"In Jersey City's India Square I found a halal butcher shop and grocery that sports a kebabery in the front window where brochettes are cooked over flame and in a clay tandoor: Minar Kabab Tikka Corner. The chicken tandoori, consisting of a leg-and-thigh quarter, is probably the best in the city—pieces are often cooked to order and the poultry turns out pink and fragrant; you get two pieces for $5.99, served with salad, onions, spicy green chutney, and a lemon wedge. Lamb kebabs, pomfret fish, quail, and two types of chicken tikka are also available, and there is seating along a counter that provides a view of the kitchen." - Robert Sietsema

Hidden gem. Really loved its fresh mutton/goat meat and also must try shawarma( 1+1). Reasonable and affordable pricing. Value for money.

Minar Kabab Tikka Corner is a great place to enjoy good food. The food is exceptional, with every item packed with fresh, rich flavors. The staff is very friendly and provides excellent service. I tried the kebabs and shawarma sandwiches, and they were delicious. Prices are surprisingly affordable just keep in mind it’s a takeout-only spot with no seating.

Minor Kabab tikka corner is a hidden gem. The food was truly exceptional - every menu item was bursting with flavor and freshness. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. I tried their burgers and shawarma sandwiches and they are delicious. And to top it all off, the prices were surprisingly affordable- more like take out place - no seating
