I love the Japanese traditional pastries here. I have followed the place from 5th Ave to Madison over the years. The pastries here have reached their perfection. In general the service in a Japanese establishment is impeccable; however, we had this grumpy elder lady in the store today. It was quite an unpleasant experience this time.

Excellent service, so clean and pretty in the store. The sales ladies were so calm, sweet and helpful. They were very polite and proper and also very attentive. They have so many choices it's hard not to get carried away. We bought mini mooncakes that ended up being so delicious we wanted more. We also bought some individually wrapped pancake, and pastries. Sweet but very yummy. Very excited to return and stock up on more.

If you like Japanese dessert, try this place! I remember my dad bringing little Japanese manju whenever he had a trip to Japan. I love how outside is so smooth and inside was filled with sweet bean fillings. I was able to go back to that memories from this store. Price is a bit $$$$ but, hey, they are GOOD. Staffs are super friendly and their packaging is just so cute :D

From the packaging to the first bite, this was a welcome sweet stop for us. This is a Red Bean snack paradise that was fresh tasting even though they were packaged. The green leaf shaped rice patty was velvet soft. Some of their sweets look like snow globes with Gold Fish or glass souvenirs, enticing. You can pick up a nice gift here if you are stuck on ideas. Very opulent cravings

Desserts were pretty well made, but is quite pricey. They have different varieties Japanese desserts ranging from: crackers, dried fruit, mochi, rice cake, and red bean desserts. I got the matcha senbei, which was $3.70 for one and it was very delicious, but it's something I would buy often.

Japanese bakeries are so beautiful and clean. Mindful and Demure describes it well. I came here to get their rice crackers because they're delicious and only 25 calories per cracker and it hits the spot when I want a salty crunchy snack. I like the soy sauce crackers, the salad flavor crackers and the seaweed crackers. Sooooooo goood and beautifully individually wrapped. Would make a great gift as well❤️🤍❤️🤍🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️

I had the bean cake with cherry blossom. It was delicate, soft, delicious, sweet and flavorful. Also very expensive and not sure I'd get again, but okay as a treat. They had lactose free options but a lot of their options had milk.
