Listen, if you don't do anything else, come to Mingles for this insane and delicious oyster flight! It was soooo good. I also had the chicken phily, buffalo chicken dip, turkey burger, and salmon croquettes and mac n cheese. (not pictured because we were being so greedy) We missed happy hour by 15 mins and the owner came out and gave us free tequila shots.

I would recommend this place, especially for a late night! This isn’t my first time at Mingles so obviously something keeps bringing me back! This time, the customer service could have been better, but overall it was still a good experience. In regard to the food, the catfish and asparagus were phenomenal. 10/10! On the other hand, the chicken could’ve been seasoned better and we could’ve lived without the macaroni, but overall the food was decent. The drinks were pretty strong as well. If you’re looking for a black owned bar with good food and a good atmosphere, this is it!

Prejudice . Person that took my order was nice but over charged when I paid with cash. Ordered 2 drinks and 8 wings which came to a total of $60.68 I handed over $80 and never received any change back … I would’ve on my own tipped but to take what you didn’t deserve is wild will never go back again . Black on black crime should also be illegal.

Went for my birthday dinner. When we arrived we sat at a booth, we was told we would need to buy bottle and had 45 minutes to sit there, so we were seated at another table. The food and presentation so good, the drinks mango pineapple lemon drop and the wear my crown drink so good 😊. Owner was greeting patrons and very nice I will definitely be back

We came in for a birthday celebration so we had a table. You have to buy a bottle to get the booth. It was $350, which is ridiculous for a bottle of don julio. The food was ok. I had mac n cheese, which was too salty for my taste. The bang bang shrimp were good and the fried lobster was decent too. But the drinks are overpriced! We are not downtown why am i paying $17 for one drink?! Anyway the vibe was cool, crowd was nice. But this would not be a regular spot i would come to. Just stopped by to grab a drink while my parents ate at Culver’s. Security is really thorough and made sure he checked everyone’s ID and Frisked. I felt very safe! He needs a raise! Also the drinks are good. Happy Hour Menu is actually worth it. My Long Island looked to be smaller than others I’ve had in the past but packed quite a punch and was absolutely delicious. I love how they have “shooters” for $5 that allow you try shots of different high end alcoholic beverages such as Hennessy, Casa Migos, etc. great place overall.

They served an oysters Rockefeller that had no smoked bacon I didn’t taste any of the oyster there was so much cheese on top of the oyster it was totally a nogo! Then when we received the bill it had 30% gratuity added to our receipt instead of 18 % percent drinks are very potent you don’t need but one!!! Will not be returning to this bar and grill not again…. It’s a SUCKER born everyday LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPTS once you get your bill!!!

Came here for a 2nd time for recommendations to my friends. Immediately from the moment we sat down the light skin girl with the fake booty was very unprofessional and unpleasant. I thought maybe someone prior to us had pissed her off and that she would lighten up. But no, after serving us our drinks half way threw our drinks she begin cleaning the bar in front of us and snatch my friends drink and poured it out as if she was rushing us to move and get up. So I explained and my friend explained to her how rude that was for her to pour out the drink and she wasn’t even done with it. I ask the manager is the bartender ok?? he says yeah she gona replace the drink she poured out. She then replace it with an overly juice down drink that taste nothing like what we had before it was poured out. She then storms off and goes to get this stud looking girl to come behind the bar to stare at us be weird and harass us to let us know we need to leave. The stud girl even begin to get aggressive with us to the point the manger tells her she don’t need her assistance cuz she began lying and saying she heard me from across the bar. This was very unacceptable for paying customers spending close to $100 and not even there a hour before we start receiving this horrible attitude from this bar tender who didn’t kno us from a can a paint. On top of ordering bone in wings that was $15 for 8 with no fries or anything and they came out looking so small like a box of popcorn chicken. Please do better with staffing don’t ever let a bar tender think she’s Bigger than the program and slowly bring the whole business down. The worse customer service I have ever seen in a bar establishment. Then she had the nerve to ask me for two forms of ID before taking my payment which at this point I didn’t even trust her with my actual card so I ask to tap. Yeah she was never trained she couldn’t have been properly trained on being a bar tender or how to have proper CUSTOMER SERVICE when dealing with the public. Very sad when you try to support your own and run into this type of service that makes you want to get out of character. UNACCEPTABLE

I was coming every week because i enjoyed the bartender Chrissy she made your Friday nights so much fun, i see she is gone, wow... it won't be the same. some of the other young ladies don't have friendly personalities. the food is great

Had just left to go to my car had ate got drinks and everything, I said let me pee before I go mind you i literally just left out so I go back to the door security like it's 5 $ to come back in . I'm like I literally just left out of here I'm still waiting on people to come out , my friends and stuff still in here he study talking about the 5$ I give it to him because I'm not about to go back and forth with your ass I got a great job it ain't nothing . I go pee come back out as I'm leaving out my little sister walking in I say did he just charge you 5$ she like naw so yea that pissed me off all these mfs came up here for me and you wanna charge a mf that already paid for service, the 5$ wasn't the problem it's how he went about it . That's bad customer service if you gone do something do it for everybody don't pick and choose especially when I had already been in there and wasn't even leaving .

Locked in an establishment is diabolical. Security lying saying we're waiting for a party to come in to let someone out. Being blocked in by armed security, preventing ppl from leaving is unlawful. A male security guard explained that ppl have been walking out without complying their tabs. My party offered showing receipts and it was declined. In my opinion leaving room for someone to walk out is diabolical, because waitress staff doesn't return for service for an hour or more. They have to constantly be flagged down for service, taking payments and returning change or personal cards. the audacity to add gratuity to such poor services is wild. I asked if my party which were 3 tables could be pushed together which could've possibly made service better. O was declined. I asked for manager sevwral times who never came over. Waitress staff who don't want to take orders if it isn't their table and if you purchase something at the bar and bring over to your table, they want to double charge you beongbunaware a payment has been made at the bar. There's so much unorganization, no communication amongst the staff or with customers. Too much service and understaff will result in a cluster fuck.

Food was great. Try the blue drink if you think you can handle it. .... oysters are a must try

My Best Friend came to town and asked me to take her somewhere Nice with Good Drinks and Mingles came to mind we Went and had a Great time the Atmosphere the Food and Drinks were Amazing Five Stars Awesome Customer Service going to be my New Spot and not to Mention security at the door made me Feel Safe

The food was mediocre. The service was horrible. They only had one waiter for the entire floor. However the drinks were strong and they play good music. Also they charge an automatic 15% tip no matter how many people are in your party. The waiter brought me a paper copy of my receipt and then waited standing over me to see if I was going to leave an additional tip. Too expensive for what they offer.

Nice place. The oysters are good just to try one time in my opinion ($30 for 6 oysters). They would definitely be a snack/appetizer so I'd be prepared to order more food(their food is good). Good music and nice bartenders so sweet. The security lady at the front need to learn how to smile... Other than that, 10/10!! Drinks hit too!

The food was good but it's HIGHLY over priced! If you don't mind paying almost $100 for one entree and one drink, then definitely go here. It's a vibe and it's good. But be so for real about those prices. I had the catfish tenders. They came with fries. It wasn't even a lot of food but it was a lot of money.

The food was SUPERB, seasoned to perfection!!!! The peace and pineapple drop was made to perfection. This was the first time I've had a flavored "lemon drop" with favor. Customer service was great! The owners was very personable and attentive.

Great food amazing drinks beautiful atmosphere wonderful staff I love the patio seating and the garage doors was the icing on the cake this place gives you a downtown feeling in the south suburbs

Food was trash!!! Wings were the ones that come out of a package already breaded that u can either throw in the oven or in some grease! Nothing was authentic buffalo chicken dip didn't have the cream cheese or cheese at all! Atmosphere was great for the occasion! Management does argue with patrons instead of fixing their trials in errors!

I was planning a birthday dinner for this occasion. The place is nice the owner is nice but things kind of went left when I got there. So I give it to her for appearance and the establishment is well lit and clean but the service was bad. Be aware of the food prices. So to start off I booked and put down for 6people. The owner told me it goes towards your bill. FALSE. I assumed that since I had reservations that I would a have a consistent waiter for my table and cater to my party. FALSE. It took for ever to get someone and when they finally showed up they were really pressed about ordering . Started off with drinks. She didn't bring water for the table and I had to go to the bar and get her after 10minutes to remind her of our drinks. Ordered the catfish and spaghetti $22.00. The fish was fresh and hot. Spaghetti was good but for that price I feel you need another side. Had the strawberry Hennessy. And the blue drink . Both drinks were good but again pricey. I give it to Mingles but it's a nice place for food and drinks but it's a BIG NO for booking a party again.
