World Class Omakase in Lucerne! Fantastic food, drink, service, atmosphere! Exceeded my expectations! So grateful to have such a fantastic Japanese restaurant here in Lucerne! Had a wonderful evening at this exquisite restaurant! The atmosphere is very beautiful - an intimate seating of only eight seats, soft jazz in the background and elegant plates and cutlery, the whole experience feels very personal and effortlessly luxurious. The host Yukata Kobayashi is not just an amazing chef, but also a great entertainer, turning every bite into part of his show. The occasional jokes lightens the mood of the guests and makes everything feel more enjoyable and relaxed. The sommelier was just equally amazing, very friendly and gave great recommendations. The only thing I ask myself is how often the menu changes, as many dishes seem quite consistent or to be the same based on photos and reviews I find online, which would be a bit of a shame considering returning here. Regardless, if you have never experienced Omakase in your life, this may be the perfect place to try it in Switzerland. Great for Solo Dining too!

None of the reviews where exaggerated! Every dish is a carefully handcrafted masterpiece of highest quality and exotic ingredients. Both the chef and the sommelier are attentive, knowledgable and clearly very passionate about their job. The range and quality of sake are also to the same incredibly high standard. The ambiente is both incredibly high-class, and yet so warm and inviting - heavily aided by the fact the chef and sommelier seemed to enjoy what they did and how much we were taken by each dish and drink. This is one of those rare cases, where the experience is greater than the sum of its parts, which are already of the highest order. To call it 'worth every penny' would be the understatement of the century. This experience has been something, that I could not have quantified in money, have I had to try.

An incredible experience! This is a small and exclusive Japanese restaurant with just a few seats at the counter, where the chef cooks right in front of you, explaining every dish in detail. Each course is a real journey, and the sake pairing is absolutely worth trying — a carefully selected range that perfectly enhances every flavor. Highly recommended!

Not many words can explain this amazing experience. From the beginning until the end every detail is taken care of. The amazing depth of the cuisine and preparation is astonishing. Our Chef Yutako was an incredible host and artist. The atmosphere is perfect and makes you travel to japan. A huge selection of Sake is available, as well as non alcoholic choices. Absolutely delicious and an experience that will always have a place in our heart and mind.

Super interesting dinner experience in a setup (bar) for only 8 people. Chef Yutaka guides you through a large number of courses for you to enjoy while having a conversation with the bar. Very interesting! The food itself was delicious. With some Japanese and local ingredients. We shared a single sake pairing between the two of us, which was more than enough.

Very very good sushi. One of the best sushi rice (and thats a skill!) I have tasted (including singapore/japan). Thank you for the wonderful evening! Also very nice people. Loved it.

We had a wonderful experience with Chef Yutaka and Viktor. Far from a stuffy, impersonal dinner that sometimes comes with high cuisine, they made us feel comfortable and welcome. The evening began with small talk amongst the 8 patrons, Chef, and Viktor (the evening's sommelier). They were genuinely interested in us and our preferences and quickly made it clear that they aim to please. Each course was a delightful and delicious surprise as Chef explained his approaches. While he then assembled our dishes, Viktor would speak about the sake pairing for that particular course. Both men were knowledgeable, interesting, and engaging and we thoroughly enjoyed out evening. On this trip, we ate at three Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as a couple of Michelin-recommended. This was our favorite and we would love to visit again.
