Yelp
Really disappointed, in both service and taste.
We ordered 3 items through a 3rd party delivery app and they sent only 1 correct item. The app options ask the restaurant to contact us directly if there is any issue, but they never reached out to us at any point in the whole process. **edited due to store's response -- I sent a complaint message to the delivery app, not providing my phone number, and they called me immediately, so I don't see any issue with my phone. other restaurants have also called me recently because they're out of ingredients, with no problem whatsoever. The app also only offered a credit of $4, after a huuuuge waste of time trying to get redelivery for the 2 items or a refund - an amount I don't understand? As for the weight of the chocolates, it was the store's decision to sell in 1/4 pound increments, so I'm not sure how to respond to them having to go over instead of under the weight. I will decline doing more legwork and contacting the store, as we didn't like the food anyway.**
They sent a milk chocolate "mountain" when their menu specifically makes you choose milk or dark chocolate - and I would think a self-proclaimed chocolate lover such as Mindy would understand how important it is to get the right kind, as some people really dislike certain types of chocolate.
They also flat-out failed to send the "smoreos," so we requested a redelivery; the store apparently canceled and marked itself closed. We didn't realize at the time but the store was apparently actually open for another hour??
As for the actual products, the milk chocolate mountains and marshmallow peanut butter cups honestly just tasted like cheap chocolate a
+ other cheap ingredients, with no real flavor profile or depth, and seem really overpriced. I'm the last person on earth to self-cook/bake anything over ordering, but I actually think I could have made better.
If the items we received at least tasted better, I would have added another star or 2.
