17 Stellar Takeout and Delivery Restaurants in LA’s San Gabriel Valley

"They’re not just doing frozen dumplings — for those who like to skip the whole “cook it” step, there’s those crispy house special dumpling-pocket-pies, and the larger minced lamb pies available for takeout." - Euno Lee

Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.

Very kind and friendly staff! Everything was freshly made to order, juicy, and very flavorful. This was also very affordable. The scallion oil noodles, and beef/cilantro dumplings were our standouts but we loves everything we ordered. We would love to revisit someday when we travel back to this area!

There were bugs on the buns. You can imagine how bad their hygiene is. Their attitude is not good. When I walked in today, no waiter came to greet me. They were all looking at their phones and eating at the table. The break time was not written on Google Maps and Apple Maps. As a result, I had to wait for a long time for the order I ordered in advance. The waiter saw me and had a bad attitude. she said he didn’t see it because he was on break. Wasn’t it a reservation? I didn’t say anything. In the end, I waited for a long time and got the meal. I saw bugs on the buns. I was really disgusted. I thought my colleague recommended it to me, so I wanted to try it. Reply to merchant review: Shouldn't the first thing you say when a customer walks in be that you're currently closed during your break? Neither Google Maps nor Apple Maps lists your break hours, and when I entered, your open sign was displayed. Furthermore, the service attitude was unimaginably poor. I hope everyone sees this review. Regarding the refund, I can only say it's reasonable. Shouldn't customers be entitled to a refund if they receive items infested with bugs? Moreover, I never demanded compensation or a replacement order from you.

Google
It's really good, with great color and reasonable prices. There's a wide selection of dishes at reasonable prices, so if you're looking for a quick bite and don't want to cook, I highly recommend this restaurant. I was quite full with just one bowl of noodles.

Google
My wife and I checked out Min Min House in Alhambra, a real hole-in-the-wall spot with a no-frills vibe. There’s basically no service—you scan a QR code to order, and they bring the food when it’s ready. The dumplings were solid, definitely a highlight. The cucumber salad was fantastic, super fresh and authentic. Hot and sour soup, though? Not my thing—couldn’t get used to the flavor. The beef pie stole the show with its thin, crispy skin and juicy filling. Scallion pancake was just okay, nothing special. The xiao long bao was tasty with soft, flavorful skins. Overall, they’ve got some great dumplings worth trying. Parking’s either on the street or in the back lot.

Google
Great hole in the wall where everything is made to order. Mini fried dumplings and mini wonton soup are great. Only 6 small tables. Good for breakfast

Google
Been wanting to try this pie house for some time, finally got the chance to try it last Sunday. Their dumplings and pies are awesome, they taste great and very flavorful. The dumpling skin is thin, the meat is juicy, doesn't have any aftertaste. However, I suggest going there for their dumplings and pies. Their noodles are subpar, it is under flavored, noodles are way too soft, and especially for the beef noodle soup, there are only 3 small pieces of beef in it. With that being said, I will definitely go back for their dumplings and pies.

I'm super excited to share my discovery of Min Min Pie House in Alhambra, California! This cozy gem is easily missed, but trust me, it's worth a try if you love Chinese handmade pie dishes. Walking in, I didn't see anyone to greet me, but the open seating and QR code ordering system made it easy to get started. Scan the code, choose from English or Chinese menus - so convenient! A friendly middle-aged lady arrived shortly, offered water, and let us know we could order through our phones. We ordered: sweet & sour soup, fried stinky tofu, lamb scallion pie, pork cabbage baozi, fried leek dumplings. All orders take a bit longer since everything's made from scratch. Dishes are perfectly seasoned; just add soy sauce or chill sauce to taste. And most of all, the place is owned by locals, with hands-on kitchen staff. When paying, the owner asked about my experience and shared their passion for handmade dishes. Only frozen dumplings are available for home purchase due to limited staff. Min Min Pie House is a hidden gem! Don't miss it if you're a fan of authentic Chinese cuisine. Give it a try and enjoy!

Yelp
Super small hole-in-the-wall local dumpling place. Perfect for a quick snack or lunch with a friend. I also recommend ordering for take out since there is not many tables inside and its not the cleanest looking place. Parking is kinda bad, its street parking and some very limited parking around the back. Highly recommend the pan fried pork buns. Its sooo good. Probably my favorite out of the juicy dumplings, fried dumplings, and steamed dumplings.

Yelp

Yelp
This is a true definition of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. There are no frills besides looking at the menu and ordering through a QR code. There are a few tables and it's a VERY modest, quaint restaurant. It is independently owned. There's nothing fancy about this place and that's part of the charm and leaves for reasonable pricing of their dishes. LOL. (1) Fried Buns - Tasty, good bun to meat ratio and had was juicy. It was fried nicely and had the crispy bottoms that I always look for. (2) Scallion Pancake - This was good. It wasn't overly greasy and was crispy. It almost bordered dry territory, but it still was flaky. (3) Beef and Scallion Pies - Star of the show - these meat pies were surprisingly full of juicy beef filling. The outer skin was just right. It wasn't too think and still contained all of the juices of the filling from pouring out. (4) Cucumber Salad - Standard cucumber salad. It was good and obligatory since we needed some veggies to go with our meal. (5) XLB - The weakest dish of the evening. The skin was too thick, but at least we can tell they were handmade. I think the ratio of skin to filling ruined the soup filling or probably absorbed too much of the soup or aspic. Like all of the other dishes, the filling was seasoned well. Overall, this place is good for the price. I generally like to eat at nicer places but this is a good place to grab takeout from. I think the dishes they make taste best while they are fresh/hot, so dining in and leaving with no frills is the way to go. The service is just there. They aren't rude yet they aren't personable. They are very casual. I like this place enough to come back or order takeout since all of their dishes are seasoned well. I didn't use any sauces during my meal.

Yelp
NO FUSS DUMPLINGS yummy, satisfying, and meat filled dumplings. A hole in the wall with aunties in the back making great dumplings. Highly recommend the pancake pork dumplings. Crispy to almost perfection and so juicy! Not even that oily too. Quick service too.

Yelp
A casual spot for dumplings and noodles. The spot is fairly small with around five or six tables. You order from a QR code, a waiter brings you your food, and you pay at the counter. Upon walking in, I was a little turned off because I noticed an odd smell and my table had soy sauce residue left on it, but I stayed because of the good reviews and because they make their dumplings in house. You can even see behind the counter the space where they make their dumplings and you can buy frozen dumplings to go. I tried the wonton soup, fried mini dumplings, and chive pockets and thought everything was tasty. The wontons and dumplings were definitely the highlights. They were savory, juicy, and porky. Everything is made fresh to order so they warn you that it could take 15 minutes for your food to come out but our dishes came out fairly quickly.

Yelp
MUST TRY!!! Everything was great here. The hot and sour soup was delicious, as well as all the dumplings (pan fried and steamed pork buns). I'm just surprised how fair the prices were. For 4 dumpling dishes, 1 noodle soup, 1 small soup, and 1 scallion pancake, the total was only $86 after tip and tax! The service and ambiance can't get more Chinese, which I love!
google avatar

Maria L.

Yelp
Today I was craving Chinese meat pie. I ordered the meat pie filled with beef and green onion , beef noodle soup and onion pancake to go. The order of meat pie comes in four pies. It was delicious. The beef noodle soup was also good. I did not liked the green onion pancake. It was kind of thick and it doesn't contain many layers. I would not order the green onion pancake again. But I would definitely order the meat pies and beef noodle soup again. This restaurant is very small. Seating for dine in is very limited. Service is very slow. If you are in a time crunch, call ahead to place your order and do take out instead of dining in at the restaurant.

Yelp
The food at Min Min Pie House was so good I forgot to take pictures. I grew up in the area, and it wasn't until recently that I even knew this place existed. The interior is super simple and reminds me of Taiwan. Everything is made to order, so the food comes out incredibly fresh. You have to try the pan fried dumplings and soup dumplings. I love how chewy the wrappers are, and there's plenty of meat and juice inside. The prices are also ridiculously cheap, which honestly makes the food taste even better.

Yelp
Food is so so ! No service at all seems like they don't care I still leave 15 tips for her Even is a small restaurant

Yelp
On a Sunday morning at 8:30an in late November, I came here for breakfast with my family. This place is on my sister list to try out. It's next to the poke place on main Street. Inside space is small with several tables. It appears parent's and daughter's owns this place and speaks mandarin. We ordered from the QR code on the table and ordered of 6 plates. Wonton soup. Beef noodle soup had small pieces of beef and bok choy, xlb wasn't juicy at all, pan fried xlb taste better than streams one, wonton soup was home made and taste good. Big round Pork pan fried buns taste good, pork and leek dumplings taste good. The kitchen is small behind the counter and everything is handmade. Good food. Parking in the street.
google avatar

Han L.

Yelp
One of the best dumplings I've had, especially the fried bun. Order ahead, it takes a while. Watch them make it in front of you.
google avatar

Caes F.

Yelp
Pan Fried Pork Buns were my personal favorite. The Leak Dumplings were a close second. Definitely no frills restaurant offering an array of buns, pies and dumplings.
google avatar

Yu W.

Yelp
Highly highly recommend for takeout because their dumplings and baos are simply incredible, whether hot or frozen. Reminds me of the ones my grandpa makes! Would not recommend dine in unless you plan to wait an hour after ordering to start getting your food. Middle aged lady at the cash register is also just so grumpy and rude, like you're bothering her by being there. Traditional Chinese restaurants aren't known for their friendliness, but she had by far the worst attitude of them all. The younger lady that took over (because we were that long for 4 dishes) was much friendlier and helpful.

Yelp
I was craving dumplings so I was browsing through Yelp and found Min Min Pie House. They have pretty high ratings and after trying their food, I now know why! Everything was delicious.! We ordered the following: - Cucumber with Sauce $5.49 - Beef & Green Onion Pancake (Meat Pie) $12.99 - Small Steamed Bun $11.99 - HK Style Shrimp and Pork Wonton in Soup $11.99 - Shredded Seaweed with Sauce $5.49 - Pork & Seafood Dumplings $11.99 Everything was really good, especially the HK Style Shrimp and Pork Wonton in Soup (which I'm craving already), Beef & Green Onion Pancake (it's their Meat Pie...so juicy), garlic cucumbers, and shredded seaweed (love that it had a bit of numbing taste). It's a small restaurant on the inside and as you walk in, you probably will see little aunties and grandma's making the dumplings by hand. I love that you can order everything online if you want to take it to go with ease. There is street parking and parking in the back. Please give this place a try, you definitely won't be sorry.

Yelp
Run by a group of friendly ladies, this place is now my favorite dumplings and buns place in the Alhambra area (after Kingburg Kitchen closed and Xing Xing Pasta turned into a home-based outfit). I recommend their buns, meat pies, and dumplings. The buns come in an order of 8 and are big enough they need two takeout boxes to fit. They have a variety of meat pie fillings and I recommend the lamb one. But note that meat pies are best consumed immediately -- they're just not the same if you let them sit and cool. Food takes a while here because they're made fresh to order. If you don't want to wait for more than 20 minutes (totally worth it), call ahead to order.

Janice L.

Yelp
Excellent dumplings! I even bought a bag to make at home. I also love their beef roll. It was packed with beef and diced scallions and cilantro rolled up in a crisp scallion pancake. I also got this dish a second time when I got my dumplings to go. Their meat pies are deliciously juicy. Careful when you bite into them!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute mom & pop spot on Main St! Min Min Pie House is known for their freshly made meat pies and frozen dumplings to-go, & everything we tried was so delicious. We got the pork cilantro meat pies (first time trying this & it was so good!), the pan fried pork buns (def a hit here), and our favorite, the beef noodle soup, which was very fresh, flavorful, and hearty. Friendly service & cozy, comforting vibes all around. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

Yelp
Very tasty steamed baos. I got the '3-ingredient' one, lots of broth inside the hot, soft, fluffy steamed dough. However there is a strong after taste of alcohol (rice wine?) which I dislike. $14 for 8 large baos, enough for several meals. Please use less alcohol in your stuffing marinade.

Yelp
Tasty made to order dumplings and meat pies! There can be a wait so be prepared. Order at the table. We saw some parties ordered ahead and were able to enjoy upon sitting down. We arrived at about 8:30a on a Saturday morning and got our food at 9a. Their special beef meat pies were quite succulent! Carefully they're hot and juicy.

Yelp
I was craving for meat pies and found this place to be the closest to me. I walked in and it was pretty empty. I scanned the QR code and order from there. I didn't have much interactions with the staffs. I ordered meat pie, cucumber salad and shanghai wonton soup. Overall I thought the food was pretty bland except for meat pie. It took a while for food to come out even though I was the only table there. Meat pie was hot and juicy. When I bit into meat pie, juice came out right away. Be careful, it's hot! I found parking in the back and walked over. I would stop by again if I ever have cravings for meat pie. I would love to try other dishes next time.
google avatar

Yelp
I got to say the food is amazing, the service is amazing as well. I tried the lamb and cilantro pie. The pie skin was crisp and held the juice of the meat pie so well. I would say this is like a xlb by bigger and better. The fried pork bun was good too. I would definitely come back and try their other items. Ambiance is ok, I mean it could be brighter, more organized and newer furniture. Parking is ample behind the building with a free public parking lot and free street parking.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday night with a friend and we were seated right away - didn't have to deal with a long line or wait, which was nice. Menu viewing and ordering are done through a QR code (no physical menus) and we pay at the front when we're ready to pay. While the menu doesn't have descriptions, the photos were helpful in deciding what to order. The food was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. It wasn't bad by any means though! Best dish of the night was the cucumber salad, solid dish!
google avatar

Smita N.

Yelp
You know a place is legit when it's a hole in the wall, the menus are in Chinese, and there is a grandma making chili oil right in front of you. I ordered the Shanghai style wonton soup, pork pies, and cucumber salad, which was more than enough for a party of 2. The soup, while light, was bursting with umami. The pork and scallion pies came hot and juicy, generously filled with a crispy crust. The cucumber salad was mild but well seasoned, a perfect complement to the heavier pies. All the dishes tasted home made, and even earned the approval of my Chinese friend. I look forward to coming back.

Yelp
Legit hole in the wall spot 5 tables Hand made dumplings on site Service was a different experience in a good way Scan a code and you can place the order from your table and see the popular items and continuously add to your tab Checkout is done at the register and be mindful of the credit minimum Food was tasty and fresh, handmade dumplings were tender juicy and plentiful! Fried mini buns had crunch and sweetness. The noodle with meat sauce was pleasantly surprising with crunch from cucumber sweet and spicy sauce and thought the noodles were cold but actually warm. Pancake and egg was like a fried flat bread with egg on top, not overly greasy and great crunch Dishes are easily shareable, very much a local spot as continuous folks kept on coming, appeared family own Definetly return for more handmade dumplings! They also sell their dumplings to go. What a hidden spot indeed!
google avatar

Jenny Y.

Yelp
I love hole in the walls and that's what this felt like. Food was ok, I would probably come back and try noodles, dumplings, and the meat pies. -xlb: Not a fan. The dumplings were overcooked and were mostly popped. The skin was also pretty thick. - wonton: This came pretty plain. The broth had some scallion (?) oil that was very tasty. Maybe

Yelp
Honestly, a hidden gem in the area. Came here with my grandparents and it did not disappoint them. We got a beef and pork meat pie and it was extremely juicy. Every single bite was crispy but also it hit you with the juice. We got the seaweed salad and it was a perfect appetizer to start off . We also got the wontons and me and my grandma were obsessed with the the soup base. Although the wontons were tiny, but they were good. It was meat in every bite. We also got the beef rolls. They were good but they were a little salty. overall we'll come here again. It is one of my new favorite spots. Just be prepared to wait, as they make everything fresh and they only had five tables ! It seems like a lot of people buy their frozen stuff though!

Yelp
Min Min pie house is a Chinese meat pie hooe in the wall restaurant (in the nicest way). They are known for their amazing meat pies. It was my first time there, so we ordered several other items too! It's a simple place, with the ambiance of stepping into a fast food plscr in China. You order online through a designated QR code, but if you need a paper menu when you are there, it's by the cash register. People were nice, but also kept to themselves. Everything is super fresh, especially the doughs of every dish! Yum!! There were 5 of us that went and we had different favorites. I put top three by person below. Regular meat pie: yummy, it's like a big flat soup dumpling. Eat with a spoon! Pan fried XLB (soup dumplings): my daughter ate almost two plates. We have never seen this done before, it looks like it was steamed and then quickly pan fried. It's not a gyoza. Sesame sauce noodles: my favorite. Really great sauce with super fresh noodles Cucumbers and potatoes small cold dishes were both good! It's my families go to place that live nearby. It was my first time, but I will be going back. I want to try their wontons!
google avatar

Keo N.

Yelp
Overall the food taste ok. The XLBs was too rustic for me, meaning the skin was thick and chunky. The pies were better than the soup and noodles. Authentic and homey and you are ready for a carb overload.
google avatar

Yelp
Min Min Pie House is a homely cozy restaurant where you'll get freshly made savory pancakes and dumplings and buns. The beef pancake is a simple patty that's seasoned well and encapsulated in a nicely fried bun alongside a mouthful of broth. Pairs well with the chili on the table to give it a little extra kick and salt. The pork buns are delicious - well cooked and flavorful. Service is nice and it's a chill spot. Street parking available
google avatar

Jeanie L.

Yelp
I had to run an errand in the area over the weekend and decided to get an early lunch. Not many restaurants were open yet so I settled on this restaurant since they open early. Service: The restaurant is pretty small and does not have many tables so be prepared to wait a bit if they're busy. Ordering is done easily through a QR code on the table. Menu is in both English and Chinese. The only interaction we had with the staff was when they dropped off water and food. Food: We ordered the scallion pancake, cucumber salad, and meat pies. The scallion pancake was nice and crispy but it lacked flavor. We ended up not finishing this dish because it was so bland. The cucumber salad was overall good but some pieces were way too salty. The best dish was the meat pies. It was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The only reason why I would come back in the future would be for their meat pies.
google avatar

Gill M.

Yelp
Cozy spot, hole in the wall. Scan QR code to order, pay at cashier. Great prices, great food. Good sized with affordable prices. Received order within 15 minutes. Tables seat up to 4 people, more of an in and out experience rather than staying in large groups and/or sharing stories, as some people may wait for your table once it gets busy.
google avatar

Juan F.

Yelp
We've gotten take out from this spot a few times. Choices are pretty solid and traditional. Store is on the small side but its never really crowded inside. Parking available on the street. Solid option if you want some Asian food in the area.
google avatar

Joyce H.

Yelp
Had dinner on a weekday. Tables have QR codes that let you order pretty efficiently, so the employees don't really come to the table except to deliver things. Stinky tofu 5/5. Must order again. Light, fluffy, savory, and of course, stinky. Great flavor. Beef noodle soup 3/5. Loved how chewy the noodles were, but broth flavor was kind of bland. It didn't help that everything else had much bolder flavors. Lamb and cilantro pancakes 5/5. Bursting with flavor. Crisp thin dough wrapped around juicy goodness - maybe about 2 spoonfuls leaking out onto your plate if you're not careful. Super eager to try the other variations. Pan fried buns 4/5. Expectations were too high based on others' experiences. We also already have a favorite pan fried buns place, so the bar was set quite high. Tasted good enough but will stick to Kang Kong next time. They do take credit cards. Saw a customer come in maybe 5 min before closing for takeout, and was turned away. The employees were busy cleaning the kitchen when we finished eating, so after a while we had to go flag them down to wrap up.

Yelp
Great food. Traditional Chinese cuisine and very clean. You can see the difference in taste, it is fresh and the flavor is amazing.

Yelp
I've been watching Netflix, "The Double" and craving bao and fried stuffed Chinese pancakes. Min min Pie house in Alhambra fit the bill perfectly. This is a very small mom and pop shop that feels authentic. The menu is a lot larger than I anticipated and it was hard to pick just 2 items. I ended up getting the chives and egg "pie" and pork with pickled cabbage bao. It took over 20 minutes to get my order because they had to fry the pie and steam the bao. I like that it's pre-prepped then cooked fresh to order. Both items were simple, delicious, and satisfying. While the food is by no means gourmet, it's simple and flavorful. I noticed that they do a lot of food delivery orders and even have a few dine-in patrons. Portions are generous. The bao comes 8 in an order and the fried pies have 4 to an order. Honestly I think this food will feed me for many meals. Street parking is plentiful and easy to find. A nice find in Alhambra. I'll be back to work my way through the menu.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place. We ordered take out and food was pipping hot still when we got back. Food was mediocre. I wouldn't come back to order it myself but if there was an occasion that someone else brought it for pot luck then I wouldn't mind eating it. Pork Fried Buns- skin was thicker than what I'm use to. Texture of bun wasn't as I prefer, wished there was a bit of a chew to it. Pork was a bit dry and there wasn't any juice in the bun either. Pork& Green Onion Pancake- was slightly better than the fried buns. Texture for the pancake was a little off as well.

Yelp
I was very glad to find another place where I could eat tasty dumplings and pan fried buns. Ive been looking for one since Tasty noodle house closed and Hui To Shang wasn't open to inside dining anymore. I only ordered three dishes (chai and egg, pancake, beef noodle soup, pork, and leek dumplings) since there were only two of us but I couldn't help but notice the other delicious dishes on the tables next to us. I will definitely need to come back to try the others. If you ever come here just know that the place is small and the largest group they can probably seat is six people. Be prepared to wait a little as this is a small mom and pop shop and things are made by hand and cook to order. There's a QR code on the table for you to place your order.

Yelp
Very hole in the wall tiny place but super authentic - some of the best steamed buns I've ever had. Wish I lived here and go back.

Yelp
I followed other Yelper's reviews and only ordered mostly just the dishes that they were known for, meat pies and chive pancake, and it was a delicious and cheap meal! I really enjoy the Chinese meat pies here, so much filling and well seasoned too. My kids really enjoyed the place.

Yelp
We stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday at this cozy spot, which has just six tables. We ordered the pan-fried pork buns, beef meat pie, and pork chop noodles using their QR code system. The food arrived in about 15 minutes--a reasonable wait, especially since the pan-fried buns and beef pie are freshly made to order. The food was delicious, and we'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu.

Yelp
Amazing fresh food made to order by the sweetest ladies. I have had my fair share of dumplings etc, and this place is the best I have had since my trip to china. Everything was pipping hot and seasoned just right. Highly recommend the fried buns, steamed fish dumplings, and the pies.

Yelp
I like this place for the atmosphere. It's a small, cozy, and quiet hole-in-the-wall unlike most places that are loud and chaotic. Absolutely no frills - they don't take measures to keep it nice and tidy, and that's how you know the food is good when you see it gets busy. But to be fair, a lot of dirty Chinese restaurants in the area are much, much worse. Everything is made to fresh to order. Food does not come out fast especially if it's busy. There are signs everywhere telling you that it will take at least 15 minutes for the food to come out so you can't say they didn't warn you. The wait was worth it though. We got 4 items: the beef pie, sheng jian bao, stinky tofu and Hang zhou steamed pork buns. Overall, food tastes good and but not 5 star good, mainly because I'm just nitpicky. Beef pie had a lot of flavor from the filling and it also had soup inside, but the dough skin kept constantly cracking and all the soup would spill out. I'd have liked this more if it wasn't so difficult to handle. It was more difficult to eat than a steamed soup dumpling because of how much wider it is, and it's not like you can use your hands and risk getting burned by hot soup. The sheng jian bao isn't as good as the ones at Kang Kang Food Court or Auntie Qiu's when it comes to flavor, but I'd still get this one again because I liked the texture. The fried tofu could have been fried for longer because it didn't really have much crispiness. I think for me, the best was the Hang Zhou steamed pork bun because I never had this before so I had nothing to compare it to. I thought it was steamed perfectly and the dough was so thick and fluffy.

Yelp
Best restaurant ever!!!!!!! The food was delicious I recommend the mini pork fried bun and hot and sour soup. The service is amazing and the are quick and make everything fresh. The ambiance is pretty good for a simple family owned business. Now I come every single weekend no matter what.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered via Ubereats for delivery on Sun, May 12 at noon. We ordered the following (Note: Prices via UberEats May 2024) Pork & Green Onion Pancakes(4 pcs) $14.99 --Decently sized, they were soggy on the bottom when we ate them. However, they were still packed with flavor. Fried Buns (8 pcs) $11.99 -- Sadly, they were not as good as Kang Kang Xiao Mei but were alright. Pork & Leek Dumplings (10 pcs) $12.99 -- The picture of the dumplings showed potstickers, but when they came, they were regular dumplings. I'm unsure if you're supposed to indicate that you want them to be potstickers?! But yeah, I was looking forward to the potstickers (I prefer them over reg dumplings, lol), but they still tasted good. Fried Mini Buns (12pcs) $10.99 --To be frank, I was unimpressed by these. My husband wanted to try them, so we ordered them. All in all, I see the potential in these dishes. Everyone thought the food was good, but would have been better if we ate them right away. I would return, but I'd want to try eating at the restaurant next time. The food would be significantly better if you ate it fresh and not delivered!

Yelp
My wife and I checked out Min Min House in Alhambra, a real hole-in-the-wall spot with a no-frills vibe. There's basically no service--you scan a QR code to order, and they bring the food when it's ready. The dumplings were solid, definitely a highlight. The cucumber salad was fantastic, super fresh and authentic. Hot and sour soup, though? Not my thing--couldn't get used to the flavor. The beef pie stole the show with its thin, crispy skin and juicy filling. Scallion pancake was just okay, nothing special. The xiao long bao was tasty with soft, flavorful skins. Overall, they've got some great dumplings worth trying. Parking's either on the street or in the back lot.

Yelp
I feel at home here, this place has my literal childhood foods. Simple but delicious is probably the best way to describe it. I reckon it's more of a to go place, as there isn't much room for dining in. I highly recommend the soy sauce pancake and the fried buns, nostalgia makes it all taste better.

Yelp
As a returing customer of this restaurant, I recommend this one if you like Traditional handmade pie, dumpling dishes. Although it is a small business with welcoming employee. They have plenty of choice on the menu. This is not a fancy one but essencial is the food quality and varity of all the dumplings and pancake ! The highlight of meat pies are full of juice and very flavorful, fried mini bun is delicious too!
