This restaurant is located in little Italy San Diego.
The restaurant offers outside seating as well as inside dining.
We walked up and down the main street looking at restaurants to try to find a good looking restaurant until we found this restaurant a few months before and wanted to try it again.
We arrived near closing time about 30 minutes unaware of the time.
The person greeting customers told us they couldn't serve us and luckily a girl walked up and said no problem.
There was 8 of us in the group but the buyers and wait staff were nice to us and said no problem.
We ordered 2 pasta pescatores, 2 lasagnas, 2 chicken parmesans, 2 pizzas, stuffed mushrooms, calamari and a kids spaghetti and meatballs.
The pescatores were full of seafood and pasta. They tasted great and it was a very generous serving.
Lasagnas weren't as big or as tasty.
The parmesan were also a good size but a bit dry.
The stuffed mushrooms were good.
The calamari was a good size and good flavor. The kids spaghetti with meatballs was good.
The stuffed mushrooms were kind of small but good.
I had ate at this restaurant before while visiting San Diego and I wanted my family to try it and we didn't leave disappointed.
Although there was a few setbacks this visit in all, everyone left full and happy. A few months before, when I had visited, everything was flawless.
The restaurant is nice and really decorated nicely with nice Italian drawings on the walls.
I guess it was a good reminder of Rome Italy.
So I'm going to give them a little more lead way due to the late visit.
I know everyone should be professional and take pride in their work but we will say it was late and they are human allowed to make mistakes.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and dine again.
