my likes but the warm croissant got the spot To drink I tried their caramel macchiato coffee. OMG so delicious definitely getting the omelette, croissant and the coffee again!!! Went on a Friday night at 7 pm. It wasn't crowded like most restaurants were at that time and that was great!!! The service was awesome too! Very polite! The waitress kept on checking on us too! I had a lovely night catching up with an old friend and we could actually hear one another too. Most definitely will come back! I love their breakfast selections
